The protection of historical and cultural heritage sites is the main focus of land space planning and use control. Its protection and utilization are important for promoting the revitalization of rural culture and building a pattern of historical and cultural protection, and are essential for the research on comprehensive land consolidation in recent years. The historical trail of South China is a linear cultural heritage site of Guangdong's historical development. Exploring the connotative relationship between comprehensive land consolidation and the protection and utilization of linear cultural heritage is conducive to enhancing their synergy and superposition. This study begins with a connotation analysis and trend analysis of comprehensive land consolidation and linear cultural heritage protection and utilization, taking the connecting line of the Gutian section of the ancient Meiguan historical trail of the Southern China historical trail in Guangdong Province as an example to explore the working relationship between comprehensive land consolidation and the protection and utilization of linear cultural heritage. It proposes a comprehensive land consolidation path for linear cultural heritage protection and utilization. Results showed that: 1) The problems faced by the protection of historical trails were closely related to the goal and content of comprehensive land consolidation; 2) The protection of historical trails and the comprehensive land consolidation could be integrated into the implementation of land space planning, rights and interests protection, policy incentives, public participation and landscape coordination to jointly promote the enhancement of land space value; 3) Focusing on the dimensions of development orientation, planning layout, engineering design, overall planning funds and service operation, it is necessary to constantly innovate the path of comprehensive land improvement across the region, and comprehensively promote the protection and utilization of rural cultural heritage. Guangdong Province can fully utilize the platform tools of comprehensive land consolidation in the protection of South China historical trail, achieve the connection and integration of ancient cultural protection and utilization with land consolidation projects, and establish a mutual feedback relationship in work, innovate and establish a working mechanism for the integration and development of comprehensive land consolidation and historical trail protection, which is conducive to the synergistic effect of rural revitalization and historical and cultural protection, better service and support for rural revitalization and high-quality development.

Abstract Identification of unknown cadavers is an important task for forensic scientists. Forensic scientists attempt to identify skeletal remains based on factors including age, sex, and dental treatment remains. Forensic scientists commonly consider skull or pelvic shape to evaluate the sex; however, these evaluations require sufficient experience and knowledge and lack objectivity and reproducibility. To ensure objectivity and reproducibility for sex evaluation, we applied a gated attention-based multiple-instance learning model to three-dimensional (3D) skull images reconstructed from postmortem head computed tomography scans. We preprocessed the images, trained with 864 training data, validated the model with 124 validation data, and evaluated the performance of our model in terms of accuracy with 246 test data. Furthermore, three forensic scientists evaluated the 3D skull images, and their performances were compared with those of the model. Our model showed an accuracy of 0.93, which was higher than that of the forensic scientists. Our model primarily focused on the entire skull owing to visualization but focused less on the areas often investigated by forensic scientists. In summary, our model may serve as a supportive tool to identify cadaver sex based on skull shape. Further studies are required to improve the model’s performance.

The article begins by exploring the emotional design of brands in various categories and proposes a mathematical morphological visual perceptual machine model to implement emotional design. The model constructs a mathematical model capable of capturing and expressing emotional features through numerical sets. Point sets and images, and basic operations in image algebra. Finally, the influence of the applicable fields of brand digital art design, personal emotional needs, and personal experience needs on brand choice is analyzed. The entertainment industry and the Internet industry account for the largest share, each accounting for 30% and 29%, respectively. The influence of personal emotion on choosing a brand is more than 0.8, and the influence of personal experience on choosing a product is more than 0.6. The research results of this paper have certain practical and theoretical significance for the development of brand digital art design.

The development of the fit between constructivist teaching theory and foreign language teaching is explored to improve learners’ language proficiency and comprehensive application skills effectively. This paper discusses a constructivist teaching model in the Internet era, using the fruit fly algorithm to optimize the kernel function of support vector machines and then constructing an FOA-SVM classification analysis model. The FOA-SVM model was used to analyze the fit data of the foreign language culture introduction teaching model based on constructivist teaching theory, including teaching principles and teaching practices. Regarding teaching principles, 55.69% of the students thought that the appropriateness principle was the best for the constructivist teaching theory to fit foreign language teaching. In terms of teaching practice, students’ learning attitude, learning initiative, learning ability, language ability, and application ability increased by 65.55%, 71.94%, 62.23%, 62.22%, and 78.42%, respectively. This shows that the integration and development of constructivist teaching theory and foreign language teaching should be based on the principle of appropriateness, and the use of a foreign language culture introduction mode of teaching is conducive to improving students’ learning attitudes and initiatives.

The implementation and operation of the “Curriculum for Education” is an important medium and carrier for nurturing the in-depth learning literacy of postgraduates, especially the implementation and operation of the principle courses provide an important platform and guarantee for cultivating the principle thinking of M.Ed. Combined with the analysis of research data, this paper finds that (1) the learning pattern of M.Ed. courses has the characteristics and practical characteristics of openness, initiative and self-adaptability. (2) The practical framework for constructing the learning pattern of the M.Ed. programme consists of two modules that lay out progressive learning tasks that point to “academic competence in the curriculum” and “practical competence in teaching”. (3) Guiding M.Ed. students to participate in course evaluation and promoting the formation of M.Ed. learning experiences are the core mechanisms of M.Ed. course learning patterns in practice.

Ketoacidosis is one of the common diseases that sometimes result in death. In forensic autopsy cases, the measuring of ketone bodies, especially β-hydroxybutyrate (BHB), is useful in diagnosing postmortem ketoacidosis as a cause of death. However, increased BHB values are not always indicative of ketoacidosis. Other causes of death, such as hypothermia, are known to increase BHB values. In addition, sometimes, we experience cases of increased BHB values that are unlikely to be associated with the pathophysiology or the cause of death resulting in an increase in BHB values. In this study, autopsies were performed to determine the relationship between blood BHB values and the postmortem interval (PMI). The patients were divided into four groups: PMI ≤ 24 h, PMI ≤ 48 h, PMI ≤ 72 h, and PMI > 72 h. The BHB values for each group were then compared. Based on the analysis, patients with a PMI ≤ 72 h and those with a PMI > 72 h had significantly higher BHB values than patients with a PMI ≤ 24 h. In conclusion, there remains a possibility that the BHB values increase after death. Forensic pathologists should consider PMI when diagnosing ketoacidosis as the cause of death.

In the current work, calcium silicate (CaSiO3) was blended with the poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA) to prepare the PLLA/CaSiO3 composites, and the crystallization process, melting process and thermal decomposition behavior of PLLA/CaSiO3 composites were studied. The promoting effect of CaSiO3 on the crystallization of PLLA was proved by the melt-crystallization, and the CaSiO3 content was a crucial factor to the crystallization behavior of PLLA. The crystallization temperature significantly affected the melting behavior of PLLA, and the double melting peaks degenerated into the single melting peak with the increasing of crystallization temperature from 90 °C to 130 °C. Additionally, for a given PLLA/CaSiO3 sample, the different melting processes in heating after the melt-crystallization results from the different heating rates, and the appearance of the cold-crystallization peak indicated the medium nucleation capacity of CaSiO3. The presence of CaSiO3 decreased the onset thermal decomposition temperature of PLLA, and this effect depended on the competitive relationship of the poor compatibility of PLLA with CaSiO3 and the content of CaSiO3 with high thermal stability.

In order to explore whether the empathy ability of Chinese special education school teachers has an impact on their burnout, this study investigated 156 special education school teachers using the Empathy Competence Scale and the Burnout Scale.
