Ono što se nameće kao logično rješenje i logičan slijed događaja je uspostavljanje post-COVID globalnog poretka, a ne novog globalnog poretka, In the post-Cold War period, the main security challenges were redefined, among which those of a non-traditional nature, such as cyber-attacks, terrorism, corruption, but also pandemics which began to stand out more. At the beginning of 2020, the issue of a pandemic came to the fore because Covid-19 imposed a new normal and a new reality. The spread of corona virus around the world has led to the closure of borders at regional and international level, which is best seen in the example of the European Union and Schengen. Accordingly, many countries establish lockdowns, which affected their economies in the worst possible way. Also, many important international institutions have failed when corona virus started to spread around the world. Therefore, countries have begun to invest great efforts and resources in finding vaccines. Hence, the aim of this research is to examine the possible consequences of the corona virus pandemic on geopolitical rearrangement on the international scene. Also, part of this research is based on American-Chinese relations, European union and position of Croatia as a European union member state and small country during pandemic. The main conclusions of this paper is relate to the confirmation of the primary role of states in international relations and in the border management process. What emerges as a logical solution and logical sequence of events that occurred in 2020 and 2021 is the establishment of a post-COVID global order, not a new global order
