Abstract

The article discusses that genetic abnormalities have significantly contributed to disease stratification in B‐ALL. It mentions the detection of iAMP21 can easily be achieved by multiplex ligation‐dependent probe amplification (MLPA); and also mentions that iAMP21 is reported to be a primary genetic event in B‐ALL subgroup arising due to complex structural rearrangements and is associated with a dismal outcome.
