This scientific paper addresses the importance of water treatment process until it becomes drinkable, studying the treatment process from different points of view that are considered to be relevant. The choice of this subject was motivated by the water consumption importance for the entire population, the scientific paper proposing to study in what way this water treatment process could be improved, using for analysis two methods of experimental statistical modeling, namely the Taguchi's method and the factorial experiment method. The purpose of this scientific paper was to identify the deficiencies of the water treatment process after it entered the treatment plant and analyze is carried out using the two mentioned methods above, were continued by finding optimization solutions for the process. These solutions are intended to avoid the situations in which the treatment plant may be unable to cover the required volume of drinking water and to ensure the quality of the drinking water supplied to consumers according to the legislation to date. The knowledge benefit of this research consists in the realization of the research intentions formulated and the practical applicability of the results.

To ensure customer satisfaction, the products made by aviation, space and defense organizations need to be continuously improved from the point of view of safety, security, reliability and maintainability. The improvement goal is to be at the customers' requirements and legislations level, if not even to overcome it. The occurring problem with the final products is the challenge to ensure their quality in a shorter time. In this research the importance of implementing the APQP concept in the aeronautical industry is highlighted. To achieve this purpose, the methodologies needed to ensure that the product development processes of the aviation, space and defense industry are fully integrated processes ranging from concept and design to planning, manufacturing and production, aiming the product good use, a quality service and finally getting a positive customer feedback. The final goal of this concept implementing is the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), which is actually the main result of APQP confirming that the manufacturing process has demonstrated the potential to achieve products that consistently fulfil absolutely all the expressed and not expressed customer requirements.

The organization functions are: research-development, production, commercial, financial-accounting, personnel and quality. In this paper the factorial experimental method will be applied, which is currently one of the most widespread methods used in the research-development departments of the organizations, due to its advantages and efficiency. The experiment was carried out at SC Coifer Impex SRL-Mirsa’s metal structures factory. In this paper it is presented the factors modelling that exerts their influence on two objectives functions: the ensuring the nominal thickness of the rough-cast film and the consumption limiting. For data processing the STATISTICA 7 software was used which provides an accurately and effectively way to determine the influence degree of each variable on the settled objectives.

The paper presents a series of contributions on the possibility of implementing intellectual property policies in a Romanian State University. Starting with the worldwide, well-known examples of universities with a tradition in this field of intellectual property protection, the paper presents practical solutions for the implementation of some intellectual property policies taking into account the mentality which currently exists in Romania on this subject. The study is based on the important experience gained by authors in a European research project involving 15 partners from 9 countries, where the results were remarkable. The University must represent a pole of excellence in research, but also take into account the modalities for implementing and then applying intellectual property policies recommended by the Word Intellectual Property Organization. The conclusions lead to tangible results that undoubtedly highlight certain proposals to improve the way in which Intellectual property as a concept is viewed, accepted, implemented and used, but also the possibility of implementing an intellectual property management in a Romanian State University. The knowledge based economy entails more and more the intangible assets as a main tendency in the actual times. In the new economy, what counts is the model of thinking and the creation, which represent the key of the competition. The property of the ideas and the way one turns to advantage the economic potential of these, are the factors that bear more and more upon the future of the organizations and of companies, and this is also the one that gives the competitive advantage on the market. In this paper we have as a purpose framing the importance of innovation within the organizations, the problems that the managers confront during this process and also to present an evaluation model of the intangible assets in order to meet the organizations that need financing. "Green economy" becomes more and more utilized worldwide being defined also as a process and objective. The new economic paradigm of ecoeconomy introduced a new concept, namely eco development or sustainable development that is growing worldwide. While non renewable resources reduced, in the last years an increasing number of countries have adopted measures to implement the concept of sustainable development. At the micro level it can be noticed also that an growing number of organizations chose to activate under the paradigm of "green economy". Regardless if we refer to micro or macro level the leaders understand the need of infrastructure investment, equipment and technologies that will protect the environment but also will promote social responsibility activities. This paper attempts to provide a solution to the problem faced by a particular company when manufacturing bag handles, i.e. explain the embellishments that occur on the edges of the handles. In order to achieve this we have implemented the Taguchi method, a highly efficient method with practical applicability. The main causes that may lead to embellishments are: humidity, heat and the pressure used when dying, as well as the pressure resulting from sawing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
