Abstract

This paper provides a contrastive study of Japanese complex case particles and Chinese complex prepositions, particularly focusing on the difference between ni kansite and ni tsuite of Japanese, and guan yu and dui yu of Chinese. Japanese postpositional phrases are more flexible in terms of syntactic structure. In contrast, Chinese prepositional phrases are placed between the subject and the verb. When a prepositional phrase is placed before the subject, a pause must be placed after the prepositional phrase. When taking a clause as a topic, Japanese simply uses the topic particle wa after a postpositional phrase, whereas Chinese uses an adnominal clause and a noun. The selection of complex prepositions is determined by the semantic relationships between the noun and the main predicate verb.

31. Stabilizing orthorhombic CsSnI3 perovskites with optimized electronic properties by surface ligands with inter-molecular hydrogen bond.

Abstract

Currently, the exploration of green tin halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) based on orthorhombic (γ-) CsSnI3 is fundamentally hindered by its intrinsic bad stability. Herein, based on the first principles calculation, three surface-ligand-passivated configurations having inter-molecular hydrogen bonds are rationally designed and investigated for stabilizing γ-CsSnI3. It is discovered that the inter-molecular hydrogen bond could suppress the distortions of both ligands and the octahedral of perovskites, thus favoring improvement in the stability of γ-CsSnI3, which is closely related to bond strength. Moreover, the existing inter-molecular hydrogen bond could limit the localization of charge density, which helps promote electron transition and mobility with optimized carrier effective masses, thus favoring an enhanced performance of γ-CsSnI3 PSCs. The present work might give some insight on pushing forward the strategy of surface ligand passivation for engineering stabilized γ-CsSnI3 PSCs with high efficiency. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

34. Precursor engineering for high-quality Cs2AgBiBr6 films toward efficient lead-free double perovskite solar cells.

Abstract

Recently, lead-free double perovskites of Cs2AgBiBr6 have attracted worldwide attention as a promising candidate for eco-friendly photovoltaics because of their intrinsic environmental stability and highly desired low toxicity in comparison with conventional lead halide counterparts. However, their power conversion efficiency (PCE) is still far lower than that of lead halide perovskites, which is mainly associated with their poor quality films. Herein, we report a facile process via precursor engineering based on the BiBr3(DMSO)2 adduct solution to produce high-coverage and smooth Cs2AgBiBr6 films with large grains. As a result, the as-constructed planar solar cells deliver a champion PCE of 0.73%, which exhibits an enhancement of over 40% in PCE compared to that of the control sample, suggesting their potential to be applied in lead-free bismuth-based optoelectronic devices. Abstract

Quasi‐2D CsPbI3 perovskites have emerged as excellent candidates for advanced photovoltaic technologies due to their fundamentally enhanced stability than conventional 3D counterparts. However, the applications of quasi‐2D perovskites are plagued with their poor out‐of‐plane carrier mobility induced by the intercalated insulating organic layers. In this work, a new strategy is explored to significantly enhance the out‐of‐plane charge transport in quasi‐2D Dion–Jacobson (DJ) CsPbI3 perovskites via leveraging the intercalation of aromatic diamine cations (p‐phenylenediamine, PPDA) with unique π‐conjugated bond based on the first‐principles calculations. The strong interactions between PPDA2+ cations and inorganic Pb‐I framework (i.e., I–I interaction, p‐π coupling, and H‐bonds) provide three carrier pathways to facilitate the out‐of‐plane charge transport. Furthermore, the restricted in‐plane and out‐of‐plane structural distortion induced by the π‐conjugated bond could improve the electronic coupling and charge mobility along the out‐of‐plane direction with reduced bandgaps. As a proof of concept, the calculated average photovoltaic conversion efficiency of such engineered DJ CsPbI3 perovskite solar cells is ≈17%, which is very close to the certificated champion efficiency of 3D α‐CsPbI3, underscoring their potential for solar cell applications. Abstract

In perovskite solar cells (PSCs), a defective perovskite (PVK) surface and cliff‐like energy offset at the interface always slow down the charge extraction; meanwhile, interface ion diffusion causes oxidation of the metal electrode, inducing device instability. Here, the in situ grown 2D‐(CH3NH2)3Sb2I9 (MA3Sb2I9) on the back surface of MAPbI3 results in a more robust interface. MA3Sb2I9 changes the MAPbI3 surface to p‐type and thus acts like a back surface field to drive charge extraction and suppress recombination, resulting in an obviously higher fill factor (FF) = 0.8 and power conversion efficiency (PCE) = 20.4% of SnO2/MAPbI3/MA3Sb2I9/Spiro‐OMeTAD (2,2′,7,7′‐Tetrakis[N,N‐di(4‐methoxyphenyl)amino]‐9,9′‐spirobifluorene) PSC than the pure MAPbI3 device. More importantly, strong chemical bonding of SbI prohibits ion diffusion, largely enhancing the thermal stability and longtime stability. Here, special 2D‐MA3Sb2I9 constructs' robust band alignment and chemical environment at the interface are highlighted for efficient and stable PSCs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
