The goal of multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) is to select the most appropriate of the alternatives by evaluating many conflicting criteria together. MCDM methods are widely available in the literature and have been used in various energy problems. The key problems studied in electrical power systems in recent years have included voltage instability and voltage collapse. Different flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS) equipment has been used for this purpose for decades, increasing voltage stability while enhancing system efficiency, reliability and quality of supply, and offering environmental benefits. Finding the best locations for these devices in terms of voltage stability in actual electrical networks poses a serious problem. Many criteria should be considered when determining the most suitable location for the controller. The aim of this paper is to provide a comparative analysis of MCDM techniques to be used for optimal location of a static VAR compensator (SVC) device in terms of voltage stability. The ideal location can be determined by means of sorting according to priority criteria. The proposed approach was carried out using the Power System Analysis Toolbox (PSAT) in MATLAB in the IEEE 14-bus test system. Using ten different MCDM methods, the most appropriate locations were compared among themselves and a single ranking list was obtained, integrated with the Borda count method, which is a data fusion technique. The application results showed that the methods used are consistent among themselves. It was revealed that the integrated model was an appropriate method that could be used for optimal location selection, providing reliable and satisfactory results to power system planners.

This study is recommended to develop a soft-switching control software infrastructure that enables more efficient and effective use of parallel resonant DC link circuits. The fact that the control technique can be easily applied to the soft switching circuit makes it important in this field. With this proposed study, lower voltage ripple and higher efficiency are obtained. To see the results of the technique and to study its effect, a study was carried out on a grid connected inverter. When the frequency changes between 5-15 kHz and 5-10 kW power is transmitted to the grid, the soft switching effect is studied and the efficiency is increased. A software model for calculating the power losses of semiconductor switches has also been established. Using this modeling approach, the power consumption is calculated in detail and the loss analysis is performed using catalog data of semiconductor switches. The accuracy of the obtained results was compared with another simulator. While the PRDCL inverter using the new proposed switching technique transmits 10 kW of power to the grid, the efficiency increased from 97.67% to 98.61% at a switching frequency of 5 kHz, from 96.82% to 98.58% at a switching frequency of 10 kHz, and from 95.61% to 98.55% at a switching frequency of 15 kHz. Yarıiletken devre elemanları, merkezi kontrol birimi (MKB) ve algoritmanın içinde bulunduğu yazılım güç elektroniği uygulamalarının temel taşlarını oluşturmaktadırlar. Merkezi işlem biriminde oluşabilecek hatalar güç katında yarıiletken elemanlara zarar verebilmektedir. Dolaysıyla deneysel çalışma öncesi bir güç elektroniği uygulaması için hazırlanan yazılımın işlemci donanımının kendisini kullanarak donanım destekli benzetimi faydalı olacaktır. Bu çalışmada Paralel Aktif Güç Filtresi (PAGF) sisteminin ortak benzetim modeli Simulink’te hazırlanarak, dijital işaret işlemci (DSP) yazılımı ve donanımı kullanılarak test edilmekte ve donanımsız benzetim sonuçlarıyla karşılaştırılmaktadır. DSP’ye Simulink benzetimindeki güç katından gelen gerilim, akım verileri burada işlenerek kontrol sinyalleri donanım içerisinde oluşturulmakta, DSP’de oluşturulan bu sinyaller Simulink ortamına alınarak hazırlanan modelin evirici kısmına uygulanmaktadır. Deneysel çalışma öncesi DSP’nin yazılım testinin yapıldığı bu donanım destekli ortak benzetim modeli diğer güç elektroniği uygulamalarına ortak benzetim ortamı hazırlamaktadır. Döngüde donanım destekli 3 fazlı PAGF ortak simülasyon modeli Matlab / Simulink ortamında hazırlanmış, test edilmiş ve benzetim sonuçları sunulmuştur., Semiconductor circuit elements constitute the cornerstones of software power electronics applications, including the central control unit (MKB) and the algorithm. Faults that may occur in the central processing unit can damage the semiconductor elements on the plant. Therefore, the hardware-assisted simulation of the software prepared for a power electronics application before the experimental study by using the processor hardware itself will be useful. In this study, the common simulation model of the Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) system is prepared in Simulink, tested by using digital signal processor (DSP) software and hardware, and compared with the simulation results without hardware. The voltage and current data coming from the power stage in Simulink simulation to the DSP are processed here and the control signals are created in the hardware, these signals created in the DSP are taken into the Simulink environment and applied to the inverter part of the prepared model. This hardware supported common simulation model, in which software testing of the DSP is performed before the experimental study, prepares a common simulation environment for other power electronics applications. Hardware supported 3-phase SAPF co-simulation model in the loop was prepared, tested in Matlab / Simulink environment and simulation results were presented.

In our study we aimed to demonstrate Y microdeletions with using sY254 sequence tagged sites (STS) marker in primary infertile male patients by using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method and determine the correlation between cyctogenetic evaluation of patients. Twenty five male patients referred from Manisa and it’s regions, who were diagnosed with primary infertility in the urology department of Manisa Celal Bayar University were included in our study. Thirteen individuals had azoospermia, twelve individuals had oligozoospermia. Ethics committee approval of our patients were recieved from Manisa Celal Bayar University. Blood material was taken under sterile conditions from individuals. Total DNA was isolated from peripheral blood. DNA purity was checked. Target gene regions of total DNA were amplified with PCR method by using oligonucleotide primers. sY14 STS marker used as internal control and pure water used as negative control. Cytogenetic study was made with lymphocyte cultures, human metaphase chromosomes were analysed with light microscopy. According to our analysis results no microdeletion was determined and all of the patients had normal karyotype (46, XY)

Bu çalışmada, vektör kontrollü yüzeysel Sürekli Mıknatıslı Senkron Motorun (SMSM) stator sarımlar arası kısa devre arızasının motor performansına etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla motorun sağlıklı ve arızalı benzetim modelleri Matlab/Simulink’te oluşturulmuştur. Benzetim modelinde SMSM’nin statorunun tek fazında, sarımlar arasında %2, %12.5, %25 oranında kısa devre olması durumu için zaman domeninde üç farklı arıza analizi yapılmıştır. Aynı motorun sağlıklı durumu için oluşturulan benzetim modelinden elde edilen sonuçlar ile üç farklı arızalı durumda elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Benzetim modelinde, sarımlar arası kısa devre arızasının artmasına paralel olarak motorun moment değişimindeki salınımların arttığı görülmüştür. Aynı şekilde kısa devre arızalı motorun arızalı faz akımı kısa devre arıza şiddetinin artmasına bağlı olarak artmıştır. Bu da SMSM’nin aynı yük altında şebekeden daha çok akım çekmesine neden olmaktadır. Benzetim modelindeki aynı koşullar deneysel çalışmada da gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneysel çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar ile benzetim modelinden elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Deneysel çalışmadan ve benzetim modelinden elde edilen sonuçlardan stator sargısı sarımlar arası kısa devre arızasının motor performansını düşürdüğü gözlenmiştir. Deneysel çalışmadan ve benzetim modelinden elde edilen sonuçlar makalede sunulmuştur.

Bu çalışmada, kademeli bir güç transformatörünün sonlu elemanlar yöntemiyle 2 boyutlu (2B) simülasyon modeli tasarlanmıştır. Üç farklı tip sargının transformatörün birincil ve ikincil sargı gerilimleri, kademe gerilimleri, demir kaybı ve bakır kaybı üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, birincil ana sargısı 1392 sarım, birincil kademe sargısı iki adet 37 sarımdan oluşan ve ikincil sargısında 32 sarım bulunan 250 kVA’ lık 11/0.416 kV kademeli bir güç transformatörü sonlu elemanlar yöntemi kullanılarak ANSYS MAXWELL paket programında 2 boyutlu (2B) simülasyon modeli tasarlanmıştır. Bu model kullanılarak, Üç farklı tip sargının analiz sonuçlarının karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. ANSYS MAXWELL kütüphanesinde bulunan bakır, alüminyum ve gümüş olmak üzere üç farklı tipte sargı malzemesi kullanılmıştır. Güç transformatöründe kullanılan bu üç farklı tip sargının transformatör kayıpları, transformatörün birincil ve ikincil sargılarında indüklenen gerilim ve faz akımlarına olan etkisi incelenmiştir. Alüminyum, bakır ve gümüş sargıları için 120 ms süresince yapılan analizlere göre her üç sargı tipinde de ikincil sargıda İndüklenen gerilim 215.02 Volt(rms), birincil ana sargıda indüklenen gerilim 9495.50 Volt(rms), birincil sargının birinci kademe sargısında indüklenen gerilim 253.25 Volt(rms), birincil sargının ikinci kademe sargısında indüklenen gerilim 250.77 Volt(rms), ikincil faz akımı 258.97 Amper(rms), birincil faz akımı 15.33 Amper(rms) ve demir kaybı 397.47 Watt olmak üzere aynı değerler elde edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda alüminyum iletkeninin ortalama sargı kaybı 2.26 kW, bakır iletkeninin ortalama sargı kaybı 1,48 kW ve gümüş iletkeninin ortalama sargı kaybı 1.40 kW olarak hesaplanmıştır. Alüminyum sargı kaybı görünür gücün % 0.90’ ı, bakır sargı kaybı görünür gücün % 0.59’ u ve gümüş sargı kaybı görünür gücün % 0.56’ sı kadardır. En az sargı kaybı gümüş iletkeninde saptanmıştır. Sargı tipinin sadece sargı kaybını etkilediğini transformatörün diğer parametrelerini etkilemediği tespit edilmiştir.

Due to the polluting effect of fossil fuels on environment and their exhaustible nature, investments in renewable energy resources continue to increase. In order to benefit from solar energy which is one of these energy resources, 50 GW of new power plants were installed only in 2015. Following the "regulation on unlicensed electricity generation" issued to benefit from the renewable energy potential available in Turkey, the installation of systems that generate electricity from solar energy via photovoltaic power is rapidly increasing. The use of simulation software is very important in the design and analysis of photovoltaic solar power plants. In this way, it is possible to obtain production data and conduct investment analyses before the power plant is established. Some of the simulation programs are web-based. In this study, web-based solar energy simulation programs PVGIS and Sunny Design Web were investigated and the proximity of simulation results to the actual results was studied. Dicle University Solar Power Plant was selected as the study field in order to compare the simulation results of the software. Dicle University Solar Power Plant is a photovoltaic solar power plant established and operated within the Engineering Faculty of Dicle University for introduction, education, production and analysis purposes. In the study, simulation of the 250 kWp solar power plant established in Dicle University was performed with PVGIS and Sunny Design Web software by using installation parameters and thus, one-year production values were obtained. The results of both web-based programs are compared with each other and with the actual production values from the plant.

Fosil yakıtların çevresel zararlı etkileri nedeniyle yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının kullanımı, özellikle elektrik üretiminde hızla artmaktadır. 2015 yılının Aralık ayında Paris’te yapılan Birleşmiş Milletler İklim Zirvesinde küresel ısınmanın 2°C’nin altında tutulması için eylem planının uygulanması kabul edilmiştir. Bu eylem planı içerisinde yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının kullanımı önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Lisansız elektrik üretim yönetmeliğinin yürürlüğe girmesinden sonra Türkiye’de de özellikle güneş enerjisinden fotovoltaik yolla elektrik üreten sistemlerin kurulumu hızla artmaktadır. Bu çerçevede tanıtım, eğitim, üretim ve analiz yapabilmek amacıyla Dicle Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi bünyesinde de bir güneş enerjisi santrali kurulmuştur. Fotovoltaik güneş enerji santrallerinin tasarımında ve analizinde simülasyon programlarının kullanımı oldukça önemlidir. PVsyst simülasyon programı, fotovoltaik sistem simülasyonu için sunduğu araçlar ile detaylı analiz yapabilme olanağıyla bu programlar içerisinde öne çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Dicle Üniversitesi bünyesinde kurulmuş olan 250 kWp’lik güneş enerji santralinin simülayonu PVsyst V6.39 simülasyon programı ile yapılmış ve IEC 61724 standardında belirtilen performans kriterlerine uygun olarak performansı analiz edilmiştir. Aynı zamanda santralin Aralık 2015 ile Nisan 2016 dönemi arasındaki üretim değerleri simülasyon sonuçları ile karşılaştırılmıştır., The world primary energy demand is increasing day by day. Energy supply safety issue is an important agenda in the world as our country. 79% of energy demand in the world is gained from fossil fuels. On the other hand fossil fuels damage environment and results of this damage will be seen only in the future. So clean energy began take place of this energy resources slowly. At the Paris Climate Conference in December 2015, 195 countries adopted first ever universal legally binding global climate deal. The agreement sets out a global action plan to put the world on track to avoid dangerous climate change by limiting global warming to well below 20 C. In order to use achieve this goal use of renewable energy have to be increased because renewable energy resources are crucial key to achieve the goal of meeting energy demand that is growing with advancement in technology. The sun is probably the most important source of renewable energy available today. Solar electricity generation represents a clean alternative to electricity from fossil fuels with no air and water pollution no global warming pollution and no threats public health. After amendments in regulation of unlicensed electricity production in Turkey installation of photovoltaic systems and solar power plants increased rapidly. One of these solar power plants was established in Dicle University Engineering Faculty at November 2015. This solar power plant has 250 kWp installed capacity and its production data has been recorded since December 2015. Simulation programs are significant tools for design and analysis of photovoltaic systems. PVsyst simulation software is a widely used program for PV systems. PVsyst simulation program has some advanced tools for analysis and design. In this study, Dicle University Solar Power Plant is simulated by PVsyst program. Simulation results were analysed according to IEC 61724 standards which defines the photovoltaic solar power plant performance evaluations. From the analysis of simulation results it was seen that, reference yield, and final yield reached its maximum value in August. This situation arises due to highest radiation ratio in August. Although maximum radiation values have been seen in August minimum performance was gained at the same time. This was resulted from the decrease of the panel efficiency due to high temperature. The PVSyst simulated annual energy production of Dicle University Solar Power Plant is 380.6 MWh per year. The comparison of the simulation results with the measured production value of the plant has showed that, there was a diversion between results of the simulation and measured data in December and January. In February, March and April there was a maximum 10% between simulation and measured values divergence. In all periods, measured values were higher than simulation values except January. This may occur because of the fact that, efficiency of the PV panels is maximum in first year of installation. Developers and designers require the tools for evaluating solar power plant’s performance. The annual performance calculated by the PVsyst has been validated against actual operating data from Dicle University Solar Power Plant. These results will be important for design criteria in South-eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey.

Günümüzde, gelişen teknolojilere paralel olarak enerjiye olan talep de artmaktadır. Artan bu enerji taleplerinin karşılanması konusunda bilim insanları yeni alternatif enerji kaynakları geliştirmeye çalışmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmaların büyük bir bölümü ise fosil yakıtlara alternatif olabilecek yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları üzerinedir. Yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından olan rüzgâr ve güneş enerjisi coğrafik koşullara bağlı olarak, bölgelere göre değişiklik arz etmektedir. Özellikle Türkiye’de güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi, Türkiye ortalaması olan 1400 kWh/m2-yıl’dan daha yüksek, bir güneş enerji potansiyeline sahiptir. Bu makalede, Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi için, güneş enerjisinin elektrik enerjisine dönüşümünde önemli bir parametre olan, global güneş ışınımı (GGI) ve güneşlenme sürelerinin (GS) tahmininde, iki farklı istatiksel yöntem ilk kez kullanılmıştır. Kullanılan yöntemler, üstel ağırlıklı hareketli ortalama (ÜAHO) ve üstel ağırlıklı hareketli ortalama bazlı gaussian dağılımı(ÜAHOG)’dır. Yapılan çalışmada, global güneş ışınımı ve güneşlenme süresinin iki farklı istatistiksel yöntemle tahmin edilmesi ve bu yöntemlerin birbirleriyle olan karşılaştırılması sunulmuştur. Ayrıca yöntemlerin başarı oranı, belirleme katsayısı R2 ve ortalama mutlak yüzdelik hata(OMYH) kullanılarak test edilmiştir. Yapılan hesaplamalar sonucunda Hem GGI ve GS için ÜHAO ve ÜAHOG kullanılarak hesaplanan R2 değerleri 1’e yakın olarak bulunurken, diğer taraftan ÜHAO ve ÜAHOG kullanılarak hesaplanan OMYH değerleri yöntemlerin mükemmel tahmin oranına sahip olduğunu gösteren 0-10(kWh/m2-gün) aralığında hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar GGI ve GS tahmini için kullanılan her iki yöntemin de uygun olduğunu göstermiştir., Dependent of development in technology it causes to increase in demand of energy. This problem is a dilemma for science and industry. To overcome this situation, scientist and researcher try to improve new solution for energy problem. Solar energy that is a crucial part of renewable energy is in the interest of scientists. Especially for regions in the world which has a high potential of solar energy, it is alternative solution to fossil fuel. Southeastern Anatolian region of turkey has rich in view of solar energy. Due to advantage of this region solar energy may be replaced to conventional energy types. Because countries such Turkey that has in progress of development has to solve their energy problem by various methods. Although that region of Turkey has a high potential, it is not enough to benefit from solar energy. The aim is this paper to contribute for scientist, researchers and investigators by eliminating the disadvantages such as lack of solar parameters measurement stations due to geographical and economic problems in that field. The meteorological measurement station in Turkey are dependent to Meteorological service of Turkish state. In addition some station are established in University for scientific researches. That region of Turkey there is no enough measurement station. The contribution proposes in that paper tries to predict solar parameters by using earlier years’ data. The important parameters of solar energy are sunshine duration and global solar radiation. These parameters are used in conversion of solar energy to electrical energy. This paper proposes two statistical method which are used earlier year solar data to predict next years’ solar parameters such as global solar radiation and sunshine duration. First method is exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA). This method needs minimum two years’ data for short or long term prediction. Second method is called as exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) based Gaussian distribution method. It needs also two years’ solar data for prediction. Both mentioned method are applied to five cites of southeaster Anatolia region of Turkey that are Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Batman and Mardin. The two years’ (1998-2000) data are used for test class years’ data in Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Batman but in Mardin two years’ data used for test class years are between 2012-2013. The predicted years for Cities of Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa are 10 years, for Diyarbakır are 8 years, for Batman are 6 years which are long term prediction. However for Mardin cities predicted years are 2 years and it is called as short term prediction. It is a obligation to selected this years for prediction because only that years solar data can be obtained from metrological service of Turkish state. For both method two statistical tools which area mean average percentage error (MAPE) and determination coefficient (R2 ). The computed MAPE for global solar radiation and sunshine duration in EWMA method is between 0-10(kWh/m2 ) that is excellent prediction accuracy and the computed R2 for global solar radiation and sunshine duration is close to 1 which is indicated measured and predicted data are similar. The computed values of MAPE for EWMA based Guassian distribution method is also in acceptable range that is between 0-10(kWh/m2) for global solar radiation. On the other hands they are also indicated excellent prediction accuracy for sunshine duration excluding Diyarbakır and Batman cities it is indicated good prediction accuracy which is in the interval of 10-20(kWh/m2). The computed values of R2 for both global solar radition and sunshine duration in EWMA based Gaussian distribution method is close to 1 and it means the predicted data are fitted with measured data. As a result EWMA method and EWMA based Gaussian distribution method have high prediction accuracy. However the result of EWMA methods has a higher prediction accuracy than values of EWMA based Gaussian distribution method.

Güneş enerjisinden yararlanabilmek için, bu enerjinin kullanılması düşünülen yerdeki potansiyelinin en az hata ile belirlenmesi oldukça önemlidir. Elde edilen veriler, benzetim modellerinde ve tasarım kriterlerinde kullanılabilmektedir. Bu çalışma, Nisan 2013 ve Mayıs 2015 tarihleri arasında Diyarbakır’da (Enlem: 37o55’ D, Boylam: 40o 14’ K) Dicle Üniversitesi DÜPTAM (Bilim ve Teknoloji Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi) binası çatısına kurulan meteorolojik standartlara uygun güneş ölçüm istasyonu kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Böylelikle elde edilen veriler Diyarbakır ili için güneş enerji sistemlerinin benzetiminde ve tahmin modellerinin geliştirilmesinde kullanılabilecektir. İki yıllık ölçüm sonuçlarının analizi ile aylara göre ortalama sıcaklık değerleri, ortalama güneşlenme süresi, ortalama global ışınım değerleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu verilerin yanında, yıl içerisindeki maksimum, minimum ve ortalama global ışınım değerleri de belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar makalede sunulmuştur. Sonuçların analizinden Diyarbakır ilinin güneş enerjisi açısından değerlendirilebilir bir potansiyele sahip olduğunu ve burada ölçülen güneş enerjisi gösterge değerlerinin Türkiye ortalamasından büyük olduğu görülmüştür.

Objectives: We retrospectively evaluated our rigid uret­eroscopy (URS) treatment results in ureteric stones and assessed its effectiveness concerning ureteric stone lo­calisation. Materials and methods: Overall, 101 patients were ret­rospectively evaluated including lower (n=69), mid (n=23) and upper ureteric (n=9) stones which were treated with rigid URS (Wolf 8.0-9.8Fr, Germany) in our hospital be­tween January 2007- June 2009. Stones were removed by stone forceps/basket catheter either as single piece or fragmented by pneumatic lithotripsy (EMS-Swisslitho­clast-Master). Results: Mean patient age was 45.1 (19-78) years. Stones were located in the right (n=52) and left (n=49) ure­ters, respectively. Mean stone size was 7,4 mm (5-15). Of the 9 patients with upper ureteric stones, 7 were (77.8%) stone-free. However, stone migrated into renal pelvis in two patients but passed into ureter again in the follow-up and removed by URS. Of the 23 patients with mid-ureteric stones, 22 were (95.7%) stone-free. Ureter perforation occurred in one patient and ureteroneocystostomy was performed. Of the 69 patients with lower ureteric stones, 68 were (98.6%) stone-free. Ureter perforation occurred in one patient and healed spontaneously by ureter cathe­ter replacement. Stone was removed afterwards by URS. Overall (n=101), ureter perforation occurred in 1.9% (n=2) in our series. Resistant urinary tract infection developed in one patient (0.9%) (P.aeroginosa). Conclusion: Due to results of this preliminary study, rigid URS and pneumatic lithotripsy can be performed suc­cessfully particularly in lower ureteric stones. However, as stone location shifts to upper ureter, success rate de­creases. Although URS can be performed safely with low complication rates in the treatment of ureteric stones, se­vere complications like ureter perforation might occur., Amaç: Bu çalışmada rijid üreteroskop (URS) kullanarak yaptığımız üreter taşlarında endoürolojik tedavilerimiz retrospektif olarak incelendi ve taşın yerine göre URS\'nin etkinliği değerlendirildi. Gereç ve yöntem: Ocak 2007- Haziran 2009 tarihleri arasında rijid URS (Wolf 8.0-9.8 Fr, Germany) ile tedavi edilen alt üreter (n=69), orta üreter (n=23) ve üst üreter (n=9) taşları olan toplam 101 hasta değerlendirildi. Taşlar forseps veya basket kateteri yardımı ile tek parça olarak ya da pnömotik litotriptör (EMS Swiss-lithoclast Master) ile parçalanarak çıkartıldı. Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalaması 45.1 (19-78) yıl idi. Taşlar 52 hastada sağ, 49 hastada sol taraftaydı. Taş bü­yüklüğü ortalama 7.4 (5-15) mm idi. Üst üreter taşı olan 9 hastanın 7\'sinde (%77.8) taşsızlık sağlandı. İki hastada taş renal pelvise migrate oldu ve izlemde tekrar üretere düşen bu taşlar URS yapılarak alındı. Orta üreter taşı olan 23 hastanın 22\'sinde (%95.7) taşsızlık sağlanırken, bir hastada distal üreter perforasyonu gelişti, üreterolito­tomi ve üreteroneosistostomi yapıldı. Alt üreter taşı olan 69 hastanın 68\'inde taşsızlık sağlanırken (%98.6), bir hastada üreter perforasyonu gelişti ve üreter kateteriyle iyileşme sağlandıktan sonra tekrar URS yapılarak taş alındı. Çalışmaya katılan 101 hastanın sadece 2\'sinde (%1.9) üreter perforasyonu oluştu. Bir hastada (%0.9) P.aeroginosa\'ya bağlı dirençli üriner sistem enfeksiyonu gelişti. Sonuç: Rijid URS ve pnömotik litotripsi ile özellikle alt üre­ter taşlarının endoskopik tedavisinde yüksek başarı sağ­lanmakla birlikte, taşın yerleşimi proksimale doğru gittikçe bu oran azalmaktadır. URS üreter taşlarının tedavisinde düşük komplikasyon oranıyla güvenle yapılabilmesine karşın, üreterdeki travmaya bağlı üreter perforasyonu gibi ciddi komplikasyonlar oluşabilmektedir.

Objective: Ureteroscopic lithotripsy (URSL) is a com­mon treatment alternative in ureteral stones. We aimed to evaluate pneumatic and laser lithotripsy techniques, which are used for fragmentation of stones. Materials and methods: The data of 100 patients who underwent URSL by using pneumatic and laser lithotrip­tors were analyzed. The sample divided in 2 groups, each including 50 patients. URSL was performed in lithotomy position under general anesthesia. The absence of re­sidual stone at second week urinary system graphy was accepted as the criteria of success. We evaluated the presence of differences in terms of efficiency and cost-effectivity of pneumatic and laser lithotripsy techniques. Results: The mean ages were 42 and 45 years, respec­tively. The mean operation time was 43.1 min in pneumat­ic group and 40 min in laser group. Stone-free rates were found 93.9% and 78%, respectively. The stone migration rate was determined 16% in pneumatic group and 4.1% in laser group. Complication rates were 4.1% in pneumatic group and 8% in laser group. The cost analysis showed that pneumatic lithotriptor device cost 10000 TL and laser lithotriptor system cost 76000 TL. Nevertheless, the So­cial Security Administration paid the same cost for both lithotripsy techniques. Conclusion: Higher stone-free and lower stone migra­tion rates were determined in laser lithotripsy application. Therefore, low incidence of the requirement of subse­quent secondary treatments for residual stones in laser treatment decreased the treatment costs. Nevertheless, the cost is significantly higher in laser technique. It re­quires more detailed studies., Amaç: Üreteroskopik litotripsi (URSL) , üreter taşlarının tedavisinde sık tercih edilen bir tedavi alternatifidir. Bu ça­lışmada URSL uygulamasında taşları fragmente etmede kullanılan pnömotik ve lazer litotripsi tekniklerini değerlen­dirmeyi amaçladık. Gereç ve yöntem: Kliniğimizde 2010-2012 yıllarında üre­ter taşı tanısı alıp pnömotik ve lazer litotripsi kullanılarak URSL yapılan 100 hastanın verileri incelendi. Hastalar pnömotik ve lazer litotripsi olarak 50 hastalık 2 gruba ayrıl­dı. Tüm URSL işlemleri genel anestezi altında ve litotomi pozisyonunda uygulandı. URS sonrası 2. haftada yapılan direk üriner sistem grafisi kontrolünde taş görülmemesi taşsızlık olarak değerlendirilip, başarı kriteri olarak kabul edildi. Bu iki yönteme ait sonuçlar karşılaştırılarak iki yön­tem arasında etkinlik ve maliyet farkı varlığı araştırıldı. Bulgular: İki gruptaki hastaların ortalama yaşı sırasıyla 42 ve 45 olarak belirlendi. Ortalama operasyon süreleri pnömotik grubunda 43.1 dakika, lazer grubunda ise 40 dakikaydı. Taşsızlık oranı lazer grubunda %93.9, pnö­motik grubunda ise %78 olarak bulundu. Taşın proksimal üreter veya böbreğe migrate olma oranı lazer grubunda %4.1, pnömotik grubunda %16 olarak görüldü. Kompli­kasyon oranları lazer grubunda %4.1, pnömotik grubunda ise %8 olarak belirlendi. Maliyet değerlendirmesinde lazer sisteminin 76000 TL ve pnömotik sisteminin 10000 TL\'ye mal olduğu görüldü. Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu\'nun her iki işlem için kuruma ödemesi ise eşitti. Sonuç: Lazer yönteminde daha yüksek taşsızlık ve taş lokalizasyonuna göre daha az taş migrasyon oranları saptanmıştır. Bu sayede daha sonra hastaya gerekebile­cek ikincil girişimlerin azlığı lazer yönteminde genel tedavi masraflarını azaltmasına rağmen, maliyet lazer yöntemin­de belirgin yüksektir. Buna rağmen aralarında belirgin bir maliyet farkı bulunan bu iki yöntemin etkinliğiyle ilgili daha çok çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır.

Üsküdar-Çekmeköy metro line of 20 km having twin tubes is commissioned to Doğuş Construction Company by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality authorities. During the excavation, Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) encountered with complex geology consisting of sandstone, siltstone, shale, limestone, conglomerate, and diabase dykes. Two TBMs having diameters of 6.57 m are used in excavation of Üsküdar-Çekmeköy metro line. In this study, performance analysis is carried out along the tunnel route between Üsküdar-Çarsi stations by analyzing TBM data (thrust, torque, speed of cutter head revolution, advance rate, alarms etc.). Machine utilization time is also determined and, the breakdowns and stoppage times are deeply analyzed to identify their effects on TBM performance. Makine performansını önemli ölçüde etkileyen arıza ve duraklamaların neler olduğu ve her birinin yüzdesel dağılımları belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma, karmaşık olarak gözüken TBM verilerinin nasıl sadeleştirileceğini, performans ve arıza verilerinin pratik olarak nasıl değerlendirilebileceğini göstermektedir.

Kliniğimizde radikal retropubik prostatektomi (RRP) sonrası uzamış drenajı olan hastada tanı ve tedavi yaklaşımımızı aktarmayı amaçladık. Lokalize prostat adeno kanseri tanılı 67 yaşındaki hastaya RRP yapıldı. Anastomoz sonrası kaçak olmadığı kontrol edildi. Bir adet dren koyularak operasyon sonlandırıldı. Postoperatif 2. gün dreninden geleni artan ve 15 gün boyunca yaklaşık 1500ml/ gün geleni olan hastaya sistografi ve sonrasında sistoskopi yapıldığında problemin batın dreninin anastomoz hattını perfore etmesi olduğu belirlendi. Dren 2-3 cm geriye geri çekildiğinde durumun hızlı şekilde düzeldiği görüldü. RRP sonrası görülebilen uzamış drenajın, batına drenin anastomoz hattını perfore ederek içeriye girmesi sonucu oluşabileceği göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. We presented a case of prolonged drainage following RRP related to the perforation of vesicourethral anastamosis (VUA) by drain and the management. Sixty seven years old man underwent RRP. After the anastomosis, a surgical drain was placed. At postoperatively 2nd day, the drainage increased and 1500 ml/ day drained during 15 days. Subsequent cystography and cystoscopy revealed that the problem was the perforation of anastomosis by surgical drain. The drainage decreased after pulling out the drain 2-3 cm. It should be considered that prolonged drainage following RRP can occur related to the perforation of VUA by surgical drain.

In this study, a Fuzzy Inference System (F.I.S.) controller using error and derivative of error inputs is proposed for the speed control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (P.M.S.M.). However, the performances of the P.M.S.M. are very sensitive to parameter and load variations. To overcome with these problems several control strategies such as Fuzzy Logic Control (F.L.C.), Neural Network (N.N.) and Genetic Control (G.C.) have been proposed for speed control. In this study, Fuzzy and PI controls are compared with simulation and experimentally. It is showed that which control method can be chosen at which status by using their advantages and disadvantages., Bu çalışmada Sürekli Mıknatıslı Senkron Motorun (S.M.S.M.) hız kontrolü için Bulanık Ara Sistem (F.I.S.) denetleyicisi kullanılarak hata ve hatadaki değişimin kullanılması anlatılmaktadır. S.M.S.M. lerin performansında makinanın parametre yükündeki değişimler çok etkili olmaktadır. Bu sorunun üstesinden gelmek için Bulanık Mantık Kontrol (B.M.K.), Nöro Ağlar (N.A.) ve Genetik Kontrol (G.K.) gibi birçok modern kontrol stratejileri hız denetiminde kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Bulanık kontrol ile PI kontrol, karşılaştırılmaktadır. Bu şekilde her iki yöntemin de üstün ve üstün olmayan yönleri irdelenerek hangisinin ne şekilde seçilebileceği gösterilmektedir.
