This Article, The Position of The Tamils of Pondicherry during the French rule, which deals with the short stories of Vishwasan, who is one of the most important tamil short story creators, is based on the short stories of The Cycle, Security, Brother Oro and Business of The Universe. It also examines the difficulties faced by the inequalities of caste and religion and the racist activities of the French rulers, especially when Pondicherry was under the control of the French in the 16th and 19th centuries. This article also deals with the tragic history of the exile of tamil people by using their ignorance and poverty to foreign countries for tea plantation industries.

The poems of women poets have recently gone beyond the status of talking about women's life through feminist ideas and speaking of women's liberation. Some people's writings arise based on feminist theoretical definitions. There are differences between theoretical ideas naturally within a work and the creation of a work standing within the theory. If a work is created based solely on theory, it can distort creativity itself. But there are two different conditions, including this tendency, in the poems of modern women poets. They vary depending on the understanding of the poets. This article deals with feminism in the poetic tendencies of contemporary women poets like Lena Manimegalai, Vijayalakshmi, Kuttirevathi, Sugirdharani and others.

Shobashakti is one of the most important migrant creators of today's Eelam. He has created novels including Gorilla, M and BOX. This paper deals with BOX. The new day brings to the fore the geological and social and historical references to the village of Palankulam, the central domain of the story, and the various war-related situations of Eelam. This study reveals them critically. Moreover, the story is told under a separate title from Mayyakakatha to Forty in the novel. In addition, the final version of the story has been set up. Under some headings subsection symmesis sub-copies 1 and 2 are also included. The subsection of the subcopies is centered on the statement of the characters and the textual record of the heart queen and the text language record of Roman Bhaktadas are the new techniques and methods in the new system. They are also discussed in the article.

Unable to cope with the brutal Sinhala aggression against Tamils ​​in Eelam, the Eelam Tamils ​​emigrated to foreign lands in an attempt to uplift their language, art, literature and culture in the countries where they had settled for survival. As a result, they established Tamil schools in the countries where they lived and celebrated the festivals of the Tamils ​​such as Pongal festival and Deepavali festival, the spiritual festival of Murugan Kavadi dance festivel. During these festivals, the Tamil arts such as drama, silambam, oyil and kummi are performed with great diligence. In that sense, this article sets out to explore the way the Tamil diaspora promotes Tamil culture through their arts.

Contemporary Tamil novels depict human life in different dimensions with aesthetic fineness, depending on some theories, in the background of countries such as Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, etc., and also the places of refuge and diaspora. Here, we mark Sri Lankan Tamil novels, that the writer should belong to Sri Lanka. He may live in some other diasporic country. Even when they write from any of the diasporic countries like France, Canada, Denmark, Australia, etc., one could observe the smell of flesh and blood of their motherland. We can point out Shobha Shakthi’s – Gorilla, m, box; Tamil Nadhi’s- Parthenium; Tamil Kavi’s –Uuzhi kaalam; Jeevakumar’s –kudhitrai vaahanam.

Asset owners responsible for the management and maintenance of bridges value the collection of data that can be processed into useful information to inform decisions about future management of structures. Installing, powering and receiving data from sensors is not always convenient or possible, but satellite monitoring may provide the ability to measure bridge movements and thus provide an indication of potential problems for asset owners to take action on. This study presents the results of satellite monitoring of the Hammersmith flyover, London, UK, using the interferometric synthetic-aperture radar (InSAR) technique. Sentinel-1 (free) and Cosmo-SkyMed (commercial) satellite radar data were processed to provide millimetre-scale measurements of the flyover and surrounding region and validated with in situ sensor measurements. A method was developed for selecting and comparing InSAR measurements with in situ displacement and temperature measurements, making use of bridge geometrical and structural modelling information. The results compare in situ sensor measurements with remote InSAR measurements and show the suitability of such measurements in measuring thermal expansion for some (but not all) bridge assets. The proposed techniques, illustrated with the case study of the Hammersmith flyover, will enable asset owners to collect regular measurements of bridge movements to complement and add value to current inspection methods and potentially give early warning to defective bridge bearings.

This article examines advances in interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) satellite measurement technologies to understand their relevance, utilization, and limitations for bridge monitoring. Waterloo Bridge is presented as a case study to explore how InSAR data sets can be combined with traditional measurement techniques including sensors installed on the bridge and automated total stations. A novel approach to InSAR bridge monitoring was adopted by the installation of physical reflectors at key points of structural interest on the bridge, in order to supplement the bridge’s own reflection characteristics and ensure that the InSAR measurements could be directly compared and combined with in situ measurements. The interpretation and integration of InSAR data sets with civil infrastructure data are more than a trivial task, and a discussion of uncertainty of measurement data is presented. Finally, a strategy for combining and interpreting varied data from multiple sources to provide useful insights into each of these methods is presented, outlining the practical applications of this data analysis to support wider monitoring strategies.

The implementation of decentralised wastewater treatment systems, such as biodigesters, septic tanks and treatment ponds, provides opportunities for rural or remote communities to be self-reliant and avoid infrastructural connections to faraway urban areas. However, the effectiveness, sustainability and success of such systems is heavily tied to understanding the overall context (geographical, social, cultural, political and economic) in which they are installed, as well as the ease of their operation and maintenance in the long term. Shortcomings to addressing these aspects can lead to the failure of a project. Using the town of Lobitos, located in the Piura District on the northern coast of Peru, as the case study for this research, this paper is discussing and analysing the use of biodigesters as a more sustainable solution over larger municipal wastewater systems in the context of Lobitos. It explains reasons, such as community engagement, behind past failures of such systems and outlines lessons learned from a practitioner’s perspective. It concludes that addressing the local context as well as considering its impact throughout the project cycle, such as installation and future operation and maintenance, helps to ensure continued delivery of safe and sustainable wastewater treatment.
