Abstract

In order to effectively reduce and retard corrosion of the power transmission and transformation equipment in Chengdu power grid and to improve power supply reliability, Q235 carbon steel material which is the most widely used metal material in power grid was selected as the targeted research object in this article. Exposure experiments were performed in urban atmospheric environment of Chengdu city in the southwest region of China. The corrosion behavior of Q235 carbon steel material was investigated at different seasons. The macro- and micromorphologies after corrosion were observed using a digital camera and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. Element distribution of the rust layer and the corrosion products was characterized by energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR); the corrosion mechanism was also briefly analyzed.

6. NiSx nanoparticles with S/N-doped carbon layer as advanced anode for Li/Na storage.

Abstract

Although NiSx has a high storage advantage in ion battery as the anode material, the shortcomings such as poor conductivity and volume expansion seriously affect the performance. In this work, NiSx nanoparticles with an S/N-doped carbon layer (NiSx@S/N–C) are prepared by a simple hydrothermal reaction combined with heat treatment. At 2 A g−1, the discharge-specific capacity of the NiSx@S/N–C electrode can achieve at 609 mAh g−1 at the 400th cycle for lithium-ion batteries. Meanwhile, it shows the 270 mAh g−1 discharge capacity in the initial cycle and obtains a high specific capacity of 232 mAh g−1 after 250 cycles at 0.5 A g−1 for Na storage. Abstract

In recent years, with the advantages of long distance and large capacity, ultrahigh voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission projects are developing increasingly in China. Also UHVDC transmission projects share corridors with underground oil & gas pipelines has become increasingly prominent. UHVDC ground electrode influences underground oil & gas pipeline is a new problem in China with rapid development of the electric power and oil-gas industry. When the UHVDC transmission system is working under mono-pole ground return operation mode, a high magnitude ground current will be injected into the soil through the ground electrode. The injected current will cause corrosion effect on the underground metal facilities such as oil & gas pipelines around the UHVDC ground electrode. In this paper, the influence of the ground return current of the UHVDC ground electrode in mono-pole ground return operation mode on the metal pipelines around the UHVDC ground electrode has been studied. The electrolytic corrosion principle of the underground metal pipelines caused by the ground electrode current was discussed. Then several protective measures were elaborated in detail. The research can give useful guideline to the corrosion influence of the UHVDC ground electrode current on the metal pipelines and can provide protective measures for the metal pipelines. It can also be applied in design, planning and site selection periods for new UHVDC ground electrode.

Abstract

Market demands on the product performance and additional service of oil-immersed distribution transformer have become increasingly diversified. Single form of oil-immersed distribution transformer product and pure business relationship cannot adapt to current needs. Product service system innovation design can change single product form to the combination of product and service, it has the significance of further satisfying user requirements, and it is an extension service in a new form of physical product. In this paper, according to Kano model, user requirements were collected and classified. Then based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP), each class of user requirements was sorted by optimal weight and recombined. Finally, user requirements were mapped into correlative function/service characteristics, innovation design of oil-immersed distribution transformer product service system was achieved. The results have a certain guiding role for transformer manufacturers to adapt to the demands of power supply enterprises.

Abstract

In order to analyze the cracking and aging reason of the silicone rubber current transformer (CT) insulation bushing used for 8 years from a 500 kV alternating current substation, characteristics including Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, mechanical properties analysis, hardness, and thermo gravimetric analysis have been carried out. The FTIR results indicated that the external surface of the silicone rubber CT insulation bushing suffered from more serious aging than the internal part, fracture of side chain Si–C bond was much more than the backbone. Mechanical properties and thermal stability results illustrated that the main aging reasons were the breakage of side chain Si–C bond and the excessive cross-linking reaction of the backbone. This study can provide valuable basis for evaluating degradation mechanism and aging state of the silicone rubber insulation bushing in electric power field.

Abstract

The cracking and reasons for aging of silicone rubber current transformer insulation sheath from a 500 kV substation were investigated. Chemical characteristics including attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy, mechanical properties, and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) have been performed on the external surface and internal parts of the silicone rubber CT insulation sheath. The FTIR results indicated that the external surface of the silicone rubber CT insulation sheath suffered from more serious aging than the inner, fracture of the side chain (Si-C bond) was much more than the backbone (Si-O bond). Mechanical test results revealed that the tensile strengths of the external surface parts of the silicone rubber CT insulation sheath were lower than those of the internal parts. TG analysis data indicated thatTonsetdropped nearly 50°C for the external surface of the silicone rubber CT insulation sheath. All the chemical characteristics have showed that the external surface material of the silicone rubber CT insulation sheath had been serious aging. Our work suggested a facile and effective method for evaluating the aging state of the silicone rubber insulation sheath in the electric power field from the perspective of chemical.
