The distinct characteristics of multiomics data, including complex interactions within and across biological layers and disease heterogeneity (e.g., heterogeneity in etiology and clinical symptoms), drive us to develop novel designs to address unique challenges in multiomics prediction. In this paper, we propose the multi-view knowledge transfer learning (MVKTrans) framework, which transfers intra- and inter-omics knowledge in an adaptive manner by reviewing data heterogeneity and suppressing bias transfer, thereby enhancing classification performance. Specifically, we design a graph contrastive module that is trained on unlabeled data to effectively learn and transfer the underlying intra-omics patterns to the supervised task. This unsupervised pretraining promotes learning general and unbiased representations for each modality, regardless of the downstream tasks. In light of the varying discriminative capacities of modalities across different diseases and/or samples, we introduce an adaptive and bi-directional cross-omics distillation module. This module automatically identifies richer modalities and facilitates dynamic knowledge transfer from more informative to less informative omics, thereby enabling a more robust and generalized integration. Extensive experiments on four real biomedical datasets demonstrate the superior performance and robustness of MVKTrans compared to the state-of-the-art. Efficient and accurate evaluation is crucial for the continuous improvement of large language models (LLMs). Among various assessment methods, subjective evaluation has garnered significant attention due to its superior alignment with real-world usage scenarios and human preferences. However, human-based evaluations are costly and lack reproducibility, making precise automated evaluators (judgers) vital in this process. In this report, we introduce \textbf{CompassJudger-1}, the first open-source \textbf{all-in-one} judge LLM. CompassJudger-1 is a general-purpose LLM that demonstrates remarkable versatility. It is capable of: 1. Performing unitary scoring and two-model comparisons as a reward model; 2. Conducting evaluations according to specified formats; 3. Generating critiques; 4. Executing diverse tasks like a general LLM. To assess the evaluation capabilities of different judge models under a unified setting, we have also established \textbf{JudgerBench}, a new benchmark that encompasses various subjective evaluation tasks and covers a wide range of topics. CompassJudger-1 offers a comprehensive solution for various evaluation tasks while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to diverse requirements. When tracking maneuvering targets, model-driven approaches encounter difficulties in comprehensively delineating complex real-world scenarios and are prone to model mismatch when the targets maneuver. Meanwhile, contemporary data-driven methods have overlooked measurements' confidence, markedly escalating the challenge of fitting a mapping from measurement sequences to target state sequences. To address these issues, this paper presents a deep maneuvering target tracking methodology based on target state space projection. The proposed methodology initially establishes a projection from the target measurement sequence to the target state space by formulating the probability density function of measurement error and samples the distribution information of measurement noise within the target state space as a measurement representation. Under this representation, the sequential regression task of target state estimation can be transmuted into a task of detecting the target location in the state space. Subsequently, a deep detection network is devised to accomplish target location detection in the target state space. Finally, a loss function is designed to facilitate the network's training for attaining the desired network performance. Simulation experiments suggest that the proposed method can maintain satisfactory tracking performance even when the target maneuvers, and can rapidly converge and achieve higher estimation accuracy compared with existing methods after the target maneuvers.

Multi-frame detection algorithms can effectively utilize the correlation between consecutive echoes to improve the detection performance of weak targets. Existing efficient multi-frame detection algorithms are typically based on three sequential steps: plot extraction via a relative low primary threshold, track search and track detection. However, these three-stage processing algorithms may result in a notable loss of detection performance and do not fully leverage the available echo information across frames. As to applying graph neural networks in multi-frame detection, the algorithms are primarily based on node classification tasks, which cannot directly output target tracks. In this paper, we reformulate the multi-frame detection problem as a link prediction task in graphs. First, we perform a rough association of multi-frame observations that exceed the low threshold to construct observation association graphs. Subsequently, a multi-feature link prediction network is designed based on graph neural networks, which integrates multi-dimensional information, including echo structure, Doppler information, and spatio-temporal coupling of plots. By leveraging the principle of link prediction, we unifies the processes of track search and track detection into one step to reduce performance loss and directly output target tracks. Experimental results indicate that, compared with traditional single-frame and multi-frame detection algorithms, the proposed algorithm improves the detection performance of weak targets while suppressing false alarms. Additionally, interpretable analysis shows that the designed network effectively integrates the utilized features, allowing for accurate associations between targets and false alarms.

DNA codes have garnered significant interest due to their utilization in digital media storage, cryptography, and DNA computing. In this paper, we first extend the results of constructing reversible group codes \cite{Cengellenmis} and reversible composite group codes \cite{Korban5} to general even-order finite groups. By using these results, we give parallel searching algorithms to find some new DNA codes with better parameters. Secondly, by mapping codes over $\mathbb{F}_4$ to DNA codes, we establish a relationship between the $GC$-weight enumerator of DNA codes and the Hamming weight enumerator of their trace codes, which greatly improves the computational efficiency of searching for DNA codes. Based on this relationship, we propose an efficient algorithm for generating DNA codes with $50\%$ $GC$-content. Furthermore, we find that there is no direct connection between the $GC$-weight enumerator of a DNA code and the $GC$-weight enumerator of its dual code. Finally, we present algorithms for determining whether a DNA code is free from secondary structures or conflict-free, and some new DNA codes with better parameters under multiple constraints are obtained, which are listed in Tables 1 and 4.

Few-weight codes have been constructed and studied for many years, since their fascinating relations to finite geometries, strongly regular graphs and Boolean functions. Simplex codes are one-weight Griesmer $[\frac{q^k-1}{q-1},k ,q^{k-1}]_q$-linear codes and they meet all Griesmer bounds of the generalized Hamming weights of linear codes. All the subcodes with dimension $r$ of a $[\frac{q^k-1}{q-1},k ,q^{k-1}]_q$-simplex code have the same subcode support weight $\frac{q^{k-r}(q^r-1)}{q-1}$ for $1\leq r\leq k$. One of the most significant vulnerabilities in the source unit of quantum key distribution (QKD) is the correlation between quantum states after modulation, which shall be characterized and evaluated for its practical security performance. In this work, we propose a methodology to characterize the intensity correlation according to the single-photon detection results in the measurement unit without modifying the configuration of the QKD system. In contrast to the previous research that employs extra classical optical detector to measure the correlation, our method can directly analyse the detection data generated during the raw key exchange, enabling to characterize the feature of correlation in real-time system operation. The basic method is applied to a BB84 QKD system and the characterized correlation decreases the secure key rate shown by the security proof. Furthermore, the method is extended and applied to characterize the correlation from the result of Bell-state measurement, which demonstrates its applicability to a running full-scheme MDI QKD system. This study provides an approach for standard certification of a QKD system.

Recently, Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) achieved impressive results in novel view synthesis. Block-NeRF showed the capability of leveraging NeRF to build large city-scale models. For large-scale modeling, a mass of image data is necessary. Collecting images from specially designed data-collection vehicles can not support large-scale applications. How to acquire massive high-quality data remains an opening problem. Noting that the automotive industry has a huge amount of image data, crowd-sourcing is a convenient way for large-scale data collection. In this paper, we present a crowd-sourced framework, which utilizes substantial data captured by production vehicles to reconstruct the scene with the NeRF model. This approach solves the key problem of large-scale reconstruction, that is where the data comes from and how to use them. Firstly, the crowd-sourced massive data is filtered to remove redundancy and keep a balanced distribution in terms of time and space. Then a structure-from-motion module is performed to refine camera poses. Finally, images, as well as poses, are used to train the NeRF model in a certain block. We highlight that we present a comprehensive framework that integrates multiple modules, including data selection, sparse 3D reconstruction, sequence appearance embedding, depth supervision of ground surface, and occlusion completion. The complete system is capable of effectively processing and reconstructing high-quality 3D scenes from crowd-sourced data. Extensive quantitative and qualitative experiments were conducted to validate the performance of our system. Moreover, we proposed an application, named first-view navigation, which leveraged the NeRF model to generate 3D street view and guide the driver with a synthesized video.

Brain transcriptomics provides insights into the molecular mechanisms by which the brain coordinates its functions and processes. However, existing multimodal methods for predicting Alzheimer's disease (AD) primarily rely on imaging and sometimes genetic data, often neglecting the transcriptomic basis of brain. Furthermore, while striving to integrate complementary information between modalities, most studies overlook the informativeness disparities between modalities. Here, we propose TMM, a trusted multiview multimodal graph attention framework for AD diagnosis, using extensive brain-wide transcriptomics and imaging data. First, we construct view-specific brain regional co-function networks (RRIs) from transcriptomics and multimodal radiomics data to incorporate interaction information from both biomolecular and imaging perspectives. Next, we apply graph attention (GAT) processing to each RRI network to produce graph embeddings and employ cross-modal attention to fuse transcriptomics-derived embedding with each imagingderived embedding. Finally, a novel true-false-harmonized class probability (TFCP) strategy is designed to assess and adaptively adjust the prediction confidence of each modality for AD diagnosis. We evaluate TMM using the AHBA database with brain-wide transcriptomics data and the ADNI database with three imaging modalities (AV45-PET, FDG-PET, and VBM-MRI). The results demonstrate the superiority of our method in identifying AD, EMCI, and LMCI compared to state-of-the-arts. Code and data are available at https://github.com/Yaolab-fantastic/TMM.

The numerical simulation of supersonic complex flow problems demands capabilities in identifying multiscale structures and capturing shocks, imposing stringent requirements on the numerical scheme. The capability to identify multiscale structures is closely related to the spectral properties of the numerical scheme. Currently, existing methods to improve the spectral properties of finite difference schemes face shortcomings such as parallel difficulties (compact methods) or introducing unnecessary dispersion errors at low wavenumbers due to accuracy loss (spectral-like optimization methods). In this paper, we proposed an order-preserving spectral properties optimization method based on the group velocity control theory: the weighted group velocity control (WGVC) scheme. This method, centered around the concept of group velocity, achieves low-wavenumber accuracy control and mid-wavenumber group velocity control by designing smoothness indicators and nonlinear weighting approach for wave packets. Furthermore, by embedding the WGVC scheme into shock-capturing schemes such as WENO/TENO scheme, we not only preserve the spectral properties of the WGVC scheme at medium to low wavenumbers but also enhance the shock-capturing capability of the scheme. Theoretical and numerical experiments verify that the new method has advantages such as order-preserving, small dispersion and dissipation errors, and is very suitable for numerical simulation of complex flow problems such as turbulence-shock boundary layer interactions.

Recent advancements in large language models (LLMs) have showcased significant improvements in mathematics. However, traditional math benchmarks like GSM8k offer a unidimensional perspective, falling short in providing a holistic assessment of the LLMs' math capabilities. To address this gap, we introduce MathBench, a new benchmark that rigorously assesses the mathematical capabilities of large language models. MathBench spans a wide range of mathematical disciplines, offering a detailed evaluation of both theoretical understanding and practical problem-solving skills. The benchmark progresses through five distinct stages, from basic arithmetic to college mathematics, and is structured to evaluate models at various depths of knowledge. Each stage includes theoretical questions and application problems, allowing us to measure a model's mathematical proficiency and its ability to apply concepts in practical scenarios. MathBench aims to enhance the evaluation of LLMs' mathematical abilities, providing a nuanced view of their knowledge understanding levels and problem solving skills in a bilingual context. For any simple-root constacyclic code $\mathcal{C}$ over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$, as far as we know, the group $\mathcal{G}$ generated by the multiplier, the constacyclic shift and the scalar multiplications is the largest subgroup of the automorphism group ${\rm Aut}(\mathcal{C})$ of $\mathcal{C}$. In this paper, by calculating the number of $\mathcal{G}$-orbits of $\mathcal{C}\backslash\{\bf 0\}$, we give an explicit upper bound on the number of non-zero weights of $\mathcal{C}$ and present a necessary and sufficient condition for $\mathcal{C}$ to meet the upper bound. Some examples in this paper show that our upper bound is tight and better than the upper bounds in [Zhang and Cao, FFA, 2024]. In particular, our main results provide a new method to construct few-weight constacyclic codes. Furthermore, for the constacyclic code $\mathcal{C}$ belonging to two special types, we obtain a smaller upper bound on the number of non-zero weights of $\mathcal{C}$ by substituting $\mathcal{G}$ with a larger subgroup of ${\rm Aut}(\mathcal{C})$. The results derived in this paper generalize the main results in [Chen, Fu and Liu, IEEE-TIT, 2024]}.

The evolution of Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT and GPT-4 has sparked discussions on the advent of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). However, replicating such advancements in open-source models has been challenging. This paper introduces InternLM2, an open-source LLM that outperforms its predecessors in comprehensive evaluations across 6 dimensions and 30 benchmarks, long-context modeling, and open-ended subjective evaluations through innovative pre-training and optimization techniques. The pre-training process of InternLM2 is meticulously detailed, highlighting the preparation of diverse data types including text, code, and long-context data. InternLM2 efficiently captures long-term dependencies, initially trained on 4k tokens before advancing to 32k tokens in pre-training and fine-tuning stages, exhibiting remarkable performance on the 200k ``Needle-in-a-Haystack" test. InternLM2 is further aligned using Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and a novel Conditional Online Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (COOL RLHF) strategy that addresses conflicting human preferences and reward hacking. By releasing InternLM2 models in different training stages and model sizes, we provide the community with insights into the model's evolution.

DNA codes have many applications, such as in data storage, DNA computing, etc. Good DNA codes have large sizes and satisfy some certain constraints. In this paper, we present a new construction method for reversible DNA codes. We show that the DNA codes obtained using our construction method can satisfy some desired constraints and the lower bounds of the sizes of some DNA codes are better than the known results. We also give new lower bounds on the sizes of some DNA codes of lengths $80$, $96$ and $160$ for some fixed Hamming distance $d$.

The math abilities of large language models can represent their abstract reasoning ability. In this paper, we introduce and open-source our math reasoning LLMs InternLM-Math which is continue pre-trained from InternLM2. We unify chain-of-thought reasoning, reward modeling, formal reasoning, data augmentation, and code interpreter in a unified seq2seq format and supervise our model to be a versatile math reasoner, verifier, prover, and augmenter. These abilities can be used to develop the next math LLMs or self-iteration. InternLM-Math obtains open-sourced state-of-the-art performance under the setting of in-context learning, supervised fine-tuning, and code-assisted reasoning in various informal and formal benchmarks including GSM8K, MATH, Hungary math exam, MathBench-ZH, and MiniF2F. Our pre-trained model achieves 30.3 on the MiniF2F test set without fine-tuning. We further explore how to use LEAN to solve math problems and study its performance under the setting of multi-task learning which shows the possibility of using LEAN as a unified platform for solving and proving in math. Cyclic BCH codes and negacyclic BCH codes form important subclasses of cyclic codes and negacyclic codes, respectively, and can produce optimal linear codes in many cases. To the best of our knowledge, there are few results on the dual codes of cyclic and negacyclic BCH codes. In this paper, we study the dual codes of narrow-sense cyclic BCH codes of length $q^m+1$ over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$, where $q$ is an odd prime power, and the dual codes of narrow-sense negacyclic BCH codes of length $\frac{q^{m}+1}{2}$ over $\mathbb{F}_q$, where $q$ is an odd prime power satisfying $q\equiv 3~({\rm mod}~4)$. Some lower bounds on the minimum distances of the dual codes are established, which are very close to the true minimum distances of the dual codes in many cases. Sufficient and necessary conditions for the even-like subcodes of narrow-sense cyclic BCH codes of length $q^{m}+1$ being cyclic dually-BCH codes are given in terms of designed distances, where $q$ is odd and $m$ is odd or $m\equiv 2~({\rm mod~}4)$. The concept of negacyclic dually-BCH codes is proposed, and sufficient and necessary conditions in terms of designed distances are presented to ensure that narrow-sense negacyclic BCH codes of length $\frac{q^{m}+1}{2}$ are dually-BCH codes, where $q\equiv 3~({\rm mod}~4)$.

BCH codes form an important subclass of cyclic codes, and are widely used in compact discs, digital audio tapes and other data storage systems to improve data reliability. As far as we know, there are few results on $q$-ary BCH codes of length $n=\frac{q^{m}+1}{q+1}$. This is because it is harder to deal with BCH codes of such length. In this paper, we study $q$-ary BCH codes with lengths $n=\frac{q^{m}+1}{q+1}$ and $n=q^m+1$. These two classes of BCH codes are always LCD codes. For $n=\frac{q^{m}+1}{q+1}$, the dimensions of narrow-sense BCH codes of length $n$ with designed distance $\delta=\ell q^{\frac{m-1}{2}}+1$ are determined, where $q>2$ and $2\leq \ell \leq q-1$. Moreover, the largest coset leader is given for $m=3$ and the first two largest coset leaders are given for $q=2$. The parameters of BCH codes related to the first few largest coset leaders are investigated. Some binary BCH codes of length $n=\frac{2^m+1}{3}$ have optimal parameters. For ternary narrow-sense BCH codes of length $n=3^m+1$, a lower bound on the minimum distance of their dual codes is developed, which is good in some cases.

Function-correcting codes are a class of codes designed to protect the function evaluation of a message against errors whose key advantage is the reduced redundancy. In this paper, we extend function-correcting codes from binary symmetric channels to symbol-pair read channels. We introduce irregular-pair-distance codes and connect them with function-correcting symbol-pair codes. Using the connection, we derive general upper and lower bounds on the optimal redundancy of function-correcting symbol-pair codes. Interacting with human via high-quality multi-turn dialogues is a key feature of large language models (LLMs). However, human-based evaluation of such capability involves intensive manual labor. This report provides a preliminary evaluation of existing large language models for human-style multi-turn chatting, through an LLM-based approach. We start from real-world human dialogues and keep the very first utterances as the ChatSEED. Then we prompt LLMs to generate a full multi-turn dialogue (tens of utterances) based on the ChatSEED, utterance by utterance. Finally, we adopt state-of-the-art LLMs (GPT-4, \etc) as the judge to evaluate the generated dialogues. With different evaluation protocols, we come to substantially identical conclusions. We find that GPT-4 can generate human-style multi-turn dialogues with impressive quality, significantly outperforms its counterparts. It's difficult for a discriminator to distinguish between GPT-4 generated dialogues and human dialogues. In contrast, other LLMs struggle to generate multi-turn dialogues of satisfactory quality due to poor instruction-following capability, tendency to generate lengthy utterances, or limited general capability. With the massive amount of digital data generated everyday, transactions of digital goods become a trend. One of the essential requirements for such transactions is fairness, which is defined as that both of the seller and the buyer get what they want, or neither. Current fair trade protocols generally involve a trusted third-party (TTP), which achieves fairness by heavily relying on the TTP's behaviors and the two parties' trust in the TTP. With the emergence of Blockchain, its decentralization and transparency make it a very good candidate to replace the TTP. In this work, we attempt to design a secure and fair protocol for digital goods transactions through smart contracts on Blockchain. To ensure security of the digital goods, we propose an advanced passive proxy re-encryption (PRE) scheme, which enables smart contracts to transfer the decryption right to a buyer after receiving his/her payment. Furthermore, based on smart contracts and the proposed passive PRE scheme, a fair trade protocol for digital goods transactions is proposed, whose fairness is guaranteed by the arbitration protocol. The proposed protocol supports Ciphertext publicity and repeatable sale, while involving less number of interactions. Comprehensive experiment results validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed protocol.

Subspace codes have important applications in random network coding. It is interesting to construct subspace codes with both sizes, and the minimum distances are as large as possible. In particular, cyclic constant dimension subspaces codes have additional properties which can be used to make encoding and decoding more efficient. In this paper, we construct large cyclic constant dimension subspace codes with minimum distances $2k-2$ and $2k$. These codes are contained in $\mathcal{G}_q(n, k)$, where $\mathcal{G}_q(n, k)$ denotes the set of all $k$-dimensional subspaces of $\mathbb{F}_{q^n}$. Let C be an arbitrary simple-root cyclic code and let G be the subgroup of Aut(C) (the automorphism group of C) generated by the multiplier, the cyclic shift and the scalar multiplications. To the best of our knowledge, the subgroup G is the largest subgroup of Aut(C). In this paper, an explicit formula, in some cases an upper bound, for the number of orbits of G on C\{0} is established. An explicit upper bound on the number of non-zero weights of C is consequently derived and a necessary and sufficient condition for the code C meeting the bound is exhibited. Many examples are presented to show that our new upper bounds are tight and are strictly less than the upper bounds in [Chen and Zhang, IEEE-TIT, 2023]. In addition, for two special classes of cyclic codes, smaller upper bounds on the number of non-zero weights of such codes are obtained by replacing G with larger subgroups of the automorphism groups of these codes. As a byproduct, our main results suggest a new way to find few-weight cyclic codes.

Recently, 3D object detection has attracted significant attention and achieved continuous improvement in real road scenarios. The environmental information is collected from a single sensor or multi-sensor fusion to detect interested objects. However, most of the current 3D object detection approaches focus on developing advanced network architectures to improve the detection precision of the object rather than considering the dynamic driving scenes, where data collected from sensors equipped in the vehicle contain various perturbation features. As a result, existing work cannot still tackle the perturbation issue. In order to solve this problem, we propose a group equivariant bird's eye view network (GeqBevNet) based on the group equivariant theory, which introduces the concept of group equivariant into the BEV fusion object detection network. The group equivariant network is embedded into the fused BEV feature map to facilitate the BEV-level rotational equivariant feature extraction, thus leading to lower average orientation error. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the GeqBevNet, the network is verified on the nuScenes validation dataset in which mAOE can be decreased to 0.325. Experimental results demonstrate that GeqBevNet can extract more rotational equivariant features in the 3D object detection of the actual road scene and improve the performance of object orientation prediction., Comment: 8 pages,3 figures

Subspace minimization conjugate gradient (SMCG) methods have become a class of quite efficient iterative methods for unconstrained optimization and have attracted extensive attention recently. Usually, the search directions of SMCG methods are generated by minimizing approximate models with the approximation matrix $ B_k $ of the objective function at the current iterate over the subspace spanned by the current gradient $ g_k $ and the latest search direction. The $ g_k^TB_kg_k $ must be estimated properly in the calculation of the search directions, which is crucial to the theoretical properties and the numerical performance of SMCG methods. It is a great challenge to estimate it properly. The projection technique has been used successfully to generate conjugate gradient directions such as Dai-Kou conjugate gradient direction. Motivated by the above two observations, in the paper we present a new subspace minimization conjugate gradient methods by using a projection technique based on the memoryless quasi-Newton method. More specially, we project the search direction of the memoryless quasi-Newton method into the subspace spanned by the current gradient and the latest search direction and drive a new search direction, which is proved to be descent. Remarkably, the proposed method without any line search enjoys the finite termination property for two dimensional convex quadratic functions, which is helpful for designing algorithm. An adaptive scaling factor in the search direction is given based on the above finite termination property. The proposed method does not need to determine the parameter $ \rho_k $ and can be regarded as an extension of Dai-Kou conjugate gradient method. The global convergence of the proposed method is analyzed. Numerical comparisons indicate the proposed method is very promising.

In this article we mainly study linear codes over $\mathbb{F}_{2^n}$ and their binary subfield codes. We construct linear codes over $\mathbb{F}_{2^n}$ whose defining sets are the certain subsets of $\mathbb{F}_{2^n}^m$ obtained from mathematical objects called simplicial complexes. We use a result in LFSR sequences to illustrate the relation of the weights of codewords in two special codes obtained from simplical complexes and then determin the parameters of these codes. We construct fiveinfinite families of distance optimal codes and give sufficient conditions for these codes to be minimal.
