By introducing the BHT algorithm into the slide attack on 1K-AES and the related-key attack on PRINCE, we present the corresponding quantum attacks in this paper. In the proposed quantum attacks, we generalize the BHT algorithm to the situation where the number of marked items is unknown ahead of time. Moreover, we give an implementation scheme of classifier oracle based on Quantum Phase Estimation algorithm in presented quantum attacks. The complexity analysis shows that the query complexity, time complexity and memory complexity of the presented quantum attacks are all |$\mathcal{O}(2^{n/3})$| when the success probability is about |$63\%$|⁠ , where |$n$| is the block size. Compared with the corresponding classical attacks, the proposed quantum attacks can achieve subquadratic speed-up under the same success probability no matter on query complexity, time complexity or memory complexity. Furthermore, the query complexity of the proposed quantum slide attack on 1K-AES is less than Grover search on 1K-AES by a factor of |$2^{n/6}.$| When compared with the Grover search on PRINCE, the query complexity of the presented quantum attack on PRINCE is reduced from |$\mathcal{O}(2^{n})$| to |$\mathcal{O}(2^{n/2}).$| When compared with the combination of Grover and Simon's algorithms on PRINCE, the query complexity of our quantum attack on PRINCE is reduced from |$\mathcal{O}(n\cdot 2^{n/2})$| to |$\mathcal{O}(2^{n/2}).$| Besides, the proposed quantum slide attack on 1K-AES indicates that the quantum slide attack could also be applied on Substitution-Permutation Network construction, apart from the iterated Even-Mansour cipher and Feistel constructions. Sternal cleft is a rare thoracic deformity, often associated with congenital heart disease, which requires simultaneous treatment. There are many methods for treatment of sternal cleft, the early effect may be satisfactory, but the late effect is rarely reported. We performed a simultaneous operation on a patient with sternal cleft and ventricular septal defect, but the patient developed secondary depression deformity after the operation. Cardiac surgery is usually completed through the median sternotomy. If the sternum is not fixed firmly after the operation, it may lead to secondary thoracic deformities. The most common deformity after operation is pectus carinatum, and the relatively less common deformity is pectus excavatum, but the compound thoracic deformity has not been reported. We met a 3-year-old boy who underwent surgery for congenital ventricular septal defect at the age of 1. He developed a severe compound thoracic deformity after surgery. After the failure of Nuss procedure for pectus excavatum, the risk of reoperation is high, and it is difficult and challenging. Recently, we performed the reoperation for a patient who had failed Nuss procedure 10 years ago. Pectus carinatum can be treated with a single minimally invasive surgery, but the severe cases will appear secondary depression after treatment, which needs to be corrected additionally. Wang procedure for pectus excavatum is a simple and safe surgery. However, improper operation may lead to failure of the surgery. Asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy may affect the development of multiple organs of the body, so these kinds of patients are usually short and thin. We met a 16-year-old female patient whose development exceeded the normal level. Although she was only 16 years old, her height was 167 cm and her weight was 71 Kg. Such development is extremely rare for this kind of patient, and there is no similar report in the previous literature. Comparatively, her thorax was narrow and small, and the ratio of thorax to trunk was uncoordinated, which made her situation particularly serious. We adopted Wenlin procedure combined with Wang procedure for correction. Empyema often leads to secondary thoracic deformity, but it has not been treated before. In order to eliminate the harm of this deformity, we adopted simultaneous surgery to treat empyema and secondary deformity. Several operations for asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy (ATD) have been used previously, but they all have disadvantages. We report a 25-year-old male ATD patient who had significant depressions on both sides of thorax. We designed a special operation for him, which had not only eliminated the depression, but also increased the volume of the thorax. Background Infliximab (IFX) is the first-line treatment for patients with Crohn's disease (CD) and is noted for its relatively high cost. The therapeutic efficacy of IFX has noticeable individual differences. Known single-gene polymorphisms (SNPs) are inadequate for predicting non-response to IFX. In this study, we aimed to identify new genetic factors associated with IFX-therapy failure and to predict non-response to IFX by developing a multivariate predictive model. Methods In this retrospective study, we collected and analysed the data of Chinese patients with CD who received IFX therapy at one hospital between June 2013 and June 2019. Primary non-response (PNR) and non-durable response (NDR) were evaluated using a simple endoscopic score for CD (SES-CD). A total of 125 SNPs within 44 genes were genotyped. A multivariate logistic-regression model was established to predict non-response to IFX. An area-under-the-receiver-operating-characteristics curve (AUROC) was applied to evaluate the predictive model performance. Results Forty-two of 206 (20.4%) patients experienced PNR and 15 of 159 (9.4%) patients experienced NDR. Nine SNPs were associated with PNR (P  < 0.05). A PNR predictive model was established, incorporating 2-week high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), rs61886887, rs61740234, rs357291, rs2269330, and rs111504845, and the AUROC on training and testing data sets were 0.818 (P  < 0.001) and 0.888 (P  < 0.001), respectively. At week 14, hs-CRP levels ≥ 2.25 mg/L were significantly associated with NDR (AUROC = 0.815, P  < 0.001). PNR-associated SNPs were not mutually associated with NDR, suggesting distinct mechanisms between PNR and NDR. There are several surgical techniques for asphyxiating Thoracic Dystrophy (ATD), and various techniques have various indications, but no one has studied this problem in the past. Background To investigate the imaging anatomy and variations of bilateral adrenal veins to improve the success rate during adrenal venous sampling (AVS) and reduce the incidence of complications. Methods A total of 120 patients who underwent AVS from June 2017 to January 2019 were collected. RadiAnt Viewer software was used to retrospectively analyze the intraoperative imaging data, intraoperative anatomical variation data, the success rate, and complications of AVS. Results The ostium of the right adrenal vein was located mainly between the lower 1/3 of the 11th thoracic vertebra and the middle 1/3 of the 12th thoracic vertebra, accounting for 75.5% of the cases. Most of the ostium (83.3%) was transversely distributed between 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock. The main morphology of the right adrenal venography was a triangular pattern (48.2%). As the body mass index increased, the ostium was higher, and the distance between the ostium and the spine was greater (P < 0.05). The success rate of the right AVS, the left AVS, and the bilateral AVS was 95.0%, 97.5%, and 92.5%, respectively. The anatomical variation rate of the right adrenal vein was 5.3%. All cases showed that the right adrenal vein entered the accessory right hepatic vein and then into the inferior vena cava. The anatomical variation rate of the left adrenal vein was 4.3%. Conclusions Body mass index can be used to predict the location of the right adrenal vein ostium.
