Purpose: The purpose of this study is to systematically dissect strategies against the challenges stalling digital transformation (DT) in the UK higher education (HE) sector. It addresses the challenges impeding DT's incorporation and offers a blueprint for fostering innovation and efficiency within academic institutions. Design/methodology/approach: Using a systematic literature review, the research integrates a nuanced literature review with interpretive structural modelling (ISM). Through meticulous ISM analysis, including sensitivity analysis and level partitioning, a robust framework is developed to pinpoint and interrelate DT challenges. Findings: This investigation delineates a spectrum of impediments to DT in HE, most notably the need for more digital understanding among educators, intensified by inadequate support and resources. The findings reveal that the effective integration of DT is hindered by factors such as insufficient educator digital skills, resistance to technology and the continuous evolution of digital infrastructure. Practical implications: The study's findings and the developed level partitioning diagram offer invaluable insight into how DT must be integrated into the curriculum to enhance HE. Additionally, it could further lead to research within digital infrastructure and how learning needs to be facilitated for students in HE. Originality/value: This study breaks new ground by systematically illuminating the centrality of the educator skill gap. By contributing insights into the educator skill gap, it proposes a unique analytical model that underscores actionable pathways for advancing DT initiatives in HE institutions.

While strict vertical transmission insures the durability of intracellular symbioses, phylogenetic incongruences between hosts and endosymbionts suggest horizontal transmission must also occur. These horizontal acquisitions can have important implications for the biology of the host. Wolbachia is one of the most ecologically successful prokaryotes in arthropods, infecting an estimated 50-70% of all insect species. Much of this success is likely due to the fact that, in arthropods, Wolbachia is notorious for manipulating host reproduction to favor transmission through the female germline. However, its natural potential for horizontal transmission remains poorly understood. Here we evaluate the fundamental prerequisites for successful horizontal transfer, including necessary environmental conditions, genetic potential of bacterial strains, and means of mediating transfers. Furthermore, we revisit the relatedness of Wolbachia strains infecting the Panamanian leaf-cutting ant, Acromyrmex echinatior, and its inquiline social parasite, Acromyrmex insinuator, and compare our results to a study published more than 15 years ago by Van Borm et al. (2003). The results of this pilot study prompt us to reevaluate previous notions that obligate social parasitism reliably facilitates horizontal transfer and suggest that not all Wolbachia strains associated with ants have the same genetic potential for horizontal transmission.

Sexuality education is one of the most disputable health education programs as far as its inclusion in Early Childhood Education is concerned. This study was conducted in order to investigate early childhood future educators' attitudes and considerations about introducing sexuality education to their future pupils. We used a qualitative research method: semi-structured interviews for two groups of students in the Department of Educational Studies in Early Childhood, University of Northern Greece. The results revealed that the students who had chosen and successfully completed a course about early childhood sexuality education were the ones who indicated the subject as one of the basic ones to be taught in the kindergarten. Furthermore, they expressed their considerations about Greek bibliography's lag in this field. Finally, they exhibited more readiness to introduce sexuality education to their future pupils than the rest of the students did. Students who had not attended a relative course referred to developmentally inappropriate subject areas, showing their inability or even riskiness to introduce sexuality to their pupils. The results suggested the students' need for relevant theoretical as well as practical education.

It is often argued that the rise of psychological sciences has offered a new way of constructing subjectivity. Although this framework was used by institutions for regulatory and administrative purposes, soon it became part of common sense and psychological language and notions began to constitute an interpretative resource for social actors. Researchers argue that often discourses of psychologization have been used both by theorists and lay people to account for intergroup conflict, relegating intergroup processes to interpersonal or intrapersonal issues. In this paper, we examine how parents mobilize psychological notions to account for the behavior of children of immigrants within Greek schools. It is argued that psychological discourse was often used to frame "problematic" behavior as the result of interpersonal or intrapersonal processes. These constructions allowed participants to account for the children of immigrants' behaviour avoiding accusations of prejudice, while at the same time the role of the Greek dominant group (both as a school institution and as the majority of the school population) in shaping intergroup relations within schools was omitted.

The etiology of anterior knee pain after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) remains unclear. Few studies have examined patellar fixation quality. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the patellar cement-bone interface after TKA on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and to correlate the patella fixation grade with the incidence of anterior knee pain. We retrospectively reviewed 279 knees undergoing metal artifact reduction MRI for either anterior or generalized knee pain at least 6 months after cemented, posterior-stabilized TKA with patellar resurfacing with one implant manufacturer. MRI cement-bone interfaces and percent-integration of the patella, femur, and tibia were assessed by a fellowship-trained senior musculoskeletal radiologist. The grade and character of the patella interface were compared to the femur and tibia. Regression analyses were used to determine the association between patella integration with anterior knee pain. There were more patellar components with ≥75% zones of fibrous tissue (50%) compared to the femur (18%) or tibia (5%) (P <.001). There were a greater number of patellar implants with poor cement integration (18%) compared to the femur (1%) or tibia (1%) (P <.001). MRI findings showed more evidence of patellar component loosening (8%) compared to the femur (1%) or tibia (1%) (P <.001). Anterior knee pain was correlated with worse patella cement integration (P =.01), with women predicted to have better integration (P <.001). The quality of the patellar cement-bone interface after TKA is worse compared to the femoral or tibial component interface. Knee instability is a leading cause of dissatisfaction following total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Instability can involve abnormal laxity in multiple directions including varus-valgus (VV) angulation, anterior-posterior (AP) translation, and internal-external rotation (IER). No existing arthrometer objectively quantifies knee laxity in all three of these directions. The study objectives were to verify the safety and assess reliability of a novel multiplanar arthrometer. The arthrometer utilized a five degree-of-freedom instrumented linkage. Two examiners each conducted two tests on the leg that had received a TKA of 20 patients (mean age 65 years (range, 53-75); 9 men, 11 women), with nine and eleven distinct patients tested at 3-month and 1-year postoperative time points, respectively. AP forces from −10 to 30 Newtons, VV moments of ±3 Newton-meters, and IER moments of ±2.5 Newton-meters were applied to each subject's replaced knee. Severity and location of knee pain during testing were assessed using a visual analog scale. Intraexaminer and interexaminer reliabilities were characterized using intraclass correlation coefficients. All subjects successfully completed testing. Pain during testing averaged 0.7 (out of possible 10; range, 0-2.5). Intraexaminer reliability was >0.77 for all loading directions and examiners. Interexaminer reliability and 95% confidence intervals were 0.85 (0.66-0.94), 0.67 (0.35-0.85), and 0.54 (0.16-0.79) in the VV, IER, and AP directions, respectively. The novel arthrometer was safe for evaluating AP, VV, and IER laxities in subjects who had received TKA. Summary Background Although perforator-to-perforator anastomosis in supermicrosurgery may be used in transferring free flaps with small vessels, it is still difficult in certain situations that include potentially infected wounds. Moreover, it is limited to smaller flaps. Anastomosis of large vessels is still safer for transfer of a large flap for most surgeons. The harvesting of a patch of the parent artery together with the perforator supplying the flap allows the surgeon to perform an anastomosis between the vessel ends of larger caliber, and possibly with greater anastomotic success. Method When the vascular pedicle of a free flap is < 0.8 mm, an option is to take a cuff of the major artery for an end-to-patch anastomosis. From 1983 to 2013, this method was applied to the anteromedial thigh (AMT) flap (seven cases), the groin flap (81 cases), and the free Becker's flap (five cases). When a patch was taken from the femoral artery, direct anastomosis for the major artery was performed using 5/0 Prolene sutures, followed by coverage with local soft tissue. When a patch was taken from the ulnar artery, a patch of vein graft was used for repair of the ulnar artery. In one case, a segment of the femoral artery was harvested with an AMT flap and a segment of a sartorius muscle flap; the compound tissue was transferred to the neck with the femoral artery to replace the left carotid artery. In the donor site, the defect of the femoral artery was reconstructed with an artificial graft. Results The flaps had no failure or partial necrosis, but one patient developed bleeding from the femoral artery 2 days postoperatively. It was treated by adding one more suture for the femoral artery and coverage with the sartorius muscle. In the ulnar artery, the patients did not complain of cold intolerance and the postoperative angiogram showed good patency of the ulnar artery after an average follow-up of 1 year. Conclusion For the majority of plastic surgeons, this method provides a reliable and comfortable anastomosis when transferring a flap with small vessels. Background: Pain catastrophizing, anxiety, and depression are associated with poor outcomes after total hip (THA) and total knee (TKA) arthroplasty. The goal of this study is to determine the relationship between post-operative pain scores and opioid consumption; and the association among pre-operative measures of anxiety, depression, and pain catastrophizing and post-operative opioid consumption in patients undergoing THA and TKA.Methods: This is a single-institution prospective cohort study of 243 opioid-naïve patients undergoing elective, primary THA (n = 123) or TKA (n = 120) for osteoarthritis. Pre-operatively, patients completed the PROMIS-29 (Patient-Reported Outcomes Measures Information System; physical function/anxiety/depression/fatigue/sleep disturbance/social activities/pain interference/pain intensity) and Pain Catastrophizing Scale. Post-operatively, patients completed a weekly survey for 12 weeks determining morphine-milligram-equivalent (MME) opioid consumption, opioid cessation, and visual analog scale pain scores. Multivariable regression models determined the association between pre-operative scores and post-operative opioid consumption.Results: Mean (±standard deviation) total opioid consumption and duration was 75.1 ± 112.0 MME and 1.7 ± 1.7 weeks in THA and 384.7 ± 473.3 MME and 4.3 ± 3.5 weeks in TKA. Visual analog scale pain scores (0-100) after opioid cessation were 28.0 ± 22.9 in THA and 30.7 ± 25.8 in TKA. Multivariable regression showed that each unit increase in PROMIS-29 fatigue T-score was associated with 8.4 hours longer opioid usage in THA (P = .008) and 15.1 hours longer in TKA (P = .036), as well as 12.7 MME additional opioids in TKA (P = .027). There were no significant associations with other PROMIS-29 domains or the Pain Catastrophizing Scale.Conclusion: Opioid use duration is different for THA and TKA and may correlate with pain scores. Only pre-operative fatigue was associated with post-operative opioid consumption. These findings should inform THA and TKA post-operative pain management pathways. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Diagnostic imaging is mandatory for the assessment of osseous defects in the jaws. Traditional imaging has offered much over the decades in the evaluation of these defects but is limited because of its 2D nature. The introduction of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), a 3D radiographic technique with interactivity, high resolution, and high accuracy, has provided solutions in the evaluation of such lesions The purpose of this in vitro investigation was to evaluate the accuracy of representation of experimental surgical defects with CBCT using different exposure parameters. Moreover, the study aims to assess the effect of different exposure protocols on the accuracy of representation of experimental surgical defects. Surgical defects were prepared in 8 pig jaw mandibular segments. The thickness of the cortical bone around the defects was measured in predetermined areas using the measurement tools of the CBCT software. In total, 48 locations were measured for bone thickness. The pig jaw specimens were imaged with 6 different exposure protocols created by altering voxel size, kilovoltage peak, and milliamperage. The measurements were made by 2 experienced examiners using the original scanner software. The evaluation of the surgical defects was completed in 4 rating sessions; a fifth rating session was included for intraobserver reliability assessment. There were statistically significant differences in the estimation of cortical bone thickness around experimental surgical defects in certain sites among the variable exposure protocols; however, the differences were too small to be clinically important. The intra- and interobserver reliability values were very high, confirming the diagnostic value of CBCT in different exposure settings. The accuracy of lineal cortical bone measurements with CBCT was high, even in lower dose protocols, a finding that is in line with the ALADA (as low as diagnostically acceptable) concept. Goal-directed behavior requires the effective suppression of distractions to focus on the task at hand. Although experimental evidence suggests that brain areas in the prefrontal and parietal lobe contribute to the selection of task-relevant and the suppression of task-irrelevant stimuli, how conspicuous distractors are encoded and effectively ignored remains poorly understood. We recorded neuronal responses from 2 regions in the prefrontal and parietal cortex of macaques, the frontal eye field (FEF) and the lateral intraparietal (LIP) area, during a visual search task, in the presence and absence of a salient distractor. We found that in both areas, salient distractors are encoded by both response enhancement and suppression by distinct neuronal populations. In FEF, a larger proportion of units displayed suppression of responses to the salient distractor compared to LIP, with suppression effects in FEF being correlated with search time. Moreover, in FEF but not in LIP, the suppression for the salient distractor compared to non-salient distractors that shared the target color could not be accounted for by an enhancement of target features. These results reveal a distinct contribution of FEF in the suppression of salient distractors. The mutualistic interaction specificity between attine ants and antibiotic-producing Actinobacteria has been controversial because Pseudonocardia strains cannot always be isolated from worker cuticles across attine ant species, while other actinobacteria can apparently replace Pseudonocardia and also inhibit growth of Escovopsis mycopathogens. Here we report that across field samples of Panamanian species: (i) Cuticular Pseudonocardia were largely restricted to species in the crown of the attine phylogeny and their appearance likely coincided with the first attines colonizing Central/North America. (ii) The phylogenetically basal attines almost always had cuticular associations with other Actinobacteria than Pseudonocardia . (iii) The sub-cuticular glands nourishing cuticular bacteria appear to be homologous throughout the phylogeny, consistent with an ancient general attine-Actinobacteria association. (iv) The basal attine species investigated always had Pseudonocardia as gut symbionts while Pseudonocardia presence appeared mutually exclusive between cuticular and gut microbiomes. (v) Gut-associated Pseudonocardia were phylogenetically ancestral while cuticular symbionts formed a derived crown group within the Pseudonocardia phylogeny. We further show that laboratory colonies often secondarily acquire cuticular Actinobacteria that they do not associate with in the field, suggesting that many previous studies were uninformative for questions of co-adaptation in the wild. An exhaustive literature survey showed that published studies concur with our present results, provided that they analyzed field colonies and that Actinobacteria were specifically isolated from worker cuticles shortly after field collection. We describe and discuss the intestinal mycobiota of dairy cows reared in France following variations in dietary regimes and two seasons. Two groups of 21 animals were followed over a summer and winter period, and another group of 28 animals was followed only during the same summer season. The summer diet was based on grazing supplemented with 3-5 kg/d of maize, grass silage and hay, while the winter diet consisted of 30% maize silage, 25% grass silage, 15% hay and 30% concentrate. A total of 69 DNA samples were extracted from the feces of these cows. Amplification and sequencing of the ITS2 region were used to assess mycobiota diversity. Analyses of alpha and beta diversity were performed and compared statistically. The mycobiota changed significantly from summer to winter conditions with a decrease in its diversity, richness and evenness parameters, while beta diversity analysis showed different mycobiota profiles. Of note, the Geotrichum operational taxonomic unit (OTU) was prevalent in the winter group, with a mean relative abundance (RA) of 65% of the total mycobiota. This Geotrichum OTU was also found in the summer group, but to a lesser extent (5%). In conclusion, a summer grazing diet allowed a higher fecal fungal diversity. These data show, for the first time, that a change in diet associated with seasonality plays a central role in shaping hindgut fungal diversity.

Purpose: To re-examine the changes with time in the underlying patterns of individual refraction at different ages, which have led to an increased prevalence of myopia in a population of Asian children., Methods: Using published cross-sectional longitudinal data, the frequency distributions of spherical equivalent refractive error (SE) in yearly cohorts of 6- and 12-year-old Japanese children during the period 1984-1996 were modelled in terms of ex- and bi-Gaussian distributions., Results: Both models suggested that over the period of the study, little change occurred in the SE frequency distributions for 6-year-olds, with most children having SEs near emmetropia. In contrast, in each annual cohort of 12-year-olds, although the SE of some children remained near-emmetropic, a sub-set failed to maintain emmetropia. Most of this group became more myopic between 6 and 12 years of age. The proportion of children showing myopic progression increased over the period of study., Conclusions: The observed increase in mean levels of myopia in older Japanese children in the late 20th century is due to a greater proportion of children failing to maintain emmetropisation between the ages of 6 and 12, rather than to myopic shifts in all children. Introduction: Calves are highly susceptible to gastrointestinal infection with Cryptosporidium parvum ( C. parvum ), which can result in watery diarrhea and eventually death or impaired development. With little to no effective therapeutics, understanding the host's microbiota and pathogen interaction at the mucosal immune system has been critical to identify and test novel control strategies., Methods: Herein, we used an experimental model of C. parvum challenge in neonatal calves to describe the clinical signs and histological and proteomic profiling of the mucosal innate immunity and microbiota shifts by metagenomics in the ileum and colon during cryptosporidiosis. Also, we investigated the impact of supplemental colostrum feeding on C. parvum infection., Results: We showed that C. parvum challenged calves experienced clinical signs including pyrexia and diarrhea 5 days post challenge. These calves showed ulcerative neutrophil ileitis with a proteomic signature driven by inflammatory effectors, including reactive oxygen species and myeloperoxidases. Colitis was also noticed with an aggravated mucin barrier depletion and incompletely filled goblet cells. The C. parvum challenged calves also displayed a pronounced dysbiosis with a high prevalence of Clostridium species (spp.) and number of exotoxins, adherence factors, and secretion systems related to Clostridium spp. and other enteropathogens, including Campylobacter spp., Escherichia sp., Shigella spp., and Listeria spp. Daily supplementation with a high-quality bovine colostrum product mitigated some of the clinical signs and modulated the gut immune response and concomitant microbiota to a pattern more similar to that of healthy unchallenged calves., Discussion: C. parvum infection in neonatal calves provoked severe diarrheic neutrophilic enterocolitis, perhaps augmented due to the lack of fully developed innate gut defenses. Antigen 43 (Ag43) expression induces aggregation and biofilm formation that has consequences for bacterial colonisation and infection. Ag43 is secreted through the Type 5 subtype "a" secretion system (T5aSS) and is a prototypical member of the family of self-associating autotransporters (SAATs). As a T5aSS protein, Ag43 has a modular architecture comprised of (i) a signal peptide, (ii) a passenger domain that can be subdivided into three subdomains (SL, EJ, and BL), (iii) an autochaperone (AC) domain, and (iv) an outer membrane translocator. The cell-surface SL subdomain is directly involved in the "Velcro-handshake" mechanism resulting in bacterial autoaggregation. Ag43 is considered to have a ubiquitous distribution in E. coli genomes and many strains harbour multiple agn43 genes. However, recent phylogenetic analyses indicated the existence of four distinct Ag43 classes exhibiting different propensities for autoaggregation and interactions. Given the knowledge of the diversity and distribution of Ag43 in E. coli genomes is incomplete, we have performed a thorough in silico investigation across bacterial genomes. Our comprehensive analyses indicate that Ag43 passenger domains cluster in six phylogenetic classes associated with different SL subdomains. The diversity of Ag43 passenger domains is a result of the association of the SL subtypes with two different EJ-BL-AC modules. We reveal that agn43 is almost exclusively present among bacterial species of the Enterobacteriaceae family and essentially in the Escherichia genus (99.6%) but that it is not ubiquitous in E. coli . The gene is typically present as a single copy but up to five copies of agn43 with different combinations of classes can be observed. The presence of agn43 as well as its different classes appeared to differ between Escherichia phylogroups. Strikingly, agn43 is present in 90% of E. coli from E phylogroup. Our results shed light on Ag43 diversity and provide a rational framework for investigating its role in E. coli ecophysiology and physiopathology.

A large body of recent work suggests that neural representations in prefrontal cortex (PFC) are changing over time to adapt to task demands. However, it remains unclear whether and how such dynamic coding schemes depend on the encoded variable and are influenced by anatomical constraints. Using a cued attention task and multivariate classification methods, we show that neuronal ensembles in PFC encode and retain in working memory spatial and color attentional instructions in an anatomically specific manner. Spatial instructions could be decoded both from the frontal eye field (FEF) and the ventrolateral PFC (vlPFC) population, albeit more robustly from FEF, whereas color instructions were decoded more robustly from vlPFC. Decoding spatial and color information from vlPFC activity in the high-dimensional state space indicated stronger dynamics for color, across the cue presentation and memory periods. The change in the color code was largely due to rapid changes in the network state during the transition to the delay period. However, we found that dynamic vlPFC activity contained time-invariant color information within a low-dimensional subspace of neural activity that allowed for stable decoding of color across time. Furthermore, spatial attention influenced decoding of stimuli features profoundly in vlPFC, but less so in visual area V4. Overall, our results suggest that dynamic population coding of attentional instructions within PFC is shaped by anatomical constraints and can coexist with stable subspace coding that allows time-invariant decoding of information about the future target.

Rhizobiales are well-known plant-root nitrogen-fixing symbionts, but the functions of insect-associated Rhizobiales are poorly understood. We obtained genomes of three strains associated with Acromyrmex leaf-cutting ants and show that, in spite of being extracellular gut symbionts, they lost all pathways for essential amino acid biosynthesis, making them fully dependent on their hosts. Comparison with 54 Rhizobiales genomes showed that all insect-associated Rhizobiales lost the ability to fix nitrogen and that the Acromyrmex symbionts had exceptionally also lost the urease genes. However, the Acromyrmex strains share biosynthesis pathways for riboflavin vitamin, queuosine and a wide range of antioxidant enzymes likely to be beneficial for the ant fungus-farming symbiosis. We infer that the Rhizobiales symbionts catabolize excess of fungus-garden-derived arginine to urea, supplementing complementary Mollicutes symbionts that turn arginine into ammonia and infer that these combined symbiont activities stabilize the fungus-farming mutualism. Similar to the Mollicutes symbionts, the Rhizobiales species have fully functional CRISPR/Cas and R-M phage defenses, suggesting that these symbionts are important enough for the ant hosts to have precluded the evolution of metabolically cheaper defenseless strains., (© The Author(s) 2022. Cattle are carriers, without clinical manifestations, of enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli (EHEC) O157:H7 responsible for life-threatening infections in humans. A better identification of factors playing a role in maintaining persistence of such strains in cattle is required to develop more effective control measures. Hence, we conducted a study to identify farms with a persistent circulation of EHEC O157:H7. The EHEC O157:H7 herd status of 13 farms, which had previously provided bovine EHEC O157:H7 carriers at slaughter was investigated. Two farms were still housing positive young bulls, and this was true over a 1-year period. Only one fecal sample could be considered from a supershedder, and 60% of the carriers shed concentrations below 10 MPN/g. Moreover, EHEC O157:H7 represented minor subpopulations of E. coli . PFGE analysis of the EHEC O157:H7 strains showed that persistent circulation was due either to the persistence of a few predominant strains or to the repeated exposure of cattle to various strains. Finally, we compared fecal microbial communities of shedders (S) ( n = 24) and non-shedders (NS) ( n = 28), including 43 young bulls and nine cows, from one farm. Regarding alpha diversity, no significant difference between S vs . NS young bulls ( n = 43) was observed. At the genus level, we identified 10 amplicon sequence variant (ASV) indicators of the S or NS groups. The bacterial indicators of S belonged to the family XIII UCG-001, Slackia , and Campylobacter genera, and Ruminococcaceae NK4A21A, Lachnospiraceae -UGC-010, and Lachnospiraceae -GCA-900066575 groups. The NS group indicator ASVs were affiliated to Pirellulaceae -1088-a5 gut group, Anaerovibrio, Victivallis , and Sellimonas genera. For approximately 10,000 years, cattle have been our major source of meat and dairy. However, cattle are also a major reservoir for dangerous foodborne pathogens that belong to the Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) group. Even though STEC infections in humans are rare, they are often lethal, as treatment options are limited. In cattle, STEC infections are typically asymptomatic and STEC is able to survive and persist in the cattle GIT by escaping the immune defenses of the host. Interactions with members of the native gut microbiota can favor or inhibit its persistence in cattle, but research in this direction is still in its infancy. Diet, temperature and season but also industrialized animal husbandry practices have a profound effect on STEC prevalence and the native gut microbiota composition. Thus, exploring the native cattle gut microbiota in depth, its interactions with STEC and the factors that affect them could offer viable solutions against STEC carriage in cattle.

Social insects owe their ecological success to the division of labour between castes, but associations between microbial community compositions and castes with different tasks and diets have not been extensively explored. Fungus-growing termites associate with fungi to degrade plant material, complemented by diverse gut microbial communities. Here, we explore whether division of labour and accompanying dietary differences between fungus-growing termite castes are linked to gut bacterial community structure. Using amplicon sequencing, we characterize community compositions in sterile (worker and soldier) and reproductive (queen and king) termites and combine this with gut enzyme activities and microscopy to hypothesise sterile caste-specific microbiota roles. Gut bacterial communities are structured primarily according to termite caste and genus and, in contrast to the observed rich and diverse sterile caste microbiotas, royal pair guts are dominated by few bacterial taxa, potentially reflecting their specialized uniform diet and unique lifestyle., (© 2018 The Authors.
