BACKGROUND Adequate iodine intake is necessary for normal thyroid function. The primary source of iodine is diet via the consumption of foods containing iodine, including salt, fruit, and seafood. Research related to iodine-induced thyroid dysfunction has emerged rapidly in recent years. Iodine deficiency is associated with serious complications (i.e miscarriage and stillbirth), whereas excess can cause thyroid dysfunction (i.e hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroid autoimmunity). OBJECTIVE Iodine is essential in thyroid hormone production. We conducted this scientometric study to visualize hot spots and trends in iodine-induced thyroid dysfunction over the past decade. METHODS Articles on iodine-induced thyroid dysfunction from 2000 to 2022 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) using the following search terms: (((((TS=(hypothyroid*)) OR TS=(hyperthyroid*)) OR TS= ("TSH deficiency")) OR TS= ("thyroid stimulating hormone deficiency")) AND TS=(Iodine)) NOT TS=(radioiodine). Only publications in English were selected. CiteSpace, VOSviewer, Tableau, Carrot2, and R software were used to analyze the contribution and co-occurrence relationships of different countries, institutes, keywords, references, and journals. RESULTS A total of 2986 publications from 115 countries and 3412 research institutions were included. From 2000 to 2022, research on iodine-induced thyroid dysfunction progressed over a three-stage development period. The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism had the most co-citations followed and China Medical University (n=76) had the most publications. The top three clusters of co-citation references were isolated maternal hypothyroxinemia, subclinical hyperthyroidism, and brain development. Various scientific methods were applied to reveal acknowledge structure, development trend and research hotspots in io-dine-induced thyroid dysfunction. CONCLUSIONS Our scientometric analysis shows that investigations related to pregnant women, epidemiology surveys, and iodine deficiency are promising topics for future iodine-induced thyroid dysfunction research and highlights the important role of iodine on thyroid function.

Many wooden Chinese historic buildings are destroyed due to the ravages of frequent fire disasters. The fire risk of historic buildings are highly enlarged since a long-time weathered wooden structures in the natural environment. The clean fire-extinguishing technology using fluorinated chemical gases to put out a historic building fire rapidly at the initial stage is highly recommended and widely used. However, the gaseous hydrogen fluoride (HF) yielded during the fire suppression process could be a potential method to result in secondary damage due to its corrosiveness. Nowadays, experiments were employed to clarify the effect of fire suppression on the surface of historic wooden buildings. Five traditional fluorinated chemical gases, H-37, FK-5-1-12, H-1323, H-2402, and H-1301, are used to suppress a fixed flame. The wooden samples, including a Dao Talisman board, a painting paper, and wooden chips, are placed in a chamber. Wooden chips consist of traditional and weathered samples (acting as the Chinese historic buildings). The concentration of gaseous products yielded from fire suppression are monitored by a gas-FTIR from ABB, and the surface analysis is conducted by a Quanta FEG SEM–EDX from FEI. It is observed that flame enhancement happens at the early stage of fire suppression and varies with fire agents. The amount of F-deposited on the wooden surface is positively correlated with a total amount of gaseous HF. The color change mechanism of the wooden surface is comprehensive, although the amount of HF is a leading factor. The influence of HF on color change depends on the amount of both gaseous H2O and HF. It is concluded that the value of L* of the traditional chip is much easier to be reduced comparing with weathered samples with the same wood grain. The reduction of$${\mathrm{b}}^{*}$$b∗value of weathered samples is much larger than the traditional ones. It suggests the weathered chips show a color shift toward blue because of fire suppression. The present study hopes to provide a basic acknowledgment for the comprehensive understanding of secondary damage caused by fire suppression.

The gut microbiota plays a role in tumor therapy by participating in immune regulation. Here, we demonstrated through 8-day probiotic supplementation experiments and fecal microbiota transplantation experiments that Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis SF enhanced the antitumor effect of irinotecan and prevented the occurrence of intestinal damage by modulating the gut microbiota and reducing the relative abundance of pro-inflammatory microbiota. Therefore, the intestinal inflammation was inhibited, the TGF-β leakage was reduced, and the PI3K/AKT pathway activation was inhibited. Thus, the tumor apoptotic autophagy was finally promoted. Sensor fusion is a key technology in ADAS (FCW, PCW, AEB, ACC, etc.) In this paper, the target-level fusion method is used to realize the recognition of key targets through the algorithms such as estimation of the driving area, screening for effective targets, targets matching, target fusion and target tracking. Simulation test and real vehicle test show that the algorithms can identify key targets steadily and screen out radar jamming targets such as guardrails and viaducts.

A low-cost and intelligent power supply system with an STC15 single-chip microcomputer as the main controller is designed. The single chip monitors the mains voltage and controls the relay to switch between the mains and battery power supply. Battery constant current, constant voltage, and floating charge intelligent charging management are achieved through the battery voltage execution. Through the ESP8266WIFI module networking, we can access weather information, and weather judgment, and choose whether to enter the battery mode, which can better protect the power system. The experimental results show that the system can operate reliably and complete the switch between mains supply mode and battery supply mode quickly.

With the continuous development of new energy technology, the photovoltaic system plays an extremely important role in people’s production and life, and new energy. As an indispensable part of a photovoltaic system, the battery voltage monitoring circuit plays a very important role. The voltage of the photovoltaic battery pack is usually relatively high. To ensure the safety of users and ensure that the controller is not affected by other adverse factors, this paper designs a voltage sampling circuit based on a high-precision linear optocoupler HCNR201. The detection circuit has strong electrical isolation characteristics and can monitor the voltage of two or more battery groups. In this paper, two groups of battery voltage monitoring using simulation and hardware test results proved that the voltage detection method has good linearity, and high accuracy, while the input and output of electrical isolation ensure user safety.

High-salt diet (HSD) affects the composition and function of the intestinal microbiota and cause health problems. This study confirmed that HSD aggravates dextran sulphate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis by changing the relative abundance of the gut microbiota, activating the NF-κB pathway, and up-regulating the mRNA levels of inflammatory factors. We explored the effect of L. plantarum 1201 in negating DSS-induced ulcerative colitis, which is aggravated by HSD for the first time. Results show that L. plantarum 1201 rebuilt the balance of intestinal flora by decreasing the ratio of Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes and increasing the relative abundance of Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus and butyric-producing bacteria. Moreover, L. plantarum 1201 inhibited the up-regulation of inflammatory cytokines (e.g., IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-22, and IFN-γ) mRNA levels, increased colonic tight junction protein (ZO-1, ocludin, and claudin-3) expression, and increased serum levels of beneficial metabolites, including alpha-tocopherol (α-T) and D-mannose. By reconstructing an animal model of colitis, we further discovered that α-T and D-mannose inhibited the NF-κB pathway, improved tissue injury, and decreased the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (e.g., IL-1β, TNF-α, and IL-6). This study proves for the first time that L. plantarum 1201 attenuates high-salt-aggravated colitis by increasing the serum concentrations of endogenic D-mannose in mice serum and inhibiting the consumption of α-T through intestinal flora. Therefore, regulating the gut microbiota is a potential treatment for high-salt-aggravated colitis.

Portability and low cost make the PXIe system the best choice to reduce the cost of integrated circuit(IC) testing. However, due to the limitation of the PXIe module volume, the number of channels in a single module cannot be enough. And the testing of an IC with more pins will require multiple modules to achieve. The generation of high-speed digital vector is one of the main problems in IC testing. With the increasing of the working frequency of digital circuits, the speed and accuracy of digital test vector are also required to be higher and higher. Based on FPGA high-speed transceiver, this paper provides a method of generating high-speed digital integrated circuit test vectors. It also introduces the specific implementation of high-speed digital pattern synthesis and broadening, and explains the possible situations in it. The resulting test vector speed is up to 800Mbps and the edge positioning accuracy can reach 40ps.

Camera calibration is the first and the most important step of spatial position measurement. Aiming at improving the measurement precision over a large field of view and long distance, the internal and external parameters of the camera need to be calibrated accurately. Therefore, a simple and accurate calibration method is proposed to solve the problem that a small calibration board cannot appear in the field of view of multiple cameras at the same time. We calibrate the internal and external parameters of camera separately. For the internal parameters, we calculate it using analytical solution estimation method after collecting calibration plate images for feature point detection. For the external parameters, we accurately obtain the relative positions of the cameras with the help of the total station, and then unify the pose relationship of each camera to the same coordinate system through rigid body transformation to obtain the parameters. Then, the maximum likelihood method is used to optimize the estimation of both internal and external parameters to improve the calibration accuracy. Finally, the three-dimensional coordinates of target can be obtained by triangulation. The experimental results show that this method meets requirement of calibration accuracy, and the error of the 3D spatial position of the target is in the centimeter level.

DC regulated power supplies are widely used in teaching, scientific research, industrial production and other fields. The accuracy of the power supply in the automatic test system will affect the quality of the test results. In order to design a high-precision DC regulated power supplies, based on closed-loop negative feedback and self-calibration technology, we use four-wire Kelvin sense and fuzzy adaptive PID control algorithm to improve the accuracy of the output's power, while floating output method has also been used to simplify the design. A microcomputer has been used to control a DAC which outputs a analog voltage to drive a power amplifier, in this way, the power amplifier could output a adjustable voltage with continuously. At the same time, a ADC has been used to sample the amplifier's output and send the sample value to the microcomputer for negative feedback control. A power dissipation control circuit has been designed based on the junction temperature characteristics of the power amplifier to improve power conversion efficiency and accuracy. The experiment test results show that the designed power supply's output voltage range is $0\sim\pm 30\mathrm{V}$ , accuracy is ± ( $0.25\% \ast \mathrm{U}\pm 10\text{mV}$ ), current range is $0\sim\pm 6\mathrm{A}$ , accuracy is ± ( $0.2\%^{\ast}\mathrm{I}\pm 5\text{mA}$ ), maximum power is 65W, which meets the expectations target.

In recent years, a growing number of cities in China have successively rolled out bicycle-sharing systems to facilitate bicycle use, including not only metropolises but also some underdeveloped cities with populations of less than 1 million. One of those underdeveloped cities, Xuchang, launched its bicycle-sharing system in 2014. This service provides a convenient way for members to cycle for some of their short trips. Interest in the bicycle-sharing systems of metropolises is growing rapidly; however, studies on underdeveloped cities are still limited. This study investigated the factors influencing the adoption of a bicycle-sharing system in Xuchang, by analyzing massive smart card data from July 2014 to mid-April 2015 and 500 intercept survey questionnaires in April 2015. Different questions were ready for members and nonmembers in the questionnaires and the statistical results show the characteristics of users of the Xuchang bicycle-sharing system, including demographic characteristics, travel habits, and degree of satisfaction. Moreover, the space–time distribution characteristics of the Xuchang bicycle-sharing system were analyzed by dividing a massive data set into three groups: weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Results showed that compared with the clearly defined role of “resolve the last-kilometer problem” in a metropolis, bicycle-sharing in underdeveloped cities acts as an alternative way of transportation rather than a transfer traffic mode. Results also showed that bicycle-sharing systems gained more popularity in underdeveloped cities than in metropolises because of the smaller extent of egression, resident travel habits, the traffic environment, and so on.

Large amounts of wastewater are generated from stone processing, which are toxic and cause serious environmental and health risks. To quantify the content of stone processing wastewater and estimate its effects on plant growth, we collected water samples from sewage outfall of four stone processing factories and nearby water bodies. The concentration of potential toxic metals were much higher in the wastewater than background controls. Wastewater inhibited plant primary root elongation, lateral root formation, and growth of aerial part. Seedlings treated with the effluents were unhealthy with deep purple leaves and usually died before flowering. Chlorophyll a/b contents and chloroplast number were reduced in those abnormal mesophyll cells. Transcriptional levels were decreased for chloroplast formation genes, but increased for those participated in chloroplast degradation and catabolism. Six out of nine tested senescence-associated genes were up-regulated. Furthermore, our results show that endogenous toxic metal levels indeed increased after wastewater treatment. Altogether, these results indicated that the potential toxic metals rich wastewater had significant inhibition on plant growth and led to senescence-associated program cell death, which could be helpful for the government and enterprises to understand the environmental risks and formulate reasonable wastewater emission standards for the stone processing industry.

This paper utilizes administrative data to analyze expenditure responses to the health insurance policy in rural China, and clear visual evidence of bunching is observed at the kink point. A static response model with optimization frictions estimates that a complete elimination of the reimbursement would cause the total expenditure per visit to decrease by 34.5%, and approximately one-third of the studied population makes decisions with errors. Heterogeneous expenditure responses and optimization frictions are observed across demographic groups. Cost-benefit and counterfactual analyses indicate that the current policy generates the greatest welfare gains.

Research on Computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) of breast cancer in the last decade is reported tremendous. In this paper, a breast cancer diagnosis system based on rough set theory, SOM neutral work, and Genetic Algorithm is proposed. With this system, we transform data to knowledge which is very important to early diagnosis and further medical research of breast cancer. The system first discretizes breast cancer medical data by training SOM neural network; then reduce condition attributes by GA; finally induce diagnosis rules from decision table. Prior knowledge is not required by system. Specific diagnosis rules are available, and result is objective. Testing system on WDBC data set, we get 48 breast cancer diagnosis rules. Use these rules as classifier to evaluate performance of diagnosis system. The experiment result shows that diagnosis accuracy is substantially increased compared with traditional diagnosis method and other CAD methods.
