Physical aggression is a serious and widespread problem in society, affecting people worldwide. It impacts nearly every aspect of life. While some studies explore the root causes of violent behavior, others focus on urban planning in high-crime areas. Real-time violence detection, powered by artificial intelligence, offers a direct and efficient solution, reducing the need for extensive human supervision and saving lives. This paper is a continuation of a systematic mapping study and its objective is to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date review of AI-based video violence detection, specifically in physical assaults. Regarding violence detection, the following have been grouped and categorized from the review of the selected papers: 21 challenges that remain to be solved, 28 datasets that have been created in recent years, 21 keyframe extraction methods, 16 types of algorithm inputs, as well as a wide variety of algorithm combinations and their corresponding accuracy results. Given the lack of recent reviews dealing with the detection of violence in video, this study is considered necessary and relevant.

Many studies focusing on improving Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) flow control realize a more effective use of bandwidth in data center networks. They are excellent ways to more effectively use the bandwidth between clients and back-end servers. However, these schemes cannot achieve the total optimization of bandwidth use for data center networks as they do not take into account the path design of TCP flows against a hierarchical complex structure of data center networks. To address this issue, this paper proposes a TCP flow management scheme specified a hierarchical complex data center network for effective bandwidth use. The proposed scheme dynamically controls the paths of TCP flows by reinforcement learning based on a hierarchical feedback model, which obtains an optimal TCP flow establishment policy even if both the network topology and link states are more complicated. In evaluation, the proposed scheme achieved more effective bandwidth use and reduced the probability of TCP incast up to 30% than the conventional TCP flow management schemes: Variant Load Balancing (VLB), Equal Cost Multi Path (ECMP), and Intelligent Forwarding Strategy Based on Reinforcement Learning (IFS-RL) in the complex data center network.

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based object detection methods are widely used in traffic detection due to their high flexibility and extensive coverage. In recent years, with the increasing complexity of the urban road environment, UAV object detection algorithms based on deep learning have gradually become a research hotspot. However, how to further improve algorithmic efficiency in response to the numerous and rapidly changing road elements, and thus achieve high-speed and accurate road object detection, remains a challenging issue. Given this context, this paper proposes the high-efficiency multi-object detection algorithm for UAVs (HeMoDU). HeMoDU reconstructs a state-of-the-art, deep-learning-based object detection model and optimizes several aspects to improve computational efficiency and detection accuracy. To validate the performance of HeMoDU in urban road environments, this paper uses the public urban road datasets VisDrone2019 and UA-DETRAC for evaluation. In the process of fabric production, various types of defects affect the quality of a fabric. However, due to the wide variety of fabric defects, the complexity of fabric textures, and the concealment of small target defects, current fabric defect detection algorithms suffer from issues such as having a slow detection speed, low detection accuracy, and a low recognition rate of small target defects. Therefore, developing an efficient and accurate fabric defect detection system has become an urgent problem that needs to be addressed in the textile industry. Addressing the aforementioned issues, this paper proposes an improved YOLOv8n-LAW algorithm based on the YOLOv8n algorithm. First, LSKNet attention mechanisms are added to both ends of the C2f module in the backbone network to provide a broader context area, enhancing the algorithm's feature extraction capability. Next, the PAN-FPN structure of the backbone network is replaced by the AFPN structure, so that the different levels of features of the defects are closer to the semantic information in the progressive fusion. Finally, the CIoU loss is replaced with the WIoU v3 loss, allowing the model to dynamically adjust gradient gains based on the features of fabric defects, effectively focusing on distinguishing between defective and non-defective regions. The experimental results show that the improved YOLOv8n-LAW algorithm achieved an accuracy of 97.4% and a detection speed of 46 frames per second, while effectively increasing the recognition rate of small target defects. To reduce safety accidents caused by distracted driving and address issues such as low recognition accuracy and deployment difficulties in current algorithms for distracted behavior detection, this paper proposes an algorithm that utilizes an improved KNN for classifying driver posture features to predict distracted driving behavior. Firstly, the number of channels in the Lightweight OpenPose network is pruned to predict and output the coordinates of key points in the upper body of the driver. Secondly, based on the principles of ergonomics, driving behavior features are modeled, and a set of five-dimensional feature values are obtained through geometric calculations. Finally, considering the relationship between the distance between samples and the number of samples, this paper proposes an adjustable distance-weighted KNN algorithm (ADW-KNN), which is used for classification and prediction. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieved a recognition rate of 94.04% for distracted driving behavior on the public dataset SFD3, with a speed of up to 50FPS, superior to mainstream deep learning algorithms in terms of accuracy and speed. A deep learning-based Visual Inertial SLAM technique is proposed in this paper to ensure accurate autonomous localization of mobile robots in environments with dynamic objects. Addressing the limitations of real-time performance in deep learning algorithms and the poor robustness of pure visual geometry algorithms, this paper presents a deep learning-based Visual Inertial SLAM technique. Firstly, a non-blocking model is designed to extract semantic information from images. Then, a motion probability hierarchy model is proposed to obtain prior motion probabilities of feature points. For image frames without semantic information, a motion probability propagation model is designed to determine the prior motion probabilities of feature points. Furthermore, considering that the output of inertial measurements is unaffected by dynamic objects, this paper integrates inertial measurement information to improve the estimation accuracy of feature point motion probabilities. An adaptive threshold-based motion probability estimation method is proposed, and finally, the positioning accuracy is enhanced by eliminating feature points with excessively high motion probabilities. To overcome the deficiencies in segmenting hot spots from thermal infrared images, such as difficulty extracting the edge features, low accuracy, and a high missed detection rate, an improved Mask R-CNN photovoltaic hot spot thermal image segmentation algorithm has been proposed in this paper. Firstly, the edge image features of hot spots were extracted based on residual neural networks. Secondly, by combining the feature pyramid structure, an edge-guided feature pyramid structure was designed, and the hot spot edge features were injected into a Mask R-CNN network. Thirdly, an infrared spatial attention module was introduced into the Mask R-CNN network when feature extraction and the infrared features of the detected hot spots were enhanced. Fourthly, the size ratio of the candidate frames was adjusted self-adaptively according to the structural characteristics of the aspect ratio of the hot spots. Finally, the validation experiments were conducted, and the results demonstrated that the hot spot contours of thermal infrared images were enhanced through the algorithm proposed in this paper, and the segmentation accuracy was significantly improved. An autonomous place recognition system is essential for scenarios where GPS is useless, such as underground tunnels. However, it is difficult to use existing algorithms to fully utilize the small number of effective features in underground tunnel data, and recognition accuracy is difficult to guarantee. In order to solve this challenge, an efficient point cloud position recognition algorithm, named Dual-Attention Transformer Network (DAT-Net), is proposed in this paper. The algorithm firstly adopts the farthest point downsampling module to eliminate the invalid redundant points in the point cloud data and retain the basic shape of the point cloud, which reduces the size of the point cloud and, at the same time, reduces the influence of the invalid point cloud on the data analysis. After that, this paper proposes the dual-attention Transformer module to facilitate local information exchange by utilizing the multi-head self-attention mechanism. It extracts local descriptors and integrates highly discriminative global descriptors based on global context with the help of a feature fusion layer to obtain a more accurate and robust global feature representation. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the underlying technology that has enabled connecting daily apparatus to the Internet and enjoying the facilities of smart services. IoT marketing is experiencing an impressive 16.7% growth rate and is a nearly USD 300.3 billion market. These eye-catching figures have made it an attractive playground for cybercriminals. IoT devices are built using resource-constrained architecture to offer compact sizes and competitive prices. As a result, integrating sophisticated cybersecurity features is beyond the scope of the computational capabilities of IoT. All of these have contributed to a surge in IoT intrusion. This paper presents an LSTM-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) with a Dynamic Access Control (DAC) algorithm that not only detects but also defends against intrusion. This novel approach has achieved an impressive 97.16% validation accuracy. Unlike most of the IDSs, the model of the proposed IDS has been selected and optimized through mathematical analysis. Additionally, it boasts the ability to identify a wider range of threats (14 to be exact) compared to other IDS solutions, translating to enhanced security. Furthermore, it has been fine-tuned to strike a balance between accurately flagging threats and minimizing false alarms. Its impressive performance metrics (precision, recall, and F1 score all hovering around 97%) showcase the potential of this innovative IDS to elevate IoT security. Evolutionary multi-objective clustering (EMOC) algorithms have gained popularity recently, as they can obtain a set of clustering solutions in a single run by optimizing multiple objectives. Particularly, in one type of EMOC algorithm, the number of clusters k is taken as one of the multiple objectives to obtain a set of clustering solutions with different k. However, the numbers of clusters k and other objectives are not always in conflict, so it is impossible to obtain the clustering solutions with all different k in a single run. Therefore, evolutionary multi-objective k-clustering (EMO-KC) has recently been proposed to ensure this conflict. However, EMO-KC could not obtain good clustering accuracy on high-dimensional datasets. Moreover, EMO-KC's validity is not ensured as one of its objectives (SSDexp, which is transformed from the sum of squared distances (SSD)) could not be effectively optimized and it could not avoid invalid solutions in its initialization. In this paper, an improved evolutionary multi-objective clustering algorithm based on autoencoder (AE-IEMOKC) is proposed to improve the accuracy and ensure the validity of EMO-KC. The proposed AE-IEMOKC is established by combining an autoencoder with an improved version of EMO-KC (IEMO-KC) for better accuracy, where IEMO-KC is improved based on EMO-KC by proposing a scaling factor to help effectively optimize the objective of SSDexp and introducing a valid initialization to avoid the invalid solutions. Experimental results on several datasets demonstrate the accuracy and validity of AE-IEMOKC. Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms are playing a crucial role in transforming healthcare by enhancing the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of medical care, research, and operations. These algorithms enable healthcare providers to offer more accurate diagnoses, predict outcomes, and customize treatments to individual patient needs. AI also improves operational efficiency by automating routine tasks and optimizing resource management. However, there are challenges to adopting AI in healthcare, such as data privacy concerns and potential biases in algorithms. Street-view images can help us to better understand the city environment and its potential characteristics. With the development of computer vision and deep learning, the technology of semantic segmentation algorithms has become more mature. However, DeeplabV3+, which is commonly used in semantic segmentation, has shortcomings such as a large number of parameters, high requirements for computing resources, and easy loss of detailed information. Therefore, this paper proposes LM-DeeplabV3+, which aims to greatly reduce the parameters and computations of the model while ensuring segmentation accuracy. Firstly, the lightweight network MobileNetV2 is selected as the backbone network, and the ECA attention mechanism is introduced after MobileNetV2 extracts shallow features to improve the ability of feature representation; secondly, the ASPP module is improved, and on this basis, the EPSA attention mechanism is introduced to achieve cross-dimensional channel attention and important feature interaction; thirdly, a loss function named CL loss is designed to balance the training offset of multiple categories and better indicate the segmentation quality. This paper conducted experimental verification on the Cityspaces dataset, and the results showed that the mIoU reached 74.9%, which was an improvement of 3.56% compared to DeeplabV3+; and the mPA reached 83.01%, which was an improvement of 2.53% compared to DeeplabV3+. Deep learning-based object detection methods address the problem of how to trade off the object detection accuracy and detection speed of the model. This paper proposes the PBA-YOLOv7 network algorithm, which is based on the YOLOv7 network, and first introduces the PConv, which lightens the ELAN module in the backbone network structure and reduces the number of parameters to improve the detection speed of the network and then designs and introduces the BiFusionNet network, which better aggregates the high-level semantic features and the low-level semantic features; and finally, on this basis, the coordinate attention mechanism is introduced to make the network focus on more critical features without increasing the model complexity. Noncontact heart rate monitoring techniques based on millimeter-wave radar have advantages in unique medical scenarios. However, the accuracy of the existing noncontact heart rate estimation methods is still limited by interference, such as DC offsets, respiratory harmonics, and environmental noise. Additionally, these methods still require longer observation times. Most deep learning methods related to heart rate estimation still need to collect more heart rate marker data for training. To address the above problems, this paper introduces a radar signal-based heart rate estimation network named the "masked phase autoencoders with a vision transformer network" (MVN). This network is grounded on masked autoencoders (MAEs) for self-supervised pretraining and a vision transformer (ViT) for transfer learning. During the phase preprocessing stage, phase differencing and interpolation smoothing are performed on the input phase signal. In the self-supervised pretraining step, masked self-supervised training is performed on the phase signal using the MAE network. In the transfer learning stage, the encoder segment of the MAE network is integrated with the ViT network to enable transfer learning using labeled heart rate data. The innovative MVN offers a dual advantage—it not only reduces the cost associated with heart rate data acquisition but also adeptly addresses the issue of respiratory harmonic interference, which is an improvement over conventional signal processing methods. The performance of underwater target detection algorithms is affected by poor imaging quality in underwater environments. Due to the arithmetic power limitation of underwater devices, existing deep learning networks are unable to provide efficient detection processes with high detection accuracy. Lightweight CNN models have been actively applied for underwater environment detection, yet their lite feature fusion networks cannot provide effective fusion effects and reduce the detection accuracy. In this paper, a lightweight algorithm based on multi-scale feature fusion was proposed, with the model parameters greatly reduced, improving the target detection accuracy. The forward propagation memory overhead is reduced by using multi-scale shared convolutional kernels and pooling operations to co-construct the query matrix in the Tansformer encoding stage. Then, the feature fusion path is optimized in order to enhance the connection of multi-scale features. A multiscale feature adaptive fusion strategy is used to enhance the detection performance and reduce the dependence on the complex feature extraction network. The feature extraction network is also reparameterized to simplify the operation. Using the UPRC offshore dataset for validation, the study results have demonstrated that the statistical mAP metrics validate the detection accuracy. Compared with SSD, RetinaNet and YOLOv5-s improved by 13%, 8.6%, and 0.8%, while the number of parameters decreased by 76.09%, 89.74%, and 87.67%. In addition, compared with the YOLOv5-lite model algorithm with the same parameter volume, the mAP is improved by 3.8%, which verifies the accuracy and efficiency of the algorithm in this paper. The annotation of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images plays an important role in deep learning-based MRI segmentation tasks. Semi-automatic annotation algorithms are helpful for improving the efficiency and reducing the difficulty of MRI image annotation. However, the existing semi-automatic annotation algorithms based on deep learning have poor pre-annotation performance in the case of insufficient segmentation labels. In this paper, we propose a semi-automatic MRI annotation algorithm based on semi-weakly supervised learning. In order to achieve a better pre-annotation performance in the case of insufficient segmentation labels, semi-supervised and weakly supervised learning were introduced, and a semi-weakly supervised learning segmentation algorithm based on sparse labels was proposed. In addition, in order to improve the contribution rate of a single segmentation label to the performance of the pre-annotation model, an iterative annotation strategy based on active learning was designed. The experimental results on public MRI datasets show that the proposed algorithm achieved an equivalent pre-annotation performance when the number of segmentation labels was much less than that of the fully supervised learning algorithm, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. In recent years, deep learning has found widespread application in SAR image object detection. However, when detecting multi-scale targets against complex backgrounds, these models often struggle to strike a balance between accuracy and speed. Furthermore, there is a continuous need to enhance the performance of current models. Hence, this paper proposes LRMSNet, a new multi-scale target detection model designed specifically for SAR images in complex backgrounds. Firstly, the paper introduces an attention module designed to enhance contextual information aggregation and capture global features, which is integrated into a backbone network with an expanded receptive field for improving SAR image feature extraction. Secondly, this paper develops an information aggregation module to effectively fuse different feature layers of the backbone network. Lastly, to better integrate feature information at various levels, this paper designs a multi-scale aggregation network. We validate the effectiveness of our method on three different SAR object detection datasets (MSAR-1.0, SSDD, and HRSID). Experimental results demonstrate that LRMSNet achieves outstanding performance with a mean average accuracy (mAP) of 95.2%, 98.9%, and 93.3% on the MSAR-1.0, SSDD, and HRSID datasets, respectively, with only 3.46 M parameters and 12.6 G floating-point operation cost (FLOPs). When compared with existing SAR object detection models on the MSAR-1.0 dataset, LRMSNet achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance, showcasing its superiority in addressing SAR detection challenges in large-scale complex environments and across various object scales. To address the shortcomings of previous autonomous decision models, which often overlook the personalized features of users, this paper proposes a personalized decision control algorithm for autonomous vehicles based on RLHF (reinforcement learning from human feedback). The algorithm combines two reinforcement learning approaches, DDPG (Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient) and PPO (proximal policy optimization), and divides the control scheme into three phases including pre-training, human evaluation, and parameter optimization. During the pre-training phase, an agent is trained using the DDPG algorithm. In the human evaluation phase, different trajectories generated by the DDPG-trained agent are scored by individuals with different styles, and the respective reward models are trained based on the trajectories. In the parameter optimization phase, the network parameters are updated using the PPO algorithm and the reward values given by the reward model to achieve personalized autonomous vehicle control. To validate the control algorithm designed in this paper, a simulation scenario was built using CARLA_0.9.13 software. The results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can provide personalized decision control solutions for different styles of people, satisfying human needs while ensuring safety. In response to the numerous challenges faced by traditional human pose recognition methods in practical applications, such as dense targets, severe edge occlusion, limited application scenarios, complex backgrounds, and poor recognition accuracy when targets are occluded, this paper proposes a YOLO-Pose algorithm for human pose estimation. The specific improvements are divided into four parts. Firstly, in the Backbone section of the YOLO-Pose model, lightweight GhostNet modules are introduced to reduce the model's parameter count and computational requirements, making it suitable for deployment on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Secondly, the ACmix attention mechanism is integrated into the Neck section to improve detection speed during object judgment and localization. Furthermore, in the Head section, key points are optimized using coordinate attention mechanisms, significantly enhancing key point localization accuracy. Lastly, the paper improves the loss function and confidence function to enhance the model's robustness. Experimental results demonstrate that the improved model achieves a 95.58% improvement in mAP50 and a 69.54% improvement in mAP50-95 compared to the original model, with a reduction of 14.6 M parameters. The model achieves a detection speed of 19.9 ms per image, optimized by 30% and 39.5% compared to the original model. Underwater acoustic (UWA) channel prediction technology, as an important topic in UWA communication, has played an important role in UWA adaptive communication network and underwater target perception. Although many significant advancements have been achieved in underwater acoustic channel prediction over the years, a comprehensive summary and introduction is still lacking. As the first comprehensive overview of UWA channel prediction, this paper introduces past works and algorithm implementation methods of channel prediction from the perspective of linear, kernel-based, and deep learning approaches. Importantly, based on available at-sea experiment datasets, this paper compares the performance of current primary UWA channel prediction algorithms under a unified system framework, providing researchers with a comprehensive and objective understanding of UWA channel prediction. Finally, it discusses the directions and challenges for future research. The survey finds that linear prediction algorithms are the most widely applied, and deep learning, as the most advanced type of algorithm, has moved this field into a new stage. The experimental results show that the linear algorithms have the lowest computational complexity, and when the training samples are sufficient, deep learning algorithms have the best prediction performance. Intelligent gangue sorting with high precision is of vital importance for improving coal quality. To tackle the challenges associated with coal gangue target detection, including algorithm performance imbalance and hardware deployment difficulties, in this paper, an intelligent gangue separation system that adopts the elevated YOLO-v5 algorithm and dual-energy X-rays is proposed. Firstly, images of dual-energy X-ray transmission coal gangue mixture under the actual operation of a coal mine were collected, and datasets for training and validation were self-constructed. Then, in the YOLOv5 backbone network, the EfficientNetv2 was used to replace the original cross stage partial darknet (CSPDarknet) to achieve the lightweight of the backbone network; in the neck, a light path aggregation network (LPAN) was designed based on PAN, and a convolutional block attention module (CBAM) was integrated into the BottleneckCSP of the feature fusion block to raise the feature acquisition capability of the network and maximize the learning effect. Subsequently, to accelerate the rate of convergence, an efficient intersection over union (EIOU) was used instead of the complete intersection over union (CIOU) loss function. Finally, to address the problem of low resolution of small targets leading to missed detection, an L2 detection head was introduced to the head section to improve the multi-scale target detection performance of the algorithm. The experimental results indicate that in comparison with YOLOv5-S, the same version of the algorithm proposed in this paper increases by 19.2% and 32.4% on mAP @.5 and mAP @.5:.95, respectively. The number of parameters decline by 51.5%, and the calculation complexity declines by 14.7%. The algorithm suggested in this article offers new ideas for the design of identification algorithms for coal gangue sorting systems, which is expected to save energy and reduce consumption, reduce labor, improve efficiency, and be more friendly to the embedded platform. Tunnel cracks are the main factors that cause damage and collapse of tunnel structures. How to detect tunnel cracks efficiently and avoid safety accidents caused by tunnel cracks effectively is a research hotspot at present. In order to meet the need for efficient detection of tunnel cracks, the tunnel crack detection method based on improved Retinex and deep learning is proposed in this paper. The tunnel crack images collected by optical imaging equipment are used to improve the contrast information of tunnel crack images using the image enhancement algorithm, and this image enhancement algorithm has the function of multi-scale Retinex decomposition with improved central filtering. An improved VGG19 network model is constructed to achieve efficient segmentation of tunnel crack images through deep learning methods and then form the segmented binary image. The Zhang–Suen fast parallel-thinning method is used to obtain the skeleton map of the single-layer pixel, and the length and width information of the tunnel cracks are obtained. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by experiments. Compared with other methods in the literature, the maximum deviation in the length of the tunnel crack is about 5 mm, and the maximum deviation in the width of the tunnel crack is about 0.8 mm. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a shorter detection time and higher detection accuracy. Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS) are becoming of interest to the maritime sector and are also on the agenda of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). With the boom in global maritime traffic, the number of ships is increasing rapidly. The use of intelligent technology to achieve autonomous collision avoidance is a hot issue widely discussed in the industry. In the endeavor to solve this problem, multi-ship coordinated collision avoidance has become a crucial challenge. This paper proposes a multi-ship autonomous collision avoidance decision-making algorithm by a data-driven method and adopts the Multi-agent Deep Reinforcement Learning (MADRL) framework for its design. Firstly, the overall framework of this paper and its components follow the principle of "reality as primary and simulation as supplementary", so a real data-driven AIS (Automatic Identification System) dominates the model construction. Secondly, the agent's observation state is determined by quantifying the hazardous area. Then, based on a full understanding of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) and the preliminary data collection, this paper combines the statistical results of the real water traffic data to guide and design the algorithm framework and selects the representative influencing factors to be designed in the collision avoidance decision-making algorithm's reward function. Next, we train the algorithmic model using both real data and simulation data. Meanwhile, Prioritized Experience Replay (PER) is adopted to accelerate the model's learning efficiency. Finally, 40 encounter scenarios are designed and extended to verify the algorithm performance based on the idea of the Imazu problem. The experimental results show that this algorithm can efficiently make a ship collision avoidance decision in compliance with COLREGs. Multi-agent learning through shared network policies can ensure that the agents pass beyond the safe distance in unknown environments. The purpose of image dehazing is to remove the interference from weather factors in degraded images and enhance the clarity and color saturation of images to maximize the restoration of useful features. Single image dehazing is one of the most important tasks in the field of image restoration. In recent years, due to the progress of deep learning, single image dehazing has made great progress. With the success of Transformer in advanced computer vision tasks, some research studies also began to apply Transformer to image dehazing tasks and obtained surprising results. However, both the deconvolution-neural-network-based dehazing algorithm and Transformer based dehazing algorithm magnify their advantages and disadvantages separately. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel Transformer–Convolution fusion dehazing network (TCFDN), which uses Transformer's global modeling ability and convolutional neural network's local modeling ability to improve the dehazing ability. In the Transformer–Convolution fusion dehazing network, the classic self-encoder structure is used. This paper proposes a Transformer–Convolution hybrid layer, which uses an adaptive fusion strategy to make full use of the Swin-Transformer and convolutional neural network to extract and reconstruct image features. On the basis of previous research, this layer further improves the ability of the network to remove haze. A series of contrast experiments and ablation experiments not only proved that the Transformer–Convolution fusion dehazing network proposed in this paper exceeded the more advanced dehazing algorithm, but also provided solid and powerful evidence for the basic theory on which it depends. Infrared images have good anti-environmental interference ability and can capture hot target information well, but their pictures lack rich detailed texture information and poor contrast. Visible image has clear and detailed texture information, but their imaging process depends more on the environment, and the quality of the environment determines the quality of the visible image. This paper presents an infrared image and visual image fusion algorithm based on deep learning. Two identical feature extractors are used to extract the features of visible and infrared images of different scales, fuse these features through specific fusion methods, and restore the features of visible and infrared images to the pictures through the feature restorer to make up for the deficiencies in the various photos of infrared and visible images. To address the issue of low accuracy in detecting malicious program behaviors in new power system edge-side applications, we present a detection model based on API call sequences that combines rule matching and deep learning techniques in this paper. We first use the PrefixSpan algorithm to mine frequent API call sequences in different threads of the same program within a malicious program dataset to create a rule base for malicious behavior sequences. The API call sequences to be examined are then matched using the malicious behavior sequence matching model, and those that do not match are fed into the TextCNN deep learning detection model for additional detection. The two models collaborate to accomplish program behavior detection. In substation lightning rod meter reading data taking, the classical object detection model is not suitable for deployment in substation monitoring hardware devices due to its large size, large number of parameters, and slow detection speed, while is difficult to balance detection accuracy and real-time requirements with the existing lightweight object detection model. To address this problem, this paper constructs a lightweight object detection algorithm, YOLOv5-Meter Reading Lighting (YOLOv5-MRL), based on the improved YOLOv5 model's speed while maintaining accuracy. Then, the YOLOv5s are pruned based on the convolutional kernel channel soft pruning algorithm, which greatly reduces the number of parameters in the YOLOv5-MRL model while maintaining a certain accuracy loss. Finally, in order to facilitate the dial reading, the dial external circle fitting method is proposed to calculate the dial reading using the circular angle algorithm. The experimental results on the self-built dataset show that the YOLOv5-MRL object detection model achieves a mean average precision of 96.9%, a detection speed of 5 ms/frame, and a model weight size of 5.5 MB, making it better than other advanced dial reading models. Rice pests and diseases have a significant impact on the quality and yield of rice, and even have a certain impact on and cause a loss in the national agricultural industry and economy. The timely and accurate detection of pests and diseases is the basic premise of formulating effective rice pest control and prevention programs. However, the complexity and diversity of pests and diseases and the high similarity between some pests and diseases make the detection and classification task of pests and diseases extremely difficult without detection tools. The existing target detection algorithms can barely complete the task of detecting pests and diseases, but the detection effect is not ideal. In the actual situation of rice disease and insect pest detection, the detection algorithm is required to have fast speed, high accuracy, and good performance for small target detection, and so this paper improved the popular yolov5 algorithm to achieve an ideal detection performance suitable for rice disease and insect pest detection. This paper briefly introduces the current status and influence of rice pests and diseases and several target detection algorithms based on deep learning. Based on the yolov5 algorithm, the RepVGG network structure is introduced, 3*3 convolution is combined with ReLU, a training time model with multi-branch topology is adopted, and the inference time is reduced through layer merging. To improve algorithm detection speed, the SK attention mechanism is introduced to improve the receptive field of the convolution kernel to obtain more information and improve accuracy. In addition, Adaptive NMS is replaced by Adaptive NMS, the dynamic suppression strategy is adopted, and scores for learning density are set, which greatly improves the problems of missing detection and the false detection of small targets. Finally, the improved algorithm model is combined with membrane calculation to further improve the accuracy and speed of the algorithm. The target review has been proven to be able to predict the target user's rating of the target item. However, in practice, it is difficult to obtain the target review promptly. In addition, the target review and the rating may sometimes be inconsistent (such as preference reviews and low ratings). There is currently a lack of research on the above issues. Therefore, this paper proposed a Recommendation algorithm that Simulates the generation of target review semantics and fuses the ID Information (RSII). Specifically, based on the characteristics of the target review available during the model training, this paper designed a teacher module and a review semantics learning module. The teacher module learned the semantics of the target review and guided the review semantics learning model to learn these semantics. Then, this study used the fusion module to dynamically fuse the target review semantics and the ID information, enriching the representation of predictive features, thereby, alleviating the problem of inconsistency between the target review and the rating. Finally, the RSII model was extensively tested on three public datasets. Maize diseases are reported to occur often, and are complicated and difficult to control, which seriously affects the yield and quality of maize. This paper proposes an improved YOLOv5n model incorporating a CA (Coordinate Attention) mechanism and STR (Swin Transformer) detection head, CTR_YOLOv5n, to identify common maize leaf spot, gray spot, and rust diseases in mobile applications. Based on the lightweight model YOLOv5n, the accuracy of the model is improved by adding a CA attention module, and the global information acquisition capability is enhanced by using TR2 as the detection head. The average recognition accuracy of the algorithm model can reach 95.2%, which is 2.8 percent higher than the original model, and the memory size is reduced to 5.1MB compared to 92.9MB of YOLOv5l, which is 94.5% smaller and meets the requirement of being light weight. Compared with SE, CBAM, and ECA, which are the mainstream attention mechanisms, the recognition effect we used is better and the accuracy is higher, achieving fast and accurate recognition of maize leaf diseases with fewer computational resources, providing new ideas and methods for real-time recognition of maize and other crop spots in mobile applications. As a hot topic in the field of library and information, the research on topic recognition and trend prediction has been paid close attention by academic circles. This paper uses a systematic literature review, bibliometric analyses and classification methods. Through a systematic literature review, 96 studies about topic identification and evolution prediction models are selected from the CNKI database. By using VOSviewer to conduct bibliometric analyses, the key research content and themes are revealed. Through the classification method, EXCEL is used to summarize models and algorithms used in the literature comprehensively. It is found that topic identification models and algorithms can be divided into four categories: ① Topic model based on LDA and related derivative models. ② Machine learning and deep learning methods. ③ Methods based on reference relation. ④ Text mining methods. Trend prediction models and algorithms mainly cover two categories: ① deep learning or machine learning models and algorithms based on time sequence; ② link prediction algorithms based on complex network. At the same time, we have also summarized the common index system involved in each study and the way to evaluate the effectiveness of the method, thus this paper comprehensively reveals the application progress in academic circles of topic identification and prediction models and algorithms from the last 10 years and beyond, based on the CNKI database. Visual tracking is a key research area in computer vision, as tracking technology is increasingly being applied in daily life, it has high-research significance. Visual tracking technology usually faces various challenging interference factors, among which, a similar background is one of the factors that has a greater impact on the tracking process. Kernelized Correlation Filter (KCF) tracking algorithm can track targets quickly by using circulant matrix, and has good tracking effect, so it is widely used in the tracking field. However, when the target is interfered by similar objects, the filter template in KCF cannot effectively distinguish between the target and the interfering object. This is because the filter only uses the texture gradient feature as the description object of the target, which will make the KCF algorithm extremely sensitive to the change of the target; therefore, the filter has difficultly making a judgment in the unstable scene, cannot accurately describe the target state, and finally leads to tracking failure. Therefore, this paper fuses Color Names (CN) on the basis of the original Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) feature of KCF, which can obtain a more comprehensive feature representation, and realize the application of combined features to improve the anti-interference ability of KCF in complex scenes. In addition, this paper also uses the peak response of correlation filtering as the judgment condition to determine whether the current tracking result is stable. When the filter is in an unstable tracking state, the proposed algorithm will select the value with high confidence from its multiple responses as the candidate target of the Siamese network, and the deep learning network is used as the incremental learning method of the filter. The Channel Attention is introduced into the network layer, so that the network can adaptively reason and adjust the extracted universal features, and the enhanced feature information is used as the final discriminant basis. Finally, according to the response, the target with the smallest error compared with the target template is selected from multiple candidate targets as the final tracking result. The experimental results show that the average accuracy and average success rate of the proposed algorithm are significantly improved compared with the classical tracking algorithm, especially in dealing with similar target interference. Accurate detection of key body parts of cattle is of great significance to Precision Livestock Farming (PLF), using artificial intelligence for video analysis. As the background image in cattle livestock farms is complex and the target features of the cattle are not obvious, traditional object-detection algorithms cannot detect the key parts of the image with high precision. This paper proposes the Filter_Attention attention mechanism to detect the key parts of cattle. Since the image is unstable during training and initialization, particle noise is generated in the feature graph after convolution calculation. Therefore, this paper proposes an attentional mechanism based on bilateral filtering to reduce this interference. We also designed a Pooling_Module, based on the soft pooling algorithm, which facilitates information loss relative to the initial activation graph compared to maximum pooling. Our data set contained 1723 images of cattle, in which labels of the body, head, legs, and tail were manually entered. This dataset was divided into a training set, verification set, and test set at a ratio of 7:2:1 for training the model proposed in this paper. The detection effect of our proposed module is proven by the ablation experiment from mAP, the AP value, and the F1 value. This paper also compares other mainstream object detection algorithms. With the wave of artificial intelligence and deep learning sweeping the world, there are many algorithms based on deep learning for image defog research. However, there is still serious color distortion, contrast reduction, incomplete fog removal, and other problems. To solve these problems, this paper proposes an improved image defogging network based on the traditional cycle-consistent adversarial network. We add the self-attention module and atrous convolution multi-scale feature fusion module on the basis of the traditional CycleGAN network to enhance the feature extraction capability of the network. The perceptual loss function is introduced into the loss function of the model to enhance the texture sense of the generated image. Finally, by comparing several typical defogging algorithms, the superiority of the defogging model proposed in this paper is proved qualitatively and quantitatively. Among them, on the indoor synthetic data set, the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index Measurement (SSIM) of the network designed by us can reach 23.22 and 0.8809, respectively. On the outdoor synthetic data set, the PSNR and SSIM of our designed network can be as high as 25.72 and 0.8859, respectively. On the real data set, the PSNR and SSIM of our designed network can reach 21.02 and 0.8166, respectively. Helmet recognition algorithms based on deep learning aim to enable unmanned full-time detection and record violations such as failure to wear a helmet. However, in actual scenarios, weather and human factors can be complicated, which poses challenges for safety helmet detection. Camera shaking and head occlusion are common issues that can lead to inaccurate results and low availability. To address these practical problems, this paper proposes a novel helmet detection algorithm called DAAM-YOLOv5. The DAAM-YOLOv5 algorithm enriches the diversity of datasets under different weather conditions to improve the mAP of the model in corresponding scenarios by using Mosaic-9 data enhancement. Additionally, this paper introduces a novel dynamic anchor box mechanism, K-DAFS, into this algorithm and enhances the generation speed of the blocked target anchor boxes by using bidirectional feature fusion (BFF). Furthermore, by using an attention mechanism, this paper redistributes the weight of objects in a picture and appropriately reduces the model's sensitivity to the edge information of occluded objects through pooling. This approach improves the model's generalization ability, which aligns with practical application requirements. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, this paper adopts the region of interest (ROI) detection strategy and carries out experiments on specific, real datasets. Compared with traditional deep learning algorithms on the same datasets, our method effectively distinguishes helmet-wearing conditions even when head information is occluded and improves the detection speed of the model. Deep reinforcement learning is an artificial intelligence technology that combines deep learning and reinforcement learning and has been widely applied in multiple fields. As a type of deep reinforcement learning algorithm, the A3C (Asynchronous Advantage Actor-Critic) algorithm can effectively utilize computer resources and improve training efficiency by synchronously training Actor-Critic in multiple threads. Inspired by the excellent performance of the A3C algorithm, this paper uses the A3C algorithm to solve the UUV (Unmanned Underwater Vehicle) collision avoidance planning problem in unknown environments. This collision avoidance planning algorithm can have the ability to plan in real-time while ensuring a shorter path length, and the output action space can meet the kinematic constraints of UUVs. In response to the problem of UUV collision avoidance planning, this paper designs the state space, action space, and reward function. The simulation results show that the A3C collision avoidance planning algorithm can guide a UUV to avoid obstacles and reach the preset target point. Machine learning-based malware (malicious software) detection methods have a wide range of real-world applications. However, these types of approaches suffer from the fatal problem of "model aging", in which the validity of the model decreases rapidly as the malware continues to evolve and variants emerge continuously. The model aging problem is usually solved by model retraining, which relies on lots of labeled samples obtained at great expense. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a semi-supervised continuous learning malware detection model based on Transformer. Firstly, this model improves the lifelong semi-supervised mixture algorithm to dynamically adjust the weighted combination of new sample sequences and historical ones to solve the imbalance problem. Secondly, the Learning with Local and Global Consistency algorithm is used to iteratively compute similarity scores for the unlabeled samples in the mixed samples to obtain pseudo-labels. Lastly, the Multilayer Perceptron is applied for malware classification. To validate the effectiveness of the model, this paper conducts experiments on the CICMalDroid2020 dataset. The experimental results show that the proposed model performs better than existing deep learning detection models. The F1 score has an average improvement of 1.27% compared to other models when conducting binary classification. In some fire classification task samples, it is especially important to learn and select limited features. Therefore, enhancing shallow characteristic learning and accurately reserving deep characteristics play a decisive role in the final fire classification task. In this paper, we propose an integrated algorithm based on bidirectional characteristics and feature selection for fire image classification called BCFS-Net. This algorithm is integrated from two modules, a bidirectional characteristics module and feature selection module; hence, it is called an integrated algorithm. The main process of this algorithm is as follows: First, we construct a bidirectional convolution module to obtain multiple sets of bidirectional traditional convolutions and dilated convolutions for the feature mining and learning shallow features. Then, we improve the Inception V3 module. By utilizing the bidirectional attention mechanism and Euclidean distance, feature points with greater correlation between the feature maps generated by convolutions in the Inception V3 module are selected. Next, we comprehensively consider and integrate feature points with richer semantic information from multiple dimensions. Finally, we use convolution to further learn the deep features and complete the final fire classification task. We validated the feasibility of our proposed algorithm in three sets of public fire datasets, and the overall accuracy value in the BoWFire dataset reached 88.9%. Many security detectors do not have the ability to output individual luggage package images and are not compatible with deep learning algorithms. In this paper, a luggage package extraction of X-ray images based on the ES-MBD (Edge Sensitive Multi-channel Background Difference Algorithm) method is proposed, which is aiming at the problem that background difference binarization is insensitive to texture features and edge detection binarization is insensitive to smooth areas. In this method, X-ray luggage package images from complex original video images are used as a key target, the RGB three-channel background difference is calculated from the original X-ray image, the edge detection of the grayscale map is performed using the Sobel operator optimized by local gradient enhancement, and the morphological expansion process is performed on the combined results to obtain the complete wrapping target. The Suzuki algorithm is used to detect the outline of the binarized package image, match the package frame area and determine the key target. The ES-MBD method solves the problem of information loss in the traditional binarization method, and retains the information of insensitive regions while reducing noise. Through experimental comparison, the accuracy of ES-MBD binarization method reaches 97.3%, the recall rate reaches 96.5%, and ES-MBD method has obvious advantages in key target extraction of X-ray images. Environmental effects may lead to cracking, stiffness loss, brace damage, and other damages in bridges, frame structures, buildings, etc. Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) technology could prevent catastrophic events by detecting damage early. In recent years, Deep Learning (DL) has developed rapidly and has been applied to SHM to detect, localize, and evaluate diverse damages through efficient feature extraction. This paper analyzes 337 articles through a systematic literature review to investigate the application of DL for SHM in the operation and maintenance phase of facilities from three perspectives: data, DL algorithms, and applications. Firstly, the data types in SHM and the corresponding collection methods are summarized and analyzed. The most common data types are vibration signals and images, accounting for 80% of the literature studied. Secondly, the popular DL algorithm types and application areas are reviewed, of which CNN accounts for 60%. Then, this article carefully analyzes the specific functions of DL application for SHM based on the facility's characteristics. The most scrutinized study focused on cracks, accounting for 30 percent of research papers. Finally, challenges and trends in applying DL for SHM are discussed. Among the trends, the Structural Health Monitoring Digital Twin (SHMDT) model framework is suggested in response to the trend of strong coupling between SHM technology and Digital Twin (DT), which can advance the digitalization, visualization, and intelligent management of SHM. This paper proposes a multimodal fusion 3D target detection algorithm based on the attention mechanism to improve the performance of 3D target detection. The algorithm utilizes point cloud data and information from the camera. For image feature extraction, the ResNet50 + FPN architecture extracts features at four levels. Point cloud feature extraction employs the voxel method and FCN to extract point and voxel features. The fusion of image and point cloud features is achieved through regional point fusion and voxel fusion methods. After information fusion, the Coordinate and SimAM attention mechanisms extract fusion features at a deep level. The algorithm's performance is evaluated using the DAIR-V2X dataset. The results show that compared to the Part-A2 algorithm; the proposed algorithm improves the mAP value by 7.9% in the BEV view and 7.8% in the 3D view at IOU = 0.5 (cars) and IOU = 0.25 (pedestrians and cyclists). At IOU = 0.7 (cars) and IOU = 0.5 (pedestrians and cyclists), the mAP value of the SECOND algorithm is improved by 5.4% in the BEV view and 4.3% in the 3D view, compared to other comparison algorithms. Small target features are difficult to distinguish and identify in an environment with complex backgrounds. The identification and extraction of multi-dimensional features have been realized due to the rapid development of deep learning, but there are still redundant relationships between features, reducing feature recognition accuracy. Chip pad inspection is of great practical importance for chip alignment inspection and correction. It is one of the key technologies for automated chip inspection in semiconductor manufacturing. When applying deep learning methods for chip pad inspection, the main problem to be solved is how to ensure the accuracy of small target pad detection and, at the same time, achieve a lightweight inspection model. The attention mechanism is widely used to improve the accuracy of small target detection by finding the attention region of the network. However, conventional attention mechanisms capture feature information locally, which makes it difficult to effectively improve the detection efficiency of small targets from complex backgrounds in target detection tasks. In this paper, an OCAM (Object Convolution Attention Module) attention module is proposed to build long-range dependencies between channel features and position features by constructing feature contextual relationships to enhance the correlation between features. By adding the OCAM attention module to the feature extraction layer of the YOLOv5 network, the detection performance of chip pads is effectively improved. In addition, a design guideline for the attention layer is proposed in the paper. The attention layer is adjusted by network scaling to avoid network characterization bottlenecks, balance network parameters, and network detection performance, and reduce the hardware device requirements for the improved YOLOv5 network in practical scenarios. Extensive experiments on chip pad datasets, VOC datasets, and COCO datasets show that the approach in this paper is more general and superior to several state-of-the-art methods. The trajectory data of aircraft, ships, and so on, can be analyzed to obtain valuable information. Clustering is the basic technology of trajectory analysis, and the feature extraction process is one of the decisive factors for clustering performance. Trajectory features can be divided into two categories: spatial features and temporal features. In mainstream algorithms, spatial features are represented by latitude and longitude coordinates. However, such algorithms are only suitable for trajectories where spatial features are tightly coupled with latitude and longitude. When the same types of trajectories are in different latitude and longitude ranges or there are transformations such as rotation, scaling, and so on, this kind of algorithm is infeasible. Therefore, this paper proposes a spatio-temporal feature trajectory clustering algorithm based on deep learning. In this algorithm, the extraction process of the trajectory spatial shape feature is designed based on image matching technology, and the extracted spatial features are combined with the trajectory temporal features to improve the clustering performance. The experimental results on simulated and real datasets show that the algorithm can effectively extract the trajectory spatial shape features and that the clustering effect of the fused spatio-temporal feature is better than that of a single feature. Infrared small target detection technology plays a crucial role in various fields such as military reconnaissance, power patrol, medical diagnosis, and security. The advancement of deep learning has led to the success of convolutional neural networks in target segmentation. However, due to challenges like small target scales, weak signals, and strong background interference in infrared images, convolutional neural networks often face issues like leakage and misdetection in small target segmentation tasks. To address this, an enhanced U-Net method called MST-UNet is proposed, the method combines multi-scale feature decomposition and fusion and attention mechanisms. The method involves using Haar wavelet transform instead of maximum pooling for downsampling in the encoder to minimize feature loss and enhance feature utilization. Additionally, a multi-scale residual unit is introduced to extract contextual information at different scales, improving sensory field and feature expression. The inclusion of a triple attention mechanism in the encoder structure further enhances multidimensional information utilization and feature recovery by the decoder. Experimental analysis on the NUDT-SIRST dataset demonstrates that the proposed method significantly improves target contour accuracy and segmentation precision, achieving IoU and nIoU values of 80.09% and 80.19%, respectively. Simple Summary: Breast cancer is a significant cause of female cancer-related deaths in the US. Checking how severe the cancer is helps in planning treatment. Modern AI methods are good at grading cancer, but they are not used much in hospitals yet. We developed and utilized ensemble deep learning algorithms for addressing the tasks of classifying (1) breast cancer subtype and (2) breast cancer invasiveness from whole slide image (WSI) histopathology slides. The ensemble models used were based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) known for extracting distinctive features crucial for accurate classification. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive analysis of these models and the used methodology for breast cancer diagnosis tasks. Cancer diagnosis and classification are pivotal for effective patient management and treatment planning. In this study, a comprehensive approach is presented utilizing ensemble deep learning techniques to analyze breast cancer histopathology images. Our datasets were based on two widely employed datasets from different centers for two different tasks: BACH and BreakHis. Within the BACH dataset, a proposed ensemble strategy was employed, incorporating VGG16 and ResNet50 architectures to achieve precise classification of breast cancer histopathology images. Introducing a novel image patching technique to preprocess a high-resolution image facilitated a focused analysis of localized regions of interest. The annotated BACH dataset encompassed 400 WSIs across four distinct classes: Normal, Benign, In Situ Carcinoma, and Invasive Carcinoma. In addition, the proposed ensemble was used on the BreakHis dataset, utilizing VGG16, ResNet34, and ResNet50 models to classify microscopic images into eight distinct categories (four benign and four malignant). For both datasets, a five-fold cross-validation approach was employed for rigorous training and testing. Preliminary experimental results indicated a patch classification accuracy of 95.31% (for the BACH dataset) and WSI image classification accuracy of 98.43% (BreakHis). Ship detection and identification play pivotal roles in ensuring navigation safety and facilitating efficient maritime traffic management. Aiming at ship detection in complex environments, which often faces problems such as the dense occlusion of ship targets, low detection accuracy, and variable environmental conditions, in this paper, we propose a ship detection algorithm CSD-YOLO (Context guided block module, Slim-neck, Deformable large kernel attention-You Only Look Once) based on the deformable large kernel attention (D-LKA) mechanism, which was improved based on YOLOv8 to enhance its performance. This approach integrates several innovations to bolster its performance. Initially, the utilization of the Context Guided Block module (CG block) enhanced the c2f module of the backbone network, thereby augmenting the feature extraction capabilities and enabling a more precise capture of the key image information. Subsequently, the introduction of a novel neck architecture and the incorporation of the slim-neck module facilitated more effective feature fusion, thereby enhancing both the accuracy and efficiency of detection. Furthermore, the algorithm incorporates a D-LKA mechanism to dynamically adjust the convolution kernel shape and size, thereby enhancing the model's adaptability to varying ship target shapes and sizes. To address data scarcity in complex marine environments, the experiments utilized a fused dataset comprising the SeaShips dataset and a proprietary dataset. The experimental results demonstrate that the CSD-YOLO algorithm outperformed the YOLOv8n algorithm across all model evaluation metrics. Specifically, the precision rate (precision) was 91.5%, the recall rate (recall) was 89.5%, and the mean accuracy (mAP) was 91.5%. Compared to the benchmark algorithm, the Recall was improved by 0.7% and the mAP was improved by 0.4%.
