Dairy farming is present in many properties in the western region of Paraná and the corn crop is present as the main food of the herd in the form of silage. This work had the objective of measuring residual agrochemical soil in areas of properties belonging to the Cascavel river basin, with a system of production of milk cattle using corn silage. The study was carried out on rural properties in the municipality of Cascavel, corresponding to the geographical coordinates in Latitute 24º 57 '21 "South and Longitude 53º 27' 19", where the soil is Red Latosol Distroferric. The analyzes were carried out after the collection of samples composed of soil in the areas, of the ten selected properties that had corn cultivation. The determining factor in the selection of properties was the basis in family agriculture. The soil samples consisted of 12 simple samples. It was also sought to identify information on the management of agrochemicals on properties and the knowledge of those responsible about the risks to these products. For the extraction, identification and quantification of possible residual agrochemical molecules, the methodology described by the QuEChERS method was adopted. With the accomplishment of this study was identified and quantified in ppb the molecules of compounds: organochlorines: Alachlor, Bicyclo (2.2.1), DDE, Dimethano, Endrin, Endrin Aldehyde, Endrin Ketone, Heptachlor, Heptachlor Ep., Hexachloro benzene, Hexachloro cycl Methoxychlor, Metolachlor, Mitotane, Simazine. And organophosphates: Azinphos-methyl, Chlorpyrifos, Dichlorvos, Disulfoton sulfate, Ethoprophos, Methyl Paraoxon, Mevinphos, Ronnel Fenchlorvos. Some of these molecules have already been suspended for more than ten years, but are still present in the soil, others are in commercialization for crops such as soybeans, however the concentrations found are in accordance with Resolution No. 420 established by CONAMA for soil published in 2009. O uso intensivo de agroquímicos na produção agrícola tem gerado preocupação com a contaminação que podem causar, tanto nos cultivos como no meio ambiente, além do potencial de bioacumulação e por apresentarem fatores resistentes à degradação. A agropecuária leiteira está presente em muitas propriedades na região Oeste do Paraná e a cultura do milho está presente e é o principal alimento do rebanho em forma de silagem. Assim, este trabalho teve como objetivo a mensuração de residual agroquímico no solo em áreas de propriedades pertencentes à bacia hidrográfica do Rio Cascavel, com sistema de produção de bovinocultura de leite que utilizam silagem de milho safrinha. O estudo foi realizado em propriedades rurais do município de Cascavel, correspondente às coordenadas geográficas na Latitude 24º 57’ 21” Sul e Longitude 53º 27’ 19”, onde o solo é Latossolo Vermelho Distroférrico. As análises foram realizadas após a coleta de amostras compostas de solo nas áreas, das dez propriedades selecionadas que tinham o cultivo do milho. O fator determinante na seleção das propriedades foi a base na agricultura familiar. As amostras compostas de solo foram constituídas de 12 amostras simples. Também foram identificadas informações sobre o manejo de produtos agroquímicos nas propriedades e o conhecimento dos responsáveis sobre os riscos desses produtos. Para a extração, identificação e quantificação das possíveis moléculas de residual agroquímico, foi adotada a metodologia descrita pelo método QuEChERS. Durante este estudo, foram identificadas e quantificadas as moléculas de compostos em ppb: organoclorados: Alacloro, Bicyclo (2.2.1), DDE, Dimetano, Endrin, Endrin Aldeído, Endrin Ketone, Heptacloro, Heptacloro Ep., Hexacloro benzeno, Hexacloro cycl., Methoxychlor, Metolachlor, Mitotane, Simazine. E organofosforados: Azinphos-methyl, Chlorpyrifos, Dichlorvos, Disulfoton sulfato, Ethoprophos, Methyl Paraoxon, Mevinphos, Ronnel Fenchlorvos. Algumas dessas moléculas encontradas já tiveram o uso suspenso há mais de dez anos, mas ainda se encontram presentes no solo. Outras estão em comercialização para culturas como a soja, entretanto, as concentrações encontradas estão de acordo com a Resolução nº 420, estabelecida pelo CONAMA para o solo agrícola, a qual foi publicada em 2009.

Thus, access to this data enables the control of additional implements that can be inserted for other purposes. Bean grain dirt is detrimental to the quality and value of the beans; therefore, farmers apply residues that reduce the dirtiness of the beans for a better product. However, the residue distribution equipment has no control over the distribution rate, causing problems of lack or excess product. The present study proposed a system for data collection from agricultural machines, which uses resources and implements embedded electronic devices to collect and decode specific CAN (Controller Area Network) bus data in grain harvesters. Devices and adapters were purchased to be connected to the machinery to collect data from the CAN bus. The data collection results in this study were inconclusive since the manufacturers of agricultural machines use locks in their machine systems, making it impossible for the owners to repair and access the machine systems. Another alleged cause of this adversity in CAN data collection is that some manufacturers do not follow the standard J1939 diagnostic port pinning, thus, making it impossible to correctly couple the CAN port, a situation that was experienced in tests of this study. The methodology selection proved to be satisfactory, delivering reliability to the project and consisting of a system implemented with embedded electronic devices (hardware), which are correctly interconnected, enabling a data collection system that can be used in future studies. The software used in the project proved to be accessible and attainable for implementation in the proposed system; the PolyCAN software proved capable of being implemented in CAN system projects due to its resources, being processed by the Raspberry Pi and accessed remotely via VNC Viewer. The present work contributes to and encourages future studies in the area of embedded systems in agricultural machines, which highlights the insufficiency of specific studies in the area, presents problems faced by farmers who want to repair their machinery, and the importance of investments in laboratories that cooperate for studies of embedded systems in agricultural machines Máquinas agrícolas possuem barramento para comunicação serial de dados, em que trafegam dados provenientes de todos os sistemas e sensores presentes no maquinário; dessa forma, o acesso a esses dados viabiliza o controle de implementos adicionais que podem ser inseridos para outras finalidades. A sujidade de grãos de feijão é prejudicial para a qualidade e valor do grão; desse modo, agricultores aplicam resíduos que reduzem a sujidade do grão cooperando para um produto melhor, contudo, o equipamento de distribuição de resíduo não possui controle na taxa de distribuição, ocasionando problemas de falta ou excesso de produto. O presente estudo propôs um sistema para a coleta de dados de máquinas agrícolas, o qual utiliza recursos e implementa dispositivos da eletrônica embarcada para a coleta e decodificação de dados específicos do barramento CAN (controller area network) em colhedoras de grãos. Dispositivos e adaptadores foram adquiridos para realizar o acoplamento ao maquinário para coleta de dados do barramento CAN. Os resultados das coletas de dados do presente estudo foram inconclusivos, de forma que fabricantes de máquinas agrícolas utilizam-se de bloqueios nos sistemas de seus maquinários, impossibilitando que os proprietários reparem e acessem os sistemas das máquinas. Outro suposto causador dessa adversidade na coleta dos dados CAN é que alguns fabricantes não seguem a pinagem padrão da porta de diagnóstico J1939, assim, impossibilitando acoplamento correto na porta CAN, situação que foi vivenciada em testes deste estudo. A seleção da metodologia utilizada apresentou-se satisfatória, entregando confiabilidade para o projeto, compondo-se de um sistema implementado com dispositivos de eletrônica embarcada (hardwares), os quais se interligam corretamente viabilizando um sistema de coleta de dados que pode ser utilizado em futuros estudos. Os softwares utilizados do projeto mostraram-se acessíveis e atingíveis para a implementação no sistema proposto; o software PolyCAN mostrou-se capaz de ser implementado em projetos de sistema CAN, devido aos seus recursos, sendo processado pela Raspberry Pi e acessado remotamente via VNC Viewer. O presente trabalho contribui e incentiva futuros estudos na área de sistemas embarcados em máquinas agrícolas, o qual evidencia a insuficiência de estudos específicos na área, apresenta problemas enfrentados por agricultores que desejam reparar seus maquinários e a importância de investimentos em laboratórios que cooperem para estudos de sistemas embarcados em máquinas agrícolas

Gross Primary Production (GPP) is a biophysical parameter of any ecosystem and can assist understanding the spatial and temporal dynamics of carbon flows. The use of orbital remote sensing techniques has been a valuable tool because it allows a panoramic view, at different scales, with high precision and lower operating cost when compared to the traditional techniques of monitoring land use and carbon cycle cover. Although several researches have been successful in using remote orbital sensors to monitor land use and land cover and quantify GPP, the main challenge is developing a systematic and able methodology that makes it easy to identify land use, land cover and to obtain GPP values. An alternative to solve these demands is the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform, a geographic spatial data repository that enables large-scale environmental data analysis with broad computational capabilities as it uses Google servers for processing and storage. Thus, paper 1 aims at developing a systematic methodology to classify different kinds of land use and land cover with Landsat 8 images on GEE platform, while paper 2 aims at evaluating the methodology to estimate GPP by remote sensing techniques, based on Landsat 8 sensor images for different kinds of land use and land cover. This methodology is based on the Estimating Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation model - A PAR - by vegetation, associated with the light use efficiency model and was implemented on GEE platform. O sequestro de carbono por biomas terrestres desempenha um papel significativo no ciclo global do carbono para mitigar o aumento de CO2 atmosférico e as consequências por ele causadas nas mudanças climáticas. A Produção Primária Bruta (PPB) é um parâmetro biofísico de qualquer ecossistema e pode auxiliar no entendimento da dinâmica espacial e temporal dos fluxos de carbono. O uso de técnicas de sensoriamento remoto orbital tem se mostrado uma ferramenta valiosa, pois possibilita uma visão panorâmica, em diferentes escalas, com elevada precisão e menor custo operacional em relação às técnicas tradicionais de monitoramento do uso e cobertura da terra e ciclo do carbono. Embora pesquisas tenham obtido relativo êxito na utilização de sensores remotos orbitais para o monitoramento do uso e cobertura da terra e quantificação da PPB, o principal desafio está em desenvolver uma metodologia sistemática, ágil que facilite a identificação do uso e cobertura do solo e obtenção de valores de PPB. Uma alternativa para contornar e solucionar estas demandas é a plataforma Google Earth Engine (GEE), repositório de dados geográficos em nuvem que possibilita a análise de dados ambientais em grande escala e com recursos computacionais amplos, pois utiliza os servidores Google para processamento e armazenamento. Portanto, o objetivo do artigo 1 foi desenvolver uma metodologia sistematizada para classificação de diferentes tipos de uso e cobertura da terra, com imagens de Landsat 8 na plataforma GEE, e o objetivo do artigo 2 foi avaliar a metodologia para estimar a PPB por técnicas de sensoriamento remoto, a partir de imagens do sensor Landsat 8 para diferentes tipos de uso e cobertura da terra. A metodologia de obtenção baseia-se no modelo de estimativa da radiação fotossinteticamente ativa absorvida – RFFA pela vegetação, combinado ao modelo de eficiência do uso da luz e foi implementada na plataforma GEE.

The first paper aimed to carry out a bibliometric literature search on the usage of UAVs in wheat cultivation. A search was executed within the Web of Science database of all scientific papers published until the year 2021. Subsequently, bibliometric literature analysis techniques were applied via the VOSviewer software, through which co-authorships between countries and institutions were evaluated, as well as the co-occurrence of words between the sources. The journals that publish the most on this topic were verified. The results indicated a growing trend of publications on the application of UAVs in the last 7 years, and that China, the United States of America and the United Kingdom are the largest researchers on this theme. China stands out with approximately 40% of the publications. This analysis reveals the main current issues and the most influential institutions around the world that have carried out relevant investigations and presented them in scientific publications. This study emphasizes the journals that include the most publications on the topic and the collaborative patterns related to the usage of UAVs in wheat crop. The platforms most used for this purpose are of the multirotor type, embedded with multispectral cameras. About 27.8% of the publications are related to the thematic axis linked to the monitoring of wheat productivity/phenotyping. The theme is in evidence, but it is needed further studies that focus on the application of drones in regions with high wheat production, such as the countries of South America. The second paper evaluated the performance of machine learning algorithms and multispectral aerial images, in the indirect estimation of wheat grain yield. Two sample areas with different growing seasons were considered, where several flights throughout the phenological cycle of the crop were performed. At the end of the crop cycle, grain yield (t ha-1 ) was determined. The supervised machine learning algorithms tested were: Linear regression (RL); Random forest (RF); Support vector machine (SVM); and Artificial neural network (ANN), combined with visible spectrum (RGB), multispectral and banded vegetation indexes. The RL algorithm, combined with the RGB indexes, displayed better performance in the initial stages of culture (tillering) and final (maturation) with R² = 0.61 and R² = 0.58. The SVM algorithm presented higher values in the rubberization – coming into ear phase, with the interaction of the red edge, red and green bands (R² = 0.78 and RMSE = 0.479 t ha-1 ). Therefore, it is feasible to use these variables and algorithms to determine wheat yield. Altogether, it was found that this is a viable, relatively new and promising application of the technology. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi entender a aplicação do uso de VANTs no manejo da cultura do trigo. O primeiro artigo teve por objetivo realizar uma pesquisa bibliométrica de literatura sobre o uso de VANTs na cultura de trigo, sendo realizada pesquisa na base de dados da Web of Science, de artigos científicos publicados até o ano de 2021. Posteriormente, foram aplicadas técnicas de análise bibliométrica de literatura através do software VOSviewer, pelas quais avaliaram-se as co-autorias entre países e instituições, bem como as coocorrências de palavras entre as obras. Foram verificados os periódicos que mais publicam sobre essa temática. Os resultados indicaram uma tendência crescente de publicações sobre o uso de VANTs, nos últimos 7 anos, e que China, Estados Unidos da América e Reino Unido são os maiores pesquisadores desse tema. A China se destaca com, aproximadamente, 40% das publicações. Essa análise revela os principais assuntos atuais e as instituições mais influentes em todo o mundo que realizaram pesquisas relevantes e as apresentaram em publicações científicas. Este estudo destaca os periódicos que incluem mais publicações sobre o tema e os padrões colaborativos relacionados ao uso de VANTs na cultura do trigo. As plataformas mais utilizadas para essa finalidade são do tipo multirotor, embarcados com câmeras multipesctrais. Cerca de 27,8% das publicações são sobre o eixo temático ligado ao monitoramento da produtividade/fenotipagem do trigo. A temática está em evidência, porém são necessários maiores estudos com emprego de drones em regiões com alta produção tritícola, como os países da América do Sul. O segundo artigo avaliou o desempenho de algoritmos de aprendizado de máquina e imagens aéreas multiespectrais, na estimativa indireta da produtividade de grãos de trigo. Foram utilizadas duas áreas amostrais com épocas de cultivo diferentes, com diversos voos ao longo do ciclo fenológico da cultura. Ao término do ciclo da cultura foi determinada a produtividade de grãos (t ha-1 ). Os algoritmos de aprendizado supervisionado de máquina testados foram: Regressão linear (RL); Random forest (RF); Support vector machine (SVM) e Artificial neural network (ANN), combinados com índices de vegetação do espectro visível (RGB), multiespectrais e bandas. O algoritmo RL, combinado com os índices do RGB, apresentou melhor desempenho nas fases iniciais da cultura (perfilhamento) e final (maturação) com R² = 0,61 e R² = 0,58. O algoritmo SVM apresentou maiores valores na fase de emborrachamento – espigamento, com interação das bandas do red edge, red e green (R² = 0,78 e RMSE = 0,479 t ha-1 ). Portanto, é viável a utilização dessas variáveis e algoritmos na determinação da produtividade do trigo. As a result, understanding factors that affect crop yield and quality will be essential to face future challenges regarding agricultural fluctuations, mainly caused by global climate change, water demand and soil limitations. The total protein contained in cultivated grains is imperative for the final use of cereal flour, however, total protein measurements are time consuming and high-cost analyses. For this reason, the operation of remote sensing techniques to estimate protein content and grain yield is extremely important for the agricultural producer, in addition to being a non-destructive technique, which makes it possible to obtain prior information on the grain quality with the crop still in the field and in a spatialized way. Therefore, the objective of this study was to estimate biophysical characteristics and grain quality of wheat crops based on the leaf spectrum acquired by hyperspectral sensor with chemometric techniques, such as partial least squares regression (PLSR). The experiment was carried out on a rural property in the municipality of Céu Azul - PR, where meteorological stations are installed for climate data collection. Field analyses were carried out, such as leaf spectroscopy with hyperspectral sensor and laboratory analyses, including leaf pigment content (chlorophyll and carotenoids), protein content and grain hectoliter weight and yield. When estimating chlorophyll A and chlorophyll B, it was obtained mean square error (MSE) between 1.9 and 27.66 µg cm-2 and coefficient of determination (R²) from -0.12 to 0.1, demonstrating lack of model adjustment for the estimation of these parameters. For the estimation of carotenoids, MSE from 0.59 to 1.93 and R² from -0.2 to 0.46 were obtained, demonstrating, likewise, lack of model adjustment for the estimation of these parameters. Regarding the estimates of grain quality parameters, the models also showed a lack of adjustment, given that, for the grain protein content, the MSE ranged from 0.12 to 0.97% with R² between -0.09 and 0.39, evidencing that the phenological stage of booting displayed lower MSE and higher R² for both crops under study. In the estimation of hectoliter weight (PHEC), the MSE values varied from 1 to 1.53, and R² from - 0.02 to 0.22. The lack of model adjustment was due to the low amplitude of variation of the sample database (pigments and quality parameters). The utilization of data from commercial fields is not ideal for the elaboration of PLSR models, requiring conditions that allow a greater range of variation of input data in order to promote the best fit of the model. Com o aumento populacional é crucial aumentar a produção agrícola, para garantir a segurança alimentar e energética. Portanto, entender fatores que afetam o rendimento e a qualidade das safras será importante para enfrentar os futuros desafios, quanto às flutuações agrícolas causadas, principalmente, pelas mudanças climáticas globais, demanda de água e limitações do solo. A proteína total contida nos grãos cultivados é importante para o uso final da farinha de cereais, no entanto as medições de proteína total demandam tempo e são análises de alto custo. Sendo assim, a utilização de técnicas de sensoriamento remoto, para estimar o teor de proteína e o rendimento dos grãos é de extrema importância para o produtor rural, além de ser uma técnica não destrutiva, que possibilita a obtenção de informações prévias da qualidade dos grãos com a cultura ainda em campo e de maneira espacializada. Portanto, o objetivo do trabalho foi estimar características biofísicas e qualidade de grão das culturas de trigo baseado no espectro de folha adquirido por sensor hiperespectral com técnicas de quimiometria como regressão de mínimos quadrados parciais (PLSR). O experimento foi realizado em uma propriedade rural no município de Céu Azul - PR, onde estão instaladas estações meteorológicas para levantamento de dados climáticos. Foram realizadas análises de campo como espectroscopia da folha com sensor hiperespectral e análises de laboratório como: teor de pigmento das folhas (clorofila e carotenoides), teor de proteína e peso hectolitro dos grãos e produtividade. Ao estimar clorofila A e clorofila B obteve-se erro quadrático mínimo (MSE) entre 1,9 e 27,66 µg cm-2 e coeficiente de determinação (R²) de -0,12 a 0,1, demonstrando falta de ajuste do modelo para estimativa desses parâmetros. Para a estimativa de carotenoides obtiveram-se MSE de 0,59 a 1,93 e R² de -0,2 a 0,46, demonstrando falta de ajuste do modelo para estimativa desses parâmetros. Quanto às estimativas de parâmetros de qualidade de grão os modelos também apresentaram falta de ajuste, sendo que para o teor de proteína dos grãos o MSE variou de 0,12 a 0,97% com R² entre -0,09 e 0,39, evidenciando que o estágio fenológico de emborrachamento apresentou menor MSE e maior R² para ambas as safras sob estudo. Na estimativa de peso hectolitro (PHEC), os valores de MSE foram de 1 a 1,53, e R² de -0,02 a 0,22. A falta de ajuste dos modelos se deu devido à baixa amplitude de variação do banco de dados amostral (pigmentos e parâmetros de qualidade). A utilização de dados de talhões comerciais não é ideal para a elaboração de modelos PLSR, necessitando de condições que possibilitem maior amplitude de variação de dados de entrada para promover melhor ajuste do modelo.

Its production basically consists of field, glasshouse, or greenhouse, considering that in the latter it is possible to control temperature, light, and humidity. The main nutritional recommendation is via nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilization. However, soil pH corrections are required via limestone application. Its production can be severely reduced, due to pests and phytosanitary diseases; among these, the parasitoid phytomatomatids of the plant’s root system stand out, being responsible for dwarfism and yellowing of the cultivars, caused by the respective lack of absorption of water and nutrients by the roots. One of the forms of control proposed in this work are applications of four dolomitic limestone treatments (0; 1.41; 2.83; 4.25 g) and calcium and magnesium silicate (0; 0.425;0.850; 1.28 g) with twelve retentions, thus adding up to 48 units in each experiment, in a completely randomized design, in five-liter pots in an oven, 180 days before transplanting the lettuce seedlings. That occurs because calcium is the main component of the cell walls of plants, as well as being responsible for some of these physiological processes. Silicon is a nutrient considered non-essential for plants; however, it helps in the formation of the endoplasmic smooth and rough reticulum and the Golgi complex, acting as a drain to remove sugars originated in the chloroplasts into other parts of the plants, thus reducing its attractiveness to pests and diseases. Silicon is also responsible for the formation of a layer above the epidermis, making the cell wall tougher. Through this, 1000 eggs of Meloidogyne javanica nematodes were inoculated in Regina lettuce cultivars for a period of 60 days, so that two complete cycles of phytonmatoids could take place. Thus, height, fresh and dry matter content of plants were assessed, as well as the content of carotenoids and chlorophyll by spectrophotometry and NDVI, in which it was also possible to calculate the water and photochemical reflectance. At the end, the correlation between the different methods of chlorophyll readings was verified. However, agricultural production is highly influenced by climate variability that causes both positive and negative impacts on crop productivity. Therefore, studies on these variables are relevant, as well as on the dynamics of the crop, through vegetation indices, in a global and regional context, in order to obtain better results in agricultural activities. On that account, the general objective of this research was to analyze the spatial and temporal variabilities of soybean and estimate the yield of this crop by using satellite images in the state of Paraná. For this purpose, ten-year metrics associated with agrometeorological variables (VAs) and improved vegetation index (EVI) during the soybean cycle were evaluated, based on a time series of ECMWF images (European Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasts) and the MODIS sensor (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer), in different agricultural scenarios, corresponding to the 2011/2012, 2013/2014 and 2015/2016 crop years, which were identified with low, medium and high rainfall rates. These indices were evaluated from 2000 to 2016. The dissertation is divided into three articles: in the first and second articles, multivariate techniques were used in order to regionalize the state of Paraná. In the first article, factorial and cluster analyses were used, whilst in the second one multivariate techniques that also consider the spatial dependence of the location of virtual stations (EV), called MULTISPATI-PCA, were applied. And finally, in the third article, soybean productivity in the state of Paraná was estimated by the methods of ordinary least squares (OLS) and geographically weighted regression (GWR), from which the results of these models were compared, in order to obtain a model with the best accuracy and precision possible. In general, the results displayed the formation of similar agroclimatic and spectral regions, obtaining Group 1 (southern mesoregions) with the lowest preferences for the three agricultural scenarios and Group 2 (western mesoregion) with low precipitation and water balance values for the 2011/2012 crop year, the opposite occurring for the 2015/2016 crop year. In addition, the MULTISPATI-PCA method showed linear variations that were more contiguous than the characteristics by classical ACP and well-defined groupings. The western mesoregion must be highlighted when it comes to the low precipitation scenario, because it presented low exclusion values and water balance during the stages of full flowering to grain filling (R2 - R5), causing a low productivity, the opposite occurring for the high precipitation scenario. Finally, the GWR model showed better accuracy and precision in estimating soybean yield, when compared to the OLS model, demonstrating a spatial and temporal heterogeneity between yield and the metrics analyzed in the model. With these results, it is possible to define the most suitable strategies for the cultivation of soybean in the state of Paraná, as which allow to help both farmers and the agencies responsible for crop planning in decision making, providing the best results for productivity. A soja é um dos principais produtos agrícolas e de grande importância para a economia brasileira, pois a partir dela tem-se matéria-prima para a produção de alimentos, combustíveis e aplicações na indústria. Entretanto, a produção agrícola é altamente influenciada pela variabilidade climática que causa tanto impactos positivos quanto negativos na produtividade das culturas. Sendo assim, são relevantes os estudos sobre essas variáveis, bem como sobre a dinâmica da cultura, por meio de índices de vegetação, em contexto global e regional, para obter melhores resultados nas atividades agrícolas. Assim, o objetivo geral deste estudo foi analisar a variabilidade espacial e temporal da soja e estimar a produtividade desta cultura com imagens de satélite no estado do Paraná. Para isso, foram consideradas métricas decendiais associadas às variáveis agrometeorológicas (VAs) e ao índice de vegetação melhorado (EVI) durante o ciclo da soja, a partir de uma série temporal de imagens do European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) e do sensor Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), em diferentes cenários agrícolas, correspondendo aos anos-safra 2011/2012, 2013/2014 e 2015/2016, os quais foram identificados com baixo, médio e alto índices pluviométricos. Esses índices foram avaliados durante o período de 2000 a 2016. A tese está dividida em três artigos: no primeiro e no segundo artigos, foram utilizadas técnicas multivariadas com o objetivo de regionalizar o estado do Paraná. No primeiro artigo, utilizaram-se as análises fatorial e de agrupamento e, no segundo, foram utilizadas técnicas multivariadas que consideram a dependência espacial da localização das estações virtuais (EV) chamada MULTISPATI – PCA. No terceiro artigo, estimou-se a produtividade da soja no estado do Paraná, por meio dos modelos mínimos quadrados ordinários (OLS) e regressão geograficamente ponderada (GWR), comparando-se os resultados desses modelos, a fim de obter um modelo com melhor acurácia e precisão. De modo geral, os resultados apresentaram a formação de regiões agroclimáticas e espectrais semelhantes, obtendo-se o Grupo 1 (mesorregiões ao sul) com as menores temperaturas para os três cenários agrícolas e o Grupo 2 (mesorregião oeste) com baixos valores de precipitação e balanço hídrico para o ano-safra 2011/2012, ocorrendo o oposto para o ano-safra 2015/2016. Além disso, o método MULTISPATI-PCA apresentou combinações lineares mais contíguas que as obtidas pelo ACP clássico e agrupamentos bem definidos. Destacando a mesorregião oeste no cenário de baixa pluviosidade, que apresentou baixos valores de precipitação e balanço hídrico durante os estádios do florescimento pleno até o enchimento de grãos (R2 – R5), ocasionando uma baixa produtividade, ocorrendo o oposto para o cenário de alta pluviosidade. Por fim, o modelo GWR apresentou melhor acurácia e precisão na estimação da produtividade da soja, quando comparado com o modelo OLS, demonstrando a heterogeneidade espacial e temporal entre a produtividade e as métricas analisadas no modelo. Com esses resultados, é possível definir estratégias mais adequadas para o cultivo da soja no estado do Paraná, que permitam auxiliar tanto os agricultores quanto os órgãos responsáveis pelo planejamento de safras na tomada de decisão, proporcionando melhores resultados de produtividade.

The monitoring was carried out throughout 4 agricultural harvests in two areas of a rural property located in the municipality of Toledo – Paraná. Sentinel-2 images (MSI sensor) were used, which were obtained through the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform, as well as images achieved from a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPA). With the productivity data for each harvest, descriptive statistical analyses were executed and, subsequently, correlation analyses among the VIs and the yields, using the Spearman (rs) correlation coefficient. The precision agriculture platform AgDataBox-MAP was used in order to outline the MZs. In it, statistical analyses, filtering of data, removal of influential points (outliers and inliers) and normalization were carried out. The created MZs were evaluated within the following metrics: smoothness index (SI), fuzzy performance index (FPI), modified partition entropy (MPE), improved cluster validation index (ICVI). The similarity of the maps was evaluated according to the Kappa statistics. For the VIs that used RPA images, the highest correlations over the harvests were found for the 2018/2019 soybean crop, with 94 DAS in area 2, and values of 0.72 (GLI and ExG), classified as a strong correlation, 0.53 for VARI and 0.47 for MPRI, as a moderate correlation. From the usage of indexes obtained through images from the Sentinel-2 Satellite, the 2018/2019 soybean crop, with 80 DAS in area 2, showed the highest correlations when it comes to productivity, therefore classified as moderate, 0.58 (NDVI and SAVI) and 0.60 (EVI2 and NDRE). For the remaining periods of time evaluated throughout the 4 harvests, the correlations were classified as: very weak or weak. The application of VIs generated by orbital and aerial remote sensing was proved to be an alternative for the creation of MZs, especially in conditions where there is no possibility of accessing data for soil attributes. In general, the VIs that also use the infrared wavelength presented better values of SI, FPI, MPE and ICVI, which implied that they were more efficient in the design of the MZs. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi delinear zonas de manejo (ZMs), criadas a partir de dados de produtividade média de 4 safras (soja, milho, soja, trigo) e dados de índices de vegetação (IVs), obtidos por sensoriamento remoto orbital e aéreo, utilizando o algoritmo Fuzzy c means. O monitoramento foi realizado em 4 safras, em duas áreas de uma propriedade rural localizada no município de Toledo – Paraná. Utilizaram-se imagens do satélite Sentinel-2 (sensor MSI), obtidas por meio da plataforma Google Earth Engine (GEE) e imagens obtidas através de um Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPA). Com os dados de produtividade de cada safra, foram realizadas análises de estatística descritiva e, posteriormente, análises de correlação entre os IVs e as produtividades, por meio do coeficiente de correlação de Spearman (rs). Utilizou-se a plataforma de agricultura de precisão AgDataBox-MAP para delinear as ZMs. Nela, realizaram-se análises estatísticas, filtragem dos dados, retiradas de pontos influentes (outliers e inliers) e normalização. As ZMs criadas foram avaliadas utilizando-se as métricas: índice de suavidade (SI), índice de desempenho fuzzy (FPI), entropia de partição modificada (MPE), índice de validação de grupos aprimorado (ICVI). A similaridade dos mapas foi avaliada de acordo com o índice de concordância Kappa. Para os IVs que utilizaram as imagens de RPA, as maiores correlações ao longo das safras foram encontradas para cultura de soja 2018/2019, com 94 DAS na área 2, com valores de 0,72 (GLI e ExG), classificadas como correlação forte. 0,53 para VARI e 0,47 para MPRI, sendo correlações moderadas. Utilizando índices obtidos com imagens do satélite Sentinel-2, a safra de soja 2018/2019 com 80 DAS na área 2 foi a que apresentou maiores correlações com produtividade, classificadas como moderadas e 0,58 (NDVI e SAVI) e 0,60 (EVI2 e NDRE). Para as demais datas avaliadas ao longo das 4 safras as correlações foram classificadas como: muito fracas ou fracas. A utilização de IVs gerados por sensoriamento remoto orbital e aéreo se mostraram como alternativa para criação de ZMs, principalmente em condições que não se tem a possibilidade de ter dados de atributos de solos. De maneira geral, os IVs que utilizam o comprimento infravermelho, apresentaram melhores valores de SI, FPI, MPE, ICVI, o que implicou maior eficiência no delineamento das ZMs.

Physical factors influence the rooting capacity of plants, which affects their ability to absorb nutrients and, consequently, the yield. The most commonly used methods to monitor the physical part of the soil are the soil core method and the resistance of the soil to penetration (RSP). The horizontal tensile force of the furrow opener and the working depth it is inserted into the soil are measures that can be correlated with soil compaction levels in a no-tillage system or any other planting system. The main objective of this dissertation was to instrument the Hoe opener, in order to evaluate the correlation among the measurements carried out by the soil core method and the resistance of the soil to penetration with the strength and depth of the rod. In the first chapter, in the 0–0.2 m layer, the interaction between horizontal force and two motion speeds of the seeder, corresponding to 1.58 and 1.87 m s–1, was evaluated at four compaction levels (0, 1, 3, 5 passes + ballast), which were artificially obtained from the passes of a farm tractor. In the 0–0.5 m layer, Pearson correlations were observed, ranging from 0.73 to 0.74 of the rod force, with the RSP; as well as correlations with the attributes monitored by the soil core method, ranging from 0.57 to 0.72. In order to expand the research, the most relevant correlations with the RSP were observed, ranging from 0.81 to 0.68. In the 0.05–0.10 m layer, lower correlation values were found, ranging from 0.52 to 0.67. At the motion speed of 1.58 m s–1 , there was a greater number of correlations, considering that, at this momentum, the mechanism that presses the rod against the soil managed to keep it at the adjusted working depth. The 0–0.05 m layer had the greatest influence on the furrow opener force. The results found indicate that, during alternative sowing, the horizontal force measurements of the Hoe opener are an alternative to monitor soil compaction. In the second chapter, the spatial correlation between the rod force and the physical attributes of the soil was evaluated in a commercial agricultural area of 7.1 ha. In this study, initially, the assortment of the Hoe opener force was carried out and subsequently 5 levels of such force were selected; considering 4 points per level, the total was 20 points. Afterwards, measurements of the soil resistance to penetration were performed, in addition to the collection of the soil core method and the yield values. From the collected data, maps of high and low sample density were generated, which led to the calculation of the Pearson correlation and the Moran index. Within the analysis of the results, it was observed that, in low-density, the Hoe force was correlated with productivity, density and total porosity. In this case, there is a need to carry out some physical intervention on the ground. In regard to the high-density data, it was observed the concentration of the furrow opener force in some bands where the sprayer’s trail is historically concentrated. For these places, the need for physical intervention in the soil was not verified. Monitoring with greater data density allows for more accurate identification of areas that need intervention, and force monitoring proves to be a useful alternative tool for tracking if there is soil compaction. A produção agrícola é o resultado da interação de uma série de fatores agronômicos separados em três grandes áreas: física, química e biológica. Os fatores físicos influenciam na capacidade de enraizamento das plantas, que influencia na capacidade de absorver nutrientes e, por consequência, a produtividade. Os métodos mais utilizados para monitorar a parte física do solo são o anel volumétrico e a resistência do solo à penetração (RSP). A força horizontal de tração da haste sulcadora e a profundidade de trabalho que ela é inserida no solo são medidas que podem se correlacionar com os níveis de compactação do solo em sistema de plantio direto ou em qualquer outro sistema de plantio. O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi instrumentar uma haste sulcadora e avaliar a correlação entre as medidas realizadas pelo anel volumétrico e a resistência do solo à penetração com a força e profundidade da haste. No primeiro capítulo foi avaliada, na camada de 0–0,2 m, a interação entre a força horizontal e duas velocidades de deslocamento da semeadora 1,58 e 1,87 m s– 1 , em quatro níveis de compactação (0, 1, 3, 5 passadas + lastro), produzidos artificialmente pelas passadas de um trator agrícola. Na camada de 0–0,05 m, observaram-se correlações de Pearson variando de 0,73 para 0,74 da força da haste com a RSP e correlações com os atributos monitorados pelo anel volumétrico variando de 0,57 a 0,72. Para a profundidade de trabalho, observaram-se correlações mais significativas com a RSP variando de 0,81 a 0,68. Na camada de 0,05-0,10 m, foram encontrados valores de correlação menores, variando de 0,52 a 0,67. Na velocidade de deslocamento de 1,58 m s–1 , observou-se maior número de correlações, pois, nessa velocidade, o mecanismo que pressiona a haste contra o solo conseguiu mantê-la na profundidade de trabalho ajustada. A camada de 0–0,05 m foi a que apresentou maior influência na força da haste sulcadora. Os resultados encontrados indicam que as medições de força horizontal da haste sulcadora, durante a semeadura, constituem uma alternativa para monitorar a compactação do solo. No segundo capítulo, foi avaliada a correlação espacial entre a força da haste sulcadora com os atributos físicos do solo, em uma área agrícola comercial de 7,1 ha. Neste trabalho, inicialmente, realizou-se a coleta da força da haste e, em seguida, selecionaram-se 5 níveis de força da haste com 4 pontos por nível, totalizando 20 pontos. Posteriormente, realizaram-se as medições da resistência do solo à penetração, a coleta do anel volumétrico e a produtividade. Com os dados coletados foram gerados mapas de alta e baixa densidade amostral, calculando-se a correlação de Pearson e o índice de Moran. Na análise dos resultados, observou-se que, em baixa densidade, a força da haste apresentou correlação com a produtividade, densidade e porosidade total. Nesse caso, verifica-se a necessidade de realizar alguma intervenção física no solo. Em relação aos dados de alta densidade, observou-se a concentração da força da haste em algumas faixas nas quais, historicamente, se concentra o rastro do pulverizador. Para esses locais não se verificou a mesma necessidade de intervenção física no solo. O monitoramento com maior densidade de dados permite identificar com maior precisão as áreas que precisam de alguma intervenção e o monitoramento da força se mostra uma ferramenta alternativa útil para acompanhar se há compactação no solo.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) O cultivo da soja detém um importante papel no desenvolvimento econômico de muitas regiões do Brasil e do mundo. Neste sentido, a agricultura de precisão associada as ferramentas de sensoriamento remoto são métodos excelentes para auxiliar no gerenciamento e aprimoramento da eficiência produtiva em lavouras de soja. Diante desse contexto,esse trabalho teve como o objetivo principal avaliar o comportamento espectro-temporal da soja por meio deíndices de vegetação em diferentes estádios fenológicos, empregando sensores orbitais e sensor não orbital acoplado em Veículos Aéreos Não Tripulados(VANT). O estudo foi realizado em área de lavoura comercial,localizada no município Pato Branco –PR, onde, durante seu ciclo produtivo,foram realizadas coletas de imagens dos satélites Landsat 8 e Sentinel-2 para extração do Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)e,cinco coletas com sensor RGB,com resolução de 4,0 cm/px, acoplado ao VANT, para obtenção doVisibleAtmospherically Resistant Index(VARI). O processamento e tratamento das imagens foram feitos no software Agisoft Metashape Professional 1.5®e no ArcGIS 10.5®, em que foram gerados o índice VARI do sensor RGB e o NDVI dos Satélites (Landsat 8 e Sentinel-2).Estabeleceu-se uma grade amostral de 50 x 50 m, com 59 pontos, na qualf oram realizadas coletas dos atributos químicos do solo e dos componentes de rendimento da soja para compreender a distribuição espacial dessas variáveis. Por fim, foi realizado a correlação linear de Pearson para a produtividade da soja e dos índices de vegetação. O índice VARI extraído da câmera RGB e o NDVI gerado dos sensores orbitais foram eficientes no monitoramento dos estádios fenológicos da soja, sendo influenciados principalmente pelas diferentes concentrações de clorofila e biomassa. A maioria dos parâmetros químicos do solo apresentaram dependência espacial, com exceção do P que demonstrou efeito pepita puro. A área em estudo apresentou boas condições químicas, especialmente na porção leste, onde ocorreram os maiores níveis de MO, K, Ca, pH, V% e menor teor de Al3+. Todos os componentes de rendimento da soja (número de vagens, número de grãos, número de sementes, peso de mil grãos e produtividade) expressaram dependência espacial moderada. Os maiores valores de número de vagens, número de grãos,peso de mil grãos e produtividade ocorreram na parte leste da propriedade, em que foi observado melhores condições de fertilidade. O VARI apresentou melhor correlação com a produtividade da soja, quando comprado ao NDVI gerado a partir do Sentinel-2 e do Landsat 8.Este resultado demonstra que os sensores RGB associados aos VANTs podem ser empregados de forma eficiente no monitoramento agrícola, proporcionando maior eficiência produtiva. The cultivation of soy has an important role in the economic development of many regions of Brazil and in the world. In this sense, precision agriculture associated with remote sensing tools are excellent methods to assist in the management and improvement of productive efficiency in soybean crops. In this context, this work aimed to evaluate the spectral-temporal behavior of soybeans through vegetation indices at different phenological stages, using orbital sensors and a non-orbital sensor coupled in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). The study was carried out in a commercial farming area,located in the municipality of Pato Branco -PR, where, during its production cycle, image collections from the Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2 satellites were performed to extract the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and, five collections with RGB sensor, with a resolution of 4.0 cm/px, coupled to the UAV, to obtain the Visible Atmospherically Resistant Index (VARI). Imageprocessing and treatment were performed using the Agisoft Metashape Professional 1.5®software and ArcGIS 10.5®, in which the VARI index of the RGB sensor and the NDVI of the Satellites (Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2) were generated. A 50 x 50 m sampling grid,with 59 points, was established, in which collections of soil chemical attributes and soybean yield components were made to understand the spatial distribution of these variables. Finally, Pearson's linear correlation for soybean productivity and vegetation indexes was performed. The VARI index extracted from the RGB camera and the NDVI generated from the orbital sensors were efficient in monitoring the phenological stages of soybeans, being influenced mainly by the different concentrations of chlorophyll and biomass. Most soil chemical parameters were spatially dependent, with the exception of P which demonstrated a pure nugget effect. The area under study showed good chemical conditions, especially in the eastern portion, where the highest levels of MO, K, Ca, pH, V% and lowest Al3+content occurred. All soybean yield components (number of pods, number of grains, number of seeds, weight of a thousand grains and productivity) expressed moderate spatial dependence. The highest values of number of pods, number of grains, weight of a thousand grains and productivity occurred in the eastern part of the property, in which the best fertility conditions were observed. VARI showed a better correlation with soybean productivity, when purchased from NDVI generated from Sentinel-2 and Landsat 8. This result demonstrates that the RGB sensors associated with UAVs can be used efficiently in agricultural monitoring, providing greater productive efficiency.

Applications in precision agriculture use remote sensing practices, such as vegetation indexes, from multispectral images, to measure physical and chemical parameters of plants, along their development cycle. Technological advances allowed the development of innovative services for the agricultural sector, based on the internet and hosted in the cloud. Therefore, the objective of this research was to develop a computational module that integrates and provides remote sensing data for the AgDataBox precision agriculture platform. The developed application allows the persistence of a new area (field), the search for raster images of orbital satellites, the selection vegetation indexes, as well as vectorizing and inserting images of interest in the AgDataBox platform. The proposed module was tested with data from the 2018/2019 corn crop (summer harvest), in a study area at Céu Azul, Paraná. Twelve vectors were generated from Sentinel-2 satellite images, using the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), enhanced vegetation index (EVI) and enhanced vegetation index (EVI-2) of 11/12/2018, 12/16/2018, 15/01/2019 and 25/01/2019 and persisted in the AgDataBox platform. In addition, vectors were persisted with variables of productivity, altitude, sand, silt, clay, mechanical resistance to soil penetration at depths of 0-0.1, 0-0.2, 0.1-0.2, and 0.2-2.3 m. After autocorrelation analysis between the variables, with productivity as the target variable, EVI-2 and altitude were selected as the variables that showed the best cross autocorrelation with the target variable. Management zones (MZs) were delineated in the AgDataBox-Map module, using the fuzzy c-means method, for two, three, and four classes using three sets of input variables: (i) EVI-2_NM, (ii) Altitude, and (iii) EVI 2_NM + Altitude. After analyzing the results, it was concluded that the best design used the variable EVI-2 in the design of three classes of MZs. All designs for two classes showed statistical differences between their classes, with the best performance being obtained with the altitude variable. All designs with four classes were discarded, as there was no statistically significant difference between their classes. O sensoriamento remoto tem a capacidade de auxiliar na evolução das práticas agrícolas, fornecendo informações periódicas sobre o estado de uma cultura ao longo de uma safra, em diferentes escalas e para diferentes segmentos. Aplicações em agricultura de precisão utilizam práticas de sensoriamento remoto, como os índices de vegetação, derivados de imagens multiespectrais, para mensurar parâmetros físicos e químicos das plantas, no decorrer do seu ciclo de desenvolvimento. Os avanços tecnológicos oportunizaram o desenvolvimento de serviços inovadores para o setor agrícola, baseados na internet e hospedados em nuvem. Sendo assim, o objetivo dessa pesquisa foi desenvolver uma aplicação computacional que integre e forneça dados de sensoriamento remoto para a plataforma de agricultura de precisão AgDataBox. A aplicação desenvolvida permite o cadastro de uma nova área (talhão), buscar imagens raster de satélites orbitais, selecionar índices de vegetação, vetorizar e inserir as imagens de interesse na plataforma AgDataBox. A aplicação proposta foi testada com dados da safra de milho de 2018/201 (safra verão), em uma área de estudo no município de Céu Azul, Paraná. Foram gerados 12 vetores a partir de imagens do satélite Sentinel-2, utilizando o índice de vegetação por diferença normalizada (NDVI), índice de vegetação melhorado (EVI) e índice de vegetação melhorado 2 (EVI-2) dos dias 11/12/2018, 16/12/2018, 15/01/2019 e 25/01/2019 e inseridos na plataforma AgDataBox. Também foram inseridos vetores com variáveis de produtividade, altitude, areia, silte, argila, resistência mecânica a penetração do solo nas profundidades de 0-0,1 m, 0-0,2 m, 0,1-0,2 m e 0,2-0,3 m. Após a análise de autocorrelação entre as variáveis, tendo produtividade como variável alvo, foram selecionadas EVI2 e altitude como as variáveis que apresentaram melhor autocorrelação cruzada com a variável alvo. Foram delineadas zonas de manejo (ZMs) no módulo AgDataBox-Map, utilizando o método fuzzy c-means, para duas, três e quatro classes utilizando três conjuntos de variáveis de entrada: (i) EVI-2_NM, (ii) Altitude, e (iii) EVI 2_NM+Altitude. Após análise dos resultados, conclui-se que o melhor delineamento utilizou a variável EVI-2 no delineamento de três classes de ZMs. Todos os delineamentos para duas classes apresentaram diferença estatística entre suas classes, sendo o melhor desempenho obtido com a variável altitude. Todos os delineamentos com quatro classes foram descartados, pois não apresentaram diferença estatística significativa entre suas classes.

In the agricultural area, Precision Agriculture (PA) stands out. This is an agricultural management process that considers areas with a possible heterogeneous behavior and investigates and treats each demand spatially located. This monitoring requires the collection of various pieces of information, ranging from climatic attributes, human elements and soil and plant factors. Among this diverse information, the soil is an important factor that can interfere in productivity, with problems such as compaction, or deficiency of some physical-chemical property, Therefore, analysis is necessary to measure these needs. The use of mobile devices, such as cell phones and tablets in agricultural activities is still incipient, however, due to the processing capacity, mobility, and location, they can be used in various field activities, such as plot demarcation, data recording field, as well as the location of sample points, in the context of PA. These devices, besides costing less than commercial low-precision GNSS equipment used for this purpose, have available features and resources that make them more attractive to purchase. This work aimed to develop and validate an application for mobile devices, which allows the import and location of sampling points for data collection. The application was developed using the JAVA language for devices with Android operating systems. The software was tested in the field with the use of a smartphone due to its practicality and available features, as well as its accuracy concerning geolocation. It was found that the use of the application allowed the work to be carried out in the field, which can be used in data collection activities in the context of PA. In the point location, the tests with the equipment showed an average accuracy close to 1m, with precision equivalent to a dedicated GNSS device, demonstrating that it can be used in agricultural activities when required accuracy is close to this value. The results also suggest that the accuracy is superior when the tests are carried out in the morning. O crescimento populacional observado nos últimos anos faz com que os meios de produção de alimento demandem técnicas para aumento de sua produção, principalmente no que se relaciona aos setores agrícola e pecuário. No setor agrícola, ganha destaque a Agricultura de Precisão (AP), um processo de gestão agrícola que parte da premissa de que áreas devem ser consideradas com comportamento possivelmente heterogêneo, devendo ser investigada e tratada cada necessidade espacialmente localizada. Esse monitoramento requer o levantamento de diversas informações, que abrangem desde atributos climáticos, elementos humanos, até os fatores solo e planta. Dentre essas diversas informações, o solo tem fator preponderante e pode interferir na produtividade, por meio de problemas, como compactação, ou, então, deficiência de alguma propriedade físico-química, sendo necessária a realização de ensaios para a mensuração dessas necessidades. A utilização de dispositivos móveis, como celulares e tablets, em atividades agrícolas, ainda é incipiente, no entanto, devido à capacidade de processamento, mobilidade e localização, podem permitir sua aplicação em diversas atividades de campo, tais como a demarcação de talhões, registro de dados a campo, bem como a localização de pontos amostrais, no contexto da AP. Esses dispositivos, além de apresentarem custo inferior a equipamentos GNSS comerciais de baixa precisão, utilizados com esse fim, têm funcionalidades e recursos disponíveis que os tornam mais atrativos para a aquisição. Este trabalho teve por objetivo desenvolver e validar um aplicativo para dispositivos móveis, que permite a importação e localização de pontos amostrais para coleta de dados. O aplicativo foi desenvolvido utilizando a linguagem JAVA para dispositivos com o sistema operacional Android. O software foi ensaiado a campo com o uso de um smartphone quanto à sua praticidade e funcionalidades disponíveis, bem como sua exatidão em relação à geolocalização. Verificou-se que o uso do aplicativo permitiu realizar os trabalhos a campo, podendo ser utilizado em atividades de coleta de dados no contexto de AP. Na localização dos pontos, os ensaios com os equipamentos apresentaram exatidão média próxima a 1 m com precisão equivalente a um dispositivo GNSS dedicado, demonstrando que podem ser utilizados em atividades agrícolas, cuja exatidão necessária seja próxima a esse valor. Os resultados sugerem, ainda, que a exatidão é estatisticamente superior quando os ensaios forem efetuados em período matutino.

One of the possible ways to evaluate such variability is by using spectral data, i.e., via orbital, sub-orbital, and terrestrial sensors. Among the suborbital sensors, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) enable non-intrusive surveys with high level of detail and at lower cost. Thus, this work proposes to create MZ focused on temporal analysis on a short period (one harvest) from three datasets: visible vegetation indexes from UAVs and Sentinel-2, and soil data; comparing the MZs with yield maps. In this study, one area was monitored throughout two harvest cycles (soybean, during the 2018/2019 crop, and maize, crop of 2019), collecting UAV images, field data (soil sampling and yield). MZs were designed for the subsets through spectral data (VANT and Sentinel-2) and soil sampling using hierarchical clustering with spatial constraints weights, evaluating different spatial contiguity matrices (Queen, Rook, and KNN). Among the visible vegetation indexes ExG, GLI, GRVI, RGBVI, and VARI, GRVI and VARI achieved higher results. MZs created by UAV or Sentinel-2 for both crops achieved higher performance with two groups; and for soil data, by four groups. None of the MZs shared any similarities regarding their cultures’ productivity. Visible vegetation index achieved poor results for MZ creation, regardless of the sensor employed (VANT or Sentinel-2). A Agricultura de Precisão possui contínua preocupação com o uso coerente dos recursos naturais, tornando-se uma peça-chave na otimização do manejo, por considerar a variabilidade espacial da área e segmentá-la em sub-regiões (Zonas de Manejo, ZM). Uma das formas de avaliar esta variabilidade é por dados espectrais, ou seja, por sensores orbitais, suborbitais e terrestres. Dentre os sensores suborbitais, os acoplados aos Veículos Aéreos Não-Tripulados (VANTs) possibilitam o acompanhamento da área de forma não intrusiva, com elevado nível de detalhamento e sob menor custo. Nesse sentido, este trabalho tem como objetivo criar ZM focadas na análise temporal sob curto período (uma safra), por índices de vegetação derivados de imagens de VANT e do sensor Sentinel-2, e por variáveis de solo. Após isso, compará-las com a produtividade. No estudo, monitorou-se uma propriedade agrícola ao longo de dois ciclos produtivos (soja, safra 2018/2019 e trigo, safra 2019), coletando-se dados espectrais na faixa do visível e dados de campo (amostragem de solo e produtividade). Construíram-se ZMs para o subconjunto de dados espectrais (VANT e Sentinel-2) e amostragem do solo pelo método de agrupamento hierárquico com restrição espacial, e foram avaliadas diferentes matrizes de contiguidade (Rainha, Torre e KNN). Dentre os índices de vegetação ExG, GLI, GRVI, RGBVI e VARI, os de melhor desempenho foram o GRVI e VARI. A quantidade ideal de ZMs para os subconjuntos de dados espectrais foi duas para ambas as culturas e quatro para as variáveis do solo. Nenhuma das ZMs se assemelharam à produtividade das culturas. Constatou-se que índices derivados do visível não apresentaram bons resultados para o delineamento das Zonas de Manejo, independente do sensor utilizado (VANT ou Sentinel-2).

Considering that about 30% of the total area of the planet consists of acid soils and 50% of these are arable, this could mean serious limitation for agricultural production in many regions of the world. In this sense, precision agriculture is one of the technologies adopted in the modernization processes of agriculture, and consists of a set of technologies for the localized application of the correct quantity of the production inputs, at the right time, in the right place, based on the topography and spatial variability soil and cultural attributes. Therefore, the recommendation of agricultural inputs in the necessary quantity, without compromising the productivity of the crops, becomes an important tool for the farmer and consequently, the appropriate recommendation of limestone. In order to perform this practice rationally, it is necessary to establish the appropriate quantity of limestone for the agricultural operation, based on the chemical and physical attributes of the soil. Liming will neutralize acidity, raise pH, reduce toxic elements and increase polyvalent cations. Thus, the objective of this work was to develop a computational module (AgDataBox-Map-Aplic) capable of recommending the amount of limestone considering the chemical attributes of the soil of each sampling point. For this, the following methods of calculating the required limestone were selected: Method 1: neutralization of exchangeable aluminum; Method 2: exchangeable Al3+ neutralization and elevation of base cations (Ca2+ and Mg2+); and Method 3: base saturation. The modeling of the system was in UML diagrams (Unified modeling language), in order to specify in detail its functionalities. To evaluate the module, two traditional techniques were compared (Traditional Thematic Map (TTM) and management zones (MZs)) for the construction of the thematic map of localized limestone application with data from three commercial agricultural areas (western Paraná State, Brazil) and three calculation methods of limestone requirement. The lowest mean amounts of limestone (̅̅̅̅) were always obtained by application in MZs, with doses calculated by the median. In the evaluation of the quality of the ZMs, the indexes VR, FPI, MPE, ICVI, SI% and IF% were used; in the consonance comparison between TTM and MZs, K, T and EG indexes. The outlining with two classes presented the best results. The results obtained by means of the ADB-Map- Applications presented a high correlation (R2 of 0.99) compared to the values observed in spreadsheet. Com o crescimento da população mundial, a agricultura tem como desafio produzir mais, com lucratividade e competitividade. Considerando que cerca de 30% da área total do planeta consiste em solos ácidos e, desses, 50% são cultiváveis, tal fato poderia significar séria limitação para a produção agrícola em muitas regiões do mundo. Nesse sentido, a agricultura de precisão é uma das tecnologias adotadas nos processos de modernização da agricultura e consiste em um conjunto de tecnologias para a aplicação localizada da quantidade correta dos insumos, no momento adequado, no lugar certo, com base na variabilidade espacial dos atributos topográficos, do solo e da cultura. Sendo assim, a recomendação de insumos agrícolas na quantidade necessária, sem comprometer a produtividade das culturas, torna-se uma importante ferramenta para o agricultor e, consequentemente, a recomendação adequada de calcário torna-se importante. Para se executar racionalmente essa prática, é necessário estabelecer a quantidade adequada de calcário para a operação agrícola, com base nos atributos químicos e físicos do solo. A calagem visa neutralizar a acidez, elevar o pH, reduzir os elementos tóxicos e aumentar os cátions polivalentes. Diante disso, o objetivo deste trabalho foi desenvolver um módulo computacional (AgDataBox-Map-Aplic), capaz de recomendar a quantidade de calcário, levando em consideração os atributos químicos do solo de cada ponto amostral. Para isso, foram selecionados os seguintes métodos de cálculo de necessidade de calcário: Método 1: neutralização do alumínio trocável; Método 2: neutralização do Al3+ trocável e elevação dos cátions bases (Ca2+ e Mg2+); e Método 3: saturação por bases. A modelagem do sistema foi em diagramas UML (Unified modeling language), com intuito de especificar detalhadamente as suas funcionalidades. Para avaliação do módulo, foram comparadas duas técnicas (mapas temáticos tradicionais (MTT) e zonas de manejo (MZs) de construção do mapa temático de aplicação localizada de calcário, utilizando dados de três áreas agrícolas comerciais (oeste do Estado do Paraná, Brasil) e três métodos de cálculo de necessidade de calcário. As menores quantidades médias de calcário (̅̅̅̅) foram sempre obtidas pela aplicação em MZs, com doses calculadas pela mediana. Na avaliação da qualidade das ZMs, foram utilizados os índices VR, FPI, MPE, ICVI, SI% e IF%; na comparação da concordância entre as MTT e as MZs, foram utilizados os índices K, T, EG. O delineamento com duas classes apresentou os melhores resultados. Os valores obtidos, por meio do ADB-Map-Aplic, apresentaram alta correlação (R2 de 0.99), em comparação com os valores observados em planilha eletrônica.

However, the buoyancy in the renewable sources’ generation hinders the management of distribution flow in the network by the concessionaires. Thereby, the determination of the generation potential, as well as the search for methods of control of the energy introduced in the network, is fundamentally important to the expansion of this system in relation to the conventional model of centralized generation. The use of geotechnologies facilitates this estimation, since it allows the analysis of spatial characteristics of places of interest and their specifications, such as incident radiation, available area, among others, with precision, agility, and low cost, in relation to field measurements. Thus, this work aimed to identify the potential of photovoltaic solar energy generation in the rural area of the municipality of Cascavel, based on the useful areas available, and the losses inherent to the system, from aviaries and pigpens. Averages for annual potential of 9.36 MWh/month for piglets and 17.61 MWh/month for aviaries were verified; with average power surplus of 8.56 MWh/month and 14.71 MWh/month for piglets and aviaries, respectively. The points with the greatest potential of energy generation in the rural perimeter of the municipality were also identified, to serve as an indicator of propitious areas for feasibility studies aiming for the implantation of intelligent micro grids in the region. O modelo de geração de energia distribuída por meio de fontes renováveis é visto, atualmente, como uma solução no que concerne ao aumento da demanda, que limita o desenvolvimento econômico e tecnológico. Contudo, a flutuabilidade na geração que utiliza fontes renováveis, dificulta o gerenciamento de fluxo na rede de distribuição por parte das concessionárias. Com isso a determinação do potencial de geração, bem como a busca por métodos de controle da energia introduzida na rede, é de fundamental importância na expansão desse sistema em relação ao modelo convencional de geração centralizada. O uso de geotecnologias facilita essa estimativa, pois permite a análise de características espaciais de locais de interesse e suas características específicas, como radiação incidente e área disponível, dentre outros, com precisão, agilidade e custo reduzido, em relação a medições de campo. Este trabalho teve como objetivo identificar o potencial de geração de energia solar fotovoltaica na área rural do município de Cascavel - PR, com base nas áreas úteis disponíveis e as perdas inerentes ao sistema, em aviários e pocilgas. Foi verificado um potencial anual médio de 9,36 MWh/mês para pocilgas, e 17,61 MWh/mês para aviários, com excedentes médios de geração de energia de 8,56 MWh/mês e 14,71 MWh/mês, para pocilgas e aviários, respectivamente. Também foram identificados os pontos com maior potencial de geração de energia no perímetro rural do município, para que sirva de indicativo das áreas propícias a estudos de viabilização de implantação de microrredes inteligentes na região.

All of these approaches merely identify the potential of the MZs; additional research is needed to test whether the identified MZs actually function as effective management zones to increase productivity, and plant density in soybean cultivation is a relevant management practice for reaching high grain yields. In this context, the present study was carried out to verify if the selection of the variables used for the design of MZs is influenced when data from one or more years of productivity are used, and if the normalization methods can influence this selection. The three main techniques of data normalization proposed in the literature with data of up to five years of productivity were evaluated. The behavior of soybean yield under different seeding densities was evaluated in two pre-established management zones. The experiments were carried out in two commercial agricultural areas, located in the state of Paraná, Brazil, where corn and soybean was grown, with data obtained between the years of 2012 and 2018. With the experiments, it was possible to conclude that the productivity did not present spatial autocorrelation in some simulations; however, this did not influence the selection of the variables. Among the studied variables, the altitude and soil mechanical resistance to penetration (RSP) correlated with soybean and corn crop productivity in both study areas; the number of harvests negatively influenced the analysis of spatial correlation between yield and soil attributes; the amplitude normalization method showed the best results of variance (VR) and ANOVA reduction and the mean one showed the greatest reduction of the coefficient of variation (CV). ZM with higher productive potential presented better but not expressive results regarding productivity, since there was no statistical difference between the means. Seed densities produced yield differences; for soybean with line spacing of 0.70 m, the density of 15 plants m-1 provided the highest yields; and, by means of economic analysis, it is confirmed that the use of this density in the whole area is the best option to maximize final yield. A seleção de variáveis para o delineamento de zonas de manejo (ZMs) geralmente usa dados da produtividade de anos anteriores; porém, permanecem questões sobre o tipo e a quantidade de dados necessários para classificar estas ZMs, assim como se a normalização de dados interfere nesta seleção. Todas essas abordagens meramente identificam o potencial das ZMs; pesquisas adicionais são necessárias para testar se as ZMs identificadas funcionam de fato como zonas de gerenciamento efetivas para incrementar a produtividade, sendo a densidade de plantas no cultivo de soja uma prática de manejo relevante para o alcance de alta produtividade de grãos. Neste contexto, buscou-se estudar se a seleção das variáveis utilizadas para o delineamento de ZMs é influenciada quando se utilizam dados de um ou mais anos de produtividade, e se os métodos de normalização podem influenciar nesta seleção. Foram avaliadas as três principais técnicas de normalização de dados propostas na literatura com dados de até cinco anos de produtividade. Avaliou-se também o comportamento do rendimento da cultura de soja sob a aplicação de diferentes densidades de semeadura em duas zonas de manejo pré-estabelecidas. Os experimentos foram realizados em duas áreas agrícola comerciais, localizadas no estado do Paraná, nas quais se cultivaram milho e soja, com dados obtidos entre os anos de 2012 e 2018. Com os experimentos realizados foi possível concluir que a produtividade não apresentou autocorrelação espacial em algumas simulações; entretanto, isso não influenciou na seleção das variáveis. Dentre as variáveis estudadas, a altitude e a resistência mecânica do solo à penetração (RSP) tiveram correlação com a produtividade das culturas da soja e do milho em ambas as áreas estudas; o número de safras influenciou negativamente na análise de correlação espacial entre a produtividade e os atributos do solo; o método de normalização amplitude apresentou os melhores resultados de redução da variância (VR) e ANOVA e o da média apresentou a maior redução do coeficiente de variação (CV). A ZM com maior potencial produtivo apresentou resultados melhores, mas não expressivos no que diz respeito à produtividade, já que não houve diferença estatística entre as médias. As densidades de semeadura resultaram em diferenças de produções; para a soja com espaçamento entre linhas de 0,70 m, a densidade de 15 plantas m-1 proporcionou as maiores produtividades; e, por meio da análise econômica, confirma-se ser a utilização desta densidade em toda a área a melhor opção para maximizar o rendimento final.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the productivity and the physiological quality of soybean seeds due to desiccation at different physiological stages and herbicides. The study of the culture was conducted in an Eutrophic Red Latosol in the city of Cascavel, PR. The experimental design was randomized blocks, in a 2 × 4 + 1 factorial scheme, two herbicides (paraquat and diquat) applied in four phenological stages, R6, R7.1, R7.2 and R7.3, corresponding to 10, 25, 50, and 75% yellowing of leaves and pods, respectively, with one control (no desiccation) and three replicates. The cultivar NA 5909 RG was used. The weight of one thousand seeds, the productivity and the physiological properties of the seed were evaluated through the tetrazolium test. Chemical desiccation with paraquat resulted in higher grain yield (3,961 kg ha-1) compared to diquat (3,317 kg ha-1), although similar to control (4,221 kg ha-1). Desiccation did not affect the productivity and weight of one thousand soybean seeds. Desiccation with 75% yellowing of leaves and pods (R7.3) showed lower electrical conductivity and higher germination of soybean seeds. Early desiccation with 10 and 25% yellowing of leaves and pods decreases vigor from the tetrazolium test, seed viability and results in moisture damage. It was concluded that early chemical desiccation does not affect the yield of soybeans, however, impairs the physiological quality of the seeds. A dessecação é uma estratégia para antecipação da colheita que pode variar em função do estádio da aplicação do herbicida. O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar a produtividade e a qualidade fisiológica de sementes de soja em razão da dessecação em diferentes estádios fisiológicos e herbicidas. A cultura da soja em estudo foi conduzida em um Latossolo Vermelho Eutróficona cidade de Cascavel, PR. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi blocos casualizados, em esquema fatorial 2×4+1, sendo dois herbicidas (paraquat e diquat) aplicados em quatro estádios fenológicos, R6, R7.1, R7.2 e R7.3, correspondentes a 10, 25, 50 e 75% de amarelecimento das folhas e vagens, respectivamente, com uma testemunha (sem dessecação) e três repetições. Foi utilizada a cultivar NA 5909 RG. Foram avaliados o peso de mil sementes, a produtividade e as propriedades fisiológicas da semente a partir do teste tetrazólio. A dessecação química com paraquat resultou em rendimento de grãos superior (3.961 kg ha-1) em relação ao diquat (3.317 kg ha-1), apesar de semelhante à testemunha (4.221 kg ha-1). A dessecação não afetou a produtividade e o peso de mil sementes da soja. A dessecação com 75% de amarelecimento das folhas e vagens (R7.3) apresentou menor condutividade elétrica e maior germinação das sementes de soja. A dessecação precoce com 10 e 25% de amarelecimento das folhas e vagens diminui o vigor a partir do teste de tetrazólio, a viabilidade das sementes além de resultar em danos por umidade. Concluiu-se que a dessecação química precoce não afeta o rendimento de grãos da soja, contudo prejudica a qualidade fisiológica das sementes.

In order to make AP economically feasible, it is essential to improve current methodologies, as well as to propose new ones, such as the design of management areas (MZs) from productivity data, topographic, and soil attributes, among others, to determine which are heterogeneous subareas among themselves in the same area. In this context, the main objective of this research was to evaluate three distance metrics (Diagonal, Euclidian, and Mahalanobis) through FUZME and SDUM software (for the definition of management units) using the fuzzy c-means algorithm, and, at a further moment, to evaluate the cultures of soybeans and corn, as well as the association between them. On the first scientific paper, using data corresponding to four distinct areas, the three metrics with original and normalized data associated with soybean yield were evaluated. For area A, the Diagonal and Mahalanobis distances exempted the need for normalization of the variables, presenting areas that were identical for both versions. After the normalization of the data, the Euclidian distance presented a better delineation in its MZs for area A. For areas B, C, and D it was not possible to reach conclusions regarding the best performance, since only one variable was used for the process of MZs, and that has directly influenced the results. On the second scientific paper, data corresponding to three distinct areas were applied to analyze the use of soybean and corn yields, as well as the association between them, in the selection of variables to define MZs. Based on the variables available for each of the areas, the selection was carried out using the spatial correlation method, considering, for each one of the areas, the three target yields (soybean, corn, and soybean+corn). The type of productivity used demonstrated two different outcomes: first in the variable selection process, where its alternation resulted in different selections for the same area, and second, in the evaluation of the defined MZs, where even when the same variables were selected in the definition of the MZs, the performances of the MZs were different. After the validation methods applied, it was verified that the best target yield was soybean+corn, reasserting the idea of being better to use these two cultures, together, when defining the MZs of an area with rotating crops of soybean and corn. A Agricultura de Precisão (AP) utiliza tecnologias objetivando o aumento da produtividade e redução do impacto ambiental por meio de aplicação localizada de insumos agrícolas. Para viabilizar economicamente a AP, é essencial aprimorar as metodologias atuais, bem como propor novas, como, por exemplo, o delineamento de zonas de manejo (ZMs) a partir de dados de produtividade, atributos topográficos e do solo, entre outros, utilizados a fim de determinar subáreas heterogêneas entre si em uma mesma área. Neste contexto, este trabalho teve como principal objetivo avaliar três métricas de distâncias (Diagonal, Euclidiana e Mahalanobis) junto aos Softwares FUZME e SDUM (Software para a definição de unidades de manejo), que utilizam o algoritmo fuzzy c-means, e, em um segundo momento, avaliar também as culturas de soja e milho, assim como a associação entre elas. No primeiro artigo, utilizando dados correspondentes a quatro áreas distintas, avaliaram-se as três métricas com dados originais e normalizados associados à produtividade de soja. Para a área A, as distâncias Diagonal e Mahalanobis dispensaram a necessidade de normalização das variáveis, apresentando áreas idênticas para as duas versões. Após a normalização dos dados, a distância Euclidiana apresentou um melhor delineamento em suas ZMs para a área A. Para as áreas B, C e D não foi possível obter conclusões quanto ao melhor desempenho, visto que o fato de ser utilizado apenas uma variável para o processo de definição de ZMs influenciou diretamente nos resultados obtidos. No segundo artigo, dados correspondentes a três áreas distintas foram utilizados para analisar o uso de produtividades de soja e milho, assim como a associação entre elas, na seleção de variáveis para definição de ZMs. A partir das variáveis disponíveis para cada uma das áreas foi realizada a seleção destas através do método da correlação espacial, levando em consideração, para cada uma das áreas, as três produtividades-alvo (soja, milho e soja+milho). O tipo de produtividade utilizada repercutiu de duas formas diferentes: primeiro no processo de seleção de variáveis, onde a sua alternância resultou em seleções diferenciadas para uma mesma área; e em um segundo momento, na avaliação das ZMs definidas, onde mesmo quando as mesmas variáveis foram selecionadas na definição das ZMs, os desempenhos das ZMs foram diferentes. Após os métodos de validação aplicados, verificou-se que a melhor produtividade-alvo foi soja+milho, reforçando a ideia de ser útil a utilização destas duas culturas, em conjunto, na definição das ZMs de uma área com alternância de produção de soja e milho.

This production, however, implies generation of waste and this needs to be mitigated. One of the alternatives to reduce the impact caused by pig waste is the application of anaerobic biodigestion treatment, obtaining biogas and digestate as by-products. Digestate can be used as biofertilizer, generating a new product. In this context, this work proposes to define a geographic database from different sources about the national production of swine and to estimate, supported by calculation methodology defined in activities of the BiogasFert Network, the respective production of waste and biogas. These results were provided in an web system using GeoServer map server. In addition, a methodology was defined in this work to identify areas of permanent preservation in top of hills, based on the Brazilian new forest code published since 2012, and in classes of declivity unfit for fertilizer inputs (regions with slopes greater than 45%). As result, a total of 60,879,431 km² (0,72%) of areas considered inapt for the application of fertilizers in the national territory were identified. Another objective of this work was to highlight the use of free GIS software and its processing power, since the metrics applied here were elaborated using exclusively open source software. O Brasil é o quarto maior produtor e exportador de carne suína mundial, tendo a suinocultura uma grande representatividade no cenário agropecuário nacional. Essa produção, contudo, implica na geração de resíduos, que necessitam ser mitigados. Uma das alternativas para reduzir o impacto causado por dejetos de suínos é a aplicação de um tratamento de biodigestão anaeróbia, obtendo-se como subproduto o biogás e o digestato, o qual pode ser utilizado como biofertilizante, tornando-se não só uma forma de tratamento como também de geração de novos produtos. Neste contexto, este trabalho propôs definir uma base de dados geográfica a partir da integração de fontes distintas acerca da produção nacional de suínos e estimar, apoiado por metodologia de cálculo definida em atividades da Rede BiogásFert, a respectiva produção de dejetos e biogás. Tais resultados foram aportados em sistema web via servidor de mapas GeoServer. Além disso, define-se neste trabalho metodologia para identificar áreas de preservação permanente em topo de morro, a partir do novo código florestal veiculado desde 2012, bem como as classes de declividade inaptas ao aporte de fertilizantes (regiões com declividade superior a 45%). Como resultado, foi identificado um total de 60.879,431 km² (0,72%) de áreas consideradas inaptas à aplicação de fertilizantes no território nacional. Um outro objetivo deste trabalho foi o de evidenciar o uso de softwares SIG livres e o seu poder de processamento, visto que as metologias aqui aplicadas foram elaboradas com uso exclusivo de softwares open source.

It can be noticed that the landscaping of these areas usually consists of extensive grassy areas, protecting the soil against erosions, allowing rainwater drainage and avoiding flooding. However, to maintain this landscaping, the manpower for irrigation or the use of some irrigation system is necessary. Thus, considering the water scarcity that affects several regions of the planet, the present study aimed to evaluate irrigation systems by micro sprinklers in a residencial garden and by sprinklers on a golf and a football fields. The assays were performed according to ABNT standards, calculating the Christiansen uniformity coefficient (CU) and distribution uniformity coefficient (DU), with collectors positioned with their base on the lawn. In addition to the irrigation depth data, climate data such as temperature, air humidity, wind speed, and direction were also collected through a mini meteorological station installed near the trials. At the residence garden, the main objective was to evaluate four microsprinklers under five different operating pressures, which varied from 80 to 180 kPa. The microsprinklers were arranged in a grid of 2.50 x 2.50 meter with area of 6.25 m2, among which 25 collectors were placed, spaced 0.50 meters apart. Twenty-five replications were performed with 1 hour of irrigation and the climatic data were obtained every 10 minutes, with the mini meteorological station at 1 meter high. The best results for CUC, CUD and efficiency were obtained in treatment 4 (150 kPa pressure), with values of 81.38, 72.19 and 53.15%, respectively. In all treatments, the climatic factors with the highest level of similarity were between temperature and wind speed. It was identified by the control chart that only treatment 4 was under statistical control. Therefore, it has been found that it is possible to use a service pressure of 150 kPa, lower than the one specified by the catalog (180 kPa) without significant losses of uniformity of water distribution and efficiency of application. In the football field, two parallel lateral lines, 18 meters apart, were installed with five mini cannon type sprinklers on each line with spacing of 18 meters. The tests were performed in two areas, area A being between the first four sprinklers, and area B between the last four sprinklers. The collectors were spaced 2 meters apart, totalizing 81 collectors between the sprinklers in each area. Twenty-five replications were performed with 10 minutes of irrigation, obtaining the climatic data every 5 minutes, with the mini meteorological station at 2 meters high. In both areas, the results for CUC, CUD and efficiency were not significant at the 5% level. Among the climatic factors, relative air humidity and wind speed had the highest level of similarity, with 67.90%. The control graphs of both areas showed that irrigation was under statistical control. These results indicated that uniformity of water distribution and efficiency was maintained along the lateral line. At the golf course, the tests were performed in three different areas called Tee, Fairway, and Green, in which the collectors were distributed among spacers spaced 2 meters apart. At these sites, 25 trials of 12 minutes of irrigation were performed, with the mini meteorological station positioned at 2 meters high and collecting the climatic data every 5 minutes. In the areas of Tee and Fairway, 27 and 84 collectors were placed, respectively, between four sprinklers, and in the area of Green, 138 collectors between five sprinklers. Soil density and gravimetric moisture in the field capacity and permanent wilting point were obtained in the laboratory to calculate the application efficiency. The best results for CUC, CUD and efficiency were obtained in Tee. On the other hand, from the relative depht, it was verified that irrigation in the Fairway was the closest to the required real irrigation, with lower excess water applied. It was detected from the control chart that the irrigation in the Tee was not under control, unlike the other areas. It was identified that the climatic factors of greater similarity were between wind speed and relative air humidity, with 83.79%, obtained in the Fairway. Overall, due to the low value of the process capability index, both in the residential garden, golf course and football field, the irrigations were not able to remain under control over time. However, the application of the techniques used in the present research was important to detect possible irrigation faults, which can be corrected during the process. Com o crescimento das cidades, investimentos em áreas de lazer, fachadas de empreendimentos, parques e áreas esportivas têm sido representativos nas zonas urbanas. Percebe-se que o paisagismo dessas áreas é normalmente constituído por extensas áreas gramadas, que protegem o solo contra erosões, possibilitando a drenagem de águas pluviais, evitando possíveis inundações. No entanto, para manter esse paisagismo é necessário mão de obra para a rega ou o uso de algum sistema de irrigação. Dessa forma, considerando-se a escassez da água que atinge diversas regiões do planeta, o presente estudo objetivou avaliar os sistemas de irrigação por microaspersão em um jardim residencial e por aspersão em um campo de golfe e futebol. Os ensaios foram realizados de acordo com as normas da ABNT, calculando-se o coeficiente de uniformidade de Christiansen (CUC) e coeficiente de uniformidade de distribuição (CUD), cujos coletores foram posicionados com a sua base sobre o gramado. Além dos dados da lâmina de irrigação, foram coletados dados climáticos como temperatura, umidade relativa do ar, velocidade e direção do vento a partir de uma miniestação meteorológica instalada nas proximidades dos ensaios. No jardim residencial, o principal objetivo foi de avaliar quatro microaspersores sob cinco diferentes pressões de serviço (de 80 a 180 kPa). Os microaspersores foram dispostos numa malha de 2,50 x 2,50 metros com área de 6,25 m2, entre os quais posicionaram-se 25 coletores distanciados de 0,50 metros entre si. Foram realizadas 25 repetições com duração de 1 hora de irrigação e obtidos os dados climáticos a cada 10 minutos, estando a miniestação meteorológica a 1 metro de altura. Os melhores resultados quanto ao CUC, CUD e eficiência foram obtidos pelo tratamento 4 (pressão de 150 kPa), com os valores de 81,38, 72,19 e 53,15%, respectivamente. Em todos os tratamentos, os fatores climáticos com maior nível de similaridade foram entre a temperatura e a velocidade do vento. Identificou-se pelo gráfico de controle que somente o tratamento 4 (pressão de 150 kPa) esteve sob controle estatístico. Assim, verificou-se que é possível utilizar pressão de serviço de 150 kPa, inferior ao especificado pelo catálogo (180 kPa) sem perdas significativas de uniformidade de distribuição de água e eficiência de aplicação. No campo de futebol, foram instaladas duas linhas laterais paralelas e distanciadas em 18 metros, com cinco aspersores do tipo mini canhão em cada linha com espaçamento de 18 metros. Os ensaios foram realizados em duas áreas, estando a área A entre os quatro primeiros aspersores e a área B entre os quatro últimos aspersores. Os coletores foram espaçados de 2 metros, totalizando 81 coletores entre os aspersores em cada área. Foram realizadas 25 repetições com 10 minutos de irrigação, obtendo-se os dados climáticos a cada 5 minutos, com a miniestação meteorológica a 2 metros de altura. Em ambas as áreas, os resultados quanto ao CUC, CUD e eficiência não houve diferença significativa ao nível de 5%. Entre os fatores climáticos, a umidade relativa do ar e a velocidade do vento tiveram o maior nível de similaridade, com 67,90%. Pelo gráfico de controle de ambas as áreas, verificou-se que a irrigação esteve sob controle estatístico. Esses resultados indicaram que a uniformidade de distribuição de água e a eficiência se mantiveram ao longo da linha lateral. No campo de golfe, os ensaios foram realizados em três áreas diferentes denominadas Tee, Fairway e Green, nas quais os coletores foram distribuídos entre os aspersores, distanciados em 2 metros. Nesses locais, foram realizados 25 ensaios de 12 minutos de irrigação, com a miniestação meteorológica posicionada a 2 metros de altura e coleta dos dados climáticos a cada 5 minutos. Nas áreas do Tee e do Fairway foram colocados respectivamente 27 e 84 coletores entre quatro aspersores e na área do Green, 138 coletores entre cinco aspersores. A densidade do solo e a umidade gravimétrica na capacidade de campo e ponto de murcha permanente foram obtidas em laboratório para o cálculo da irrigação real necessária. Os melhores resultados quanto ao CUC, CUD e eficiência foram obtidos no Tee. Por outro lado, a partir da lâmina relativa verificou-se que irrigação no Fairway foi a mais próxima da irrigação real necessária, com menor excesso de água aplicada. Detectou-se, a partir do gráfico de controle que a irrigação no Tee esteve fora de controle, ao contrário das demais áreas. Identificou-se que os fatores climáticos de maior similaridade foram entre a velocidade do vento e umidade relativa do ar, com 83,79%, obtida no Fairway. De forma geral, devido ao baixo valor do índice de capacidade do processo, tanto no jardim residencial quanto nos campos de golfe e de futebol, as irrigações não foram capazes de se manter sob controle ao longo do tempo. Entretanto, as aplicações das técnicas utilizadas na presente pesquisa foram importantes para detectar possíveis falhas na irrigação, que podem ser corrigidas durante o processo.

This seed is a natural source of omega-3, omega-6, fiber, protein, vitamins, as well as other important nutritional components. It helps on preventing cardiovascular diseases, nervous and inflammatory diseases, and diabetes, among others. Its physiological quality is an essential parameter for significant yield of grains and seeds since the demand for chia has increased every year. Thus, this study aimed at adapting methodologies to evaluate seeds physiological quality, checking which tests are more efficient to determine seeds vigor, evaluating mucilage production and if vigor can influence on its produced amount. Thus, seeds were submitted to determine purity, mass of 100 seeds, moisture content, variations on tests such as germination, seedling growth, emergence in sand, accelerated aging, cold test without soil, electrical conductivity, water uptake curve and mucilage extraction. After determining the best methodology for each test, each one of them was carried out for seeds cropped during two cropping years (2013/2014, 2014/2015). Mucilage variation was also evaluated according to these seeds vigor. A completely randomized experimental design was carried out in double and triple factorials, according to the tests. Under tested conditions, it was concluded that chia seeds can germinate in paper and sand substrates, in light presence or absence, under temperatures from 15 to 35 ºC, thus achieving high rates of germination percentage. Seedling length test was developed in gerbox for nine days, the emergence in sand test was obtained with 0.5 cm depth at 25-30 ºC, the accelerated aging test was under 41 ºC, for 36 hours with water and 45 ºC for 12 hours with saturated solution, and electrical conductivity test was recorded with 24 hours, 25 mL water at 25-30 ºC, and they can be used to determine chia seeds vigor. The proposed methodology was efficient to extract chia seeds mucilage and seed vigor did not interfere in the amount of mucilage produced. A chia (Salvia hispanica L.) é uma oleaginosa de origem mexicana, cultivada e consumida pelos Maias e Astecas desde a antiguidade, por fornecer energia, força e disposição. Esta semente é uma fonte natural de ômega-3, ômega-6, fibras, proteínas, vitaminas, além de outros componentes nutricionais importantes. Auxilia na prevenção de doenças cardiovasculares, dos sistemas nervoso e inflamatório, diabetes, dentre outros. Haja vista a qualidade fisiológica ser fator imprescindível para uma produção significativa de grãos e sementes e a demanda por elas tem se mostrado expressiva a cada ano, pretende-se com este estudo adequar metodologias para avaliar a qualidade fisiológica de sementes, verificar quais destes testes são mais expressivos para determinar o vigor das mesmas, avaliar a obtenção de mucilagem de chia, e se o vigor das sementes pode interferir na quantidade da mucilagem produzida. Assim, as sementes foram submetidas à determinação de pureza, massa de 100 sementes, grau de umidade, variações nos testes de germinação, crescimento de plântulas, emergência em areia, envelhecimento acelerado, teste de frio sem terra, condutividade elétrica, curva de absorção de água e extração da mucilagem. Após a determinação da metodologia ideal para cada teste, os mesmos foram realizados para sementes cultivadas em dois anos (2013/2014, 2014/2015). A variação da mucilagem foi também avaliada de acordo com o vigor dessas sementes. O experimento foi instalado em delineamento experimental inteiramente ao acaso, em esquema fatorial duplo e triplo, dependendo dos testes. Nas condições testadas, concluiu-se que sementes de chia podem ser germinadas em substratos de papel e areia, com presença ou ausência de luz, nas temperaturas de 15 a 35 ºC. Assim, foram registradas elevadas taxas de porcentagem de germinação. O teste de comprimento de plântula realizado em gerbox por nove dias, o teste de emergência em areia com 0,5 cm de profundidade a 25-30 ºC, o de envelhecimento acelerado foi conduzido a 41 ºC, por 36 horas com água e 45 ºC por 12 horas com solução saturada, e o teste de condutividade elétrica por 24 horas, com 25 mL de água a 25-30 ºC podem ser utilizados para determinar o vigor de sementes de chia. A metodologia proposta foi eficiente para a extração da mucilagem e o vigor de sementes não interferiu na quantidade de mucilagem produzida.

However, applications used for this purpose generally present restrictions on functionality, operating licenses, operating system and others. Thus, the Software for the Definition of Management Units (SDUM) was developed. This thesis aimed at implementing computational routines that will be integrated into SDUM, which are able to identify automatically the best parameters for the ordinary kriging (KRI) interpolation methods and inverse distance weighting (IDW). These routines were applied to the sample data of selected attributes to define MZs in two agricultural areas. For each dataset 300 different adjustments were tested for the semivariogram. The best parameters were used to measure data by KRI as well as twelve different values for IDW exponent. Area A was considered homogeneous because it did not present statistic different mean between classes. While for area B, the best result was subdivided into two distinct classes. MZs usually present isolated cells or patches, in such a way that crop management becomes difficult. In this context, another goal was to implement routines able of adjusting MZs, to smooth and to improve continuity. Three sampled areas were subdivided into two, three, four and five classes, and then adjusted for five times. Isolated pixels and almost all patches were eliminated, especially the methods with 5 × 5 mask. So, it can be concluded that the computational routines implemented were efficient and able to identify the best adjustment for the semivariogram as well as the best exponent for IDW, also smoothing and improving MZs continuity. A utilização de sistemas computacionais para gerência de procedimentos agrícolas é necessidade premente. Porém, aplicativos utilizados com este objetivo geralmente possuem limitações quanto a funcionalidades, licenças de uso, sistema operacional, dentre outras. Por este motivo, foi desenvolvido o Software para Definição de Unidades de Manejo (SDUM). Esta tese teve como objetivo a implementação de rotinas computacionais que serão integradas ao SDUM, capazes de identificar automaticamente os melhores parâmetros para os métodos de interpolação Krigagem ordinária (KRI) e inverso da distância elevado a uma potência (IDW). Estas rotinas foram aplicadas aos dados amostrais de atributos selecionados para definir as ZMs em duas áreas agrícolas. Para cada conjunto de dados foram testados 300 diferentes ajustes para o semivariograma. Os melhores parâmetros foram utilizados para mensurar dados por KRI, e doze diferentes valores para expoente do IDW. A área A foi considerada homogênea por não apresentar média estatisticamente diferente entre as classes. E, para a área B, o melhor resultado obtido foi subdividi-la em duas classes distintas. As ZMs geralmente apresentam células isoladas ou manchas, dificultando a operacionalização da lavoura. Neste contexto, outro objetivo foi a implementação de rotinas capazes de retificar as ZMs a fim de suavizar e melhorar a continuidade. Três áreas amostrais foram subdividas em duas, três, quatro e cinco classes, e então, retificadas por cinco vezes. Pixels isolados e praticamente todas as manchas foram eliminados, com destaque para os métodos com máscara 5 × 5. Pode-se concluir que as rotinas computacionais implementadas foram eficientes e capazes de identificar o melhor ajuste para o semivariograma, bem como o melhor expoente para IDW, além de suavizar e melhorar a continuidade das ZMs.

The hydrological regime that controls nutrient dynamics in floodplains it is very responsive to changes in soil use and soil occupation or by changes climate pattern. In this context, this research aimed at reconstructing the history of nutrient accumulation and eutrophication of the Brazilian Pantanal, identifying the factors and/or phenomena that have influenced those variables. The sedimentation cores were collect in ponds that showed permanent connections to the main channel of Paraguai, São Lourenço and Cuiabá Rivers. The sediment cores were sliced in two-centimeter uniform intervals and quantification of total organic carbon and total nitrogen were carried out by readings in CNS elemental analyzer. Quantification of phosphorus was carried out by mass spectroscopy by inductively coupled plasma. The organic carbon in sediment of Brazilian Pantanal is mainly from allochthonous origin, being the nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients limiting of the productivity in the system, elements whose origins are agricultural practices in the drainage basin. The establishment of geochemical background is indispensable to determine the actual state of soils and sediments contamination. However, there is no scientific consensus about the methodology to determine those values. In this sense, this paper has established the geochemical background in Brazilian Pantanal sediments, based on the integrated method, in order to identify the appropriate calculation methodology for that region. The use of integrated methods, mainly the non-parametric statistics, has proved be useful in reliably determining geochemical reference values. Therefore, the authors recommend integrated methods to establish the geochemical background for others points in the Brazilian Pantanal. As planícies aluviais apresentam elevado potencial de transformação dos nutrientes, entretanto, o seu acúmulo em níveis críticos gera a degradação do ecossistema. O regime hidrológico que controla a dinâmica de nutrientes nas planícies aluviais, é muito sensível às mudanças no uso e ocupação do solo ou por mudança no padrão climático. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo tem por objetivo reconstruir o histórico do acúmulo de nutrientes e da eutrofização do Pantanal brasileiro, identificando os fatores e/ou fenômenos que influenciaram essas variáveis. Perfis de sedimento foram coletados em lagoas com ligações permanentes ao curso principal dos rios Paraguai, São Lourenço e Cuiabá. Os perfis de sedimento foram fatiados em intervalos uniformes de dois centímetros e as quantificações do carbono orgânico total e nitrogênio total foram realizadas por leituras em analisador elementar CNS. A quantificação do fósforo foi realizada por espectrometria de massa por plasma acoplado indutivamente. Observou-se que o carbono orgânico total no sedimento do Pantanal brasileiro é principalmente de origem alóctone, sendo o nitrogênio e o fósforo os nutrientes limitantes da produtividade no sistema, cuja origem são as práticas agrícolas na bacia de drenagem. O estabelecimento de valores geoquímicos de referência é indispensável para determinar o real estado de contaminação dos solos e sedimentos. Entretanto, não existe consenso científico quanto à metodologia de determinação destes valores. Nesse sentido, esta pesquisa busca estabelecer os valores geoquímicos de referência dos sedimentos do Pantanal brasileiro a partir do método integrado, a fim de identificar a metodologia de cálculo mais apropriada para a região. A utilização dos métodos integrados, principalmente a utilização de estatística não paramétrica, demonstrou-se útil para determinar, de forma confiável, os valores geoquímicos de referência. Sendo assim, os autores recomendam o uso de métodos integrados para que se estabeleçam os valores geoquímicos de referência para outros pontos no Pantanal brasileiro.

There are several methods proposed to execute them, but due to their complexity, they need to be made available by computer systems. In this study, 5 methods based on spatial correlation analysis, principal component analysis (PCA) and multivariate spatial analysis based on Moran’s index and PCA (MULTISPATI-PCA) were evaluated. A new variable selection algorithm, named MPCA-SC, based on the combined use of spatial correlation analysis and MULTISPATI-PCA, was proposed. The potential use of 20 clustering algorithms for the generation of MZs was evaluated: average linkage, bagged clustering, centroid linkage, clustering large applications, complete linkage, divisive analysis, fuzzy analysis clustering (fanny), fuzzy c-means, fuzzy c-shells, hard competitive learning, hybrid hierarchical clustering, k-means, McQuitty’s method (mcquitty), median linkage, neural gas, partitioning around medoids, single linkage, spherical k-means, unsupervised fuzzy competitive learning, and Ward’s method. Two computational modules developed to provide the variable selection and data clustering methods for definition of MZs were also presented. The evaluations were conducted with data obtained between 2010 and 2015 in three commercial agricultural areas, cultivated with soybean and corn, in the state of Paraná, Brazil. The experiments performed to evaluate the 5 variable selection algorithms showed that the new method MPCA-SC can improve the quality of MZs in several aspects, even obtaining satisfactory results with the other 4 algorithms. The evaluation experiments of the 20 clustering methods showed that 17 of them were suitable for the delineation of MZs, especially fanny and mcquitty. Finally, it was concluded that the two computational modules developed made it possible to obtain quality MZs. Furthermore, these modules constitute a more complete computer system than other free-to-use software such as FuzME, MZA, and SDUM, in terms of the diversity of variable selection and data clustering algorithms. A seleção de variáveis e a análise de agrupamento de dados são atividades fundamentais para a definição de zonas de manejo (ZMs) de qualidade. Para executar essas duas atividades, existem diversos métodos propostos, que devido à sua complexidade precisam ser executados por meio da utilização de sistemas computacionais. Neste trabalho, avaliaramse 5 métodos de seleção de variáveis baseados em análise de correlação espacial, análise de componentes principais (ACP) e análise espacial multivariada baseada no índice de Moran e em ACP (MULTISPATI-PCA). Propôs-se um novo algoritmo de seleção de variáveis, denominado MPCA-SC, desenvolvido a partir da aplicação conjunta da análise de correlação espacial e de MULTISPATI-PCA. Os experimentos efetuados para avaliar os 5 algoritmos de seleção de variáveis mostraram que o novo método MPCA-SC pode melhorar a qualidade de ZMs em diversos aspectos, mesmo obtendo-se resultados satisfatórios com os outros 4 algoritmos. Os experimentos de avaliação dos 20 métodos de agrupamento citados mostraram que 17 deles foram adequados para o delineamento de ZMs, com destaque para fanny e mcquitty. Por fim, concluiu-se que os dois módulos computacionais desenvolvidos possibilitaram a obtenção de ZMs de qualidade. In this work, it was attempted to improve techniques used in the MZs generation process. First, the influence of data normalization techniques in the clustering process was studied using the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm data proposed in the literature. It was also evaluated the use of the producer s experience as a new variable for the generation of the MZs and a piece of software was developed for the purpose of capturing this variable and managing agricultural data. The experiments were carried out with data obtained between the years of 2011 and 2016 from four commercial agricultural areas, located in the State of Paraná, where corn and soybean had been grown. With the experiments concluded, it was possible to assert that the technique of normalization of data influences the process of grouping when more than one variable is used with different scales of values and that the technique that presented better results was the normalization by amplitude. The proposed variable "farmer s experience" showed good results in the generation of the MZs and, with such, it was possible to generate management areas with different productive potential between the classes and thus, it can be used as a new variable to be used combined with the variables of stable soil conditions. Based on the positive results generated by the variable experience of the producer in three agricultural areas, a piece of software was developed that allows the insertion of this variable by the producer. The software called AgData-Mobile also allows the management of field data, allowing the producer to insert data of all the operations performed in each field and to keep a record of their areas. In addition this tool stands out for being free and for using clod storage O processo de geração de zonas de manejo (ZMs) compreende várias etapas, entre elas a escolha das variáveis a serem utilizadas no processo de agrupamento, a escolha do melhor interpolador, o uso de um método de normalização de dados e a escolha de um algoritmo adequado para o processo de agrupamento, além de índices de avaliação adequados. Neste trabalho, buscou-se melhorar técnicas utilizadas no processo de geração de ZMs e, para isso, primeiro foi estudada a influência de técnicas de normalização de dados no processo de agrupamento utilizando o algoritmo Fuzzy C-Means, em que foram avaliadas as três principais técnicas de normalização de dados propostas na literatura. Avaliou-se também a utilização da experiência do produtor como uma nova variável para a geração das ZMs, e foi desenvolvido um software para fins de definição dessa variável e para gerenciamento de dados agrícolas. Os experimentos foram realizados com dados obtidos entre os anos de 2011 e 2016 de quatro áreas agrícolas comerciais, localizadas no estado do Paraná, nas quais se cultivaram milho e soja. Com os experimentos realizados foi possível concluir que a técnica de normalização de dados exerce influência no processo de agrupamento quando é utilizada mais de uma variável com diferentes escalas de valores e que a técnica que apresentou melhores resultados foi a de normalização pela amplitude dos dados. A variável proposta "experiência do produtor" apresentou bons resultados na geração das ZMs. Fazendo uso dessa variável foi possível gerar zonas de manejo com potencial produtivo distinto entre as classes e, sendo assim, pode ser utilizada como uma nova variável a ser utilizada juntamente com as variáveis estáveis do solo. Com base nos bons resultados obtidos pela variável experiência do produtor em três áreas agrícolas, foi desenvolvido um software que permite a inserção dessa variável pelo produtor. O software chamado AgData-Mobile permite, ainda, realizar o gerenciamento de dados de campo, possibilitando que o produtor insira dados de todas as operações realizadas em cada talhão e mantenha um registro de suas áreas. Currently, the monitoring of agricultural production is still partially carried out through subjective and onerous techniques by Brazilian official bodies. The study of the agricultural monitoring and/or estimation of winter crops yield, using vegetation indexes extracted from multitemporal images of the MODIS sensor, is a reality that has been tested by several authors, in the search for greater objectivity to the generated figures. In this context, this research aims to map and estimate areas with winter and maize crops, using temporal series of the EVI vegetation index from the MODIS sensor of the Terra and Aqua satellites, for the 2012, 2013, and 2014 harvests for the state of Paraná. As a way of adjusting the mapping through the MODIS sensor (250 meters), the visual analysis was performed in which images of medium spatial resolution (30 meters) were used to identify the chosen cultures. In article 1, color compositions were generated using images from the pre-planting period until the initial development and images representing the vegetative peak of the crops. Subsequently, the extraction of cultivated areas with the crops of interest was performed, so that these could be compared with official data through statistics and correlations, as well as accuracy analyzes. In Article 2, colored compositions were generated using only the vegetative peak images of the cultures to be classified using the Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM) algorithm. Subsequently, the masks were compared with official data through statistics and correlations, as well as accuracy analyzes. In Article 1, an underestimation of the safflower and winter crops areas was found for the 2012 and 2013 crops, and an overestimation for the 2014 safflower, and for the winter crops, overestimation. By the accuracy analyzes, the masks were classified with excellence. In Article 2, it was verified that the data of areas were overestimated for the safflower corn and underestimated for the winter crops. The accuracy analyzes were classified as excellent, in relation to the medium resolution image. A obtenção de tecnologias eficazes para a previsão e o acompanhamento de safras agrícolas ressalta a busca de metodologias que disponibilizem essas informações antes da colheita. Atualmente, o acompanhamento da produção agrícola é ainda em parte realizado por meio de técnicas subjetivas e onerosas por órgãos oficiais brasileiros. O estudo do monitoramento agrícola e/ou estimativa de safras das culturas de inverno, utilizando índices de vegetação extraídos de imagens multitemporais do sensor MODIS, é uma realidade que tem sido testada por diversos autores na busca de maior objetividade para os valores gerados. Nesse contexto, esta pesquisa tem por objetivo mapear e estimar áreas com as lavouras de inverno e de milho safrinha, utilizando séries temporais do índice de vegetação EVI, provenientes do sensor MODIS dos satélites Terra e Aqua, nas safras 2012, 2013 e 2014 para o estado do Paraná. Como forma de ajustar o mapeamento por meio do sensor MODIS (250 metros), foi realizada uma análise visual em que foram utilizadas imagens de média resolução espacial (30 metros) para identificação das culturas desejadas. No Artigo 1 foram geradas composições coloridas utilizando imagens do período de pré-plantio até o desenvolvimento inicial e imagens que representam o pico vegetativos das lavouras. Posteriormente, foi realizada a extração de áreas cultivadas com as lavouras de interesse para que pudessem ser comparadas com dados oficiais por meio de estatísticas e correlações, como também análises de acurácia. No Artigo 2 foram geradas composições coloridas utilizando somente as imagens que representam os picos vegetativos das lavouras para serem classificadas, utilizando o algoritmo SAM (Spectral angle mapper). Posteriormente, as máscaras foram comparadas com dados oficiais por meio de estatísticas e correlações, como também análises de acurácia. No Artigo 1 foi verificada subestimação para o milho 2ª safra nas safras 2012 e 2013 e superestimação em 2014 e, para lavouras de inverno, superestimação. Pelas análises de acurácia, as máscaras foram classificadas com excelência. No Artigo 2 foi verificado que os dados de áreas foram superestimados para o milho 2ª safra e subestimados para as lavouras de inverno. As análises de acurácia foram classificadas como excelentes em relação à imagem de média resolução.

One way of using precision agriculture is to divide the area used for cultivation into individualized plots with similar productive potentials within the plot and different among plots; these fractions of the total area are called Management Units (MUs). In this context, the objective of the study was to verify the effectiveness of the division of the area in MUs and to define the plant density for the soybean crop that provides greater productive efficiency in each MU in an experimental area with 15.5 ha, located in Céu Azul City, Paraná State, in Brazil. In the experiment, the formation of the MUs occurred following the steps: collection of soil samples to characterize the chemical and physical attributes; selection of attributes with higher correlation with productivity; interpolation and generation of thematic maps with the values of the attributes selected in the sample points; grouping of data and definition of MUs, considering that the entire computational process was performed with the help of the Software for the Definition of Management Units (SDUM). For the formation of MUs, it was used the attributes of altitude and soil penetration resistance 0-0.1m, attributes that have a greater spatial correlation with productivity in the field. The area was divided into 2 MUs, 4 contour lines (CLs) and 16 plots. In the field, 2 plant densities were applied, 214,000 and 257,000 plants ha-1, and each density was applied in 8 different plots, using line spacing of 0.70 m. In order to characterize and quantify differences in MUs and CLs and the efficiency of plant densities in the MUs, the productivity was measured at 37 points in each plot. Regarding productivity, it was found that there was a significant difference at the level of 5% between MUs, being that the MU with greater productive potential, located in the highest part in the area, achieved higher productivity; the application of the two different plant densities in the MUs generated effect, being that the densities of 214,000 and 257,000 plants ha-1 reached, respectively, higher productivity in MU2 and MU1; also, there was a difference in productivity between CLs. A agricultura de precisão é essencial para produtores que desejam aumentar sua produtividade e reduzir custos com insumos agrícolas. Uma forma de se utilizar a agricultura de precisão é dividindo-se a área utilizada para cultivo em parcelas individualizadas, com potenciais produtivos semelhantes dentro da parcela e diferentes entre parcelas; essas frações da área total são chamadas de Unidades de Manejo (UMs). Nesse contexto, o objetivo do trabalho foi constatar a efetividade da divisão da área em UMs e definir a densidade de plantas para o cultivo de soja que proporcione maior eficiência produtiva em cada UM em área experimental com 15,5 ha, localizada em Céu Azul/PR. No experimento, a formação das UMs ocorreu seguindo-se as etapas: coleta de amostras de solo para caracterizar os atributos químicos e físicos; seleção de atributos com maior correlação com a produtividade; interpolação e geração de mapas temáticos com os valores dos atributos selecionados nos pontos amostrados; agrupamento de dados e definição de UMs, sendo que todo o processo computacional foi realizado com o auxílio do Software para Definição de Unidades de Manejo (SDUM). Para formação das UMs utilizou-se dos atributos altitude e a resistência a penetração do solo 0-0,1 m, que possuem maior correlação espacial com a produtividade no local trabalhado. A área foi dividida em 2 UMs, 4 curvas de nível (CNs) e 16 parcelas. Aplicou-se no plantio 2 densidades de plantas, 214.000 e 257.000 plantas ha-1, sendo que cada densidade foi aplicada em 8 parcelas diferentes, utilizando o espaçamento entre linhas de 0,70 m. Para caracterizar e quantificar diferenças nas UMs e nas CNs e a eficiência das densidades de plantas nas UMs, a produtividade foi medida em 37 pontos em cada parcela. Constatou-se em relação à produtividade que houve diferença significativa ao nível de 5% entre UMs, sendo que a UM com maior potencial produtivo, localizada na parte mais elevada na área, alcançou maior produtividade. Houve efeito na aplicação das duas diferentes densidades de plantas nas UMs, sendo que as densidades de 214.000 e 257.000 plantas ha-1 alcançaram, respectivamente, produtividade superior na UM2 e na UM1; além disso, existiu diferença na produtividade entre as CNs.

The use of IV in a given period of crop development or throughout its cycle, has generated good relations with agronomic parameters. There are several IV, the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) being one of the most used. NDVI correlates with some agronomic variables such as plant height, leaf area index (LAI), dry matter, chlorophyll index (CI), soil cover degree, plant height and photosynthetically active intercepted radiation (PAIR). Hence, the objective of this work is to compare and intercalibrate NDVI spectral-temporal profiles obtained by different terrestrial remote Sensors, and to use these profiles to estimate biophysical parameters (LAI, CI, PAIR, and Plant Height) for soybean and bean, in addition to estimating and studying soybean yield through models with spectral-temporal data obtained by different terrestrial remote sensors. The ground sensors used are the GreenSeeker 505 Handheld active sensor and the passive hyperspectral FieldSpec4 Standard-Res model. The NDVI values of the passive (NDVI FS) and active (NDVI GS) sensors presented high correlation (soybean rs = 0.90 and bean rs = 0.93) and the linear models respond well to an intercalibration considering the entire phenological cycle of soybean (R² = 0.83, RMSE = 0.0161 e dr = 0.85) and beans (R² = 0.92, RMSE = 0.0038 e dr = 0.89). The saturation of the NDVI values at the survey dates that are located during the vegetative peak of the crops and the presence of adverse climatic events decreased the precision of the models in certain periods of the phenological cycle of the crops. The variables LAI and Height for both crops and CI for the soybean crop obtained better results when estimated by the values of NDVI GS. PAIR for both crops and CI for bean obtained better adjustments considering the models using NDVI FS values. For the variable productivity, there was no significant correlation with the NDVI GS and NDVI FS. However, it presented relations with the accumulation of reflectance observed in the RED and NIR bands for both sensors as a result of different collection dates. The best relations of productivity were with the accumulation of reflectance values of the spectroradiometer bands on DAS76 and DAS71 dates. A dinâmica espaço-temporal das culturas agrícolas pode ser monitorada por meio de Índices de Vegetação (IV) em múltiplas datas. A utilização do IV, em um determinado período do desenvolvimento das culturas, ou, ainda, em todo o seu ciclo, possui boas relações com parâmetros agronômicos. Há diversos IVs, sendo o NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) um dos mais utilizados. O NDVI possui relação com algumas variáveis agronômicas como altura de planta, Índice de Área Foliar (IAF), matéria seca, índice de clorofila (IC), grau de cobertura do solo, altura de planta e radiação fotossinteticamente ativa interceptada (RFAI). Neste sentido, o objetivo deste trabalho foi comparar perfis espectro-temporais NDVI obtidos por diferentes sensores remotos terrestres, e utilizar esses perfis para estimar parâmetros biofísicos (IAF, IC, RFAI e altura de planta) para a soja e o feijão, além de estimar/estudar a produtividade da soja por meio de modelos com dados espectro-temporais obtidos por diferentes sensores remotos terrestres. Utilizou-se o sensor ativo GreenSeeker 505 Handheld e o sensor passivo hiperespectral FieldSpec4 modelo Standard-Res. Os valores de NDVI dos sensores passivos (NDVI FS) e ativos (NDVI GS) apresentaram alta correlação (soja rs = 0,90 e feijão rs = 0,93), e os modelos lineares respondem bem a um ajuste, ao se considerar todo o ciclo fenológico da soja (R² = 0,83, RMSE = 0,0161 e dr = 0,85) e feijão (R² = 0,92, RMSE = 0,0038 e dr = 0,89). A saturação dos valores de NDVIs nas datas de levantamento que se situam durante o pico vegetativo das culturas e a presença de eventos climáticos adverso diminuíram a precisão dos modelos em determinados períodos do ciclo fenológico das culturas. As variáveis IAF e altura para a soja e o feijão e IC para a soja obtiveram melhores resultados ao ser estimadas por meio dos valores de NDVI GS. RFAI para ambas as culturas e IC para o feijão obtiveram melhores ajustes por meio dos modelos que se utilizavam de valores de NDVI FS. Para a produtividade, não houve correlação significativa com os NDVI GS e NDVI FS. Entretanto, apresentou relações com o acúmulo de refletância observados nas bandas RED e NIR para ambos os sensores em diferentes datas de coleta. As melhores relações da produtividade foram com o acúmulo de refletância das bandas do espectroradiômetro nas datas DAS76 e DAS71.

Therefore the quality control system in the seed industry must be reliable, accurate and fast. Seed technology research has been striving to develop or improve tests to enable seed quality evaluation. Tetrazolium test, besides evaluating the viability and vigor of the seeds, provides information about the potencial causing agents of quality reduction. Even though not using expensive instruments and reagents, the test requires a well-trained seed analyst, and the test’s accuracy depends on their knowledge about the all involved techniques and procedures, including the subjectivity of the observer. Therefore, the objective of the present research was to develop a computational tool that could minimize the implicit subjectivity in the test, contributing to increase information credibility and ensure the accuracy results. This tool allows, by tetrazolium test images, to identify seeds damage, as well as their location and extension, making the interpretation less subjective. From the feature extraction data in digital images of tetrazolium test, supervised classification algorithms were applied to do segmentation in the images, generating a classified image. The proposed system was tested using a selection of samples to training the classifier model and, from this model, the images classification of the tetrazolium test, to extract information about the seeds damage. The system allowed, in addition to an easier way for damages identification in the tetrazolium test images, the extraction of accurate information on displayed damage and achieve the control of the analyzed samples. The classifier performed the assignment of the predetermined categories efficiently for non-present data training set, with 96.6% of correctly classified instances and Kappa index of 0.95%, making the system a supplementary tool in decision making for the tetrazolium test. A produção e a utilização de sementes de alta qualidade são fatores de importância para o cultivo da soja. Para isso, o sistema de controle de qualidade na indústria de sementes deve ser confiável, preciso e rápido. A pesquisa em tecnologia de sementes tem se esforçado em desenvolver ou aprimorar testes que possibilitem a avaliação da qualidade das sementes. O teste de tetrazólio, além de avaliar a viabilidade e o vigor de sementes, fornece informações sobre possíveis agentes causadores da redução de sua qualidade. Embora não se utilize de instrumentos e reagentes caros, o teste requer um analista de sementes bem treinado, sendo que a precisão do mesmo depende do conhecimento de todas as técnicas e procedimentos envolvidos, devendo-se considerar a subjetividade do observador. Sendo assim, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi desenvolver uma ferramenta computacional que minimizasse a subjetividade implícita na realização do teste, contribuindo para gerar maior credibilidade nas informações e garantindo precisão nos resultados. Esta ferramenta permite, a partir de imagens do teste de tetrazólio, realizar a identificação dos danos presentes nas sementes, bem como sua localização e sua extensão nos tecidos, tornando a interpretação menos subjetiva. A partir da extração de dados de características das imagens digitais do teste de tetrazólio, foram aplicados algoritmos de classificação supervisionada para realizar a segmentação destas imagens, produzindo uma imagem classificada. O sistema proposto foi testado utilizando a seleção de amostras para treino do modelo classificador e, a partir deste modelo, a classificação das imagens do teste de tetrazólio, para extração de informações sobre os danos verificados nas sementes. O sistema permitiu, além da identificação dos danos nas imagens do teste de tetrazólio de forma facilitada, a extração de informações mais seguras sobre os danos presentes e realizar o controle das amostras analisadas. O classificador realizou a atribuição das classes predeterminadas de forma eficiente para dados não presentes no conjunto de treinamento, com 96,6% de instâncias classificadas corretamente e Índice Kappa de 0,95%, tornando o sistema uma ferramenta suplementar na tomada de decisão para o teste de tetrazólio.

Besides yield, studies involving parameters such as quality are essential, since raw materials are seen as a possibility to be used in industry. Thus, this trial aimed at carrying out spatial analysis of quality parameters for soybean and maize (protein and oil content). The index of spatial dependence was calculated, while thematic maps were drawn. Further, analysis of spatial correlation among these parameters and attributes of soil was carried out as well as physical (soil penetration resistance) and chemical of soil (P, K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn MO, Al, pH, H+Al, SB, SMP e Sat. Al, texture (sand, silt and clay), altitude and yield were also recorded. This trial was carried out in two areas (A and B) cropped with soybeans (summer crop) and maize (winter maize) under no-tillage system. Among the studied attributes, K content was significantly correlated (positively) with soybean protein in both experimental areas (A and B) as well as in both studied agricultural years (2012/2013 and 2013/2014.). Clay and mechanical resistance to penetration at 20-30 cm depth showed negative correlation with soybean protein in area B in both agricultural years. Soybean protein and its oil were inversely correlated in both experimental areas: area A (2013/14) and area B in both years (2012/13 and 2013/14). The corn protein showed no spatial dependence. But the oil content presented moderate spatial dependence and showed an inverse correlation with productivity in both areas under study. A importância da atividade agrícola do Brasil faz com que pesquisas sejam desenvolvidas com focos distintos como a influência dos atributos do solo nas culturas e análise espacial do solo, a fim de se realizar um manejo mais adequado, com menor impacto ambiental e aumentar a produtividade das culturas, dentre elas a soja e o milho. Além da produtividade, verifica-se a importância de estudos que envolvam parâmetros como a qualidade, tendo em vista a possibilidade de utilização da matéria prima para a indústria. Assim, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo realizar uma análise espacial dos parâmetros de qualidade (proteína e teor de óleo) de soja e milho. Calculou-se o índice de dependência espacial e elaboraram-se mapas temáticos. Buscou-se ainda realizar a análise de correlação espacial entre estes parâmetros e atributos físicos (resistência do solo à penetração) e químicos do solo (P, K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn MO, Al, pH, H+Al, SB, SMP e Sat. Al), textura (areia, silte e argila), altitude e com a produtividade. O experimento foi conduzido em duas áreas cultivadas (A e B) com soja (safra de verão) e milho (safrinha) sob sistema de plantio direto. Dentre os atributos estudados, o teor de K correlacionou de forma significativa (positiva) com a proteína de soja, nas duas áreas experimentais (A e B) e nos dois anos agrícolas estudados (2012/2013 e 2013/2014.). A argila e a resistência mecânica à penetração na profundidade (20-30 cm) apresentaram correlação negativa com a proteína de soja na área B nos dois anos agrícolas. A proteína de soja e o óleo de soja correlacionaram-se inversamente nas duas áreas experimentais: área A (2013/14) e na área B nos dois anos (2012/13 e 2013/14). Já o teor de proteína de milho não demonstrou dependência espacial. Já o teor de óleo apresentou dependência espacial moderada e apresentou correlação inversa com a produtividade nas duas áreas em estudo.

In Brazil, the dynamic cooling of soybean seeds is carried out before bagging and consists on injecting cold air into the seed mass in order to reduce temperature and seed deterioration during storage. In this context, this trial aimed at analyzing soybean seeds that were cooled under dynamic system and stored in air-conditioned warehouse, seeds that were not cooled but stored in air-conditioned warehouse, and seeds that were not cooled but they were stored at room temperature in a conventional warehouse. The following control tests of quality were analyzed: water content, one hundred-seed mass, germination, seedling growth and emergence in sand at the beginning and every thirty days, throughout the whole storage period. Tests of purity, tetrazolium, accelerated aging, sodium hypochlorite, controlled deterioration and cold test were also carried out at the beginning of the experiment. The applied methodologies were determined by RAS (Rules for Seed Analysis) and set by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply. The trial was carried out based on a completely randomized design. The data were submitted to analysis of variance and linear regression. There was no statistical difference among the studied treatments. Seeds kept their physical and physiological quality throughout the storage period. Dynamic cooling is not justified for seeds with high physiological performance. O desenvolvimento de procedimentos eficientes para a produção, comercialização e utilização de lotes de sementes de alta qualidade caracteriza a tecnologia de sementes. O resfriamento dinâmico de sementes de soja no Brasil é feito antes do ensacamento e consiste na injeção de ar frio para dentro da massa de sementes, para reduzir a temperatura e, consequentemente, a deterioração. Nesse contexto, estabeleceu-se como objetivo para este trabalho analisar sementes de soja, resfriadas sob sistema dinâmico e armazenadas em armazém climatizado, não resfriadas e armazenadas em armazém climatizado e não resfriadas e armazenadas em temperatura ambiente, em armazém convencional. Foram realizados testes de controle de qualidade para: teor de água, massa de 100 sementes, germinação, crescimento de plântulas e emergência em areia, no início e a cada trinta dias, durante todo o período de armazenamento. Foram realizados, também, testes de pureza, tetrazólio, envelhecimento acelerado, hipoclorito de sódio, deterioração controlada e teste frio, no início da instalação do experimento. As metodologias foram as definidas nas Regras para Análises de Sementes RAS, estabelecidas pelo Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento. O experimento foi realizado em delineamento inteiramente casualizado. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância e regressão linear. Não houve diferença estatística entre os tratamentos. As sementes mantiveram a qualidade física e fisiológica durante todo o período de armazenamento. O resfriamento dinâmico não se justifica para sementes de alto desempenho fisiológico.

Thus, this study aimed at developing an automation embedded prototype to change to sprinklers with an embedded electronic device in order to reduce the risks to the operator's health since there is no hand contact with the nozzles. It was developed a complete prototype with three sets of application that was controlled in an independent way for each type of nozzle sets. The applications were carried out on water-sensitive paper labels, whose working pressure nozzles were calibrated at 4.1 bar to check the equipment quality on application as well as the volumetric median diameter - VMD, numeric median diameter NMD, drop density, cover percentage and drop volume. The results from flow tests were based on catalog data provided by the tested nozzle manufacturer. The prototype was robust and efficient for practical use and it was also possible to carry out nozzles changing in a quick way and without hand-operator contact with the studied nozzles A aplicação de defensivos agrícolas tem contribuído para o crescimento da produtividade agrícola do País, por conseguinte, controladores eletrônicos têm sido utilizados na agricultura moderna. O objetivo deste trabalho foi o desenvolvimento de um protótipo de automação embarcada para a transição de bicos de pulverizadores com um dispositivo eletrônico embarcado, diminuindo os riscos à saúde do operador por não haver contato manual com os bicos. Foi desenvolvido um protótipo completo contendo três conjuntos de aplicação controlados de forma independente para cada tipo de conjuntos de bicos. As aplicações foram realizadas sobre etiquetas de papel hidrossensível, cujos bicos na pressão de trabalho estavam calibrados em 4,1 bar, para verificação da qualidade do equipamento na aplicação e o diâmetro mediano volumétrico DMV, diâmetro mediano numérico DMN, densidade de gotas, % de cobertura e volume das gotas. Os resultados dos testes de vazão ficaram de acordo com os dados do catálogo fornecido pelo fabricante dos bicos testados. O protótipo apresentou-se robusto e eficiente para a utilização prática, sendo possível realizar a troca de bicos de forma rápida e sem contado manual do operador com os bicos.

However, sometimes the high cost of this technology, as well as low temporal and spatial resolution are unfeasible with such technique mainly in small areas. Thus, this study aimed at analyzing thoroughtly the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle UAV, at low cost of development and establishment to determine the green indices of crambe crop in the western region of Paraná. The applied methodology developed up from the purchase of equipment until the UAV setting to determine RNIR NDVI and SAVI green indices, based on the images produced by the equipment. It was carried out a comparative with terrestrial to validate data with an active GreenSeeker sensor and a passive Spectroradiometer. As a result, three indices of vegetation for the three sensors were created and statistically compared using Spearman's correlation coefficient at 5% significance level. The studied equipment showed some satisfactory performance and there was no anomaly, since it followed the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) safety standards. According to the economic viability, it was also positive since the setting and development costs did not exceed 10% value of the most part of the equipment currently sold in Brazil. According to the index values generated by sensors entrained in the UAV, it was possible to determine each stage of cranberry plant development, totaling seven flights during it scropcycle. When the passive sensor coupled to the UAV was compared to active field sensors GreenSeeker and Spectroradiometer, the UAV showed a good performance to determine RNIR, NDVI and SAVI indices. Consequently, there was a significant correlation at 5%level only at haying period, which corresponded to blooming and graining start of crambe, for all indices O uso de técnicas de sensoriamento remoto (SR) orbital como ferramenta de auxílio à tomada de decisão, na agricultura de precisão, vem se intensificando nos últimos tempos. Entretanto, os altos custos dessa tecnologia e a baixa resolução temporal e espacial acabam por vezes inviabilizando tal técnica, sobretudo em pequenas áreas. O objetivo do estudo foi fazer uma análise detalhada da utilização de um veículo aéreo não tripulado (VANT) de baixo custo de desenvolvimento e implantação, na determinação de índices de vegetação, da cultura de crambe, na região oeste do Paraná. Metodologicamente, o estudo se desenvolveu desde a compra dos equipamentos para a montagem do VANT até a determinação dos índices de vegetação RNIR, NDVI e SAVI, a partir das imagens geradas pelo equipamento. Para a validação dos dados, foi realizado um comparativo com sensores terrestres, sendo um sensor ativo Greenseeker e um sensor passivo Espectroradiômetro. Assim, os três índices de vegetação foram gerados para os três sensores e comparados estatisticamente pelo coeficiente de correlação de Spearman a nível de significância de 5%. O equipamento montado para este estudo apresentou um desempenho satisfatório sem apresentar nenhuma anomalia e atendendo às normas de segurança da ANAC. Do ponto de vista da viabilidade econômica, o resultado também foi positivo, uma vez que os custos de montagem e desenvolvimento não ultrapassaram 10% do valor de grande parte dos equipamentos comercializados atualmente no Brasil. A partir dos valores dos índices gerados pelos sensores embarcados no VANT, foi possível determinar cada etapa do desenvolvimento da planta do crambe, perfazendo sete voos durante o ciclo do cultivo. Quando comparados os sensores passivos acoplados ao VANT com os sensores de campo ativo Greenseeker e passivo Espectroradiômetro, o VANT apresentou um bom desempenho na determinação dos índices RNIR, NDVI e SAVI; entretanto, com correlação significativa ao nível de 5% somente na fase de fenologia correspondente ao florescimento e início da granação do crambe, para todos os índices.
