Background: Bromhidrosis, characterized by foul‐smelling sweat, is a prevalent condition that significantly affects patients' social and psychological well‐being. Methods: This review presents novel treatment approaches and discusses the pros and cons of various treatment options for axillary bromhidrosis. Results: Extensive research has explored numerous treatment modalities for bromhidrosis. This article systematically reviews both surgical and nonsurgical interventions utilized in clinical practice. Conclusion: By synthesizing available evidence, this review aims to offer evidence‐based recommendations for effectively managing bromhidrosis, considering factors such as treatment efficacy, safety profiles, patient preferences, and clinical outcomes. The People's Republic of China obtained at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games its best historical performance in the triple jump, thereby winning the silver medal. The objective of this case study was to present how evidence-based knowledge was applied to improve selected factors that may have contributed to this result. The factors included running speed, strength, muscle power, jumping technique, body composition, mental preparation, training organization, and recovery. Short training blocks, monitoring of training sessions and athlete's status, individualized tapering, use of activation sessions the day before competition, and postactivation performance enhancement strategies used in training and at the event were concepts followed during the preparation to the Games. Improved performance in field tests and power training was accompanied by positive changes in approach speed, run-up accuracy, and jumping technique, which, together with mental preparation, enabled two personal records to be set in the Olympic final. The results in the field tests were among the best ever reported and could constitute a benchmark for world-class triple jumpers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To explore the correlation between facial San Ting and Cattell's 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) factors of undergraduates and graduates at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM). San Ting is a Chinese term meaning the three parts of a human face, from upper to lower. Methods The MARS industrial camera was used to collect the facial images, and the 16 PF was used to evaluate the personality of college students recruited by BUCM. Facial San Ting features were measured by the software FaceDiag. Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between each indicator of facial San Ting and 16PF. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to explore the correlation between 16PF and facial San Ting, with 16PF as the dependent variable. The index of facial San Ting with significant correlation was incorporated into the multiple linear regression model to predict the 16PF factors, and age and sex were controlled. Results A total of 904 students were recruited. There was a significant positive correlation between the Zhong Ting area ratio and sensitivity factor score and a significant negative correlation between the Zhong Ting area ratio and the emotional and calm alertness factor score. There was a significant positive correlation between the Zhong Ting height ratio and the factor score of warmth and a negative correlation between the factor score of emotional/ calm alertness and the width of Shang Ting / width of Zhong Ting. Moreover, the width of Shang Ting and Xia Ting ratio was positively correlated with the sensitivity and creative ability factor. There was a significant positive correlation between the width of Shang Ting / width of Zhong Ting and reasoning and vigilance. Conclusion The features of facial San Ting are correlated with 16PF to some extent, providing a basis for the enrichment and development of TCM inspection and constitution identification. Rice is the most important food crop in China and its production ranks first in three major grain crops which are wheat, rice and corn. Therefore, it is very important to understand planting area and growth of rice. Because change detection is time-sensitive, remote sensing data is often used as a data source for it. Most of widely-used change detection methods using TM image are at pixel level, or only use image of single time phase. Based on multi-temporal Landsat TM images, this research extracted change area of rice planting in Pingle County. The process explored the methods of calculating changes in intensity and determining the threshold. First, the paper selected images of heading stage and harvest stage as data sources, and except for crops, there are no significant changes of ground objects in a few months. Since the spectral characteristics of late rice in the two periods are different from those of other crops, the changes of the images at two stages in the same year could be used to extract the change area of rice planting. In the process, change vector analysis method, correlation coefficient method and vector similarity method were used to calculate the change intensity. Otsu method, minimum error rate method and the method based on double window with variable step size were used to determine the threshold of the change intensity map. The change area maps of rice planting extracted by nine combinations of the methods were compared. Comprehensive utilization of three methods for extracting changes could get change area of rice planting with higher accuracy. This paper chose minimum error rate method based on histogram curvature or the method based on double window with variable step size to determine the threshold. The intersection of change area based on change vector analysis method and change area based on correlation coefficient method could inhibit the pseudo change of river beach and mountain shadow. Then the rice area was extracted exactly according to the difference between NDVI values and the object-oriented method. In order to refine the change detection of rice planting areas, the change areas of all ground objects and the change area of rice planting in two years were intersected to get the final variation for rice planting area. The results showed that the inhibitory effect of change vector analysis method for river beach change was better than correlation coefficient method, and yet the inhibition effect of correlation coefficient method for mountain shadow was better than change vector analysis method. Besides, vector similarity method was sensitive to mountain shadow and had low sensitivity to paddy field change. Among the three threshold determination methods, minimum error rate method was more accurate than Otsu method and more stable than the method based on double window with variable step size. Finally, the overall accuracy of change detection for late rice's planting area in Pingle County reached 96.8% in confusion matrix for verification. The error of the change area was 2.85% compared with the statistical data. This method could effectively extract the change of rice planting area in Pingle County. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
