Background: Radiotherapy interruption (RTI) prolongs the overall total treatment time and leads to local control loss in many cancers, but it is unclear in esophageal cancer. We aimed to evaluate the influence of RTI on the overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), and local-regional recurrence-free survival (LRFS) of patients with esophageal cancer undergoing chemoradiotherapy. Methods: A total of 299 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma from 2017 to 2019 were retrospectively analyzed to investigate the effect of RTI on OS, PFS, and LRFS. The delayed time of radiotherapy interruption was calculated as the actual radiation treatment time minus the scheduled time. The univariate and multivariate analyses were performed by the COX proportional hazards regression models, and the survival analysis was performed through the Kaplan‒Meier method, and compared with the log-rank test. Results: The 3-year OS, PFS, and LRFS rates were 53.0%, 42.0%, and 48.0%, respectively. The univariate and multivariate analyses showed that the delayed time > 3 days was an independent adverse prognostic factor for OS (HR = 1.68, 95% CI 1.10–2.55, p = 0.016), and LRFS (HR = 1.74, 95% CI 1.18–2.57, p = 0.006). The patient with a delayed time of > 3 days had poorer survival rates of OS, and LRFS than patients with a delayed time of ≤ 3 days (OS, p = 0.047; LRFS, p = 0.013), and the survival outcomes of patients with shorter delayed time (1–3 days) were slightly different from the patients without interruptions. The impact of delay time on PFS is not statistically significant, but the survival outcomes of the two groups were slightly different. Conclusion: There was a significant correlation between delayed time and local control of esophageal cancer. Background: Depression is a common chronic debilitating disease with a heavy social burden. single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) can affect the function of microRNAs (miRNAs), which is in turn associated with neurological diseases. However, the association between SNPs located in the promoter region of miR-17-92 and the risk of depression remains unclear. Therefore, we investigated the association between rs982873, rs9588884 and rs1813389 polymorphisms in the promoter region of miR-17-92 and the incidence of depression in a Chinese population. Methods: we used GWAS (Genome-wide association study) and NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information) to screen three SNPs in the miR-17-92 cluster binding sites. A case-control study (including 555 cases and 541 controls) was conducted to investigate the relationship between the SNPs and risk of depression in different regions of China. The gene sequencing ii was used to genotype the collected blood samples. Results: the following genotypes were significantly associated with a reduced risk of depression: rs982873 TC (TC vs. TT: OR = 0.72, 95% CI, 0.54–0.96, P = 0.024; TC/CC vs. TT: OR = 0.74, 95% Cl, 0.56–0.96, P = 0.025); CG genotype of rs9588884 (CG vs. CC: OR = 0.74, 95% CI, 0.55–0.98, P = 0.033; CG/GG vs. CC: OR = 0.75, 95% Cl, 0.57–0.98, P = 0.036); and AG genotype of rs1813389 (AG vs. AA: OR = 0.75, 95% CI, 0.57-1.00, P = 0.049; AG/GG vs. AA: OR = 0.76, 95% Cl, 0.59-1.00, P = 0.047). Stratified analysis showed that there was no significant correlation between the three SNPS and variables such as family history of suicidal tendency (P > 0.05). Background: Sparganosis is a worldwide food-borne parasitic disease caused by spargana infection, which infects the muscle of frogs and snakes as well as many tissues and organs in humans. There are currently no viable treatments for sparganosis. Understanding spargana's nutrition source and carbohydrate metabolism may be crucial for identifying its energy supply and establishing methods of treatment for sparganosis. Methods: Using an amino acid analyzer and nutrient concentration detection kits, we assessed nutrient concentrations in the muscles of Fejervarya limnocharis and Pelophylax plancyi infected or not infected with spargana. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to quantify the major enzymes involved in five glucose metabolism pathways of spargana developing in vivo. We also used quantitative PCR to assess key enzymes and transcriptome sequencing to explore the regulation of carbohydrate metabolic pathways in vitro in response to different 24-h food treatments. Results: Infected muscle tissues had considerably higher concentrations of glucogenic and/or ketogenic amino acids, glucose, and glycogen than non-infected muscle tissues. We discovered that the number of differentially expressed genes in Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis was larger in low-glucose than in other dietary groups. We examined differences in the expression of genes producing amino acid transporters, glucose transporters, and cathepsins in spargana grown in various nutritional environments. In the normal saline group, only the major enzymes in the tricarboxylic acid cycle (TCA), glycogenesis, and glycogenolysis pathways were expressed. The l-glutamine group had the greatest transcriptional levels of critical rate-limiting enzymes of gluconeogenesis and glycogenesis. Furthermore, the low-glucose group had the highest transcriptional levels of critical rate-limiting enzymes involved in the TCA, glycolytic, and glycogenolysis pathways. Surprisingly, when compared to the in vitro culturing groups, spargana developing in vivo exhibited higher expression of these critical rate-limiting enzymes in these pathways, with the exception of the pentose phosphate pathway. Conclusions: Spargana have a variety of nutritional sources, and there is a close relationship between nutrients and the carbohydrate metabolism pathways. Background: Low-frequency noise may cause changes in cognitive function. However, there is no established consensus on the effect of low-frequency noise on cognitive function. Therefore, this systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to explore the relationship between low-frequency noise exposure and cognitive function. Methods: We conducted a systematic review and identified original studies written in English on low-frequency noise and cognition published before December 2022 using the PsycINFO, PubMed, Medline, and Web of Science databases. The risk of bias was evaluated according to established guidelines. A random-effects meta-analysis was performed where appropriate. To explore the association between low-frequency noise exposure and cognitive function, we reviewed eight relevant studies. These studies covered cognitive functions grouped into four domains: attention, executive function, memory, and higher-order cognitive functions. The data extraction process was followed by a random-effects meta-analysis for each domain, which allowed us to quantify the overall effect. Results: Our analysis of the selected studies suggested that interventions involving low-frequency noise only had a negative impact on higher-order cognitive functions (Z = 2.42, p = 0.02), with a standardized mean difference of -0.37 (95% confidence interval: -0.67, -0.07). A moderate level of heterogeneity was observed among studies (p = 0.24, I2 = 29%, Tau2 = 0.03). Conclusions: Our study findings suggest that low-frequency noise can negatively impact higher-order cognitive functions, such as logical reasoning, mathematical calculation, and data processing. Therefore, it becomes important to consider the potential negative consequences of low-frequency noise in everyday situations, and proactive measures should be taken to address this issue and mitigate the associated potential adverse outcomes. Chinese citrus fly, Bactrocera minax (Enderlein; Diptera: Tephritidae), which attacks citrus fruits in China is one of the most important international quarantine pests. Understanding the function of visual organs is the basis of trapping and prevention for management of pests such as B. minax. In this study, take-off ability and crawling experiments were conducted using 5 groups of B. minax all with different visual blinding treatments (blind ocelli, blind left compound eye, blind right compound eye, blind compound eyes, blind ocelli and compound eyes) and a corresponding control that was not blinded. We found that both the left and right compound eyes played a critical role in the vertical and horizontal crawling behavior of B. minax, while the ocelli did not. However, the perception of ambient light by ocelli or either compound eye had a significant influence on take-off of B. minax. Elucidating the monocular and compound eye functions of B. minax will help us to develop better visual traps for this important pest of citrus. We conducted a scoping review to examine the barriers and facilitators accessing Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae testing among female sex workers. A literature search was conducted in Embase, Medline, and Web of Science for studies published from the date of creation of database to 17 March 2023, without restrictions for publication date. We used thematic synthesis to identify common affecting factors across included studies and then linked them into categories of the socioecological framework. Among the 14 articles included, 3 utilized qualitative methods, 7 utilized quantitative surveys, 2 were mixed methods, and 2 were randomized controlled trials. Several important affecting factors stood out during this review, including stigma and discrimination, as well as social support at the societal level, and financial costs at the service level. This review suggested that interventions on addressing societal- and service-level determinants are needed, which includes reducing stigma and discrimination toward sex work and cost for facility testing, as well as increasing social support and community engagement. Large-volume waste products, such as refrigerators and automobiles, not only consume resources but also pollute the environment easily. A two-sided disassembly line is the most effective method to deal with large-volume waste products. How to reduce disassembly costs while increasing profit has emerged as an important and challenging research topic. Existing studies ignore the diversity of waste products as well as uncertain factors such as corrosion and deformation of parts, which is inconsistent with the actual disassembly scenario. In this paper, a partial destructive mode is introduced into the mixed-model two-sided disassembly line balancing problem, and the mathematical model of the problem is established. The model seeks to comprehensively optimize the number of workstations, the smoothness index, and the profit. In order to obtain a high-quality disassembly scheme, an improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II (NSGA-II) is proposed. The proposed model and algorithm are then applied to an automobile disassembly line as an engineering illustration. The disassembly scheme analysis demonstrates that the partial destructive mode can raise the profit of a mixed-model two-sided disassembly line. Karst bauxite is a major source of aluminum and contains high concentrations of trace elements such as Li, Ga, Sc, and rare earth elements (REEs). It is regarded as a potential non-conventional REE source due to the increasing demand for REEs. This study provides new mineralogical and geochemical evidence of a Lindai bauxite deposit in central Guizhou Province, aiming to analyze the genesis of REE minerals and reveal the forms of REEs occurring in these deposits. The results indicate that a large number of detrital and authigenic rare-earth phosphate minerals, including monazite and xenotime, were identified. In terms of their genesis, the authigenic monazite was mainly precipitated under alkaline and reducing conditions, whereas the authigenic xenotime was formed in acidic and reducing conditions. The mineralogical evidence detected by scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectrometry (SEM-EDS) and a TESCAN Integrated Mineral Analyzer (TIMA) suggests that the REEs in the Lindai bauxite exhibit multiple forms, including rare-earth phosphate minerals (monazite and xenotime) and REE scavenging by hematite and anatase phases. Among them, the anatase controls some LREE (such as La, Ce, and Pr) distributions in addition to monazite, whereas the hematite also controls relatively large amounts of Sm, Eu, and HREE (such as Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, and Lu) distributions. According to the calculation of the percentage of REE-bearing mineral phases obtained by a TIMA analysis, REE scavenging by hematite accounted for 93.28% of all forms of REEs, REE scavenging by anatase accounted for 5.88%, monazite accounted for 0.67%, and xenotime accounted for 0.17%. Background: Depression is among the most common psychiatric disorders, and is a leading cause of the global disease burden. Its pathophysiological mechanism is unclear, which limits the development of therapeutic strategies. Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPS) may be related. In this study, we aimed to determine the effects of the rs2242385, rs155979, rs3762983, and rs3762984 polymorphisms in the lncRNA NONHSAT102891 on depression susceptibility in a Chinese population. Methods: We conducted a case-control study in a cohort of 480 patients with depression and 329 healthy controls, and performed genotyping by gene sequencing ii. Results: The rs155979 GC genotype was significantly associated with increased risk of depression compared with healthy controls. Stratified analysis showed a 2.08-fold increased risk of suicide in patients with rs155979 GC or GG genotype. The rs2242385, rs3762983, and rs3762984 polymorphisms were not significantly associated with the risk of depression. Haploid analysis showed linkage disequilibrium between rs155979, rs3762983, and rs3762984, and the CCG haplotype reduced the risk of depression. Limitations: The study sample was relatively small, and was restricted to patients from central and southern China. Further, only peripheral blood was used for DNA extraction. Conclusion: The rs155979 polymorphism may be associated with the occurrence of depression in the Chinese population. Rapid extraction of liquefaction induced by strong earthquakes is helpful for earthquake intensity assessment and earthquake emergency response. Supervised classification methods are potentially more accurate and do not need pre-earthquake images. However, the current supervised classification methods depend on the precisely delineated polygons of liquefaction by manual and landcover maps. To overcome these shortcomings, this study proposed two binary classification methods (i.e., random forest and gradient boosting decision tree) based on typical samples. The proposed methods trained the two machine learning methods with different numbers of typical samples, then used the trained binary classification methods to extract the spatial distribution of liquefaction. Finally, a morphological transformation method was used for the postprocessing of the extracted liquefaction. The recognition accuracies of liquefaction were estimated by four evaluation indices, which all showed a score of about 90%. The spatial distribution of liquefaction pits is also consistent with the formation principle of liquefaction. This study demonstrates that the proposed binary classification methods based on machine learning could efficiently and quickly provide the spatial distribution of liquefaction based on post-earthquake emergency satellite images. Many-objective optimization problems (MaOPs) are challenging tasks involving optimizing many conflicting objectives simultaneously. Decomposition-based many-objective evolutionary algorithms have effectively maintained a balance between convergence and diversity in recent years. However, these algorithms face challenges in accurately approximating the complex geometric structure of irregular Pareto fronts (PFs). In this paper, an information entropy-driven evolutionary algorithm based on reinforcement learning (RL-RVEA) for many-objective optimization with irregular Pareto fronts is proposed. The proposed algorithm leverages reinforcement learning to guide the evolution process by interacting with the environment to learn the shape and features of PF, which adaptively adjusts the distribution of reference vectors to cover the PFs structure effectively. Moreover, an information entropy-driven adaptive scalarization approach is designed in this paper to reflect the diversity of nondominated solutions, which facilitates the algorithm to balance multiple competing objectives adaptively and select solutions efficiently while maintaining individual diversity. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, the RL-RVEA compared with seven state-of-the-art algorithms on the DTLZ, MaF, and WFG test suites and four real-world MaOPs. We present a twin-propelled wall-climbing robot that can stably adsorb and move quickly on a vertical wall by exploiting the propeller's reverse thrust as the adsorption force and the wheel as the movement method. This paper derives and theoretically analyses the aerodynamic characteristics of the twin-propelled wall-climbing mobile robot system exploiting the momentum inflow model and blade element theory and measures the reverse thrust of a single propeller through real-world experiments. Additionally, Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation software analyzes the influence of structural parameters, such as the lateral spacing of the twin-propeller fixed plate, the width of the fixed-rotor plate, and the inclination angle of the double-rotor on the airflow around the robot. Experiments on the adsorption and movement performance of the dual-rotor wall-climbing robot on a vertical wall demonstrate that the designed twin-propelled wall-climbing robot can stably adsorb and move on a vertical wall. Litopenaeus vannamei easily blackens during cold storage. To inhibit blackening and improve the storage quality of prawns, in this study, konjac glucomman (KGM)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) topological microgel was formed and used for storage and preservation of prawns to improve their antioxidant properties. The effect of KGM-EGCG topological microgel on inhibiting shrimp blackening was studied by measuring the sensory evaluation score, pH value, TVB-N value, K value, PPO activity, and the effect of changes in the total number of bacteria of KGM-EGCG-treated prawns during storage. SEM and FTIR results showed that during the KGM-EGCG binding process, the number of hydrogen bond connections and the intermolecular force increased. Results also showed that the KGM microgel can effectively embed EGCG and enhance its stability to achieve a better controlled release effect. Compared with the EGCG group and untreated group, KGM-EGCG microgel has better anti-PPO activity and can better maintain the organoleptic quality and inhibit bacterial growth of Litopenaeus vannamei. Therefore, the KGM-EGCG microgel could slow down the increase in pH value, the production of volatile base nitrogen, and the increase in K value, and effectively extend the shelf life of Litopenaeus vannamei from 3 d to 6 d, providing a theoretical basis for the research of KGM functional gel and a reference for the deep processing and value enhancement of green tea and shrimp. Spatial prediction is essential for obtaining the spatial distribution of geographic variables and selecting appropriate covariates for this process can be challenging, especially for non-expert users. For easing the burden of selecting the appropriate covariates, two case-based reasoning strategies, namely the most-similar-case and covariate-classification strategies, have been proposed for automated covariate selection. The former may suggest nonessential covariates due to its case-level reasoning way. And the latter with covariate-level reasoning may overlook related covariates and recommend fewer covariates than the case-level reasoning. In this study, we propose a new strategy of integrating case-level and covariate-level reasoning to effectively leverage the strengths of both previous strategies while also addressing their limitations. The proposed strategy is validated through a case study of automatically selecting covariates for digital soil mapping under reasoning with a case base containing 189 cases. In aim to study the influence of circulating ash used as heat carrier and dolomite used as catalyst on mercury transition during the step conversion of coal pyrolysis and combustion, five experiments with different operating conditions were conducted in this study, including four pyrolysis experiments of raw coal, coal/ash, coal/dolomite, coal and ash/dolomite, and combustion experiment of pyrolysis solid product. By changing the experimental conditions including final pyrolysis temperature, heating rate, coal-ash ratio and dolomite type, the transition path and final mercury distribution in the step conversion process were comprehensively analyzed. Experiments results indicated that mercury completely released out from coal when the final pyrolysis temperature was 600 °C. The individual addition of ash could promote the mercury release from coal at lower temperature. Dolomite could catalyze the oxidation of Hg0 in gas phase, and the modified dolomite had better catalytic capacity for Hg0 oxidation than natural dolomite. The addition of circulating ash and natural dolomite both had a certain catalytic effect on Hg0 emission peaks during the coal pyrolysis. Increasing the coal-ash ratio was conducive to the oxidation of Hg0 in pyrolysis gas. During the direct combustion of coal, the content of Hg0 released into the gas phase could reach to 69.97%. By adding ash, ash/natural dolomite and ash/modified dolomite to the coal pyrolysis process, the content of Hg0 in pyrolysis gas decreased to 58.99%, 34.77% and 31.30%, respectively. The research is able to offer the theoretical foundation for mercury contaminants' removal and process optimization of the step conversion technology. • Ash heat carrier can promote the release of mercury in coal at lower temperatures. • Fe 2 O 3 has the strongest catalysis ability towards Hg0. • Dolomite and circulating ash have a synergistic effect on Hg0 oxidation. • The step conversion process greatly reduces the treatment pressure of mercury. Loess deposits as a unique terrestrial archive of paleo-dust contribute to understanding the wide-scale and long-term dust transport from source to sink. This study provided diagnostic constraints on the sources of clay-sized particles in the Chinese Loess Plateau (CLP) loess by expanding the potential dust source areas with the Kyzylkum Desert and the Central Asian loess. Based on the grain sizes and the particle-size-specific trace elements, we characterized the major provenance and the sedimentary process of the Kyzylkum Desert sands. The results indicate the main derivation of Kyzylkum Desert sands from the Tian Shan-derived sediments, with limited large-scale mixing. The desert was thought to be a sink region, instead of an important dust source, which was supported by its weak genetic links to the Central Asian loess. With integration of the published data set about trace element and Sr Nd isotopic composition and our results, combined with the simulation results, we revealed that the Badain Jaran and Tengger deserts in northwestern CLP, rather than the Taklimakan and Kyzylkum deserts further west, played an important role in supply of the clay-sized particles for the CLP loess. The findings implied that the fine particles were primarily related to the East Asian winter monsoon, instead of the high-level westerly airstreams. In this context, we attributed the asynchronous timing of enhanced dust accumulation during the last glacial maximum (LGM) over Greenland and North Pacific (early LGM) and on the CLP (late LGM) to the differences in the major dust sources and in the atmospheric circulation systems. • Kyzylkum Desert makes negligible contribution to the Central Asian loess. • Origin of clay-sized components in the CLP loess is systematically characterized. • The findings of this study help to improve understanding of the Asian dust cycle. To realize the high value-added utilization of low-rank coal and elucidate the selectivity of solvent structure and oxygen-containing compounds in low-rank coal, Zhaotong (ZT) lignite and Naomaohu (NMH) sub-bitumite were subjected to thermal dissolution in three types of oxygen-containing solvents with different properties, namely ethanol (ET), tetrahydrofuran (THF) and ethyl acetate (EA). The soluble portions (SPs) obtained were separated by column chromatography into three types of fractions: hydrocarbon (HY), non-hydrocarbon (NHY) and asphaltene (ASP). The results indicated that the yields of SPs in all three solvents for each coal was ET > THF > EA, and the ratios of column chromatographic fractions of SPs of the two coals were significantly different, with lower asphaltene content in the SPs of NMH. The thermal dissolution process of the three solvents significantly reduced the oxygen content of low-rank coal, and the deoxygenation capacity was in the order of ET > THF > EA. More medium or low polarity compounds could be obtained from NMH than from ZT through thermal dissolution process. ET showed excellent selectivity for the generation of both phenols and esters, where the phenols were mainly alkylphenols. THF could release highly condensed polycyclic compounds from coal thus more naphthalenols containing substituent groups were detected in phenols. And it was more selective to COO bonds in NMH than ZT from the results of XPS. More esters were detected in the SPs of NMH compared with ZT. EA had a strong selectivity for C O in low-rank coals, and the thermal dissolution process released a large number of esters, which could be divided into alkanoates and aromatic acid esters. This study can provide a theoretical basis for extracting high value-added chemicals from low-rank coal under mild conditions. In this work, a tube extrusion-shear-expanding (TESE) process was proposed to develop a high-performance magnesium alloy thin-walled tube, and then a comparison was made with the direct extrusion (DE) process. The microstructure and mechanical properties of magnesium alloy tubes under different processes were tested and analyzed. Numerical simulations were conducted by using DEFORMTM-3D software to predict the effective stresses, forming loads, and effective strains during the forming of magnesium alloy tubes. Compared with DE process, the TESE process with high effective stresses, effective strains, and forming loads generates a severe plastic deformation of the tube, leading to a more obvious grain refinement effect on the fabricated tube with a tensile strength of around 293 MPa and an elongation of around 15%. The results show that the TESE process has obvious advantages. The critical shear force and dynamic recrystallization further refine the grains and weaken the basal texture strength. Automated modal identification and tracking provides the key technique for modal parameters based structural condition evaluation. However, the existing automated modal identification and tracking methods have limitations for situation with very few sensors deployed and require manual intervention. This paper proposes a unified fully automated modal identification and tracking method that can be used for structures with many or very few sensors deployed, for closely spaced modes with severe spatial aliasing and for structures with high flexibility or rigidity. A new index, which is called Modified Modal Observability Correlation, is proposed to estimate the similarity of two modes. New spurious mode elimination method and fully automated mode separation and tracking methods are proposed to realize the automated modal identification and tracking. The feasibility and novelty of the proposed method are validated using in-field monitoring data from a long span suspension bridge with high flexibility and a short span bridge with high rigidity and closely spaced modes. Automated modal identification and tracking for situations with many and very few sensors deployed for the two bridges are conducted, and extreme situation of closely spaced modes with spatial aliasing in mode shape is also considered to prove the novelty of the proposed method. Comparisons with existing mainstream methods are also conducted. The results show that the proposed method yields the right identification and tracking results in all situations, showing novelty in automated modal identification and tracking for structures with closely spaced modes having severe spatial aliasing when only very few sensors are deployed. The pathogenesis of depression involves cAMP-response element binding protein1 (CREB1) and metabotropic glutamate receptor 7 (GRM7), and their genetic polymorphisms may affect susceptibility to depression. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the CREB1 polymorphisms rs2253206 and rs10932201 and the GRM7 polymorphism rs162209 are associated with the risk of depression. Using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism and DNA sequencing, we analyzed the rs2253206, rs10932201, and rs162209 frequencies in 479 patients with depression and 329 normal controls. The results showed that the rs2253206 and rs10932201 polymorphisms were significantly associated with an increased risk of depression. However, no association was found between rs162209 and depression risk. When the data were stratified for several disease-related variables, none of the three polymorphisms were found to be correlated to onset, disease severity, family history, or suicidal tendency. Thus, the present findings indicate that the CREB1 polymorphisms rs2253206 and rs10932201 may be related to the occurrence of depression. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Remifentanil-induced postoperative hyperalgesia (RIH) refers to a state of hyperalgesia or aggravated preexisting pain after remifentanil exposure. There has been considerable interest in understanding and preventing RIH. However, the mechanisms responsible for RIH are still not completely understood. Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), a classic innate immune receptor, has been detected in sensory neurons and participates in various nociceptive conditions, whereas its role in RIH remains unclear. Transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1) always serves as a nociceptive channel, whereas its role in RIH has not yet been investigated. This study aimed to determine whether the TLR4 signaling pathway in sensory neurons engaged in the development of RIH and the possible involvement of TRPA1 during this process. Methods: A rat model of remifentanilinduced postoperative hyperalgesia (RIH) was established, which presented decreased paw withdrawal mechanical threshold (PWMT) and paw withdrawal thermal latency (PWTL). The mRNA and protein expression levels of TLR4, phosphorylated NF-κB, and TRPA1 in the dorsal root ganglion (DRG) from RIH model were analyzed by real-time PCR, western blot, and immunofluorescence. The TLR4 antagonist TAK-242 and the TRPA1 antagonist HC-030031 were applied to determine the role of sensory neuron TLR4 signaling and TRPA1 in RIH. Results: Compared with control, PWMT and PWTL were significantly decreased in RIH model. Moreover, the mRNA and protein expression of TLR4 and TRPA1 in DRG were upregulated after remifentanil exposure together with increased NF-κB phosphorylation. TLR4 antagonist TAK-242 mitigated mechanical pain in RIH together with downregulated expression of TLR4, phosphorylated NF-κB, and TRPA1 in DRG neurons. In addition, TRPA1 antagonist HC-030031 also alleviated mechanical pain and decreased TRPA1 expression in RIH without affecting TLR4 signaling in DRG. Conclusions: Taken together, these results suggested that activation of TLR4 signaling pathway engaged in the development of RIH by regulating TRPA1 in DRG neurons. Purpose: Lung cancer (LC) and breast cancer (BC) are the most common causes of brain metastases (BMs). Time from primary diagnosis to BM (TPDBM) refers to the time interval between initial LC or BC diagnosis and development of BM. This research aims to identify clinical, molecular, and therapeutic risk factors associated with shorter TPDBM. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed all diagnosed LC and BC patients with BM at Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital from 2016 to 2020. A total of 570 patients with LC brain metastasis (LCBM) and 173 patients with breast cancer brain metastasis (BCBM) patients who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled for further analysis. BM free survival time curves were generated using Kaplan–Meier analyses. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were applied to identify risk factors associated with earlier development of BM in LC and BC, respectively. Results: The median TPDBM was 5.3 months in LC and 44.4 months in BC. In multivariate analysis, clinical stage IV and M1 stage were independent risk factors for early development of LCBM. LC patients who received chemotherapy, targeted therapy, pulmonary radiotherapy, and pulmonary surgery had longer TPDBM. For BC patients, age ≥ 50 years, Ki67 ≥ 0.3, HER2 positive or triple‐negative breast cancer subtype, advanced N stage, and no mastectomy were correlated with shorter TPDBM. Conclusions: This single‐institutional study helps identify patients who have a high risk of developing BM early. For these patients, early detection and intervention could have clinical benefits. Silicon and lithium metal are promising anode materials toward high energy densities Li (ion) batteries. However, silicon and lithium generally have dramatic volume change during lithiation/delithiation cycles. With the repeated expansion/shrinkage, the internal stress fluctuations and electrode pulverization can cause high interfacial resistance and the failure of electrodes. Herein, a novel strategy is proposed to engineer the current collector by using a polydopamine-assisted electroless metallization process to prepare an elastic deformable current collector covered with a high electrical conductivity Cu nano-network surface. The deformable current collectors can not only stabilize the interfacial stress as an artificial-spring, but also improve the electrical conductivity of anodes without any binders and conductive agents. Introduction: Treatment strategies for depression based on interventions for glucose and lipid metabolism disorders are receiving increasing attention. Investigating the mechanism of their antidepressant effect and exploring new diagnostic and therapeutic biomarkers have attracted increasing attention. Dulaglutide, a long‐acting GLP‐1 receptor agonist, has been reported to alleviate cognitive deficits and neuronal damage. However, the antidepressant effect of dulaglutide and, especially, the underlying mechanism are still poorly understood. In this study, we aimed to explore the underlying biomarkers of depression and potential modulatory targets of dulaglutide in chronic mild stress (CMS) mice. Methods: Sixty mice were randomly divided into a control group (CON group), a CMS+Vehicle group (CMS+Veh group), a CMS+0.3 mg/kg dulaglutide group (Low Dula group), and a CMS+0.6 mg/kg dulaglutide group (High Dula group). Numerous behavioral tests, mainly the open field test, forced swimming test, and tail suspension test, were applied to evaluate the potential effect of dulaglutide treatment on anxiety‐ and depression‐like behaviors in mice exposed to chronic stress. Furthermore, a liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry‐based metabolomics approach was utilized to investigate the associated mechanisms of dulaglutide treatment. Results: Three weeks of dulaglutide treatment significantly reversed depressive‐like but not anxiety‐like behaviors in mice exposed to chronic stress for 4 weeks. The results from the metabolomics analysis showed that a total of 20 differentially expressed metabolites were identified between the CON and CMS+Veh groups, and 46 metabolites were selected between the CMS+Veh and High Dula groups in the hippocampus of the mice. Comprehensive analysis indicated that lipid metabolism, amino acid metabolism, energy metabolism, and tryptophan metabolism were disrupted in model mice that experienced depression and underwent dulaglutide therapy. Conclusion: The antidepressant effects of dulaglutide in a CMS depression model were confirmed. We identified 64 different metabolites and four major pathways associated with metabolic pathophysiological processes. These primary data provide a new perspective for understanding the antidepressant‐like effects of dulaglutide and may facilitate the use of dulaglutide as a potential therapeutic strategy for depression. Context: The reaction between Na and HF is a typical harpooning reaction which is of great interest due to its significance in understanding the elementary chemical reaction kinetics. This work aims to investigate the detailed reaction mechanisms of sodium with hydrogen fluoride and the adsorption of HF on the resultant NaF as well as the (NaF)4 tetramer. The results suggest that the reaction between Na and HF leads to the formation of sodium fluoride salt NaF and hydrogen gas. Na interacts with HF to form a complex HF···Na, and then the approaching of F atom of HF to Na results in a transition state H···F···Na. Accompanied by the broken of H-F bond, the bond forms between F and Na atoms as NaF, then the product NaF is yielded due to the removal of H atom. The resultant NaF can further form (NaF)4 tetramer. The interaction of NaF with HF leads to the complex NaF···HF; the form I as well as II of (NaF)4 can interact with HF to produce two complexes (i.e., (NaF)4(I-1)···HF, (NaF)4(I-2)···HF, (NaF)4(II-1)···HF and (NaF)4(II-2)···HF), but the form III of (NaF)4 can interact with HF to produce only one complex (NaF)4(III)···HF. These complexes were explored in terms of noncovalent interaction (NCI) and quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) analyses. NCI analyses confirm the existences of attractive interactions in the complexes HF···Na, NaF···HF, (NaF)4(I-1)···HF, (NaF)4(I-2)···HF, (NaF)4(II-1)···HF and (NaF)4(II-2)···HF, and (NaF)4(III)···HF. QTAIM analyses suggest that the F···Na interaction forms in the HF···Na complex while the F···H hydrogen bonds form in NaF···HF, (NaF)4(I-1)···HF, (NaF)4(I-2)···HF, (NaF)4(II-1)···HF and (NaF)4(II-2)···HF, and (NaF)4(III)···HF complexes. Natural bond orbital (NBO) analyses were also applied to analyze the intermolecular donor-acceptor orbital interactions in these complexes. These results would provide valuable insight into the chemical reaction of Na and HF and the adsorption interaction between sodium fluoride salt and HF. Methods: The calculations were carried out at the M06-L/6-311++G(2d,2p) level of theory which were performed using the Gaussian16 program. Intrinsic reaction coordinate (IRC) calculations were carried out at the same level of theory to confirm that the obtained transition state was true. The molecular surface electrostatic potential (MSEP) was employed to understand how the complex forms. Quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) and noncovalent interaction (NCI) analysis was used to know the topology parameters at bond critical points (BCPs) and intermolecular interactions in the complex and intermediate. In the mining process of the stage empty field subsequent filling mining method, aiming at the problem of unloading failure and instability of the excavation face of the high-stress ore pillar, the theory of unloading stress component is introduced and combined with the energy release theory to explore the unloading failure mechanism of the excavation face of the ore pillar. The results show the following. (1) The degree of accumulation of strain energy in the pillar is related to the tangential stress. After the peak of the tangential stress, the energy changes from accumulation to release, indicating that energy release is the main cause of pillar damage. (2) In pillar unloading, there are 4 typical characteristic areas of stress during the loading process: crushing area, shaping area, elastic area, and original rock stress area. The energy accumulation area and the stress component area show good correspondence, and they all appear from the top to the bottom of the pillar. At 1/4, the starting point of unloading failure can be determined. (3) The mutation mechanism in the process of energy release is related to the time effect of tangential stress. On the contrary, the greater the tangential stress is, the longer the elastic zone lasts, and the more significant the energy accumulation is. Also, the increase in tangential stress will lead the energy release time becomes shorter, and a large amount of accumulated energy is released in a short time, causing local instability and destruction of the pillar, and eventually spreads to the whole. A new ascochlorin glycoside (1) and 8 known ascochlorin derivatives (2-9), and ilicicolin H (10) were purified from brittlestar derived fungus Acremonium sp. GXIMD02024. Their structural elucidations were carried out by analyses of 1D and 2D NMR, high resolution mass spectrometry, and CD spectroscopic data and comparison of those with literature data. Compound 1 was a rare fungal polyketide-sesquiterpenoid possessing sugar moiety. The antibacterial and cytotoxicity activities of compounds 1-10 have been performed in vitro. Compounds 1-3, 7, 8, and 10 were measured for their inhibitory effect on α-glucosidase. In March 1966, Ms 6.8 and 7.2 earthquakes occurred in Xingtai, North China, resulting in widespread soil liquefaction that caused severe infrastructure damage and economic losses. Using Keyhole satellite imagery combined with aerial images and fieldwork records, we interpreted and identified 66,442 liquefaction points and analyzed the coseismic liquefaction distribution characteristics and possible factors that influenced the Xingtai earthquakes. The interpreted coseismic liquefaction was mainly concentrated above the IX-degree zone, accounting for 80% of all liquefaction points. High-density liquefaction zones (point density > 75 pieces/km2) accounted for 22% of the total liquefaction points. Most of the interpreted liquefaction points were located at the region with a peak ground acceleration (PGA) of >0.46 g. The liquefaction area on 22 March was significantly larger than that on 8 March. The region of liquefaction was mainly limited by sandy soil conditions, water system conditions, and seismic geological conditions and distributed in areas with loose fine sand and silt deposits, a high water table (groundwater level increases before both mainshocks corresponding to the liquefaction intensive regions), rivers, and ancient river channels. Liquefaction exhibited a repeating characteristic in the same region. PCIF1 can mediate the methylation of N6,2'-0-dimethyladenosine (m6Am) in mRNA. Yet, the detailed interplay between PCIF1 and the potential cofactors and its pathological significance remain elusive. Here, we demonstrated that PCIF1-mediated cap mRNA m6Am modification promoted head and neck squamous cell carcinoma progression both in vitro and in vivo. CTBP2 was identified as a cofactor of PCIF1 to catalyze m6Am deposition on mRNA. CLIP-Seq data demonstrated that CTBP2 bound to similar mRNAs as compared with PCIF1. We then used the m6Am-Seq method to profile the mRNA m6Am site at single-base resolution and found that mRNA of TET2, a well-known tumor suppressor, was a major target substrate of the PCIF1-CTBP2 complex. Mechanistically, knockout of CTBP2 reduced PCIF1 occupancy on TET2 mRNA, and the PCIF1-CTBP2 complex negatively regulated the translation of TET2 mRNA. Collectively, our study demonstrates the oncogenic function of the epitranscriptome regulator PCIF1-CTBP2 complex, highlighting the importance of the m6Am modification in tumor progression. The goal of low-light image enhancement (LLIE) is to enhance perception to restore normal-light images. The primary emphasis of earlier LLIE methods was on enhancing the illumination while paying less attention to the color distortions and noise in the dark. In comparison to the ground truth, the restored images frequently exhibit inconsistent color and residual noise. To this end, this paper introduces a Wasserstein contrastive regularization method (WCR) for LLIE. The WCR regularizes the color histogram (CH) representation of the restored image to keep its color consistency while removing noise. Specifically, the WCR contains two novel designs including a differentiable CH module (DCHM) and a WCR loss. The DCHM serves as a modular component that can be easily integrated into the network to enable end-to-end learning of the image CH. Afterwards, to ensure color consistency, we utilize the Wasserstein distance (WD) to quantify the resemblance of the learnable CHs between the restored image and the normal-light image. Then, the regularized WD is used to construct the WCR loss, which is a triplet loss and takes the normal-light images as positive samples, the low-light images as negative samples, and the restored images as anchor samples. The WCR loss pulls the anchor samples closer to the positive samples and simultaneously pushes them away from the negative samples so as to help the anchors remove the noise in the dark. Notably, the proposed WCR method was only used for training, and was shown to achieve high performance and high speed inference using lightweight networks. Therefore, it is valuable for real-time applications such as night automatic driving and night reversing image enhancement. Extensive evaluations on benchmark datasets such as LOL, FiveK, and UIEB showed that the proposed WCR method achieves superior performance, outperforming existing state-of-the-art methods. Background: Diabetes mellitus is a prevalent metabolic disease in the world. Previous studies have shown that anesthetics can affect perioperative blood glucose levels which related to adverse clinical outcomes. Few studies have explored the choice of general anesthetic protocol on perioperative glucose metabolism in diabetes patients. We aimed to compare total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) with total inhalation anesthesia (TIHA) on blood glucose level and complications in type 2 diabetic patients undergoing general surgery. Methods: In this double-blind controlled trial, 116 type 2 diabetic patients scheduled for general surgery were randomly assigned to either the TIVA group or TIHA group (n = 56 and n = 60, respectively). The blood glucose level at different time points were measured and analyzed by the repeated-measures analysis of variance. The serum insulin and cortisol levels were measured and analyzed with t-test. The incidence of complications was followed up and analyzed with chi-square test or Fisher's exact test as appropriate. The risk factors for complications were analyzed using the logistic stepwise regression. Results: The blood glucose levels were higher in TIHA group than that in TIVA group at the time points of extubation, 1 and 2 h after the operation, 1 and 2 days after the operation, and were significantly higher at 1 day after the operation (10.4 ± 2.8 vs. 8.1 ± 2.1 mmol/L; P < 0.01). The postoperative insulin level was higher in TIVA group than that in TIHA group (8.9 ± 2.9 vs. 7.6 ± 2.4 IU/mL; P = 0.011). The postoperative cortisol level was higher in TIHA group than that in TIVA group (15.3 ± 4.8 vs. 12.2 ± 8.9 ug/dL ; P = 0.031). No significant difference regarding the incidence of complications between the two groups was found based on the current samples. Blood glucose level on postoperative day 1 was a risk factor for postoperative complications (OR: 1.779, 95%CI: 1.009 ~ 3.138). Conclusions: TIVA has less impact on perioperative blood glucose level and a better inhibition of cortisol release in type 2 diabetic patients compared to TIHA. A future large trial may be conducted to find the difference of complications between the two groups. (1) Background: Sleep deprivation (SD) triggers a range of neuroinflammatory responses. Dexmedetomidine can improve sleep deprivation-induced anxiety by reducing neuroinflammatory response but the mechanism is unclear; (2) Methods: The sleep deprivation model was established by using an interference rod device. An open field test and an elevated plus maze test were used to detect the emotional behavior of mice. Mouse cortical tissues were subjected to RNA sequence (RNA-seq) analysis. Western blotting and immunofluorescence were used to detect the expression of p38/p-p38, MSK1/p-MSK1, and NFκBp65/p- NFκBp65. Inflammatory cytokines were detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); (3) Results: SD triggered anxiety-like behaviors in mice and was closely associated with inflammatory responses and the MAPK pathway (as demonstrated by transcriptome analysis). SD led to increased expression levels of p-p38, p-MSK1, and p-NFκB. P38 inhibitor SB203580 was used to confirm the important role of the p38/MSK1/NFκB pathway in SD-induced neuroinflammation. Dexmedetomidine (Dex) effectively improves emotional behavior in sleep-deprived mice by attenuating SD-induced inflammatory responses and oxidative stress in the cerebral cortex, mainly by inhibiting the activation of the p38/MSK1/NFκB pathway; (4) Conclusions: Dex inhibits the activation of the p38/MSK1/NFκB pathway, thus attenuating SD-induced inflammatory responses and oxidative stress in the cerebral cortex of mice. Background: Sugammadex has been reported to lower the incidence of postoperative residual neuromuscular blockade. Despite the advantages, until recently the effects of sugammadex on postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs) were controversial. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine whether reversal with sugammadex was associated with a lower risk of PPCs compared with neostigmine. Methods: PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials were searched from inception to May 2022. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and observational studies comparing PPCs in patients receiving sugammadex or neostigmine as reversal agent at the end of surgery were included. The primary outcomes focused on PPCs including desaturation, pneumonia, atelectasis, noninvasive ventilation (NIV) and reintubation. Trial sequential analysis was performed on the primary outcomes to confirm whether firm evidence was reached. Results: Meta-analysis of included studies showed that the rate of desaturation (43.2% vs 45.0%, RR = 0.82; 95% CI 0.63 to 1.05; p = 0.11) were comparable between the two groups. When looking at other primary outcomes, significantly lower risk of pneumonia (1.37% vs 2.45%, RR = 0.65; 95% CI 0.49 to 0.85; p = 0.002), atelectasis (24.6% vs 30.4%, RR = 0.64; 95% CI 0.42 to 0.98; p = 0.04), NIV (1.37% vs 2.33%, RR = 0.65; 95% CI 0.43 to 0.98; p = 0.04) and reintubation (0.99% vs 1.65%, RR = 0.62; 95% CI 0.43 to 0.91; p = 0.01) in the sugammadex group were detected compared with the neostigmine group. Conclusions: We concluded that sugammadex is more effective at reducing the incidence of PPCs including pneumonia, atelectasis, NIV and reintubation compared with neostigmine. China's first optical stereo mapping satellite with a sub-meter resolution, GaoFen-7 (GF-7), launched in November 2019, shows significant potential for providing high-resolution topographic and geomorphic data for quantitative research on active tectonics. However, no studies have evaluated the capability of the GF-7-generated digital elevation model (DEM) for quantitatively studying active tectonics. This study aimed to validate the accuracy of the DEMs extracted from GF-7 stereo imagery, with or without ground control points (GCPs), and evaluated the potential of applying GF-7 DEMs to active tectonics. First, GF-7 stereo images were processed to obtain DEMs with a spatial resolution of 2 m, utilizing three different methods, including block adjustment without GCPs, block adjustment with the aid of Google Earth images and SRTM DEM, and block adjustment with GCPs derived from the Ice, Cloud, and land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) data. These three generated DEMs were called GF-7 DEMMethod1, GF-7 DEMMethod2, and GF-7 DEMMethod3, respectively, and were verified by the airborne LiDAR data in the Hasishan section of the Haiyuan fault. Second, the capability of the GF-7 DEMs for identifying active faults, fault scarps, and horizontal offsets was evaluated. Finally, 8 vertical and 13 horizontal offsets were measured based on three different GF-7 DEMs, and airborne LiDAR data were used to verify the measurements' accuracies. The results indicated that the accuracy of GF-7 DEMMethod1 was the worst and that of GF-7 DEMMethod3 was superior to that of GF-7 DEMMethod2. The GF-7 DEMs could effectively identify the apparent fault scarps and horizontal offsets. The RMSE values of the vertical offsets measured based on GF-7 DEMMethod1, GF-7 DEMMethod2, and GF-7 DEMMethod3 were 0.55 m, 0.55 m, and 0.41 m, respectively. The horizontal offsets yielded RMSE values of 3.98 m, 2.52 m, and 1.37 m, respectively. These findings demonstrated that vertical and horizontal offsets could be accurately measured using the DEMs generated from GF-7 stereo images. Meanwhile, our study indicated that the GCPs derived from ICESat-2 data could be utilized to improve the accuracies of the GF-7 DEM, and the measurements of vertical and horizontal offsets. Layered δ-MnO2 catalysts were prepared using the one-step redox method in precursor solutions with five different pH values (pH = 7, 9, 11, 13, and 14). The effects of pH on the physical properties and catalytic activity of the catalyst were investigated through XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, XPS, H2-TPR, and HCHO degradation tests at room temperature. The results showed that the layer spacing, manganese vacancy content, Mn4+/Mn3+ ratio, and surface-reactive oxygen species content of MnO2 increased with the increase in pH value in the alkaline range. When the catalyst was prepared at pH = 13, the above characteristics of the catalyst reached the optimal value which contributed to the high catalytic activity. Combined with the related characterization results, it was proved that changing the pH can affect the degree of oxidation in the catalyst synthesis process, increase the number of active oxygen and the oxygen mobility of the catalyst, and effectively improve the catalytic activity of the manganese dioxide catalyst for HCHO. This work represents a giant step toward the preparation of an effective catalyst for practical applications of HCHO removal at room temperature at a low concentration and high velocity. Background: Prior studies have reported conflicting results on the effect of sugammadex on postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs) and research on this topic in transapical-transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TA-TAVI) was sparse. The current study aimed to investigate whether there were differences in the incidence of PPCs between two muscle relaxant strategies (rocuronium/sugammadex vs. cisatracurium/neostigmine) in patients undergoing TA-TAVI. Methods: This retrospective observational study enrolled 245 adult patients underwent TA-TAVI between October 2018 and January 2021. The patients were grouped according to the type of muscle relaxant strategies (115 with rocuronium/sugammadex in the R/S group and 130 with cisatracurium/neostigmine in the C/N group, respectively). Pre- and intraoperative variables were managed by propensity score match (PSM) at a 1:2 ratio. PPCs (i.e., respiratory infection, pleural effusion, pneumothorax, atelectasis, respiratory failure, bronchospasm and aspiration pneumonitis) were evaluated from the radiological and laboratory findings. Results: After PSM, 91 patients in the R/S group were selected and matched to 112 patients in the C/N group. Patients in the R/S group showed lower PPCs rate (45.1% vs. 61.6%, p = 0.019) compared to the C/N group. In addition, the R/S group showed significant shorter extubation time (7.2 ± 6.2 vs. 10.3 ± 8.2 min, p = 0.003) and length of hospital stay (6.9 ± 3.3 vs. 8.0 ± 4.0 days, p = 0.034). Conclusion: The rocuronium/sugammadex muscle relaxant strategy decreases the incidence of PPCs in patients undergoing TA-TAVI when compared to cisatracurium/neostigmine strategy. The variable noise spectrum for many actual application scenarios requires a sound absorber to adapt to this variation. An adjustable sound absorber of multiple parallel-connection Helmholtz resonators with tunable apertures (TA–MPCHRs) is prepared by the low-force stereolithography of photopolymer resin, which aims to improve the applicability of the proposed sound absorber for noise with various frequency ranges. The proposed TA–MPCHR metamaterial contains five metamaterial cells. Each metamaterial cell contains nine single Helmholtz resonators. It is treated as a basic structural unit for an array arrangement. The tunable aperture is realized by utilizing four segments of extendable cylindrical chambers with length l0, which indicates that the length of the aperture l is in the range of [l0, 4l0], and that it is tunable. With a certain group of specific parameters for the proposed TA–MPCHR, the influence of the tunable aperture with a variable length is investigated by acoustic finite element simulation with a two-dimensional rotational symmetric model. For the given noise spectrum of certain actual equipment with four operating modes, the TA–MPCHR sample with a limited total thickness of 40 mm is optimized, which is made of photopolymer resin by the low-force stereolithography, and its actual average sound absorption coefficients for the frequency ranges of 500–800 Hz, 550–900 Hz, 600–1000 Hz and 700–1150 Hz reach 0.9203, 0.9202, 0.9436 and 0.9561, respectively. Relative to common non-adjustable metamaterials, the TA–MPCHR made of photopolymer resin can reduce occupied space and improve absorption efficiency, which is favorable in promoting its practical applications in the noise pollution prevention. Background: Valvular heart disease remains common in both developed and developing countries, and it requires timely surgical treatment when necessary. However, the stability of hemodynamics during anesthesia induction in patients undergoing valve replacement surgery is difficult to maintain due to their impaired cardiac function. Remimazolam, a novel and ultrashort-acting intravenous sedative-hypnotic, may be beneficial to stable hemodynamics, but the evidence is limited. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the effect of remimazolam induction on hemodynamics compared with midazolam and etomidate in patients undergoing valve replacement surgery. Methods: This is a prospective, multicenter randomized controlled trial (RCT). Three hundred and sixty-three non-obese adult patients aged 45 to 80 years old undergoing valve surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass will be randomly allocated to receive remimazolam tosilate, midazolam, or etomidate during anesthetic induction. The primary outcome is the incidence of hypotension within 20 min after the administration of investigated drugs. The hypotension is defined as systolic blood pressure (SBP) < 90 mmHg or a 30% reduction in SBP from baseline or the application of vasoactive drugs. Secondary outcomes include incidence of successful sedation, time to successful sedation, incidence of delirium and postoperative low cardiac output syndrome within 7 days after surgery, hospital mortality, mechanical ventilation time, ICU length of stay, and hospital length of stay. Discussion: To our knowledge, this is the first prospective RCT to investigate the efficacy and safety of remimazolam induction in adult cardiac surgery compared with midazolam and etomidate. A new approach for the synthesis of 2-aminobenzofurans has been described via Sc(OTf)3 mediated formal cycloaddition of isocyanides with the in situ generated ortho-quinone methides (o-QMs) from o-hydroxybenzhydryl alcohol. Notably, as a class of readily available and highly active intermediates, o-QMs were first used in the construction of benzofurans. This [4 + 1] cycloaddition reaction provides a straightforward and efficient methodology for the construction of 2-aminobenzofurans scaffold in good yield (up to 93% yield) under mild conditions. Background: Calcineurin B-like proteins (CBLs) are ubiquitous Ca2+ sensors that mediate plant responses to various stress and developmental processes by interacting with CBL-interacting protein kinases (CIPKs). CBLs and CIPKs play essential roles in acclimatization of crop plants. However, evolution of these two gene families in the genus Medicago is poorly understood. Results: A total of 68 CBL and 135 CIPK genes have been identified in five genomes from Medicago. Among these genomes, the gene number of CBLs and CIPKs shows no significant difference at the haploid genome level. Phylogenetic and comprehensive characteristic analyses reveal that CBLs and CIPKs are classified into four clades respectively, which is validated by distribution of conserved motifs. The synteny analysis indicates that the whole genome duplication events (WGDs) have contributed to the expansion of both families. Expression analysis demonstrates that two MsCBLs and three MsCIPKs are specifically expressed in roots, mature leaves, developing flowers and nitrogen fixing nodules of Medicago sativa spp. sativa, the widely grown tetraploid species. In particular, the expression of these five genes was highly up-regulated in roots when exposed to salt and drought stress, indicating crucial roles in stress responses. Conclusions: Our study leads to a comprehensive understanding of evolution of CBL and CIPK gene families in Medicago, but also provides a rich resource to further address the functions of CBL-CIPK complexes in cultivated species and their closely related wild relatives. To reveal the correlation of dynamic serum tumor markers (STMs) and molecular features of epidermal growth factor receptor‐mutated (EGFR‐mutated) lung cancer during targeted therapy, we retrospectively reviewed 303 lung cancer patients who underwent dynamic STM tests [neuron‐specific enolase (NSE), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125), carbohydrate antigen 153 (CA153), the soluble fragment of cytokeratin 19 (CYFRA21‐1), and squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC)] and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) testing with a panel covering 168 genes. At baseline, patients with EGFR mutation trended to have abnormal CEA, abnormal CA153, and normal SCC levels. Additionally, patients with Thr790Met (T790M) mutation were more likely to have abnormal CEA levels than patients without T790M mutation. Among patients with secondary resistance to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI), the dynamic STMs showed a descending trend in the responsive stage and a rising trend in the resistant stage. However, the changing slopes differed between T790M subgroup and the non‐T790M subgroup in individual STMs. Our study demonstrated that the combination of baseline levels and variations of STMs (including the responsive stage and resistant stage) can be suggestive of secondary EGFR‐T790M mutation [area under the curve (AUC) = 0.897] and that changing trends of STMs (within 8 weeks after initiating the TKI therapy) can be potential predictors for the clearance of EGFR ctDNA [AUC = 0.871]. With the ability to generate in situ real-time electric signals, electrochemically active biofilm (EAB) sensors have attracted wide attention as a promising water biotoxicity early-warning device. Organic matters serving as the electron donors potentially affect the electric signal's output and the sensitivity of the EAB sensor. To explore the influence of organic matters on EAB sensor's performance, this study tested six different organic matters during the sensor's inoculation. Besides the acetate, a conventional and widely used organic matter, propionate and lactate were also found capable of starting up the sensor. Moreover, the propionate-fed (PF) sensor delivered the highest sensitivity, which are respectively 1.4 times and 2.8 times of acetate-fed (AF) sensor and lactate-fed (LF) sensor. Further analysis revealed that EAB of PF sensor had more vulnerable intracellular metabolism than the others, which manifested as the most severe energy metabolic suppression and reactive oxygen species attack. Regarding the microbial function, a two-component system that was deemed as an environment awareness system was found in the EAB of PF, which also contributed to its high sensitivity. To address the problems of low metal utilization rate and poor low-temperature activity of the nickel phyllosilicate catalysts for CO 2 methanation, this work prepared ultrathin defect-rich Ni-phyllosilicate through ball milling method in the presence of H 2 O 2 modifier, which simultaneously created active sites with more quantity and higher quality. The instantaneous temperature and high pressure derived from the collision and friction of grinding balls provided driving force for the Ni-phyllosilicate synthesis, and the shear force destroyed the interlayer forces to construct the ultrathin layers. H 2 O 2 molecule could insert the layers and dissociate to O 2 bubbles, whose cavitation effect created holes and defects in the nickel phyllosilicate nanosheets and SiO 2 spheres. H 2 O 2 amount was crucial for the defect construction and the optimum Ni-AA-1H catalyst possessed the ultrathin nanosheet of 0.68 nm and high Ni dispersion of 15.6 %, whose TOF CO2 reached 3.76 × 10−2 s−1 at 160 °C. The in-situ DRIFTS results confirmed the enhanced low-temperature activity and the HCOO− reaction pathway over Ni-AA-1H for CO 2 methanation. Nickel precursor effect was also investigated, and nickel acetylacetonate was determined as the optimal one compared with nickel acetate and nickel chloride, owing to the high steric effect of CH 3 COCHCOCH 3 − group and strong basicity environment during ball milling process. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) was used to analyze the soluble portions (SPs) of eight lignites which were obtained by extracting using cyclohexane, methanol and ethanol, respectively, as the solvent. For thermal dissolution at 300 °C using cyclohexane, the intermolecular interactions between mobile phase and macromolecules in coal were weakened. Consequently, non- and low-polar compounds such as alkanes and aromatics were well dissolved. Methanol and ethanol were more likely to closely interact with oxygen-containing functional groups and promoted the breakage of hydrogen bonds and weak covalent bonds. Hierarchical cluster analysis classified all the 24 SPs, and the SPs from cyclohexane and ethanol solvents exhibited more similarity. Partial least squares discriminant analysis was established to reproduce the classification results of SPs entirely and accurately. The SPs were further classified by combining a small number of geochemical characteristic compounds rather than massive GC-MS data. • Three low-rank coals retain the biological properties of numerous aquatic plants. • Data mining provides convenient and accurate classification for coal samples. • PLS-DA classification is determined by differential geochemical characteristic compounds. Investigating the oxygen bond cleavage and its migration mechanisms during the pyrolysis process of sub-bituminous coals is essential for their classification utilization. The present study employed a fixed-bed pyrolysis technique (temperature range: 350–600 °C) to explore the cleavage of oxygen-containing bonds and subsequent behavior of oxygen migration and transformation during the pyrolysis process of Naomaohu sub-bituminous coal (NSBC). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results reveal that the organic oxygen in NSBC predominantly exists as the form of C–O bonds, accounting for 22.81 wt% of the total composition, mainly encompassing hydroxyl, carbonyl, ester, and ether groups. The organic oxygen in the light tar is mainly in the form of phenols, reaching 1.71 wt%, of which methyl substituted phenols is predominant at a final pyrolysis temperature of 600 °C. This can be attributed to the presence of more aryl ether bonds and hydroxyl groups in NSBC, which are prone to cleavage at higher temperatures, resulting in the formation of phenoxyl radicals. Additionally, the higher temperature facilitates the weakening of hydrogen bonds between phenolic hydroxyl groups, thereby enhancing the yield of phenolic compounds. The ester compounds present a decreasing trend with increasing temperature, primarily associated with the cleavage temperature of ester linkers being 350 °C, suggesting that an increase in temperature favors the cleavage of ester bonds. In addition, the cleavage of C–O bonds begins to accelerate significantly during the pyrolysis temperature range of 450–500 °C, subsequently accounting for the pronounced proliferation of phenols within this specific thermal interval. The oxygen content in semi-coke decreased with the increase of temperature, from 85.27 wt% at 350 °C to 37.17 wt% at 600 °C, while the oxygen content in the pyrolysis gas increases from 11.63 wt% at 350 °C to 47.53 wt% at 600 °C, indicating that a significant migration of organic oxygen to the pyrolysis gas during the pyrolysis of NSBC. This study can deepen the understanding of the transformation mechanism of oxygen-containing structure in NSBC pyrolysis process, and provide a theoretical basis for high-grade utilization of low-rank coals. Objective: To explore whether modified Chevron osteotomy together with distal soft tissue release would correct moderate to severe HV deformity and what is the minimal clinical important difference (MCID) for objective and subjective evaluating parameters. Methods: From March 2018 to January 2019, 40 hallux valgus patients (including moderate to severe) were enrolled in this retrospective study. The cohort included four males and 36 females. The average age at surgery was 50.95 (range 22–75) years. All patients underwent modified Chevron osteotomy together with distal soft tissue release and completed at least one follow‐up at clinic. The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle forefoot score (AOFAS, forefoot), Visual Analog Scale (VAS), and Foot Function Index (FFI) were all collected before and after surgery. Besides, the hallux valgus angle (HVA), 1st–2nd intermetatarsal angle (IMA) and distal metatarsal articular angle (DMAA) were measured both before surgery and at last follow‐up. All MCID values were calculated by employing distribution‐based method. Results: Thirty‐seven patients (92.5%) showed satisfied result at a mean 14.3‐month follow‐up (range 13–22 month). Two patients complained about residual pain at the bunion, and overcorrection (hallux varus) occurred in one patient. Meanwhile, no patient observed nonunion. Being female, age more than 60, residual HVA deformity (>15°), and post IMA more than 9° showed no statistical relationship with the post‐operation residual pain (P > 0.05). However, high VAS score before surgery (more than 7) showed strong correlation with residual pain (P < 0.01). The subjective MCID value was 9.50 for AOFAS, 18.92 for FFI, and 1.27 for VAS, respectively. Conclusion: The modified Chevron osteotomy together with distal soft tissue release could achieve a satisfied result for moderate to severe HV deformity at early follow‐up. Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) is a critical rate-limiting enzyme in the homocysteine/methionine metabolism pathway that is implicated in the pathogenesis and progression of autoimmune diseases. Previous association studies have been performed to investigate the effect of polymorphisms in MTHFR on the risk of autoimmune diseases with inconsistent results. Therefore, this meta-analysis was designed to assess the association between the MTHFR 677 C/T and 1298 A/C polymorphisms and the susceptibility to autoimmune diseases. We identified reports by a literature search in the following electronic databases: PubMed, Ovid, Web of science, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. Statistical analyses of the summary odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were done using STATA software. In a recessive genetic model, the MTHFR 677 C/T polymorphism was associated with an increased risk of Behcet's disease (OR = 1.97 , 95% CI, 1.31-2.97), multiple sclerosis (OR = 1.57 , 95% CI, 1.03-2.38), and ankylosing spondylitis (OR = 2.90 , 95% CI, 1.92-4.38). The MTHFR 1298 A/C polymorphism was associated an increased risk of multiple sclerosis in a heterozygote comparison (OR = 2.36 , 95% CI, 1.29-4.30) and in a dominant model (OR = 2.31 , 95% CI, 1.24-4.29). This meta-analysis demonstrated that the MTHFR 677 C/T was a risk factor for Behcet's disease, multiple sclerosis, and ankylosing spondylitis, and the 1298 A/C was a risk factor for multiple sclerosis. Public development projects (PDPs) and documented public development projects (DPDPs) are two types of projects that can provide valuable information on how developers and users participate in OSS projects. However, it is hard for researchers to effectively select PDPs and DPDPs due to the lack of specific project selection methods for these two types of projects. To address this problem, a standard dataset was labelled and the base line methods (i.e. selecting projects according to a single feature like star number) under 60 configurations and the machine learning methods under 18 configurations were tested to identify the best configurations in precision and F‐measure for selecting PDPs and DPDPs. The results show that (1) to select PDPs or DPDPs with a high precision, the base line method is the best with precision of 0.877 (PDPs) and 0.831 (DPDPs); (2) to select PDPs or DPDPs with a high F‐measure, the machine learning methods are the best, with F‐measure of 0.817 (PDPs) and 0.789 (DPDPs); (3) existing sample selection strategies can be combined with the machine learning methods, and the precision of selecting PDPs can be increased by 6.39%–41.33% and the precision of selecting DPDPs can be can be increased by 35.50%–269.02%. Increasing evidence has shown that AdipoRon, a synthetic adiponectin receptor agonist, is involved in the regulation of whole-body insulin sensitivity and energy homeostasis. However, the mechanisms underlying these alterations remain unclear. Here, using hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp and isotopic tracing techniques, we show that short-term (10 days) AdipoRon administration indirectly inhibits lipolysis in white adipose tissue via increasing circulating levels of fibroblast growth factor 21 in mice fed a high-fat diet. This led to reduced plasma-free fatty acid concentrations and improved lipidinduced whole-body insulin resistance. In contrast, we found that long-term (20 days) AdipoRon administration directly exacerbated white adipose tissue lipolysis, increased hepatic gluconeogenesis, and impaired the tricarboxylic acid cycle in the skeletal muscle, resulting in aggravated whole-body insulin resistance.
