Objective To analyze the factors related to the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients, with the aim of providing a reference for the risk assessment of them. Methods Clinical data of 322 T2DM patients combined with CAD admitted to Jinan City People's Hospital from January 2019 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into the mild group (Gensini score≤54, n=177) and the moderate to severe group (Gensini score＞54, n=145) based on the Gensini score. The clinical data of age, gender, and blood indexes between the two groups were compared. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) and logistic regression analysis were used to screen for factors correlated with the severity of CAD in T2DM patients. The prediction model was established, the model calibration curve and the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) were drawn, and the area under the curve (AUC) was calculated to evaluate its accuracy. Results Age, total cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, remnant cholesterol and lipoprotein (a) levels were higher in the moderate to severe CAD in the mild group (P＜0.05).For patients with moderate to severe coronary artery lesions in T2DM, the multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, residual cholesterol and serum lipoprotein (a) levels were independent risk factors (P＜0.05). LASSO regression showed age (Z=3.251, P=0.001), residual cholesterol (Z=2.565, P=0.010) and serum lipoprotein (a) levels (Z=7.989, P＜0.001) were independent predictor of T2MD patients with moderate to serve CAD, 〖JP+1〗and the column chart prediction model constructed from the above factors had good accuracy (AUC=0.826). Conclusion Age, remnant cholesterol and lipoprotein (a) levels can effectively predict the severity of CAD in T2DM patients, and have good accuracy.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the changes of polypeptides and free amino acids in Acetes chinensis before and after autolysis. Methods: The optimal pH and temperature of the endogenous protease of the A. chinensis were determined and the autolysis conditions were optimized. Then changes of a polypeptide, amino acid and molecular weight in the product before and after autolysis were studied under the optimal conditions. Results: The optimum temperature and pH of endogenous protease were 45 ℃ and 8.0 respectively. Under the optimal autolysis conditions of pH 8.0, temperature 40 ℃, and reaction time 4 h, the polypeptide concentration of A. chinensis surimi was 10.36 mg/mL. The content of total free amino acids, essential amino acids and hydrophobic amino acids increased, the proportion of bitter amino acids increased by （4.54±0.02）%, while the proportion of umami amino acids and sweet amino acids decreased by （3.46±0.02）% and （1.78±0.01）% respectively. The proportion of degradation products with molecular weight less than 1 000 Da increased from 70% to 87%. Conclusion: Autolysis technology can degrade the protein of A. chinensis and release small molecule peptides and amino acids.

Halide perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) have exhibited significantly superior nonlinear optical properties compared to traditional semiconductor materials thanks to their peculiar physical and electronic structures. By further improving the nonlinear optical properties of PQDs, it is expected to adapt to ultrafast photonics applications. This work reported the nonlinear optical properties of methylammonium lead bromide-graphene (CH3NH3PbBr3-G) composites synthesized by growing CH3NH3PbBr3 quantum dots directly from a graphene oxide lattice. Our experiments indicate that the combined advantages of the ultrafast charge transport properties from graphene and the strong charge generation efficiency of perovskite can be integrated together. The CH3NH3PbBr3-G composite exhibited enhanced saturable absorption properties with large modulation depth and very low saturation intensity. The transient absorption spectra and carrier dynamics analysis revealed that the enhancement of the saturated absorption properties of the composites mainly arose from the ultrafast charge transfer between G and CH3NH3PbBr3 which promoted the coupling between different states. The results pave the way for the design of optical switches or mode lockers based on saturable absorbers with good performance.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) using 460 nm blue light has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on skin cancer cells. In this study, we used a continuous LED light source with a wavelength of 460 nm and designed various combinations of power density (ranging from 6.4 to 25.6 mW) and dose (ranging from 0.96 to 30.72 J/cm2) to conduct treatment experiments on MeWo cells to investigate the effects of blue light on MeWo melanoma cells. We are focusing on cell viability, cytotoxicity, mitochondrial function, oxidative stress, and apoptosis. We found that blue light inhibits these melanoma cells through oxidative stress and DNA damage, and this inhibition intensifies at higher irradiance levels. Although the cells initially attempt to resist the stress induced by the treatment, they eventually undergo apoptosis over time. These findings contribute to understanding melanoma's molecular response to blue light PBM, lay the groundwork for future clinical applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
