The monotone iterative technique, theory of fixed point index in a cone and the Leggett-Williams fixed point theorem are applied to investigate the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for four boundary value problems of nonlinear fractional differential equations with a p-Laplacian point operator and infinite delay. Moreover, examples are presented to illustrate a vast applicability of our main results.

In this paper, by using the Schauder fixed point theorem, we obtain the existence of positive solutions for discrete fractional boundary value problem. Also, we establish upper and lower solution for this problem. Our results extend some recent works in the literature.

This paper presents an efficient method for the computation of two highly oscillatory integrals having logarithmic and Cauchy-logarithmic singularities. This approach first requires the transformation of the original oscillatory integrals into a sum of line integrals with semi-infinite intervals. Afterwards, the coefficients of the three-term recurrence relation that satisfy the orthog-onal polynomial are obtained by using the method based on moments, where classical Laguerre and Gautschi's logarithmic weight functions are employed. The algorithm reveals that with fixed n, the method is capable of achieving significant figures within a short time. Furthermore, the approach yields higher accuracy as the frequency increases. The results of numerical experiments are given to substantiate our theoretical analysis.

Bu tez çalışmasında q-fark operatörü içeren sınır değer problemlerinin pozitif çözümlerinin varlığı üzerine koşulların incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle konunun tarihsel gelişimi anlatılmış, q-fark türev ve integral kavramlarının daha iyi anlaşılması için gerekli tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Giriş bölümü dışında üç ana bölümden oluşan tezin bu bölümlerinde farklı yapıda sınır değer problemleri ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, Riemann-Liouville tipindeki kesirli q-türeve sahip integral sınır koşullu bir kesirli q-fark sınır değer problemi ele alınarak bu problemin çözümlerinin varlığı sabit nokta teoremleri ve alt-üst çözüm tekliği kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, yarı açık aralıkta tanımlı bir kesirli q-fark sınır değer problemi ele alınarak, öncelikle problemin Green fonksiyonu bulunarak bu fonksiyonun özellikleri incelenmiş ve ardından en az bir pozitif çözümün varlığı Schauder sabit nokta teoreminin bir sonucu olarak sunulmuştur. For this purpose, first of all, the historical development of the subject is explained, and the necessary definitions and theorems are given for a better understanding of the concepts of q-difference derivative and integral. In these parts of the thesis, which consists of three main parts, apart from the introduction part, boundary value problems with different structures are discussed. In the third chapter, a fractional q-difference boundary value problem with integral boundary condition with fractional q-derivative of Riemann-Liouville type is handled and the existence of solutions of this problem is investigated using fixed point theorems and lower-upper solution uniqueness. In the fourth chapter, a fractional q-difference boundary value problem defined in a semi-open interval is handled, first the Green's function of the problem is found, the properties of this function are examined, and then the existence of at least one positive solution is presented as a result of the Schauder fixed point theorem. In the fifth and at the same time in the last chapter, firstly, a problem with integral boundary condition is examined and in the light of the results of this problem, another problem with p-laplacian operator is handled and results on the existence of its solutions are obtained.

Bu tezin arkasındaki motivasyon, geniş bir doğrusal olmayan kesirli diferansiyel denklemler yelpazesi için hem tek hem de çok sayıda pozitif çözümün varlığının araştırılmasıdır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada, sonlu gecikmeli lineer olmayan kesirli diferansiyel denklemlerin integral sınır değer problemlerini ele alıyoruz. Problemlerin pozitif çözümlerinin varlık sonuçları Guo-Krasnoselskii teoremi ve Leggett-Williams sabit nokta teoremi temelinde elde edilir. Ek olarak, doğrusal olmayan kesirli diferansiyel denklemlerin başka bir varyasyonunun integral sınır değeri problemlerini ele alıyoruz. Problemin pozitif çözümlerinin varlık sonuçları Guo-Krasnoselskii teoremine dayalı olarak elde edilir. In the second chapter, firstly basic definitions and theorems of time scale calculus are stated. Later, some basic definitions and theorems and fixed point theorems which will be used in the other chapters are expressed. In the third chapter, the existence of positive solutions for the singular semipositone systems of second order m-point boundary value problems on time scales have been proved, by using Fixed Point Index Theorem. It is emphasized that the nonlinear term need not to be positive and allowed to be singular. In the fourth chapter, we obtain the sufficient conditions that guarantee the existence of positive solutions for second order nonlinear dynamic systems by means of Schauder Fixed Point Theorem. In the fifth chapter, the existence and uniqueness of solutions for dynamic systems on an infinite time scale is proved via lower and upper solutions. Moreover, the results obtained in the all chapters have been confirmed by examples.
