In a period of accelerated urban transformation, there are certain types of heritage that are currently vulnerable due to the social strata or historical period they represent. Many of the buildings that make up the Historic Centre of the Central District of Honduras (HCCD) face this threat. This paper aims to identify and characterise the HCCD built heritage from a broader perspective considering emerging heritage that is linked to modernity and everyday life. To this end, a review was carried out of the heritage protection registers in the Honduran Inventory of Immovable Cultural Assets (PIBICH) and other available tools such as the Catalogue of the Master Plan (CMP) and citizen perceptions. The methodology characterises heritage assets in a new format by historical era and by type. Data related to citizen perceptions, an asset's conservation and ownership status were then analysed before a final comparison was carried out between the PIBICH and the CMP. The results generate a constructive and clarifying reflection on the policy documents. The CMP generates a more inclusive, innovative and sustainable vision of heritage and reveals the need for new heritage protection with broader historical and conceptual perspectives, as well as the participation of wider range of stakeholders. The purpose of this paper is to suggest that cataloguing community could benefit by publishing the catalogue records on the cloud using BIBFRAME model with its vocabularies to increase access of the library collection beyond the library. A desk research based on literature review extracted from different information sources. Literature was interpreted based on the search of the researcher on key concepts of the topic. Literature indicates that the establishments that publishes their catalogue on the cloud receive more exposure. AbstractThis paper examines the University of Sydney Library’s development and piloting of a methodology to survey its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural collections, to enhance catalogue metadata and allow culturally sensitive material to be identified and protected. The research falls broadly within the interpretivist epistemology and draws methodologically on Participative Action Research. The pilot survey was conducted using a qualitative, collection-based approach, more specifically Direct Collection Analysis. A broad syntax was used to identify cultural content within the catalogue metadata, and items individually examined to determine the nature of their contents. The findings surface the benefits and shortcomings of the initial methodology. It is recommended future surveys be conducted using more specific terminology checklists and undertaken by a dedicated team that has received care and handling training for cultural materials and is led by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander expert in cultural collections. A catalogue of the species of Platylabini from the south-eastern United States is presented, with an updated list of the species, a review of their distribution, and the first illustrated key to the genera and species. Cyclolabus gracilicornis gracilicornis (Provancher, 1886) is newly recorded for the province of Nova Scotia (Canada), while eight species are recorded for the first time for the following US states: Amboplisus ornatus (Cresson, 1868) for Georgia; Asthenolabus canadensis (Cresson, 1877) for West Virginia; Linycus exhortator thoracicus (Cresson, 1864) for Virginia, Neolinycus michaelis Heinrich, 1971 for Florida; Platylabus clarus (Cresson, 1867) for Alabama, Virginia and West Virginia; Platylabus opaculus americanus Heinrich, 1962 for North Carolina; Probolus detritus (Brullé, 1846) and Tropicolabus foxi (Davis, 1898) for Florida. Based on newly discovered and already published material, a new subspecies synonym has been recognised: Neolinycus michaelis arkansae Heinrich 1975 is regarded as a junior synonym of Neolinycus michaelis michaelis Heinrich, 1971, and the previous subspecies synonymy that regarded Neolinycus michaelis georgianus Heinrich, 1972 as a junior synonym of the nominate subspecies has been confirmed and explained. The female of Tropicolabus foxi is described for the first time, marking the first record of the species since its original description. Nomenclatural notes and extensive comments for each species are provided, as well as a key to the tribes of Ichneumoninae of North America, and to the genera and species of Platylabini from the south-eastern United States. This article examines the role of Swedish mail-order catalogues in the everyday life of the early twentieth century, and in the development of consumer culture. The study deals with the materiality, content and distribution of the mail-order catalogues as well as their use in everyday life. The case of Åhlén & Holm, a major Swedish mail-order company, and its audience is relevant beyond the national context, since it demonstrates how extensive distribution of and interaction with commercial media can induce a crucial societal change such as the development of consumer culture. Arguing for a 'media history from below', the source material consists of responses to a qualitative questionnaire, besides catalogues and other material from the company archive. The result shows that the mediated encounter with Åhlén & Holm provided its audience with a commercial literacy that entailed both an emancipation from the economic, geographical and social constraints of everyday life and a confinement in a commercial world. The genus Byrsopolis Burmeister, 1844 is revised and six Brazilian species are described as new: Byrsopolis angeloottatii sp. nov. (Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul), B. schmidti sp. nov. (Barreiras, Bahia), B. burmeisteri sp. nov. (Cantareira, São Paulo), B. vazdemelloi sp. nov. (Barra do Bugres, Mato Grosso), B. ohausi sp. nov. (Grão Mogol, Minas Gerais) and B. blanchardi sp. nov. (Encruzilhada, Bahia). Lectotypes are designated for B. castanea Burmeister, 1844, B. laticollis Burmeister, 1855, and B. cribricollis Ohaus, 1912. A new synonym is proposed: Byrsopolis aenescens Ohaus, 1926 = B. chassaini Soula, 2010 (syn. nov.). The genus is diagnosed, and all the species are illustrated and compared. The previously published key to genera of Areodina has been updated with the new diagnosis after the revision of Bysropolis. Additionally, an identification key to species of Byrsopolis is provided, with similar characters we made species groups to better identify them, as well as an up-to-date checklist of South American Areodina. Recent years have seen a very large rise in digitisation projects in various state-administered archives in India, including the National Archives of India and regional archives in different parts of the country. This essay argues that rather than increasing access and transparency, digitisation serves to reproduce and potentially even increase state control over historical sources and memory. In addition, the elision of context in digitised collections in state archives poses problems for historical research, particularly for scholars from less privileged institutions. It is imperative that these efforts go beyond an understanding of digitisation as conservation alone in order to harness the creative and pedagogical possibilities offered by digital technology to influence, and even transform, the historical scholarship of a wide variety of users. The RAI music archive, located at the "A. Toscanini" Auditorium of Turin (Italy), contains five different types of documents: a valuable collection of rare, autographed manuscripts (letters and scores); printed music of symphonic and entertainment repertoire; a historical collection of opera librettos; an enormous corpus of arrangements for radiophonic orchestras; and the collection of concert programmes from the nineteen-fifties to the present. All of this material, practically unknown to the musicological community, was catalogued according to internationally adopted standards and has been the subject of a partial digitization. The collected information is now accessible on line (www.osn.teche. rai.it), thanks to the digital intervention of Rai Teche experts. The on line publication of the catalogued records made possible studies in various fields: the philological analysis and historical contextualization of the manuscripts preserved in the "Autographs and Rare Manuscripts" fund; a research on the repertoire of the arrangements for radiophonic orchestras; a complete history of Rai concerts performed in Turin; a series of studies about the activities of the RAI orchestras. Tachinid flies are well known as being parasitoids of arthropods, mostly insects. Because of this, there is great economic interest in the biological control of pests using tachinids. Host records for Tachinidae, however, are still scarce, especially in the Neotropical region. A new species of the Neotropical genus Leptostylum Macquart was reared from Automeris naranja Schaus (Lepidoptera: Saturniidae), a new host record, in Jundiaí, São Paulo, Brazil. Leptostylum oligothrix Gudin and Messas sp. nov. is herein described, including diagnosis and the first illustration of female terminalia for the genus. The Petlab database is New Zealand’s online national rock and analytical database, and provides an accessible, structured and permanent data repository for the local and global geoscience communities. The database contains locations, descriptions and analyses of rock and mineral samples from onland New Zealand, the offshore New Zealand region, Antarctica and worldwide. It is operated by GNS Science and, as a nationally significant database, currently receives core funding from central government. The major data contributors are GNS Science and Auckland, Massey, Waikato, Victoria, Canterbury and Otago universities, all of whom use the database as a digital catalogue for their rock and mineral collections.
