The Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet) and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket) have co-developed standard methodology and guidelines for the monitoring of wolverines in Scandinavia, that have been implemented in both Norway and Sweden since 2014. To estimate population size, and assess trends, wolverine reproductive areas (female territories) are annually surveyed during late winter and spring to register whether reproductions have occurred. The population size is estimated based on the number of wolverine reproductions that fulfil established criteria for documented or probable reproductions. The monitoring of wolverine reproductions, and registration of data into the shared database Rovbase, is conducted by field staff from the County Administration Boards CAB (Länsstyrelserna) in Sweden and the Norwegian Nature Inspectorate (Statens Naturoppsyn) in Norway. In Sweden, the Sami villages (administra-tive units for reindeer herding) assist the CABs by reporting presumed den sites, which can then be evaluated in the field by CAB field personnel. During the 2022 census, a total of 164 wolverine reproductions were registered in Scandinavia, which are four more than the year before (160 reproductions). Of these, 119 reproductions were found in Sweden and 45 in Norway. This corresponds to an increase of 19 reproductions (19%) in Sweden and a decrease of 15 reproductions (-25%) in Norway, compared to 2021. The model used to estimate population size, i.e., extrapolate number of reproductions to adult individuals in the population, accounts for annual variation in reproductive success by using a three-year floating average of the number of reproductions. Based on the number of wolverine reproductions during 2020-2022, the Scandinavian population size is estimated to 1019 adult wolverines (95% CI = 861–1282), defined as 1-year old or older, which is very similar to last year’s estimate. Of the 1019 wolverines, 351 wolverines (95% CI = 283–456) are estimated to be in Norway and 668 wolverines (95% CI = 540–869) in Sweden. The estimated population size in Norway in 2022 is 9% lower than the estimate for 2021 but within the uncertainty interval of last year (386 wolverines: 95% CI = 324–493). For the Swedish part of the population the estimate is 5% higher than the estimate from 2021 but also within the uncertainty interval of last year (637 wolverines: 95% CI = 518–826). Bestandsstørrelse og –utvikling for jerv i Skandinavia overvåkes ved registrering av ynglelokaliteter (revir) hvor det har blitt født ungekull i løpet av vårvinteren. Det gjøres en årlig beregning av bestandsstørrelsen som baseres på antall påviste ynglinger som er Dokumentert eller Antatt sikre ut ifra de felles skandinaviske overvåkingskriteriene. Jervynglingene overvåkes og registreres i Rovbase i hovedsak av feltpersonell fra Statens Naturoppsyn (SNO) i Norge og Länsstyrelsene i Sverige, som utfører feltkontrollene. På svensk side skjer registreringen i reinbeiteområdene i tett samarbeid med samebyene. De rapporterer mulige hilokaliteter til länsstyrelsens personell, som deretter kvalitetssikrer i felt. I løpet av registreringssesongen 2022 ble det registrert totalt 164 ynglinger av jerv i Skandinavia, noe som er fire ynglinger mer enn i 2021. Av disse ble 119 ynglinger påvist i Sverige og 45 i Norge. I Sverige tilsvarer dette en økning på 19 ynglinger (19 %) og i Norge en reduksjon på 15 ynglinger (-25%) sammenlignet med 2021. Det gjennomsnittlige antallet påviste jervynglinger de tre siste årene brukes som grunnlag for bestandsestimeringen fra antall ynglinger til antall voksne jerver i populasjonen. Modellen som brukes i bestandsestimeringen tar hensyn til at både årets og foregående års reproduksjoner påvirker størrelsen på bestanden. Basert på antall ynglinger i perioden 2020–2022 beregnes den skandinaviske bestanden i 2022 til 1019 voksne jerver som er ett år eller eldre (95 % CI = 861–1282), noe som er omtrent det samme som fjorårets populasjonsestimat for Skandinavia som helhet. Staten får i mån av tillgång på medel lämna bidrag för att förebygga skador av vilt och ersätta inträffade skador. Detta regleras i Viltskadeförordningen (2001:724) och Naturvårdsverkets föreskrifter och allmänna råd om bidrag och ersättningar för viltskador (NFS 2008:16/NFS 2018:05) samt i Föreskrifter om bidrag och ersättning för rovdjursförekomst i samebyar (STFS 2007:9). Bidrag och ersättningar för viltskador utgår endast för vilt som inte får jagas under allmän jakttid. Sedan våren 2010 lämnar länsstyrelserna bidrag till förebyggande åtgärder från Viltskadeanslaget till betesmarker på icke blocklagd mark. Bidrag till beteshagar på blocklagd mark ska istället sökas som miljöinvestering och finansieras med särskilda medel som anslagits av Jordbruksverkets Landsbygdsprogram. Medel från Landsbygdsprogrammet får endast användas till rovdjursavvisande stängsel på blocklagda betesmarker. Medlen används i första hand i län med fast förekomst av varg, där angreppen förväntas bli flest. För att få en kontinuerlig bild av vilka belopp som lagts på att förebygga rovdjursangrepp på tamdjur har vi sedan 1997 redovisat vilka medel som beviljats ur Viltskadeanslaget (Naturvårdsverket) och Landsbygdsprogrammet (Jordbruksverket) i samma tabeller och grafer i denna rapport. Från och med 2014 redovisas utbetalda bidrag istället för beviljade bidrag, eftersom alla beviljade bidrag inte utnyttjas. Observera att summorna för förebyggande åtgärder och ersättningar är avrundade till närmaste tusental, varför en del totalsummor inte alltid går jämt ut i tabellernas rader och kolumner. I denna rapport redovisas de skador och bidrag som länsstyrelserna har registrerat. Av olika skäl kan enskilda länsstyrelser i enstaka fall vara försenade med registreringen vilket leder till att redovisningen blir ofullständig.

The monitoring of wolverine reproductions, and registration of data into the shared database Rovbase, is conducted by field staff from the County Administration Boards CAB (Länsstyrelserna) in Sweden and the Norwegian Nature Inspectorate (Statens Naturoppsyn) in Norway. In Sweden, the Sami villages (administrative units for reindeer herding) assist the CABs by reporting suspected den sites, which can then be evaluated in the field by CAB field personnel. During the 2020 census, a total of 164 wolverine reproductions were registered in Scandinavia, which are similar to the year before (166 reproducations). Of these, 101 reproductions were found in Sweden and 63 in Norway. This corresponds to 3 fewer reproductions (2.9%) in Sweden and one more reproduction (1.6%) in Norway, compared to 2019. The model used to estimate population size, i.e. extrapolate number of reproductions to adult individuals in the population, accounts for annual variation in reproductive success by using the average number of reproductions in the past three years. Based on the number of wolverine reproductions during the last three years (2018–2020), the Scandinavian population size is estimated to 1069 adult wolverines (95% CI = 922–1335), defined as 1-year old or older, which is a 5.5% higher estimate for Scandinavia than last year. Of the 1069 wolverines, 382 wolverines (95% CI = 323–486) are estimated to be in Norway and 687 wolverines (95% CI = 572–891) in Sweden. The Norwegian part of the population has thus increased with 14 % from an estimated 334 wolverines (95% CI = 273–429) in 2019. In Sweden, the estimated population size in 2020 was similar to the estimate from 2019 (679 wolverines; 95% CI = 565–891). Sammanfattning: Titel: "När hon la en hand på min rygg kunde jag känna om hon var full eller inte" Hur vuxna relationer formas av en uppväxt med alkoholberoende förälder/föräldrar Författare: Ida Björkman och Linda Höglund Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka hur vuxna relationer formas utifrån en uppväxt präglad av alkoholberoende förälder/föräldrar. Frågeställningarna vi utgick från för att göra det var: Hur ser de vuxna relationerna ut hos ett urval av informanter som har upplevt en barndom med en eller två föräldrar som var alkoholberoende? och Hur kan de vuxna relationerna hos informanterna förstås utifrån deras uppväxt präglad av alkoholberoende förälder/föräldrar? Det här är en kvalitativ studie utförd genom narrativa intervjuer (n=10) med vuxna personer som vuxit upp med alkoholberoende förälder/föräldrar och den visade att det görs ett val att begränsa antalet relationer man omger sig med i vuxen ålder för att minimera risken att bli sårad. Rädslan för att bli sårad beror på upprepade tillfällen av bristande tillit under uppväxten. Det finns en rädsla att brista i det egna föräldraskapet på liknande sätt som de egna föräldrarna har gjort. Beslut att avstå helt från eget föräldraskap och en beslutsamhet att lyckas i det finns också. Det finns förståelse och förlåtelse kring att de egna föräldrarna har gjort så gott de kunde utifrån sina förutsättningar och det bottnar i ett omvänt vårdnadsbehov där man från uppväxt in i vuxen ålder känner sig ansvarig för sina föräldrars välmående. Studien är genomförd med fenomenologisk ansats och har inspirerats av den hermeneutiska meningstolkningen där system- och anknytningsteori har legat till grund för analysen. Slutsatsen i den här studien är att olika situationer och relationer genom livsloppet medför reflektioner där uppfattningen av den egna uppväxten successivt förändras och det görs olika typer av anpassningar för att hantera tidigare erfarenheter. Det framträder en medvetenhet hos informanterna att relationer idag är påverkade av uppväxten, dock strävar de själva med att förstå hur den påverkar. Abstract: Titel: "When she put a hand on my back I could tell if she was drunk or not" How adult relationships form due to an upbringing with alcohol dependent parent/parents Authors: Ida Björkman and Linda Höglund The purpose of this study was to examine how adult relationships form due to an upbringing with alcohol dependent parent/parents. The questions we used to do this were: How do the adult relationships look like in a selection of informants who have experienced a childhood with one or two parents who were alcohol dependent? and How can the adult relationships of the informants be understood due to an upbringing with alcohol dependent parent/parents? This is a qualitative study conducted through narrative interviews (n = 10) with adults who grew up with alcohol dependent parent/parents and it showed that the informants choose to limit the number of relationships they surround themselves with to minimize the risk of being hurt. The fear of being hurt is due to repeated situations of lacking continuity in childhood. Present is a fear of becoming a parent with the same shortcomings as one’s own parents. This results in the decision to not become a parent at all, or on a contrary, a determination to succeed in one’s own parenthood. They have always felt more or less responsible for their parents wellbeing and this also leads to an understanding that the parents did the best they could. The study has been conducted with a phenomenological approach and was inspired by the hermeneutical circle in the interpretation of the data, in which system- and attachment theory has been the basis for the analysis. This study concludes that the own perception of one’s upbringing gradually changes due to different situations and relationships throughout the lifecycle and different types of adaptations are made to deal with past experiences. There is an awareness among the informants that relationships today are influenced by their upbringing, however, they themselves strive to understand how it affects.
