We consider the discrete defocusing nonlinear Schr\"odinger equation in its integrable version, which is called defocusing Ablowitz-Ladik lattice. We consider periodic boundary conditions with period $N$ and initial data sample according to the Generalized Gibbs ensemble. In this setting, the Lax matrix of the Ablowitz-Ladik lattice is a random CMV-periodic matrix and it is related to the Killip-Nenciu Circular $\beta$-ensemble at high-temperature. We obtain the generalized free energy of the Ablowitz-Ladik lattice and the density of states of the random Lax matrix by establishing a mapping to the one-dimensional log-gas. We study solutions to the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation whose underlying algebraic curves undergo tropical degenerations. The paper investigates the multiple rogue wave solutions associated with the generalized Hirota-Satsuma-Ito (HSI) equation and the newly proposed extended (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo-Miwa (JM) equation with the help of a symbolic computation technique. By incorporating a direct variable transformation and utilizing Hirota’s bilinear form, multiple rogue wave structures of different orders are obtained for both generalized HSI and JM equation. The obtained bilinear forms of the proposed equations successfully investigate the 1 s t , 2 n d and 3 r d -order rogue waves. The constructed solutions are verified by inserting them into original equations. The computations are assisted with 3D graphs to analyze the propagation dynamics of these rogue waves. Physical properties of these waves are governed by different parameters that are discussed in details.

In the fields of oceanography, hydrodynamics, and marine engineering, many mathematicians and physicists are interested in Burgers-type equations to show the different dynamics of nonlinear wave phenomena, one of which is a (3+1)-dimensional Burgers system that is currently being studied. In this paper, we apply two different analytical methods, namely the generalized Kudryashov (GK) method, and the generalized exponential rational function method, to derive abundant novel analytic exact solitary wave solutions, including multi-wave solitons, multi-wave peakon solitons, kink-wave profiles, stripe solitons, wave-wave interaction profiles, and periodic oscillating wave profiles for a (3+1)-dimensional Burgers system with the assistance of symbolic computation. By employing the generalized Kudryashov method, we obtain some new families of exact solitary wave solutions for the Burgers system. Further, we applied the generalized exponential rational function method to obtain a large number of soliton solutions in the forms of trigonometric and hyperbolic function solutions, exponential rational function solutions, periodic breather-wave soliton solutions, dark and bright solitons, singular periodic oscillating wave soliton solutions, and complex multi-wave solutions under various family cases. Based on soft computing via Wolfram Mathematica, all the newly established solutions are verified by back substituting them into the considered Burgers system. Eventually, the dynamical behaviors of some established results are exhibited graphically through three - and two-dimensional wave profiles via numerical simulation.

We consider the following nonlinear Schrödinger equation of derivative type: \begin{equation} i \partial_t u + \partial_x^2 u +i |u|^{2} \partial_x u +b|u|^4u=0 , \quad (t,x) \in \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}, \ b \in \mathbb{R}. \end{equation} If $b=0$, this equation is a gauge equivalent form of well-known derivative nonlinear Schrödinger (DNLS) equation. The soliton profile of the DNLS equation satisfies a certain double power elliptic equation with cubic-quintic nonlinearities. The quintic nonlinearity in the equation only affects the coefficient in front of the quintic term in the elliptic equation, so the additional nonlinearity is natural as a perturbation preserving soliton profiles of the DNLS equation. If $b>-\frac{3}{16}$, the equation has algebraic solitons as well as exponentially decaying solitons. This paper studied new class of integral equation called the Korteweg-de Vries-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KdV-KP) equation. This equation consist of the well-known fifth-order KdV equation in the context of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. The newly gathered class of sixth-order KdV-KP equation is studied using the sub-equation method to obtain several soliton-type solutions which consist of trigonometric, hyperbolic, and rational solutions. The application of the sub-equation approach in this work draws attention to the outstanding characteristics of the suggested method and its ability to handle completely integrable equations. Furthermore, the obtained solutions have not been reported in the previous literature and might have significant impact on future research.

Dust-acoustic waves (DAWs) are analyzed in the small amplitude limit in a collisionless unmagnetized dusty plasma whose constituents are inertial dust grains, massless ions expressed by the generalized ( r , q ) distribution and inertialess Maxwellian electrons using the fluid theory of plasmas. The modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (mKP) equation is derived at a critical plasma condition for which the quadratic nonlinearity vanishes. The propagation of single soliton and interaction of two solitons are analyzed for the mKP equation in the context of plasma physics by employing Hirota bilinear formalism. The effects of the flatness parameter r and tail parameter q of the ions on the frequency of the DAWs are studied and the comparison with Maxwellian and kappa distributions is drawn. Using the plasma parameters corresponding to the Saturn’s E-ring, the range of electric field amplitude for dust-acoustic solitary waves (DASWs) for different ion distributions is calculated and is shown to agree very well with the Cassini Wideband Receiver (WBR) observations. The interaction time of two DASWs for non-Maxwellian ion distributions is estimated and shown to be fastest for the ( r , q ) distributed ions. The interesting feature of the interaction between compressive solitons with their rarefactive counterparts is also discussed in detail.

In this paper, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of solutions to the Cauchy problem with the far field condititon for the generalized Benjamin–Bona–Mahony–Burgers equation with a fourth-order dissipative term. When the corresponding Riemann problem for the hyperbolic part admits a Riemann solution which consists of single rarefaction wave, it is proved that the solution of the Cauchy problem tends toward the rarefaction wave as time goes to infinity. We can further obtain the same global asymptotic stability of the rarefaction wave to the generalized Korteweg–de Vries–Benjamin–Bona–Mahony–Burgers equation with a fourth-order dissipative term as the former one.

In this research article, the perturbed nonlinear Schrodinger equation (P-NLSE) is examined by utilizing two analytical methods, namely the extended modified auxiliary equation mapping and the generalized Riccati equation mapping methods. Consequently, we establish several sorts of new families of complex soliton wave solutions such as hyperbolic functions, trigonometric functions, dark and bright solitons, periodic solitons, singular solitons, and kink-type solitons wave solutions of the P-NLSE. Using the mentioned methods, the results are displayed in 3D and 2D contours for specific values of the open parameters. The obtained findings demonstrate that the implemented techniques are capable of identifying the exact solutions of the other complex nonlinear evolution equations (C-NLEEs) that arise in a range of applied disciplines.

In this study, we investigate the (2 + 1)-dimensional Korteweg-De Vries (KdV) equation with the extension of time-dependent coefficients. A symbolic computational method, the simplified Hirota’s method, and a long-wave method are utilized to create various exact solutions to the suggested equation. The symbolic computational method is applied to create the Lump solutions and periodic lump waves. Hirota’s method and a long-wave method are implemented to explore single-, double- and triple-M-lump waves, and interaction physical phenomena such as an interaction of single-M-lump with one-, two-soliton solutions, as well as a collision of double-M-lump with single-soliton waves. Furthermore, the simplified Hirota’s method is employed to explore complex multi-soliton solutions. To realize dynamics, the gained solutions are drawn via utilizing different arbitrary variable coefficients.

The Painleve-IV equation has two families of rational solutions generated respectively by the generalized Hermite polynomials and the generalized Okamoto polynomials. We apply the isomonodromy method to represent all of these rational solutions by means of two related Riemann-Hilbert problems, each of which involves two integer-valued parameters related to the two parameters in the Painleve-IV equation. We then use the steepest-descent method to analyze the rational solutions in the limit that at least one of the parameters is large. Our analysis provides rigorous justification for formal asymptotic arguments that suggest that in general solutions of Painleve-IV with large parameters behave either as an algebraic function or an elliptic function. Moreover, the results show that the elliptic approximation holds on the union of a curvilinear rectangle and, in the case of the generalized Okamoto rational solutions, four curvilinear triangles each of which shares an edge with the rectangle; the algebraic approximation is valid in the complementary unbounded domain. We compare the theoretical predictions for the locations of the poles and zeros with numerical plots of the actual poles and zeros obtained from the generating polynomials, and find excellent agreement., Comment: 138 pages, 45 figures

This paper aims to investigate the rotatory dynamical motion of a charged symmetric gyrostat when its center of mass is slightly displaced from the axis of dynamic symmetry as a novel case. A uniform electromagnetic field, due to the presence of point charge located on the axis of symmetry, and a gyrostatic moment are acted on the gyrostatic motion. Equations of motion are derived and solved analytically using the small parameter method of Poincaré for irrational frequencies’ case of the examined motion of the gyrostat. The approximate formulas of the rotating Euler’s angles of the gyrostat are obtained. The time histories of the achieved results and the Euler’s ones are graphed to display the excellent influence of the chosen parameters of the gyrostat on the motion. Moreover, the phase plane diagrams of these results are graphed also to reveal the stability of the gyrostatic motion at any time. The attained results can be used to improve the dynamical behavior of several engineering applications, particularly those that employ the gyroscopic theory such as satellites, submarines, compasses, and automatic pilots on aircraft and ships.

In this paper, the modified simple equation method and the extended simplest equation method are applied to secure optical solitons and other solutions for Radhakrishnan-Kundu Lakshmanan equation. Bright solitons, dark solitons and singular solitons are obtained. Also, periodic solutions, singular periodic solutions, rational-type solutions and hyperbolic solutions are reported. Moreover, for the physical illustration, some of the obtained solutions are represented graphically.

In this article, we have updated the results obtained by Zhang et al. (2019) and derived some certain features of a famous dispersion water wave model, namely, generalized Broer-Kaup (BK) system. First, we have shown the integrability of the model. Then, a combination of Lie classical approach with polynomial type assumption is used to find its series solutions. Additionally, some soliton solutions are derived via tanh-expansion method and Kudryashov method. Also, local conservation laws of the governing model are constructed by Ibragimov method. The results of this study are novel and can be helpful in several scientific fields.

In particular, one of these results allows us to prove that the absolutely continuous spectrum of the isospectral problem associated with the two-component Camassa-Holm system in a certain dispersive regime is essentially supported on the set $(-\infty,-1/2]\cup [1/2,\infty)$., Comment: 27 pages

The current study deals with exact soliton solutions for Schrodinger-Hirota (SH) equation via two modified integration methods. Those methods are known as the improved ( G ′ / G ) -expansion method and the Kudryashov method. This model is a generalized version of the nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation with higher order dispersion and cubic nonlinearity. It can be considered as a more accurate approximation than the NLS equation in explaining wave propagation in the ocean and optical fibers. A novel derivative operator named as the conformable truncated M-fractional is used to study the above mentioned model. The obtained results can be used in describing the Schrodinger-Hirota equation in some better way. Moreover the obtained results are verified through symbolic computational software. Also, the obtained results show that the suggested approaches have broaden capacity to secure some new soliton type solutions for the fractional differential equations in an effective way. In the end, the results are also explained through their graphical representations.

This work investigates three nonlinear equations that describe waves on the oceans which are the Kadomtsev Petviashvili-modified equal width (KP-MEW) equation, the coupled Drinfel’d-Sokolov-Wilson (DSW) equation, and the Benjamin-Ono (BO) equation using the modified ( G ′ G 2 ) -expansion approach. The solutions of proposed equations by modified ( G ′ G 2 ) -expansion approach can be trigonometric, hyperbolic, or rational solutions. As a result, some new exact solutions are obtained and plotted.

The principal aim of this paper is to study the approximate solution of nonlinear Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon equation of fractional order by employing an analytical method. The Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon equation arises in plasma physics and laser optics. The Caputo derivative is applied to model the physical problem. By applying an effective semi-analytical technique, we attain the approximate solutions without linearization. The uniqueness and the convergence analysis for the applied method are shown. The graphical representation of solutions of fractional Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon equation demonstrates the applied technique is very efficient to obtain the solutions of such type of fractional order mathematical models.

The Rosenau–Korteweg-deVries–Kawahara equation describes the dynamics of dense discrete systems or small-amplitude gravity capillary waves on water of a finite depth. In this paper, we prove the well-posedness of the classical solutions for the Cauchy problem.

The purpose of this research is to study, investigate, and analyze a class of temporal time-FNEE models with time-FCDs that are indispensable in numerous nonlinear wave propagation phenomena. For this purpose, an efficient semi-analytical algorithm is developed and designed in view of the residual error terms for solving a class of fifth-order time-FCKdVEs. The analytical solutions of a dynamic wavefunction of the fractional Ito, Sawada-Kotera, Lax’s Korteweg-de Vries, Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon, and Kaup-Kupershmidt equations are provided in the form of a convergent conformable time-fractional series. The related consequences are discussed both theoretically as well as numerically considering the conformable sense. In this direction, convergence analysis and error estimates of the developed algorithm are studied and analyzed as well. Concerning the considered models, specific unidirectional physical experiments are given in a finite compact regime to confirm the theoretical aspects and to demonstrate the superiority of the novel algorithm compared to the other existing numerical methods. Moreover, some representative results are presented in two- and three-dimensional graphs, whilst dynamic behaviors of fractional parameters are reported for several α values. From the practical viewpoint, the archived simulations and consequences justify that the iterative algorithm is a straightforward and appropriate tool with computational efficiency for long-wavelength solutions of nonlinear time-FPDEs in physical phenomena.

In this paper, we study the twisted product manifolds with gradient Ricci–Yamabe solitons. Then, we classify and characterize the warped product and twisted product spaces with gradient Ricci–Yamabe solitons. We also study the construction of the model space of gradient Ricci–Yamabe solitons in the Riemannian product manifolds and the warped product manifolds. Finally, we study the geometric characterization of the conformally flat twisted product manifolds with gradient Ricci–Yamabe solitons.

In this article, we study and investigate the analytical solutions of the space-time nonlinear fractional modified KDV-Zakharov-Kuznetsov (mKDV-ZK) equation. We have got new exact solutions of the fractional mKDV-ZK equation by using first integral method; we found new types of hyperbolic solutions and trigonometric solutions by symbolic computation.

We propose a novel semi-discrete Kadomtsev--Petviashvili equation with two discrete and one continuous independent variables, which is integrable in the sense of having the standard and adjoint Lax pairs, from the direct linearisation framework. By performing reductions on the semi-discrete Kadomtsev--Petviashvili equation, new semi-discrete versions of the Drinfel'd--Sokolov hierarchies associated with Kac--Moody Lie algebras $A_r^{(1)}$, $A_{2r}^{(2)}$, $C_r^{(1)}$ and $D_{r+1}^{(2)}$ are successfully constructed. A Lax pair involving the fraction of $\mathbb{Z}_\mathcal{N}$ graded matrices is also found for each of the semi-discrete Drinfel'd--Sokolov equations. Furthermore, the direct linearisation construction guarantees the existence of exact solutions of all the semi-discrete equations discussed in the paper, providing another insight into their integrability in addition to the analysis of Lax pairs., 18 pages

In this paper, the complete discrimination system method is used to the fractional generalized Hirota–Satsuma-coupled KdV equations, which depicts the dispersive long wave widely applied in fluid mechanics. First, by the wave transformation, the fractional generalized Hirota–Satsuma-coupled KdV equation can be transformed into ordinary differential equations. Second, a series of new solutions are constructed by the discrimination system method of the fourth order polynomial, these solutions include kink solitary wave solutions, Jacobian elliptic function double periodic solutions, trigonometric function solution, solitary wave solutions, two-period solutions of elliptic function, and implicit solutions formula solutions. Finally, the comparison between our results and others’ works is also given.

The (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili and the modified KdV-Zakharov-Kuznetsov equations have a significant impact in modern science for their widespread applications in the theory of long-wave propagation, dynamics of shallow water wave, plasma fluid model, chemical kinematics, chemical engineering, geochemistry, and many other topics. In this article, we have assessed the effects of wave speed and physical parameters on the wave contours and confirmed that waveform changes with the variety of the free factors in it. As a result, wave solutions are extensively analyzed by using the balancing condition on the linear and nonlinear terms of the highest order and extracted different standard wave configurations, containing kink, breather soliton, bell-shaped soliton, and periodic waves. To extract the soliton solutions of the high-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations, a recently developed approach of the sine-Gordon expansion method is used to derive the wave solutions directly. The sine-Gordon expansion approach is a potent and strategic mathematical tool for instituting ample of new traveling wave solutions of nonlinear equations. This study established the efficiency of the described method in solving evolution equations which are nonlinear and with higher dimension (HNEEs). Closed-form solutions are carefully illustrated and discussed through diagrams.

Based on three-wave method, abundant nonautonomous solutions with different wave structures of a 3D variable-coefficient generalized shallow water wave equation are presented. In this situation the basic configurations (characteristic, amplitude, and speed) of the nonautonomous waves mutate with time due to the effect of nonlinearity and dispersion. Discussions indicate the interaction between lump wave and a pair of resonance stripe solitons solutions, the interaction between lump wave and periodic wave solutions, and the breather-type periodic soliton solutions. The dynamic properties of the obtained solutions are demonstrated and analyzed graphically for different choices of the arbitrary functions in these solutions.

In this paper, we investigate a damped variable-coefficient fifth-order modified Korteweg–de Vries equation for the small-amplitude surface waves in a strait or large channel of slowly-varying depth and width and non-vanishing vorticity, in which α 1 ( t ) , β ( t ) and γ ( t ) are the dispersive, dissipative and line-damping coefficients, respectively, where t is the temporal variable. Bilinear forms, bilinear Backlund transformation and multi-soliton solutions are constructed via the Hirota bilinear method under some variable-coefficient constraints. Based on those multi-soliton solutions, multi-pole, breather and hybrid solutions are derived. Effects of α 1 ( t ) , β ( t ) and γ ( t ) on the solutions are discussed analytically and graphically. For the solitons, we find that α 1 ( t ) and β ( t ) are related to the velocities and characteristic lines, and the amplitudes depend on γ ( t ) . For the multi-pole and breather solutions, α 1 ( t ) and β ( t ) influence the center trajectories of the solutions, while γ ( t ) influences the amplitudes. Hybrid solutions composed of the breathers and solitons are worked out and discussed graphically.

Starting from a 2 × 2 discrete matrix spectral problem, we construct an integrable lattice hierarchy associated with RTL + ( α ) system which is a one-parameter perturbation of the usual Toda lattice system describing the particle motion in a lattice. Based on the obtained RTL + ( α ) hierarchy, some integrable properties such as Hamiltonian structures, Liouville integrability and conservation laws are investigated. Furthermore, we establish the discrete N -fold Darboux transformation (DT) of RTL + ( α ) system. As applications of the obtained DT, multi-soliton solutions are derived on constant seed backgrounds, and discrete soliton propagation and elastic interaction structures are shown graphically and analyzed via asymptotic analysis. Numerical simulations are utilized to demonstrate the dynamical behaviors of such soliton solutions. Numerical results show that soliton evolutions are stable against a small noise. Results given in this paper might be helpful for understanding the propagation of nonlinear waves in soliton theory.

In this article, semi-analytical and numerical simulations of the well-known modified Benjamin–Bona–Mahony (mBBM) equation are processed. This study targets to check the accuracy of the obtained analytical solutions of the mBBM model that have been obtained in [1] through three recent analytical schemes (extended simplest equation (ESE) method, modified kudryashov (mKud) method, and Sech-Tanh (ST) expansion method). The considered model describes the propagation of long waves in the nonlinear dispersive media in a visual illusion. We consider the following nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equation of derivative type: \begin{equation} i \partial_t u + \partial_x^2 u +i |u|^{2} \partial_x u +b|u|^4u=0 , \quad (t,x) \in \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}, \ b \in \mathbb{R}. \end{equation} If $b=0$, this equation is a gauge equivalent form of well-known derivative nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger (DNLS) equation. The soliton profile of the DNLS equation satisfies a certain double power elliptic equation with cubic-quintic nonlinearities. The quintic nonlinearity in the equation only affects the coefficient in front of the quintic term in the elliptic equation, so the additional nonlinearity is natural as a perturbation preserving soliton profiles of the DNLS equation. If $b>-\frac{3}{16}$, the equation has algebraic solitons as well as exponentially decaying solitons. In this work, the improved modified extended tanh scheme is implemented to extract exact travelling wave solutions for perturbed nonlinear Schrodinger’s equation with Kudryashov’s law of refractive index and dual form of generalized nonlocal nonlinearity. Various types of solutions are extracted such as bright solitons, singular solitons, dark solitons, singular periodic wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, Jacobi elliptic functions, plane wave and hyperbolic wave solutions. Moreover, 3D and contour plots of some solutions are illustrated to show the physical nature of obtained solutions.

Introduction The Gross-Pitaevskii equation is a class of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation, whose exact solution, especially soliton solution, is proposed for understanding and studying Bose-Einstein condensate and some nonlinear phenomena occurring in the intersection field of Bose-Einstein condensate with some other fields. It is an important subject to investigate their exact solutions. Objectives We give multi-soliton of a two-dimensional Gross-Pitaevskii system which contains the time-varying trapping potential with a few interactions of multi-soliton. Through analytical and graphical analysis, we obtain one-, two- and three-soliton which are affected by the strength of atomic interaction. The asymptotic expression of two-soliton embodies the properties of solitons. We can give some interactions of solitons of different structures including parabolic soliton, line-soliton and dromion-like structure. Methods By constructing an appropriate Hirota bilinear form, the multi-soliton solution of the system is obtained. The soliton elastic interaction is analyzed via asymptotic analysis. Results The results in this paper theoretically provide the analytical bright soliton solution in the two-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensation model and their interesting interaction. To our best knowledge, the discussion and results in this work are new and important in different fields. The results enrich the existing nonlinear phenomena of the Gross-Pitaevskii model in Bose-Einstein condensation, and prove that the Hirota bilinear method and asymptotic analysis method are powerful and effective techniques in physical sciences and engineering for analyzing nonlinear mathematical-physical equations and their solutions. These provide a valuable basis and reference for the controllability of bright soliton phenomenon in experiments for high-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensation.

The Dubrovin–Zhang hierarchy is a Hamiltonian infinite-dimensional integrable system associated to a semi-simple cohomological field theory or, alternatively, to a semi-simple Dubrovin–Frobenius manifold. Under an extra assumption of homogeneity, Dubrovin and Zhang conjectured that there exists a second Poisson bracket that endows their hierarchy with a bi-Hamiltonian structure. More precisely, they gave a construction for the second bracket, but the polynomiality of its coefficients in the dispersion parameter expansion is yet to be proved. In this paper we use the bi-Hamiltonian recursion and a set of relations in the tautological rings of the moduli spaces of curves derived by Liu and Pandharipande in order to analyze the second Poisson bracket of Dubrovin and Zhang. We give a new proof of a theorem of Dubrovin and Zhang that the coefficients of the dispersion parameter expansion of the second bracket are rational functions with prescribed singularities. We also prove that all terms in the expansion of the second bracket in the dispersion parameter that cannot be realized by polynomials because they have negative degree do vanish, thus partly confirming the conjecture of Dubrovin and Zhang.

In this research, the (2 + 1)-dimensional (D) variable-coefficient (VC) Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon–Kotera–Sawada model used in soliton hypothesis and implemented by operating the Hirota bilinear scheme is studied. A few modern exact analytical outcomes containing interaction between a lump-two kink soliton, interaction between two-lump, the interaction between two-lump soliton, lump-periodic, and lump-three kink outcomes for the (2 + 1)-D VC Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon–Kotera–Sawada equation by Maple Symbolic packages are obtained. By employing Hirota’s bilinear technique, the extended soliton solutions according to bilinear frame equation are received. For this model, the contemplated model can be got by multi-D binary Bell polynomials (bBPs). In addition, the analytical analysis of the high-order soliton outcomes to present the discipline of outcomes. The effect of the free parameters on the behavior of acquired figures of a few obtained solutions for the nonlinear rational exact cases was also discussed. The above technique could also be employed to get exact solutions for other nonlinear models in physics, applied mathematics, and engineering.

In this paper, we are mainly concerned with the existence of infinitely many high energy solitary waves solutions for a class of generalized Kadomtsev Petviashvili equation (KP equation) in bounded domain. The aim of this paper is to fill the gap in the relevant literature stated in a previous paper ( Xu, J., Wei, Z., Ding, Y.: Stationary solutions for a generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation in bounded domain. Electronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations. (2012)(68), 1-18 (2012)). Under more relaxed assumption on the nonlinearity involved in KP equation, we obtain a new result on the existence of infinitely many high energy solitary waves solutions via a variant fountain theorems.

In this letter, we consider a new two-component system. By its reciprocal relation with the first negative flow in the AKNS hierarchy, we construct three Darboux-Bäcklund transformations for the new system and obtain some soliton-like solutions.

In the first part of this work we study the local well-posedness of dispersive equations in the weighted spaces $H^s(\mathbb{R})\cap L^2(|x|^{2b}dx)$. We then apply our results for several dispersive models such as the Hirota-Satsuma system, the OST equation, the Kawahara equation and a fifth-order model. Using these local results, the second part of this work is devoted to obtain results related to dispersive blow up of the Kawahara equation and the Hirota-Satsuma system.
