Hydrogel-based flexible electronic devices have great potential in human motion monitoring, electronic skins, and human-computer interaction applications; hence, the efficient preparation of highly sensitive hydrogel-based flexible sensors is important. In the present work, the ultrafast polymerization of a hydrogel (1–3 min) was achieved by constructing a tannic acid (TA)-Fe3+ dynamic redox system, which endowed the hydrogel with good adhesion performance (the adhesion strength in wood was 17.646 kPa). In addition, the uniform dispersal ensured by incorporating polydopamine-decorated polypyrrole (PPy@PDA) into the hydrogel matrix significantly improved the hydrogel's stretching ability (575.082%). The as-prepared PAM/CS/PPy@PDA/TA hydrogel-based flexible sensor had a high-fidelity low detection limit (strain = 1%), high sensitivity at small strains (GF = 5.311 at strain = 0–8%), and fast response time (0.33 s) and recovery time (0.25 s), and it was reliably applied to accurate human motion monitoring and handwriting recognition. The mechanical properties and microstructure of the cemented paste backfill (CPB) in dry–wet cycle environments are particularly critical in backfill mining. In this study, coal gangue, fly ash, cement, glass fiber, and nano-SiO2 were used to prepare CPB, and dry–wet cycle tests on CPB specimens with different curing ages were conducted. The compressive, tensile, and shear strength of CPB specimens with different curing ages under different dry–wet cycles were analyzed, and the microstructural damage of the specimens was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that compared with the specimens without dry–wet cycles, the uniaxial compressive strength, tensile strength, and shear strength of the specimens with a curing age of 7 d after seven dry–wet cycles were the smallest, being reduced by 40.22%, 58.25%, and 66.8%, respectively. After seven dry–wet cycles, the compressive, tensile, and shear strength of the specimens with the curing age of 28 d decreased slightly. The SEM results show that with the increasing number of dry–wet cycles, the internal structure of the specimen becomes more and more loose and fragile, and the damage degree of the structural skeleton gradually increases, leading to the poor mechanical properties of CPB specimens. The number of cracks and pores on the specimen surface is relatively limited after a curing age of 28 d, while the occurrence of internal structural damage within the specimen remains insignificant. Therefore, the dry–wet cycle has an important influence on the both mechanical properties and microstructure of CPB. This study provides a reference for the treatment of coal-based solid waste and facilitates the understanding of the mechanical properties of backfill materials under dry–wet cycling conditions. New and valuable packaging materials, with high biocompatibility and biodegradability, have garnered attention in recent years. The aim of this study was to investigate the physicochemical characterization and biological activities of chitosan (CH)-based composite films with the incorporation of chestnut flower essential oil (CFEO). The composite films were prepared by the casting method and characterized in terms of structural, morphological, and mechanical properties via FT-IR, XRD, UV, SEM, AFM, and TGA. Antibacterial properties were investigated using Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Calletotrichum musae. Antioxidant capabilities were measured by DPPH assay. The results proved the significantly increased water vapor permeability (WVP), heat resistance, and antibacterial and antioxidant capabilities of CH-CFEO films. The incorporation of CH and CFEO enhanced UV blocking, which made the film shield almost all UV light. Films with a tensile strength of 6.37 ± 0.41 MPa and an elongation at break of 22.57 ± 0.35% were obtained with 6 mg mL−1 of CFEO. Subsequently, banana preservation experiments also confirmed that the composite films could effectively extend shelf life through reducing weight loss. These desirable performances enable our newly developed composite films to be a remarkable packaging material to become alternatives to traditional petroleum-based food-packaging materials and solve the fresh fruit preservation dilemma. Genes from Perilla frutescens and Ocimum basilicum were introduced into N. tabacum L. var. HHY via distant hybridization, and the new-type tobacco varieties "Zisu" and "Luole" were developed, with noticeable differences in chemical composition. Smoking is the leading cause of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and its pathogenesis is complex. In the present study, 48 male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into four groups, namely, the control, "HHY", "Zisu" and "Luole", and then exposed to fresh air/cigarette smoke (CS) for 30 days and 60 days. The COPD model was constructed, and their health hazards were compared and evaluated. CS from different tobacco varieties influenced rats in varying degrees at the tissue, cell and molecular levels. The rats in the "HHY" group showed obvious symptoms, such as cough and dyspnea, which were less severe in the "Zisu" and "Luole" groups. Pathological and morphological analyses, including scores, MLI, MAN, WAt/Pbm and WAm/Pbm, showed that "Zisu" and "Luole" caused less damage to the airways and lung parenchyma than "HHY". Significant increases in the numbers of total leukocytes and neutrophils in the BALF were found in "HHY" compared to those in "Zisu" and "Luole". Moreover, they caused less oxidative stress and apoptosis in lung tissues, as reflected by indicators such as ROS, MDA, T-AOC, GSH, the apoptotic index and the ratio of Bcl-2 to Bax. "Zisu" and "Luole" even altered the ratios of MMP-9/TIMP-1 and IFN-γ/IL-4 in lung tissues to a lesser degree. These differences between CS-exposed rats may be closely related to the altered expression of Nrf2, p38 MAPK and p-p38 MAPK. An accurate assessment of crop water requirements during the crop growth period can help organize irrigation schedules and investigate the hydrological environments in irrigation districts, especially in shallow groundwater districts. In irrigation scheduling, crop coefficients, representing three development stages, play a critical role in modeling evapotranspiration. Therefore, in this study, the crop coefficient (Kc) of sunflowers under drip irrigation in different hydrological years in the Hetao irrigation district with shallow groundwater is determined. Based on the analysis of rainfall frequency, the experimental situations of 2012, 2013, and 2014 are adopted as high, normal, and low flow years. Using the water balance method, groundwater recharge and crop evapotranspiration in different hydrological years were investigated. The results showed that the groundwater recharge in a high-flow year was larger than that in normal and low-flow years with values of 67.47, 66.75, and 42.61 mm, respectively. Crop evapotranspiration is directly related to the irrigation amount at the same growth stage. The Kc of sunflowers in a high-flow year is higher by 0.1 and 0.15 than that in normal and low-flow years. The Kc of sunflowers under drip irrigation is lower than that under surface irrigation by 8.9% in the initial and late stages of sunflower growth, but higher than that by 10.6% in the mid-stage, which is due to differences in small water potential differences and less evapotranspiration in the initial and late stages under drip irrigation. Rapid and accurate detection of protein toxins is crucial for public health. The Raman spectra of several protein toxins, such as abrin, ricin, staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB), and bungarotoxin (BGT), have been studied. Multivariate scattering correction (MSC), Savitzky–Golay smoothing (SG), and wavelet transform methods (WT) were applied to preprocess Raman spectra. A principal component analysis (PCA) was used to extract spectral features, and the PCA score plots clustered four toxins with two other proteins. The k-means clustering results show that the spectra processed with MSC and MSC-SG methods have the best classification performance. Then, the two data types were classified using partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) with an accuracy of 100%. The prediction results of the PCA and PLS-DA and the partial least squares regression model (PLSR) perform well for the fingerprint region spectra. The PLSR model demonstrates excellent classification and regression ability (accuracy = 100%, Rcv = 0.776). Four toxins were correctly classified with interference from two proteins. Classification models based on spectral feature extraction were established. This strategy shows excellent potential in toxin detection and public health protection. To comprehensively comprehend the spatiotemporal variations in pollution load within the Sixth Drainage Ditch of the Ningxia Yellow River Diversion Irrigation Area, we employed the LOADEST model. We utilized daily flow data and concentrations of ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), nitrate nitrogen (NO2-N), total nitrogen (TN), and total phosphorus (TP) to construct regression equations for the pollutant load at four distinct monitoring sections of the Sixth Drainage Ditch. The results unveiled an impressive range of correlation coefficients (R2) for the pollution load regression equations at the four monitoring sections, ranging from 72.42% to 94.4%. This indicates a strong fit for the pollution load regression equations, rendering them suitable for estimating the pollution load of the Sixth Drainage Ditch. Furthermore, the changing patterns of various pollutants in the same monitoring section exhibit a remarkable level of consistency. In each case, they initially experience an upward trajectory followed by a subsequent decrease. Notably, the total nitrogen (TN) load in the drainage area exceeds that of the total phosphorus (TP). The spatial distribution patterns of the total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) load within the Sixth Drainage Ditch exhibit a progressive increase from the upstream to downstream areas. Meanwhile, the spatial distribution characteristics of ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) and nitrate nitrogen (NO2-N) follow a similar pattern of an initial increase followed by a decrease. The aim of this study was to compare the properties of isolated starches from ten commonly consumed rice varieties in China and to investigate their possible association. In addition, principal component analysis (PCA) and correlation analysis were performed to demonstrate the weight or relevance of different properties. The starch granules had an irregular polyhedral structure. The crystalline structure had an orthogonal arrangement, which is characteristic of A-type starch with nanocrystals with an orthorhombic crystal structure. In addition, higher levels of rapidly digestible starch (72.43 to 74.32%) and resistant starch (2.27 to 2.3%) were found in glutinous rice starch. The highest content of slowly digestible starch (59.48%) was found in starch isolated from black rice, which may be an ideal rice variety for controlling blood glucose and weight. Starch isolated from red Hani terrace rice showed the highest thermal stability during cooking and the highest resistance to a high shear force treatment. In addition, the PCA suggests that the amylose content of starch largely determines the functional properties of starch and positively correlates with the peak viscosity and setback viscosity of the starch pasting. This study explored the effects of the sowing stage and nitrogen application rate on the grain yield and its allocation of light-temperature resources over a 9-year experiment from 2011 to 2019. Measurement indicators include the effective accumulative temperature on different growth durations, leaf area index (LAI), above-ground biomass production, and harvest index (HI). Methods: A split-plot design was arranged in the treatment, with N supply as the main plot and the sowing stage as the subplot. The main plots consisted of two nitrogen treatments: low nitrogen (LN: 120 kg ha−1) and high nitrogen (HN: 180 kg ha−1). The subplots contained two sowing stages: the early sowing stage (ES) and the late sowing stage (LS). Results: Compared with LNLS, LNES, and HNLS from 2011 to 2019, HNES of HHZ increased the grain yield by 9.5%, 2.5%, and 5.3%, while the difference in grain yield in YY8 was higher than HHZ, especially under HNES. Compared with LNLS, LNES, and HNLS from 2011 to 2019, HNES of HHZ increased the panicle number by 6.0%, 5.9%, and 1.0%, and HNES of YY8 increased by 12.7%, 11.4%, and 3.8%. Compared with HNLS of HHZ, LNES, LNLS, and HNES decreased the spikelets per panicle by 2.3%, 2.9%, and 1.1%, and decreased by 3.5%, 1.9%, and 2.2% in YY8. The early sowing or increasing N supply significantly increased the dry matter accumulated, grain weight, LAI, and HI. The higher grain yield in LNES was more closely related to the average temperature and the number of spikelets per panicle. The grain yield in HNES was more dependent on the effective accumulative temperature. Conclusions: Sowing in mid-May and increasing the N application (180 kg ha−1) are beneficial to the allocation of light temperature and the increase in yield. Facing the era of information explosion and the advent of artificial intelligence, there is a growing demand for information technologies with huge storage capacity and efficient computer processing. However, traditional silicon-based storage and computing technology will reach their limits and cannot meet the post-Moore information storage requirements of ultrasmall size, ultrahigh density, flexibility, biocompatibility, and recyclability. As a response to these concerns, polymer-based resistive memory materials have emerged as promising candidates for next-generation information storage and neuromorphic computing applications, with the advantages of easy molecular design, volatile and non-volatile storage, flexibility, and facile fabrication. Herein, we first summarize the memory device structures, memory effects, and memory mechanisms of polymers. Then, the recent advances in polymer resistive switching materials, including single-component polymers, polymer mixtures, 2D covalent polymers, and biomacromolecules for resistive memory devices, are highlighted. Finally, the challenges and future prospects of polymer memory materials and devices are discussed. Advances in polymer-based memristors will open new avenues in the design and integration of high-performance switching devices and facilitate their application in future information technology. Some photosensitive resins have poor mechanical properties after 3D printing. To overcome these limitations, a polyurethane acrylate oligomer (PUA) microsphere was prepared using the Pickering emulsion template method and ultraviolet (UV) curing technology in this paper. The prepared PUA microspheres were added to PUA-1,6-hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) photosensitive resin system for digital light processing (DLP) 3D printing technology. The preparation process of PUA microspheres was discussed based on micromorphology, and it was found that the oil-water ratio of the Pickering emulsion and the emulsification speed had a certain effect on the microsphere size. As the oil-water ratio and the emulsification speed increased, the microsphere particle size decreased to a certain extent. Adding a suitable proportion of PUA microspheres to the photosensitive resin can improve the mechanical properties and thermal stability. When the modified photosensitive resin microsphere content was 0.5%, the tensile strength, elongation at break, bending strength, and initial thermal decomposition temperature were increased by 79.14%, 47.26%, 26.69%, and 10.65%, respectively, compared with the unmodified photosensitive resin. This study provides a new way to improve the mechanical properties of photosensitive resin 3D printing. The combination of organic and inorganic materials has been considered an effective solution for achieving ambient thermoelectric energy harvesting and has been developing rapidly. Here, PEDOT:PSS/MWCNT (PPM) composite hydrogels were synthesized using the self-assembled gelation process of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) and the interaction between PEDOT:PSS and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) without the addition of any surfactant. After immersion in dimethyl sulfoxide and freeze-drying, the hydrogel is easily dispersed in water and used as a direct ink writing (DIW) 3D printing ink. At room temperature, the PPM-20 printed film with 20 wt% MWCNT solids achieved a maximum power factor of 7.37 μW m−1 K−2 and maintained stable thermoelectric properties during repeated bending cycles. On this basis, a thermoelectric generator (TEG) consisting of five legs was printed, which could be produced to generate an open circuit voltage of 6.4 mV and a maximum output power of 40.48 nW at a temperature gradient of 50 K, confirming its great potential for application in high-performance flexible organic/inorganic thermoelectric materials. A periodic intermittent adaptive control method with saturation is proposed to pin the quasi-consensus of nonlinear heterogeneous multi-agent systems with external disturbances in this paper. A new periodic intermittent adaptive control protocol with saturation is designed to control the internal coupling between the follower agents and the feedback gain between the leader and the follower. In particular, we use the saturation adaptive law: when the quasi-consensus error converges to a certain range, the adaptive coupling edge weight and the adaptive feedback gain will not be updated. Furthermore, we propose three saturated adaptive pinning control protocols. The quasi-consensus is achieved through its own pinning as long as the agents remain connected to each other. Using the Lyapunov function method and inequality technique, the convergence range of the quasi-consensus error of a heterogeneous multi-agent system is obtained. Finally, the rationality of the proposed control protocol is verified through numerical simulation. Theoretical derivation and simulation results show that the novel proposed periodic intermittent adaptive control method with saturation can successfully be used to achieve the pinning of quasi-consensus of nonlinear heterogeneous multi-agent systems. Due to the problems of relatively fragile stability, the quality of soil in the drip-irrigated agricultural ecosystem has high spatial heterogeneity and experiences significant degradation. We conducted a two-year field plot study (2021–2022) in a typical region of the arid zone with the "wolfberry" crop as the research object, with three irrigation and three nitrogen application levels, and the local conventional management as the control (CK). Soil quality under experimental conditioning was comprehensively evaluated based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), and regression analyses were carried out between the soil quality evaluation results and wolfberry yield. The results showed that short-term water and nitrogen regulation enhanced the soil nutrient content in the root zone of wolfberry to some extent, but it did not significantly affect soil carbon:soil nitrogen (Csoil:Nsoil), soil carbon:soil phosphorus (Csoil:Psoil), and soil nitrogen:soil phosphorus (Nsoil:Psoil). When the irrigation quota was increased from I1 to I2, the soil microbial biomass carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus (Cmic, Nmic, and Pmic) tended to increase with the increase in N application, but the microbial biomass carbon:nitrogen (Cmic:Nmic), microbial biomass carbon:phosphorus (Cmic:Pmic), and microbial biomass nitrogen:phosphorus (Nmic:Pmic) did not change significantly. The comprehensive evaluation of the principal components and TOPSIS showed that the combined soil nutrient–microbial biomass and its ecological stoichiometry characteristics were better under the coupled treatments of I2, I3, N2, and N3, and the overall soil quality under these treatment conditions was significantly better than that under the CK treatment. Under I1 irrigation, nitrogen application significantly increased the yield of wolfberry, while under I2 and I3 irrigation, the wolfberry yield showed a parabolic trend with the increase in nitrogen application. The highest yield was recorded in the I2N2 treatment in the first and second years, with yields of 9967 kg hm−2 and 10,604 kg hm−2, respectively. The coefficient of determination (explained quantity) of the soil quality based on soil nutrient–microbial biomass and the characteristics of its ecological stoichiometry for wolfberry yield ranged from 0.295 to 0.573. These findings indicated a limited positive effect of these indicators of soil on wolfberry yield. The short-term water and nitrogen regulation partly influenced the soil and soil microbial biomass in agroecosystems, but the effect on elemental balance was not significant. The objective of this study is to present a novel fragility analysis method that combines principal component analysis (PCA) and the K-means clustering algorithm for a probability assessment of seismic damage in high-pier bridges undergoing pulse-like ground motions. Firstly, the method uses the correlation coefficient and the condition number as judgment indices to eliminate those seismic intensity measures (IMs) with weak correlation and multicollinearity from all 29 of the initial candidate seismic IMs, the optimal combination of IMs that satisfies the requirements for the PCA method is determined. Secondly, the method utilizes PCA to reduce the dimensionality of the optimal combination of IMs to obtain the principal components, after which the K-means algorithm is applied to classify the original group of selected pulse-like ground motions into four classes. Thirdly, a 3D finite element model of the exemplary high-pier bridge is developed via OpenSees, while incremental nonlinear dynamic time-history analyses are conducted to record the maximum cross-section curvatures of high piers under the influence of various categories of ground motions. Finally, based on the analytical procedures used in the increment dynamic analysis (IDA) method, this study develops and compares the fragility curves for the various classes of pulse-like ground motions. The results indicate the necessity of utilizing the PCA and K-means approach for classifying pulse-like ground motions in the seismic fragility analysis of high-pier bridges. Previous studies have shown that coal-based solid waste can be utilized in combination with cement, silica fume, and other modified materials to create a cemented backfill material. However, traditional cemented backfill materials have poor mechanical properties, which may induce the emergence of mining pressure and trigger dynamic disaster under complex mining conditions. In this study, the nanocomposite fiber was used to modify the traditional cemented backfill materials and a new cemented backfill material was developed using coal-based solid waste, nanocomposite fiber and other materials. Specifically, coal gangue, fly ash, cement, and glass fibers were used as the basic materials, different mass fractions of nano-SiO2 were used to prepare cemented backfill materials, and the mechanical enhancement effect of the compressive strength, tensile strength, and shear strength of the modified materials was analyzed. The results show that when the nano-SiO2 dosage is 1%, the optimal compressive strength of the specimens at the curing age of 7 d can be obtained compared with cemented materials without nano-SiO2, and the compressive strength of the modified specimens raises by 84%; when the nano-SiO2 dosage is 1%, the optimal tensile strength and shear strengths of the modified specimens can be obtained at the curing age of 28 d, increasing by 82% and 142%. The results reveal that nanocomposite fibers can be used as additives to change the mechanical properties of cemented backfill materials made using coal-based solid waste. In the process of production, processing, transportation, and storage of edible oils, the oils inevitably come into contact with plastic products. As a result, plasticizers migrate into edible oils, are harmful to human health, and can exhibit reproductive toxicity. Therefore, the determination of plasticizers in edible oils is very important, and a series of sample preparation methods and determination techniques have been developed for the determination of plasticizers in edible oils. Phthalic acid ester (PAE) plasticizers are the most widely used among all plasticizers. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the sample preparation methods and detection techniques reported for the determination of PAEs in edible oils since 2010, focusing on sample preparation methods of edible oils combined with various separation-based analytical techniques, such as gas chromatography (GC) and liquid chromatography (LC) with different detectors. Studying the dynamic properties of rocks in complex environments is of great significance to the sustainable development of deep-sea metal mineral resource extraction. To investigate the influence of dry–wet cycles on the dynamic tensile properties and energy dissipation of red sandstone, a series of dynamic Brazilian disc tests was carried out through the split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) apparatus. The dynamic tensile behaviors and energy dissipation distribution of the red sandstone specimens after different dry–wet cycles (0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 cycles) were analyzed in this study. The degree of dynamic tensile fragmentation and energy dissipation of red sandstone is significantly affected by the loading rate. Specifically, when the number of dry–wet cycles remains constant, an increase in loading rate results in a significant reduction in the average fragment size, while the energy consumption density exhibits an approximately linear increase. At a fixed loading rate, the energy consumption density decreases approximately linearly with the increase in dry–wet cycles, and the higher the loading rate, the more sensitive the energy consumption density is to the dry–wet cycle. Coordination polymers (CPs) are organo-inorganic porous materials consisting of metal ions or clusters and organic linkers. These compounds have attracted attention for use in the fluorescence detection of pollutants. Here, two Zn-based mixed-ligand-bearing CPs, [Zn2(DIN)2(HBTC2−)2] (CP-1) and [Zn(DIN)(HBTC2−)]·ACN·H2O (CP-2) (DIN = 1,4-di(imidazole-1-yl)naphthalene, H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, and ACN = acetonitrile), were synthesized under solvothermal conditions. CP-1 and CP-2 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, elemental analysis, and powder X-ray diffraction analysis. Solid-state fluorescence analysis revealed an emission peak at 350 nm upon excitation at 225 and 290 nm. Fluorescence sensing tests showed that CP-1 was highly efficient, sensitive, and selective for detecting Cr2O72− at 225 and 290 nm, whereas I− was only detected well at an excitation of 225 nm. Organic-inorganic halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have attracted much attention in recent years due to their simple manufacturing process, low cost, and high efficiency. So far, all efficient organic-inorganic halide PSCs are mainly made of polycrystalline perovskite films. There are transmission barriers and high-density defects on the surface, interface, and grain boundary of the films. Among them, the deep-level traps caused by specific charged defects are the main non-radiative recombination centers, which is the most important factor in limiting the photoelectric conversion efficiency of PSCs devices to the Shockley-Queisser (S-Q) theoretical efficiency limit. Therefore, it is imperative to select appropriate passivation materials and passivation strategies to effectively eliminate defects in perovskite films to improve their photovoltaic performance and stability. There are various passivation strategies for different components of PSCs, including interface engineering, additive engineering, antisolvent engineering, dopant engineering, etc. In this review, we summarize a large number of defect passivation work to illustrate the latest progress of different types of passivators in regulating the morphology, grain boundary, grain size, charge recombination, and defect density of states of perovskite films. In addition, we discuss the inherent defects of key materials in carrier transporting layers and the corresponding passivation strategies to further optimize PSCs components. Since the global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), it has spread rapidly around the world. The nucleocapsid (N) protein is one of the most abundant SARS-CoV-2 proteins. Therefore, a sensitive and effective detection method for SARS-CoV-2 N protein is the focus of research. Here, we developed a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor based on the dual signal-amplification strategy of Au@Ag@Au nanoparticles (NPs) and graphene oxide (GO). Additionally, a sandwich immunoassay was utilized to sensitively and efficiently detect SARS-CoV-2 N protein. On the one hand, Au@Ag@Au NPs have a high refractive index and the capability to electromagnetically couple with the plasma waves propagating on the surface of gold film, which are harnessed for amplifying the SPR response signal. On the other hand, GO, which has the large specific surface area and the abundant oxygen-containing functional groups, could provide unique light absorption bands that can enhance plasmonic coupling to further amplify the SPR response signal. The proposed biosensor could efficiently detect SARS-CoV-2 N protein for 15 min and the detection limit for SARS-CoV-2 N protein was 0.083 ng/mL, with a linear range of 0.1 ng/mL~1000 ng/mL. The application of selenium (Se) can promote the growth of potatoes and increase the Se content of potato tubers. Nitrogen (N) can promote nutrient absorption and potato yield. However, the effects of Se and N on the yield and Se content of potato tubers have not been reported. Field experiments were conducted in 2019–2020 and 2020–2021. Three N levels, i.e., 0 kg N ha−1 (N0), 150 kg N ha−1 (N1) and 200 kg N ha−1 (N2), and three Se levels, i.e., 0 g Se ha−1 (Se0), 500 g Se ha−1 (Se1) and 1000 g Se ha−1 (Se2), were set up. Potato yield, root dry weight, root activity, leaf area index (LAI), net photosynthetic rate (Pn), malondialdehyde (MDA) content, antioxidant enzyme activity and Se content were investigated. N application increased root dry weight and activity, LAI, antioxidant enzymes activities, Se content and decreased MDA content. Pn, total potato yield and commercial potato yield first increased and then decreased with the increase in N application level. Se application increased root activity, Pn, antioxidant enzyme activities, total yield, commercial potato yield, commercial potato rate, Se content and decreased MDA content. In general, compared with the single application, the combination of N and Se fertilizers further promoted the growth of potatoes, increased the yield of potatoes and the Se content of potato pieces. River discharge monitoring is an important component of the hydrology objectives of Surface Water and Ocean Topography mission (SWOT). River discharge can be estimated Solely using river widths and At Many-stations Hydraulic Geometry (AMHG), but the accuracy is low due to the parameters of At a-station Hydraulic Geometry (AHG) given by AMHG deviate from the truth. In view of this, a Constrained At-Many-Stations Hydraulic Geometry (CAMHG) is proposed to optimize AHG parameters. The performance of CAMHG is verified in three reaches of the Yangtze River using river widths derived from SWOT. After using CAMHG, the relative root mean square error (RRMSE) of estimated discharge reduce 100.1% to 24.4%, 1137.1% to 49.9% and 48.6% to 45.5% for Hankou, Shashi and Luoshan respectively. In addition, CAMHG can also weaken the accuracy difference of estimated discharge in dry and wet seasons benefited from its more reliable AHG parameters. In this paper, a core-shell based on the Fe3O4@SiO2@Au nanoparticle amplification technique for a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor is proposed. Fe3O4@SiO2@AuNPs were used not only to amplify SPR signals, but also to rapidly separate and enrich T-2 toxin via an external magnetic field. We detected T-2 toxin using the direct competition method in order to evaluate the amplification effect of Fe3O4@SiO2@AuNPs. A T-2 toxin–protein conjugate (T2-OVA) immobilized on the surface of 3-mercaptopropionic acid-modified sensing film competed with T-2 toxin to combine with the T-2 toxin antibody–Fe3O4@SiO2@AuNPs conjugates (mAb-Fe3O4@SiO2@AuNPs) as signal amplification elements. With the decrease in T-2 toxin concentration, the SPR signal gradually increased. In other words, the SPR response was inversely proportional to T-2 toxin. The results showed that there was a good linear relationship in the range of 1 ng/mL~100 ng/mL, and the limit of detection was 0.57 ng/mL. In previous research, many scientists and researchers have carried out related studies about the spontaneous combustion of coal at both the micro and the macro scales. However, the macroscale study of coal clusters and piles cannot reveal the nature of oxidation and combustion, and the mesoscale study of coal molecule and functional groups cannot be directly applied to engineering practice. According to our literature survey, coal is a porous medium and its spontaneous combustion is a multi-scale process. Thus, the mesoscale study of coal's spontaneous combustion is essential. In this manuscript, the mesoscale of the coal body (such as pore size, pore volume, and specific surface area), and the meso-scale structural morphological characteristics of the coal surface are finely analyzed and characterized. On this basis, the meso-scale structure of pores and fractures are digitally reconstructed. Furthermore, velocity and pressure distributions of the flow field in the pores of the scan plane are outlined and described by numerical simulation. The results indicate that, because of the pore structure characteristics and fluid viscosity, not all fluids in the pores demonstrate flow. This conclusion well explains the source of CO gas in methane extraction pipes, which is one of the main index/indicator gases of the spontaneous combustion of coal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is a common life-threatening clinical syndrome which accounts for 10% of intensive care unit admissions. Since the Berlin definition was developed, the clinical diagnosis and therapy have changed dramatically by adding a minimum positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) to the assessment of hypoxemia compared to the American-European Consensus Conference (AECC) definition in 1994. Colorimetry is an important on-site detection method for organophosphorus compounds. O-Ethyl S-(2-diisopropylaminoethyl) methylphosphonothioate (VX) is recognized as one of the deadliest organophosphorus chemical agents, and the rapid on-site detection of VX is of great significance to public safety. In this paper, a squaraine derivative was synthesized as probe molecules, and the sensing characteristics of VX in a colorimetric solution system containing tetrabutylammonium fluoride (TABF) were studied with UV−Vis spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR), and mass spectrometry. The results showed that the binding of the thiol moiety of VX to the quaternary ring of the squaraine probe changed the molecular conjugation system, and that the rapid colorimetric detection of micro-trace VX was achieved based on color change before and after interaction with squaraine, enabling the detection limit of VX to be as low as 0.4 μg/mL. Moreover, the colorimetry method also possessed satisfactory sensitivity and could detect VX from other organophosphorus pesticides (e.g., parathion and dichlorvos), phosphorus-containing reagents (e.g., diethyl chlorophosphate and dimethyl methylphosphonate), a benzene series (e.g., toluene), and acid and base agents (e.g., acetic acid and triethylamine, respectively), which demonstrated that squaraine-based colorimetry could provide fast, on-site measurement results for VX detection. Polysaccharides are the main bioactive components in safflower. In this study, safflower polysaccharides (SPs) were extracted by ultrasonic assisted extraction, and four purified safflower polysaccharide fractions (named SSP1, SSP2, SSP3, and SSP4, respectively) were obtained. The physicochemical properties and in vitro physiological activities of the four fractions were investigated. The molecular weights (MW) of the SSPs were 38.03 kDa, 43.17 kDa, 54.49 kDa, and 76.92 kDa, respectively. Glucuronic acid, galactose acid, glucose, galactose, and arabinose were the main monosaccharides. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) indicated that the polysaccharides had α- and β-glycosidic bonds. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) analysis showed that SSP1 had 6 different types of glycosidic bonds, while SSP3 had 8 different types. SSP3 exhibited relatively higher ABTS+ scavenging activity, Fe+3-reduction activity, and antiproliferative activity. In wheat production, improving resource utilization and grain yield is the goal researcher have been pursuing. This study aimed to investigate if a regulated nitrogen (N) and selenium (Se) fertilizer management could increase wheat yield and N use efficiency (NUE). This study reports the effects of three N application levels (N0: 0 kg N ha−1, N1: 180 kg N ha−1, N2: 270 kg N ha−1) and a combination of three Se application levels (Se0: 0 g Se ha−1, Se1: 450 g Se ha−1, Se2: 900 g Se ha−1) on N metabolism, NUE and yield in wheat in 2020–2021. Compared with N0, wheat yield increased by 44.76% in N1 and by 54.32% in N2, and the activity of N-metabolizing enzymes increased by 25.15~35.03% in N1 and by 32.01~51.27% in N2. Compared with N1, the apparent recovery efficiency of N, the agronomic N use efficiency and the partial factor productivity of applied N decreased by 15.71%, 28.00% and 28.93% in N2, respectively. Compared with Se0, the 1000-grain weight increased by 3.93% in Se1 and by 4.87% in Se2, and the activity of nitrogen-metabolizing enzymes increased by 4.23~4.91% in Se1 and by 6.65~8.46% in Se2. Due to the large molecular weight and complex structure of Laminaria japonica polysaccharides (LJP), which limit their absorption and utilization by the body, methods to effectively degrade polysaccharides had received more and more attention. In the present research, hot water extraction coupled with three-phase partitioning (TPP) was developed to extract and isolate LJP. Ultrasonic L. japonica polysaccharides (ULJP) were obtained by ultrasonic degradation. In addition, their physicochemical characteristics and in vitro biological activities were investigated. Results indicated that ULJP had lower weight-average molecular weight (153 kDa) and looser surface morphology than the LJP. The primary structures of LJP and ULJP were basically unchanged, both contained α-hexo-pyranoses and were mainly connected by 1,4-glycosidic bonds. Compared with LJP, ULJP had stronger antioxidant activity, α-amylase inhibitory effect and anti-inflammatory effect on RAW264.7 macrophages. The scavenging rate of DPPH free radicals by ULJP is 35.85%. Therefore, ultrasonic degradation could effectively degrade LJP and significantly improve the biological activity of LJP, which provided a theoretical basis for the in-depth utilization and research and development of L. japonica in the fields of medicine and food. In search of sustainable strategies to improve employees' work engagement without harming their long-term performance in the VUCA era, this study examines the impact path of subordinate moqi on employees' work engagement based on leader–member exchange theory and organizational support theory. A total of 322 R&D staff from high-tech enterprises in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and other cities participated in the study. The data analysis reveals that the leader–member exchange partially mediates between subordinate moqi and work engagement. Moreover, both supervisor's organizational embodiment and perceived organizational support can positively moderate the impact of subordinate moqi on leader–member exchange. The empirical results enrich the intermediary mechanism between subordinate moqi and work engagement. Employees with subordinate moqi have better chances of meeting their supervisors' implicit expectations, leading to a higher relationship quality with followers and increasing enthusiasm for work. The current study clarifies the theoretical and practical significance of subordinate moqi in establishing high-quality work relationships and sustainable development of organizations' human resources. Scope: The dysbiosis of intestinal microecology plays an important pathogenic role in the development of inflammatory bowel disease. Methods and Results: A polysaccharide named Fuc-S, with a molecular weight of 156 kDa, was prepared by the ultrasonic degradation of fucoidan. Monosaccharide composition, FTIR, methylation, and NMR spectral analysis indicated that Fuc-S may have a backbone consisting of →3)-α-L-Fucp-(1→, →4)-α-L-Fucp-(1→ and →3, 4)-α-D-Glcp-(1→. Moreover, male C57BL/6 mice were fed three cycles of 1.8% dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) for 5 days and then water for 7 days to induce colitis. The longitudinal microbiome alterations were evaluated using 16S amplicon sequencing. In vivo assays showed that Fuc-S significantly improved clinical manifestations, colon shortening, colon injury, and colonic inflammatory cell infiltration associated with DSS-induced chronic colitis in mice. Further studies revealed that these beneficial effects were associated with the inhibition of Akt, p-38, ERK, and JNK phosphorylation in the colon tissues, regulating the structure and abundance of the gut microbiota, and modulating the host–microbe tryptophan metabolism of the mice with chronic colitis. Conclusion: Our data confirmed the presence of glucose in the backbone of fucoidan and provided useful information that Fuc-S can be applied as an effective functional food and pharmaceutical candidate for IBD treatment. Multiple in vitro and in vivo model investigations have suggested a broad spectrum of potential mechanisms by which plant/macrofungi-derived non-starch polysaccharides may play a role in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This article reviews the in vivo and in vitro evidence of different plant-derived polysaccharides for IBD therapy. Their underlying mechanisms, particularly the molecular mechanisms associated with protective effects in the treatment and prevention of IDB, have been well summarized, including anti-inflammatory, epithelial barrier repair, and the regulation of intestinal flora. Emerging studies have observed the potent role of probiotics in IBD, particularly its ability to modulate gut microbiota, a well-known key factor for IBD. In summary, plant/macrofungi-derived polysaccharides have the potential to be a promising agent for the adjuvant treatment and prevention of IBD and will contribute to the design of well-designed clinical intervention trials that will ultimately improve the therapy of IBD. A sensitive dual-readout immunosensor for fluorescence and electrochemiluminescence (ECL) detection of ricin was established, which was combined with a streptavidin–biotin signal amplification system. CdSe/ZnS quantum dots with fine fluorescence and ECL properties were used as the dual-signal function probes of the sandwich immunocomplex. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the dual signal intensity increased significantly with the rise in ricin concentration. The fluorescence intensity of the senor exhibited a good liner relationship toward the ricin concentrations with 0.1~100 ng/mL and the limit of detection (LOD) was 81.7 pg/mL; taking ECL as the detection signal, the sensor showed a linear relationship with the ricin concentrations ranging from 0.01 ng/mL to 100 ng/mL and the LOD was 5.5 pg/mL. The constructed sensor with high sensitivity had been successfully applied to the detection of ricin in complex matrices with satisfactory recoveries. A quantitative structure–activity relationship (QSAR) model for the structure and affinity of abrin aptamers was established. A higher affinity abrin aptamer based on the established QSAR model was screened by site-directed mutagenesis. The fluorescence quenching effect between magnetic microspheres and fluorescent molecules was studied for the first time. A new method for abrin detection based on the interaction between target molecules and fluorescently labeled aptamers on magnetic microspheres was developed, with the detection limit of 5 ng mL−1. This method can overcome the influence of complex environmental interferents in abrin detection and can meet the analysis requirements for simulated samples such as water, soil, and food. This work evaluated the effect of different cooking methods (boiling, steaming, microwaving, frying and pressure cooking) on the nutrients, antioxidant activities, volatile and nonvolatile taste-active components of three varieties of Lentinus edodes (808, 0912 and LM) from Guizhou Province. The results showed that LM had the most polysaccharides, 0912 had the most minerals, but LM, 808 and 0912 had low amounts of polyphenols, dietary fiber and proteins, respectively. The dietary fiber and protein were decreased by 4.1~38.7% and 4.1~44.0% during cooking, while microwaving improved the nutritional value of the Lentinus edodes by increasing the polysaccharide (88~103 mg/g to 93~105 mg/g) and polyphenol content (6.4~8.1 mg/g to 7.5~11.2 mg/g), thereby strengthening the antioxidant activity. The nucleotides were all destroyed after cooking, especially frying or boiling. The glutamate content was the highest in LM and 808, and the methionine content appeared to be the highest in 0912. Pressure cooking and frying increased the proportions of sweet and umami amino acids and decreased the proportion of bitter amino acids, creating more aroma-active compounds. In summary, microwaving increased the content of bioactive compounds and antioxidant activities, and it preserved nonvolatile taste-active components, while pressure cooking and frying were the best methods for increasing the flavor compounds. High-accuracy temperature measurement plays a vital role in biomedical, oceanographic, and photovoltaic industries. Here, a highly sensitive temperature sensor is proposed and demonstrated based on cascaded polymer-infiltrated Mach–Zehnder interferometers (MZIs), operating near the dispersion turning point. The MZI was constructed by splicing a half-pitch graded index fiber (GIF) and two sections of single-mode fiber and creating an inner air cavity based on femtosecond laser micromachining. The UV-curable polymer-infiltrated air cavity functioned as one of the interference arms of MZI, and the residual GIF core functioned as the other. Two MZIs with different cavity lengths and infiltrated with the UV-curable polymers, having the refractive indexes on the different sides of the turning point, were created. Moreover, the effects of the length and the bending way of transmission SMF between the first and the second MZI were studied. As a result, the cascaded MZI temperature sensor exhibits a greatly enhanced temperature sensitivity of −24.86 nm/°C based on wavelength differential detection. We propose and demonstrate a novel high-temperature-resistant vector accelerometer, consisting of a ring cavity laser and sensing probe (i.e., fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs)) inscribed in a seven-core fiber (SCF) by using the femtosecond laser direct writing technique. A ring cavity laser serves as a light source. Three FBGs in the outer cores of SCF, which are not aligned in a straight line, are employed to test the vibration. These three FBGs have 120° angular separation in the SCF, and hence, vibration orientation and acceleration can be measured simultaneously. Moreover, the FBG in the central core was used as a reflector in the ring cavity laser, benefiting to resist external interference factors, such as temperature and strain fluctuation. Such a proposed accelerometer exhibits a working frequency bandwidth ranging from 4 to 68 Hz, a maximum sensitivity of 54.2 mV/g, and the best azimuthal angle accuracy of 0.21° over a range of 0–360°. Furthermore, we investigated the effect of strain and temperature on the performance of this sensor. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) only exhibits a fluctuation of ~1 dB in the range (0, 2289 με) and (50 °C, 1050 °C). In this study, soluble dietary fiber (SDF) and insoluble dietary fiber (IDF) were extracted from Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim pomace via three methods including enzymic extraction (EE), microwave-assisted enzymatic extraction (MEE), and three-phase partitioning (TPP). The effects of different extraction methods on the structure, physicochemical property, and functional activity of the extracted dietary fiber were evaluated. The results showed that different extraction methods had significant effects on the extraction yield, molecular weight distribution, thermal stability, antioxidant activity, and hypoglycemic activity in vitro, but resulted in no difference in the structure and composition of functional groups. It is noteworthy that SDF extracted by TPP has a more complex and porous structure, lower molecular weight, and higher thermal stability, as well as better physicochemical properties and in vitro hypoglycemic activity. IDF extracted by MEE showed the greatest water and oil holding capacity; the highest adsorption capacity for glucose, cholesterol, and nitrite ion; as well as the strongest inhibitory activity on α-amylase. While the detection of offshore ships in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images has been widely studied, inshore ship detection remains a challenging task. Due to the influence of speckle noise and the high similarity between onshore buildings and inshore ships, the traditional methods are unable to achieve effective detection for inshore ships. To improve the detection performance of inshore ships, we propose a novel saliency enhancement algorithm based on the difference of anisotropic pyramid (DoAP). Considering the limitations of IoU in small-target detection, we design a detection framework based on the proposed Bhattacharyya-like distance (BLD). First, the anisotropic pyramid of the SAR image is constructed by a bilateral filter (BF). Then, the differences between the finest two scales and the coarsest two scales are used to generate the saliency map, which can be used to enhance ship pixels and suppress background clutter. Finally, the BLD is used to replace IoU in label assignment and non-maximum suppression to overcome the limitations of IoU for small-target detection. We embed the DoAP into the BLD-based detection framework to detect inshore ships in large-scale SAR images. Polylactic acid (PLA) is expected to be widely used in green power equipment manufacturing due to its good mechanical properties and biodegradability. In this paper, the effects of MgO with different particle sizes and mass fractions on the thermal and electrical properties of PLA composites were studied. The experiment found that with the increase in MgO particle sizes and mass fractions, the thermal conductivity of MgO/PLA composites showed a rising trend, which was up to 165.4% higher than that of pure PLA. However, the heat resistance first increases and then decreases. For the electrical properties of MgO/PLA composites, the breakdown strength and volume resistivity decrease with an increase in MgO particle size and mass fraction. In order to further study the influence mechanism of the introduction of MgO with different particle sizes and mass fractions on the thermal and electrical properties of MgO/PLA composites, molecular dynamics simulation was used to simulate the glass transition temperature (Tg) of PLA composites doped with MgO of different particle sizes, and it was found that MgO doping weakened the movement of the PLA molecular chain segment. Using density functional theory (DFT) calculations, it was found that in the MgO and PLA system, electrons have a tendency to migrate from the PLA matrix to MgO, which causes the formation of electron traps at the inorganic–organic interface and affects its electrical properties. Abrin is a cytotoxin with strong lethality, which is a serious threat to human health and public safety, and thus, highly sensitive detection methods are urgently needed. The phage display affibody has two major modules, among which, the affibody fragment, with small molecular weight, high affinity and easy preparation, can be used for the specific recognition of the target, and the phage shell, with numerous protein copies, can be used as a carrier for the massive enrichment of signal molecules, and thus is particularly suitable as a sensitive probe for signal amplification in high-sensitivity biosensors. In this study, with antibody-coated magnetic microspheres as capture probes, Ru(bpy)32+ and biotin dual-labeled phage display affibodies as the specific signal probes and AuNPs@Ru(bpy)32+ (Ru(bpy)32+-coated gold nanoparticles) as the signal amplification nanomaterials, a new electrochemiluminescence (ECL) biosensor with a four-level sandwich structure of "magnetic capture probe-abrin-phage display affibody-AuNPs@Ru(bpy)32+" was constructed for abrin detection. In this detection mode, AuNPs@Ru(bpy)32+, a gold nanocomposite prepared rapidly via electrical interaction, contained an extremely high density of signal molecules, and the phage display affibodies with powerful loading capacity were not only labeled with Ru(bpy)32+, but also enriched with AuNPs@Ru(bpy)32+ in large amounts. These designs greatly improved the detection capability of the sensor, ultimately achieving the ultra-sensitive detection of abrin. The limit of detection (LOD) was 4.1 fg/mL (3δ/S), and the quantification range was from 5 fg/mL to 5 pg/mL. The sensor had good reproducibility and specificity and performed well in the test of simulated samples. This study expanded the application of affibodies in the field of biosensing and also deeply explored the signal amplification potential of phage display technology, which is of high value for the construction of simple and efficient sensors with high sensitivity. The present work is conducted to investigate the optimal extraction technology of polysaccharide from chestnut mushroom (Agrocybe aegerita) using a new method based on accelerated solvent extraction combined with response surface methodology (ASE-RSM). The conventional reflux extraction (CRE) method and ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) method were also carried out. Additionally, the in vitro antioxidant activities, including ABTS and DPPH assay, were evaluated. The RSM method, based on a three level and three variable Box–Behnken design (BBD), was developed to obtain the optimal combination of extraction conditions. In brief, the polysaccharide was optimally extracted with water as extraction solvent, extraction temperature of 71 °C, extraction time of 6.5 min, number of cycles of 3, and extraction pressure of 10 MPa. The 3D response surface plot and the contour plot derived from the mathematical models were applied to determine the optimal conditions. Under the above conditions, the experimental value of polysaccharide yield was 19.77 ± 0.12%, which is in close agreement with the value (19.81%) predicted by the model. These findings demonstrate that ASE-RSM produce much higher polysaccharide and consumed environmentally friendly extraction and solvent systems, have less extraction discrimination and shorter time and provide scientific basis for industrialization of polysaccharide extraction. Zircon Hf-isotopic mapping can be regarded as a useful tool for evaluating the coupling relationship between lithospheric structure and metallic mineralization. Hence, this method shows important significance for mineral prediction. To explore this potential, the published granite zircon Hf isotope data from the Sanjiang Tethyan Orogen were systematically compiled. This study uses the Kriging weighted interpolation in the Mapgis software system to contour Hf isotopes, revealing a relation between the crustal structure and metallogenesis. The mapping results suggest that the Changning–Menglian suture zone is the boundary between ancient and juvenile crust, viz., the western terranes have ancient crust attributes, whereas the eastern terranes exhibit the properties of new juvenile crust. In addition, this study also found that the mineralization and element types in the Sanjiang Tethyan Orogen have a coupling relationship with the crustal structure. The distribution of porphyry Cu-Mo-Au deposits is mainly controlled by the new juvenile crust, whereas the magmatic-hydrothermal Sn-W and porphyry Mo-W(-Cu) deposits are closely related to the reworked ancient crust. The results of zircon Hf isotope mapping prove that the formation and spatial distribution of deposits are related to the composition and properties of the crust. Conservation tillage is an environmentally friendly and economical farming method, but its impact on rice yield is controversial. Artificially applied side deep fertilizing of machine-transplanted rice is when fertilizer is applied to the deep soil along with the machine transplantation of rice; this may improve the fertilizer utilization rate and rice yield and eliminate the possible negative effects of conservation tillage on rice yield. Using on machine-transplanted rice, this study aims to compare the effects of side deep fertilizing (SDF). We investigated the effects of artificially applying fertilizer (AAF) on rice growth and yield under conventional tillage (CT), reduced tillage (RT), and no tillage (NT). The rice root activity, root dry weight, leaf area index (LAI), net photosynthetic rate (Pn), chlorophyll content, panicle density, spikelets per panicle, and yield were all ranked as NT > RT > CT and SDF > AAF. The 1000-grain weight was also ranked as SDF > AAF. In addition, under NT conditions, the positive effect of SDF on rice growth and yield was higher than under RT and CT conditions. To satisfy the need to develop highly sensitive methods for detecting the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus type 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and further enhance detection efficiency and capability, a new method was created for detecting SARS-CoV-2 of the open reading frames 1ab (ORF1ab) target gene by a electrochemiluminescence (ECL) biosensor based on dual-probe hybridization through the use of a detection model of "magnetic capture probes—targeted nucleic acids—Ru(bpy)32+ labeled signal probes". The detection model used magnetic particles coupled with a biotin-labeled complementary nucleic acid sequence of the SARS-CoV-2 ORF1ab target gene as the magnetic capture probes and Ru(bpy)32+ labeled amino modified another complementary nucleic acid sequence as the signal probes, which combined the advantages of the highly specific dual-probe hybridization and highly sensitive ECL biosensor technology. In the range of 0.1 fM~10 µM, the method made possible rapid and sensitive detection of the ORF1ab gene of the SARS-CoV-2 within 30 min, and the limit of detection (LOD) was 0.1 fM. The method can also meet the analytical requirements for simulated samples such as saliva and urine with the definite advantages of a simple operation without nucleic acid amplification, high sensitivity, reasonable reproducibility, and anti-interference solid abilities, expounding a new way for efficient and sensitive detection of SARS-CoV-2. Featured Application: The analysis of the fusion characteristics of gravity and magnetic fields has a certain significance for the prediction of strong earthquakes. The annual variation trend of the gravity and lithospheric magnetic field for adjacent periods are analyzed by using the observation of rover gravity and geomagnetic fields in Yunnan from 2011 to 2021, which tend to be consistent every year during the seismogenic process of a strong earthquake. Thus, this study normalizes the annual value of the adjacent periods for the gravity and lithospheric magnetic field. The normalized values are converted into two classifications that can be compared within [−1,1]. In Yunnan Province, a grid of 0.1° × 0.1° was used to compare the data correlation between the variation of gravity and the variation in the lithospheric magnetic field at the same location. The results are as follows. First, the variation trend of the gravity field and total magnetic field tend to be synchronous year to year in strong earthquake years. The range of consistency increases gradually with the approach of the earthquake year reaching its maximum one year before the earthquake. Throughout the region, the overlap number of normalized annual variations in gravity and magnetic field reaches its maximum, and the peak difference of kernel density curve reaches its minimum. Second, the correlation coefficient of the annual variation in the gravity and magnetic field increases year to year during the development of a strong earthquake within a smaller region surrounding the event. The maximum appears one year before the earthquake, and after the earthquake, the correlation decreases. Respiration rate is an essential vital sign that requires monitoring under various conditions, including in strong electromagnetic environments such as in magnetic resonance imaging systems. To provide an electromagnetically-immune breath-sensing system, we propose an all-fiber-optic wearable breath sensor based on a fiber-tip microcantilever. The microcantilever was fabricated on a fiber-tip by two-photon polymerization microfabrication based on femtosecond laser, so that a micro Fabry–Pérot (FP) interferometer was formed between the microcantilever and the end-face of the fiber. The cavity length of the micro FP interferometer was reduced as a result of the bending of the microcantilever induced by breath airflow. The signal of breath rate was rebuilt by detecting power variations of the FP interferometer reflected light and applying dynamic thresholds. The breath sensor achieved a high sensitivity of 0.8 nm/(m/s) by detecting the reflection spectrum upon applied flow velocities from 0.53 to 5.31 m/s. This sensor was also shown to have excellent thermal stability as its cross-sensitivity of airflow with respect to the temperature response was only 0.095 (m/s)/°C. When mounted inside a wearable surgical mask, the sensor demonstrated the capability to detect various breath patterns, including normal, fast, random, and deep breaths. This study aims to provide fundamental knowledge for the use of black goji berry and determine the optimum process parameters that produce maximum phenolics from black goji berry through accelerated solvent extraction (ASE). The optimal extractions of phenolics and antioxidants from black goji were explored via the ASE techniques, applying the response surface methodology (RSM) design. After reaching the optimal conditions for single factors, the optimal ASE extraction conditions were found through a total of 17 runs following the Box-Behnken design (BBD) from RSM. The maximum yield of total phenolic content (TPC) was 17.92 mg GAE/g under the best extraction conditions: an extraction temperature of 89.38 °C, an ethanol concentration of 70% and an extraction time of 13 min. This study indicates that the optimal extraction conditions could serve as the scientific basis for scaled-up industrial production.
