The increasing number of vehicles highlights the need for efficient parking space management. Predicting real-time Parking Availability (PA) can help mitigate traffic congestion and the corresponding social problems, which is a pressing issue in densely populated cities like Singapore. In this study, we aim to collectively predict future PA across Singapore with complex factors from various domains. The contributions in this paper are listed as follows: (1) A New Dataset: We introduce the \texttt{SINPA} dataset, containing a year's worth of PA data from 1,687 parking lots in Singapore, enriched with various spatial and temporal factors. (2) A Data-Driven Approach: We present DeepPA, a novel deep-learning framework, to collectively and efficiently predict future PA across thousands of parking lots. (3) Extensive Experiments and Deployment: DeepPA demonstrates a 9.2% reduction in prediction error for up to 3-hour forecasts compared to existing advanced models. Furthermore, we implement DeepPA in a practical web-based platform to provide real-time PA predictions to aid drivers and inform urban planning for the governors in Singapore. We report large nonreciprocity in the transmission of shear-horizontal surface acoustic waves (SAWs) on LiTaO3 substrate coated with a FeCoSiB/NiFeCu magnetoelastic bilayer. The large difference in saturation magnetization of the two layers not only brings nonreciprocal spin waves (SWs), but also ensures the phonon-magnon (SAWs-SWs) coupling at relatively low wavenumbers. It is found that the angle between the magnetization and the wavevector play important roles in determining the strength of magnetoelastic coupling and nonreciprocity, simultaneously. A large nonreciprocal transmission of SAWs about 30 dB (i.e. 60 dB/mm) is demonstrated at 2.33 GHz. In addition, the dispersion relation between coupled SH-SAWs and nonreciprocal SWs is developed, which provide a good insight into the observed phenomena. Our results offer a convenient approach to implement nonreciprocal SAW isolators or circulators.

The field-dependence elastic modulus of magnetostrictive films, also called {\Delta}E or {\Delta}G effect, is crucial for ultrasensitive magnetic field sensors based on surface acoustic waves (SAWs). In spite of a lot of successful demonstrations, rare attention was paid to the frequency-dependence of {\Delta}E or {\Delta}G effect. In current work, shear horizontal-type SAW delay lines coated with a thin FeCoSiB layer have been studied at various frequencies upon applying magnetic fields. The change of shear modulus of FeCoSiB has been extracted by measuring the field-dependent phase shift of SAWs. It is found that the {\Delta}G effect is significantly enhanced at high-order harmonic frequencies close to the ferromagnetic resonance frequency, increasing by ~82% compared to that at the first SAW mode (128 MHz). In addition, the smaller the effective damping factor of magnetostrictive layer, the more pronounced {\Delta}G effect can be obtained, which is explained by our proposed dynamic magnetoelastic coupling model.

A non-magnetic layer can inject spin-polarized currents into an adjacent ferromagnetic layer via spin vorticity coupling (SVC), inducing spin wave resonance (SWR). In this work, we present the theoretical model of SWR generated by shear-horizontal surface acoustic wave (SH-SAW) via SVC, which contains distinct vorticities from well-studied Rayleigh SAW. Both Rayleigh- and SH-SAW delay lines have been designed and fabricated with a Ni81Fe19/Cu bilayer integrated on ST-cut quartz. Given the same wavelength, the measured power absorption of SH-SAW is four orders of magnitudes higher than that of the Rayleigh SAW. In addition, a high-order frequency dependence of the SWR is observed in the SH-SAW, indicating SVC can be strong enough to compare with magnetoelastic coupling.

Surface-acoustic-wave (SAW) based devices have emerged as a promising technology in magnetic field sensing by integrating a magnetostrictive layer with the giant {\Delta}E/{\Delta}G effect. However, almost all SAW magnetic field sensors require a bias field to obtain high sensitivity. In addition, the true nature of magneto-acoustic coupling still presents a major challenge in understanding and designing of this kind of devices. In current work, a dynamic magnetoelastic model for the {\Delta}E/{\Delta}G effect is established in consideration of the important role of the dipole-dipole interaction. The model is also implemented into a FEM software to calculate the resonance frequency responses of multiple fabricated sensors with different {\psi} angles between of the acoustic wave vector and the induced uniaxial magnetic anisotropy. The measured results are in excellent agreement with the simulated ones. A strong resonance frequency sensitivity (RFS) of 630.4 kHz/Oe was achieved at zero bias field for the device with optimized {\psi} angle. Furthermore, the RFS measurements along different directions verify its vector-sensing capability.

With the advent of the post-Moore era, researches on beyond-Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) approaches have been attracted more and more attention. Magnonics, or spin wave is one of the most promising technology beyond CMOS, which magnons-quanta for spin waves-process the information analogous to electronic charges in electronics. Information transmission by spin waves, which uses the frequency, amplitude and (or) phase to encode information, has a great many of advantages such as extremely low energy loss and wide-band frequency. Moreover, using the nonlinear characteristics of spin waves for information transmission can increase the extra degree of freedom of information. This review provides a tutorial overview over the effects of spin wave propagation and recent research progress in uniform spin wave waveguide. The propagation characteristics of spin waves in uniform waveguides and some special propagation phenomena such as spin wave beam splitting and self-focusing are described by combining experimental phenomena and theoretical formulas. Furthermore, we summarize methods for modulating propagation of spin wave in uniform waveguide, and comment on the advantages and limitations of these methods. The review may promote the development of information transmission technology based on spin waves.

We present a tool for batch generation of input scripts and multi-type Fourier analysis from simulation results for the micromagnetic software MuMax3. The introduction of graphical user interface and parameter-sweeping functionality strongly speed up the input scripts creation and accelerate model optimization processes consequently. Three types of important Fourier analysis methods are provided for the acquisition of the quantitative frequency compositions, the spin-wave dispersion curve and the spatial distribution of spin-wave powers at different frequencies, respectively. Since the Fourier analysis is accelerated by parallel computations, the time cost is reduced to an acceptable level even in the presentation of tens of gigabytes data. With the MuMax3 and our proposal, a complete micromagnetic simulating tool chain from scripts generation to post analysis has been developed.

Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) is a promising candidate for spin wave devices. In the thin film devices, the interface between YIG and substrate may play important roles in determining the device properties. Here, we use spherical aberration-corrected scanning electron microscopy and spectroscopy to study the atomic arrangement, chemistry and electronic structure of the YIG/Gd3Ga5O12 (GGG) interface. We find that the chemical bonding of the interface is FeO-GdGaO and the interface remains sharp in both atomic and electronic structures. These results provide necessary information for understanding the properties of interface and also for atomistic calculation.

We propose to use a soft/hard exchange-spring coupling bilayer magnetic structure to introduce a narrow channel for spin-wave propagation. We show by micromagnetic simulations that broad-band Damon-Eshbach geometry spin waves can be strongly localized into the channel and propagate effectively with a proper high group velocity. The beamwidth of the bound mode spin waves is almost independent from the frequency and is smaller than 24nm. For a low-frequency excitation, we further investigate the appearance of two other spin beams in the lateral of the channel. In contrast to a domain wall, the channel formed by exchange-spring coupling can be easier to realize in experimental scenarios and holds stronger immunity to surroundings.
