ObjectiveTo analyze the highlights of diagnosis and treatment of Charles Bonnet syndrome （CBS） and improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of CBS. MethodsOne case of CBS was reported. Literature review was conduced from PubMed, SinoMed,CNKI, Wanfang Data, Chongqing VIP and CMAPH using the searching words of “Charles Bonnet syndrome”, “hallucination” and “visual hallucination” in English and Chinese. Clinical data of retrieved cases were collected and analyzed. Results The patient presented with visual hallucination as the initial manifestation and complained of seeing “an invisible small-sized man” at home, whereas the patient understood that it was visual hallucination. No abnormality was found in mental assessment. The patient’s insight was not impaired and no other patterns of hallucination were found. The diagnosis of CBS was eventually confirmed. Cognitive therapy was given to this patient to deepen the understanding of CBS and reduce psychological burden. Fourteen CBS cases were retrieved by literature review, and they developed different patterns of visual hallucination. No effective drugs were available for visual hallucination. Conclusions It is difficult to make a diagnosis of CBS, there is no clear and effective treatment for it. Clinicians should pay more attention to improve the ability of diagnosis and treatment of CBS and lower the rates of misdiagnosis and mistreatment.

Magnesium alloy will decrease strength with corrosion in use, thus affecting their service life. Service life as a structural material under stress and corrosion is one focus of the magnesium alloy used as structural material, and how to improve the residual service life of magnesium alloy is an important scientific issue. The X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and slow strain rate tensile (SSRT) tests are used to study the residual service life of erbium (Er) effect in the AM50 magnesium alloy in air, distilled water, and NaCl solution. The results show that after rare earth Er addition to the AM50, the white granular Al3Er intermetallic compound was formed. With Er content increasing, the quantity of Al3Er phase was increased and the volume of β-Mg17Al12 phase was decreased. The SSRT results show that residual service life ratio increased with the Er addition compare with no Er alloy in distilled water. However, in 3.5% NaCl solution, 0.5% Er alloy shows the best service life. Moreover, Er addition does not change the alloy fracture mode, which remains quasi-cleavage. The main cause of the decline in service life in magnesium alloys is the change in surface morphology owing to the pitting corrosion nucleation and growth, which affects the stress distribution of the sample. The mechanism of film cracking plays a major role in the fracture process with the Er increased to change the surface morphologies.

Graphene composite conductive inks are promising for the scalable production of printable electronics, and multifunctional coatings, owing to their cost-effectiveness, high conductivity, and remarkable flexibility. However, the restacking of graphene (Gr) sheets and agglomeration of carbon black (CB) significantly reduce the conductivity of aqueous graphene composite inks, limiting the exploration of high-performance devices. Herein, a highly conductive and dispersed graphene composite ink, based on a composite system of two- and zero-dimensional carbon materials was developed by a scalable sand-milling method. Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) can effectively address the aggregation issues of Gr and CB through steric hindrance. Functionalized Gr and CB can synergistically form an interpenetrating conductive network structure. The synthesis of a highly dispersed Gr/CB composite was facilitated by an in situ exfoliation process, which resulted in a high electrical conductivity of 2.12 × 104 S m−1 (i.e., a sheet resistance of 2.16 Ω sq−1). A screen-printed Gr/CB @ thermoplastic polyurethane fabric based on the Gr/CB composite ink exhibited an excellent electrical conductivity (7.08 Ω sq−1). The resulting composite fabric demonstrated promising potential for application in low-voltage driven wearable heaters and ultra-sensitive flexible strain sensors, while being waterproof, stable, and comfortable, suggesting significant potential for use in flexible wearable electronics. Encouraged by the successful fabrication of C60‐GNR (GNR=graphene nanoribbon) single‐molecule transistors in experiments, four Fe‐containing derived double‐layered devices of Fe@C60‐GNR are designed by employing different electrode linkages and their transport properties are investigated by using density functional theory (DFT) and nonequilibrium Green's function (NEGF) methods. Regardless of electrode connection, all these devices give rise to a smaller negative differential resistance (NDR) peak at V=0.2 and a higher peak at 1.2 V, suggesting their stable maneuverability as molecular devices and good candidates for developing on(off)‐off(on)‐on(off) current switches. The macroscopic NDR performance depends on the delocalization character and the crossing mechanism of the frontier orbitals. The peak‐to‐valley current ratios (Rmax) range from 454 to 2737, determined by the electrode linkage. Such a large Rmax‐value is necessary for developing dynamic random‐access memory (DRAM) cells. Encapsulating the Fe atom inside C60 not only improves the conductivity but also introduces the spin‐polarized transport property. The spin‐filtering efficiency (SFE) of almost all devices oscillates up and down in response to the bias voltage, indicating the possibility of designing on(off)‐off(on)‐on(off) spin switches and up‐down spin switches. All these fascinating properties provide an important clue for designing similar molecular devices with multiple functions by trapping magnetic transition metal atoms inside fullerenes. Encouraged by the promising performance of C60-graphene single-molecule transistors observed in experiments, two types of Fen/C60-GNR (n = 2 and 4 and GNR = graphene nanoribbon) molecules with Fe atoms sandwiched between the upper and lower GNR layers were designed and their electronic and transport properties were investigated by employing density functional theory (DFT) and nonequilibrium Green's function (NEGF) methods. Adding the Fe atoms induces high spin magnetism in the systems. Within the considered bias, almost all Fe2/C60-GNR devices generate double NDR peaks, and some of the Fen/C60-GNR devices (n = 2 and 4) possess a large peak-to-valley current ratio R = Ipeak/Ivalley (>400), implying potential applications in developing on–off–on/off–on–off current switches. The NDR character originates from the crossing of the frontier molecular orbitals. In addition, these systems show distinct spin-polarized transport characteristics, with up-spin channels displaying higher conductivity than down-spin pathways. The spin filter efficiency (SFE) oscillates up and down as bias is scanned for almost all devices, suggesting the possibility of designing on–off–on/off–on–off current switches as well as up–down spin switches. As a predominant ecosystem-providing area and distinctive landscape in arid regions, an oasis plays an important role in maintaining land stability, human production, and daily activities. Studying the dynamics of oasis and its driving factors is vital to supporting arid regions' sustainable development. As a typical mountain–desert–oasis landscape, the Turpan–Hami (Tuha) Basin, located in Xinjiang, China, includes complex interactions among different land types. For this study, we revealed the spatio-temporal patterns and transition processes of the oasis using a complex network method between 1990 and 2020 in the Tuha Basin. In the oasis transition network, the degree value, betweenness centrality, and average path length were calculated to express the transition relationship, key oasis type, and oasis structural stability, respectively. Six factors related to climate change and human actives were selected to investigate the driving forces behind oasis transitions, including the average temperature and precipitation in the growing season, the total power of agricultural machinery (TAMP), the production of raw coal (PRC), the total output value of the plantation industry (TPI), and the population (Pop). Our results show that the oasis area of the Tuha Basin, including the natural oasis and artificial oasis, all grew from 1990 to 2020, with the natural oasis expanding more than the artificial oasis. The transitions between oasis types became more frequent as the area of oasis land types increased throughout the study period. Grassland acted as the most important oasis type in the network, with the highest betweenness centrality, but its importance declined due to the increasing complexity of the oasis transition network from 1990 to 2020. The transitions between oasis types became simpler, and the oasis structural stability decreased. Through driving force analysis, the oasis changes showed a positive correlation with the temperature (p-value < 0.05, r = 0.88), and urbanization and industrialization factors prompted transitions to built-up areas and cropland from grassland and shrubland. In summary, our results suggest that to create a harmonious symbiotic relationship between the natural environment in dryland and human activities, preventing grassland degradation and excessive reclamation of land cover is an available way. Meanwhile, the protection of shrubland and water resources is also important. This study provided reference and theory support for promoting the sustainable development of oases. The X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), weight loss corrosion rate, corrosion residual strength (CRS), and slow strain rate tensile (SSRT) methods were used to study the effects of the addition of rare earth Erbium (Er) on the dynamic corrosion mechanical properties of the AM50 magnesium alloy. The results show that after Er was added, a new phase of Al3Er appeared and the microstructure was refined. The corrosion resistance of rare earth Er addition to the alloy was 0.5% > 1.5% > 1.0% > 0. Furthermore, the corrosion rates decreased in 432 h. The CRS results within 168 h show that the strength after an addition of 0.5% Er was the highest and the decline rate was the smallest. According to the shape of the tensile curve of CRS and the morphology of the tensile fracture, the addition of rare earth Er did not change the fracture form of the alloy, which remained as quasi-cleavage.

Water quality forecasting has great practical significance for sustainable utilization of water resources and timely pollution prevention and control. However, owing to irregularity and volatility of water quality data, achieving accurate forecasts remains a challenging problem. Existing single forecasting models based on points forecasts fail to capture the uncertainty in water quality data or obtain high forecasting accuracy. To address those disadvantages, an uncertain combined water quality forecasting system based on time‐varying filtering empirical mode decomposition strategy and multiobjective immune selection optimization is proposed. Simulations are carried out with actual water quality data obtained during dry and wet periods. Empirical results show that the improved empirical mode decomposition strategy has better data denoising effect. Based on the multiobjective optimization algorithm, not only the Pareto optimal weights of the combined forecasting modules can be obtained but also the distribution function parameters can be effectively optimized. The proposed system can integrate the respective advantages of deep learning and neural network models to improve the forecasting accuracy, and effectively analyze the uncertainty of water quality, and provide technical support for the sustainable development of regional water environment.
