The article reports developments in the library sector worldwide as of October 2015. It cites the British Library (BL) project for the digitization of rare Hebrew manuscripts. The project is financed by the National Library of Israel (NLI) and the Friedberg Jewish Manuscript Society (FJMS). Also cited are the copyright protection law in Jamaica and the creation by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) of a preservation and conservation center in Sri Lanka.
