This paper attempts to find out the use of English as a Medium of instruction (EMI) in higher level in English as a foreign language (EFL) classroom. For the study, weselected 16 teachers and 80 students teaching and studying in Bachelor level in Mid-West University and TU affiliated colleges from the Surkhet valley using simple random sampling technique. Then, we distributed the questionnaire to the participants, observed their classes, and took interviews to collect the required information. From the critical analysis and interpretation of the information, we conclude that all the teachers and most of the students in higher level preferred EMI. Similarly, EMI in English subjects forced to implement EMI in other subjects in EFL situation, too. The result showed that EMI is being implemented but majority of the students in higher level have been facing various problems and challenges; specifically, most of the students were interested in learning English through mother tongue though they want to be enclosed with the EMI. This study concludes with suggestion to develop positive attitude towards EMI from practice to policy level with sufficient teaching learning aids, trainings and essential requirements in higher education in EFL context

The rapid growth of social networking sites in the Internet era has made them a necessary tool for sharing emotions with the entire world. To extract emotions from text, a variety of tools and approaches are available in fields of opinion mining as well as sentiment analysis. These researches propose novel technique opinion mining based emotion detection from the input social content using deep learning architectures. Here the input has been obtained as social media content based on opinion miningby 5G networks. The input has been processed for noise removal, smoothening and normalization. This processed input has been segmented using Markov model based convolutional neural networks (MMCNN). The segmented data has been classified using Canonical Correlation AnalysisBayesian neural network.An opinion mining method that analyzes statements regarding computer programming and predicts or recognizes their polarity was implemented, along with an earlier module that was integrated into an intelligent learning environment. These three steps made up the creation of the module. We assessed the corpus, text polarity precision, and emotion recognition. Experimental analysis has been carried out for various social media content collected by opinion mining in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, F-1 score, AUC.Proposed technique attained accuracy of 99%, precision of 96%, recall of 96%, F-1 score of 95%, AUC of 89%.

This paper reports on three design of Frequency Divider (FD/2) and Frequency Divider (FD 2/3) circuits. Tanner EDA tool developed on 130nm CMOS technology with a voltage supply of 1.3 V is used to build, model, and compare all circuits. For the FD/2 circuit, E-TSPC Pass Transistor logic uses 1.77 µW, whereas TSPC logic consumes 5.57 µW for the FD 2/3 circuit. It implies that the TSPC logic is the best solution since it meets the speed and power consumption requirements.

This paper aims to explore the pitfalls of the current evaluation system at the school level in Nepal focusing on the major consequences of educational practices as the output of the evaluation system. Although the provisions of formative assessment tools such as portfolio management and project work were included in the curriculum framework and policy documents, the evaluation process was based on a theoretical basis. Similarly, the judgmental written examination for assessing theoretical aspects and Continuous Assessment System (CAS) with backward-looking nature were involved in the evaluation process. The paper suggests to the educational stakeholders for the practical application and evaluation of soft-skills associated methods such as communication, creativity, cooperation and collaboration of basic and secondary students to promote formative evaluation and the curriculum concept of 'assessment for learning in Nepal.

The chapter entitled Post-Covid Ideology and Dimensions in Language Teaching aims to explore the possible educational intervention in post-covid classrooms. It focuses on the role of teachers, stakeholders, curriculum, and technologies in the field of language teaching in the new-normal classroom situation after the Covid-19 pandemic. The chapter reviews the cultural and linguistic ideology of community developed as a possible way out in the new learning situation in the context of Nepal. Additionally, it discusses the paradigm shift in teaching-learning ideologies from the theoretical to practical perspectives for language teaching.
