Introduction: Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is a common pathological type of lung cancer. The presence of lymph node metastasis plays a crucial role in determining the overall treatment approach and long‐term prognosis for early LUAD, therefore accurate prediction of lymph node metastasis is essential to guide treatment decisions and ultimately improve patient outcomes. Methods: We performed transcriptome sequencing on T1 LUAD patients with positive or negative lymph node metastases and combined this data with The Cancer Genome Atlas Program cohort to identify potential risk molecules at the tissue level. Subsequently, by detecting the expression of these risk molecules by real‐time quantitative PCR in serum samples, we developed a model to predict the risk of lymph node metastasis from a training cohort of 96 patients and a validation cohort of 158 patients. Results: Through transcriptome sequencing analysis of tissue samples, we identified 11 RNA (miR‐412, miR‐219, miR‐371, FOXC1, ID1, MMP13, COL11A1, PODXL2, CXCL13, SPOCK1 and MECOM) associated with positive lymph node metastases in T1 LUAD. As the expression of FOXC1 and COL11A1 was not detected in serum, we constructed a predictive model that accurately identifies patients with positive lymph node metastases using the remaining nine RNA molecules in the serum of T1 LUAD patients. In the training set, the model achieved an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.89, and in the validation set, the AUC was 0.91. Conclusions: We have established a new risk prediction model using serum samples from T1 LUAD patients, enabling noninvasive identification of those with positive lymph node metastases. Duplex stainless steels are widely used in many fields due to their excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. However, it is a challenge to achieve duplex microstructure and excellent properties through additive manufacturing. In this work, a 0.09% N 25Cr-type duplex stainless steel was prepared by additive manufacturing (AM) and heat treatment, and its corrosion resistance was investigated. The results show that, compared with S32750 duplex stainless steel prepared by a conventional process, the combination value of film resistance and charge transfer resistance of AM duplex stainless steel was increased by 3.2–5.5 times and the pitting potential was increased by more than 100 mV. The disappearance of residual thermal stress and the reasonable distribution of Cr and N elements in the two phases are the reasons for the improvement of the corrosion resistance of AM duplex stainless steel after heat treatment. In addition, the extremely high purity of AM duplex stainless steel with no visible inclusions resulted in a higher corrosion resistance exhibited at lower pitting-resistance-equivalent number values. Chinese classical gardens are a significant cultural heritage in the history of world gardening, with their central architectural principle of "scenes changing as steps move" (步移景异) embodying traditional Chinese aesthetic ideals. This study employed the variation of visual complexity during a tour as a representation of this principle, using Jingxinzhai (静心斋) Garden as a case study. The visual environmental characteristics were quantified using the Fraclab box-counting, Canny edge detection, and DeepLab V3 + model, and the spatial distribution of fractal dimension and visual index of landscape elements were analyzed. Through partial correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and one-way ANOVA, the relevant factors (BVI, RVI, GVI, WVI) and influencing factors (BVI, RVI, GVI) and the differences among landscape element combinations of visual complexity were identified. Furthermore, the distribution patterns and causes of visual complexity in Chinese classical gardens were then discussed. This study proposes an effective method for quantifying the visual environmental characteristics of Chinese classical gardens and provides an explanation of the concept of "scenes changing as steps move" from the perspective of visual environment. This study aims to establish precise quality indicators for evaluating and enhancing ultrasound performance, employing a methodology based on a comprehensive review of the literature, expert insights, and practical application experiences. We conducted a thorough review of both the domestic and international literature on ultrasound quality control to identify potential indicators. A dedicated team was formed to oversee the complete indicator development process. Utilizing a three-round modified Delphi method, we sought expert opinions through personalized email correspondence. Subsequently, data from diverse hospital indicators were collected to validate and assess feasibility. A novel set of seven indicators was compiled initially, followed by the convening of a 36-member nationally representative expert panel. After three rounds of meticulous revisions, consensus was reached on 13 indicators across three domains. These finalized indicators underwent application in various hospital settings, demonstrating their initial validity and feasibility. The development of thirteen ultrasound quality indicators represents a significant milestone in evaluating ultrasound performance. The orthogonal triangular factorization (QRF) method is a widespread tool to calculate eigenvalues and has been used for many practical applications. However, as an emerging topic, only a few works have been devoted to handling dynamic QR factorization (DQRF). Moreover, the traditional methods for dynamic problems suffer from lagging errors and are susceptible to noise, thereby being unable to satisfy the requirements of the real-time solution. In this paper, a bounded adaptive function activated recurrent neural network (BAFARNN) is proposed to solve the DQRF with a faster convergence speed and enhance existing solution methods' robustness. Theoretical analysis shows that the model can achieve global convergence in different environments. The results of the systematic experiment show that the BAFARNN model outperforms both the original ZNN (OZNN) model and the noise-tolerant zeroing neural network (NTZNN) model in terms of accuracy and convergence speed. For example, pharmacists failing to fully fulfil the responsibilities expected by their patients and/or to effectively communicate with their patients may lead to patients not trusting their pharmacists and thus disobeying the pharmacists' medication instructions.[15] Hospital pharmacists play an important role in improving patients' medication adherence in terms of drug supply, medication consultation and clinical pharmacy.[1],[16],[17] Patients' medication adherence is inevitably related to pharmacists' performance, and may also be dominated by their own social and psychological factors. Double-lumen endobronchial tube (DLT) intubation is more challenging than single-lumen tube intubation is, and the rigid video stylet (RVS) is one of the tools that has emerged to deal with this demanding intubation procedure. We evaluated whether the UE® RVS can shorten the DLT intubation time and improve the first-attempt intubation success rate compared with that of Macintosh laryngoscope (ML). A total of 130 participants scheduled to undergo thoracoscopic pulmonary surgeries were enrolled. They were randomized to receive either ML- or RVS-assisted DLT intubation. The primary outcomes were the intubation time and first-attempt intubation success rate. The secondary outcomes were the overall intubation success rate, mean arterial pressure, postoperative sore throat (POST), and postoperative hoarseness at 1 h and 24 h. Compared with the ML group, the intubation time was significantly shorter in the RVS group (p < 0.001; 30.82 ± 10.61 vs. 39.62 ± 6.54 s), however, the first-attempt success rate was significantly lower (p = 0.048; 83.08% vs. 95.16%). The POST at 1 h was less severe in the RVS group (p = 0.021). No significant differences were found for the other indicators. Among the patients with normal airways, the UE® RVS can achieve faster DLT intubation and decrease the severity of a POST at 1 h, although it was associated with a lower first-attempt intubation success rate. Engineering microbes to produce plant-derived natural products provides an alternate solution to obtain bioactive products. Here we report a systematic approach to sequentially identify the rate-limiting steps and improve the biosynthesis of the cannabinoid precursor olivetolic acid (OLA) in Yarrowia lipolytica. We find that Pseudomonas sp LvaE encoding a short-chain acyl-CoA synthetase can efficiently convert hexanoic acid to hexanoyl-CoA. The co-expression of the acetyl-CoA carboxylase, the pyruvate dehydrogenase bypass, the NADPH-generating malic enzyme, as well as the activation of peroxisomal β-oxidation pathway and ATP export pathway are effective strategies to redirect carbon flux toward OLA synthesis. Implementation of these strategies led to an 83-fold increase in OLA titer, reaching 9.18 mg/L of OLA in shake flask culture. This work may serve as a baseline for engineering cannabinoids biosynthesis in oleaginous yeast species. MAPKAPK2 (MK2) is an important regulator of the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38 MAPK) pathway, which is involved in a plethora of cellular processes concluding the development of gamete cells in meiosis and resisting pathogenic bacterial infestation. Hyriopsis cumingii is a significant mussel resource in China and a good material for pearl breeding. To explore the role of MK2 in H. cumingii, MK2 was identified and cloned, whose full-length cDNA was 1568 bp, including 87 bp in 5′ UTR, 398 bp in 3′ UTR, and 1083 bp in the open reading frame (ORF) region, encoding 360 amino acids. The expression of MK2 was the highest in the gills. Meanwhile, there was a significant difference in the gonads. After Aeromonas hydrophila and Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) infestation, the transcript level of the MK2 was upregulated in the gills. It indicated that MK2 might be involved in the innate immune response of H. cumingii after a pathogenic attack. After quantifying H. cumingii of different ages, it was found that the expression of MK2 was highest at 1 year old. In situ hybridization (ISH) results showed that the blue-purple hybridization signal was very significant in the oocytes and egg membranes of the female gonads of H. cumingii. The expression of MK2 increased gradually at the age of 1 to 5 months and showed a downward trend at the age of 5 to 8 months. It was suggested that MK2 might play an important role in the formation of primitive germ cells in H. cumingii. To sum up, MK2 might not only be involved in the immune response against pathogenic bacterial infection but also might play an important role in the development of the gonads in H. cumingii. Recently, the application of memristors to improve chaos complexity in discrete chaotic systems has been paid more and more attention to. To enrich the application examples of discrete memristor-based chaotic systems, this article proposes a new three-dimensional (3-D) memristor-based Lozi map by introducing a discrete memristor into the original two-dimensional (2-D) Lozi map. The proposed map has no fixed points but can generate hidden hyperchaos, so it is a hidden hyperchaotic map. The dynamical effects of the discrete memristor on the memristor-based Lozi map and two types of coexisting hidden attractors boosted by the initial conditions are demonstrated using some numerical methods. The numerical results clearly show that the introduced discrete memristor allows the proposed map to have complicated hidden dynamics evolutions and also exhibit heterogeneous and homogeneous hidden multistability. Navigation safety is one of the primary operational requirements for unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) in a complex marine environment, mainly guaranteed by a reliable path planning system for collision avoidance. This work proposes a novel weighted sum multi-objective optimisation strategy for USV collision avoidance path planning in restricted waters. In particular, the coefficients of different objectives could be tuned to emphasise the most critical design consideration under varying navigation scenarios. Moreover, in addition to the Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs), the terrain and weather constraints were also considered in the path planning system. The proposed USV collision avoidance path planning framework's effectiveness was demonstrated through numerical simulations and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tests. The numerical simulation results indicate that the proposed method could avoid collision with dynamic and static obstacles, and it is also adaptive to different navigation restrictions and preferences. Moreover, a USV navigation platform was established by incorporating true Automatic Identification System (AIS) signals, and HIL tests were performed with real-time AIS data in a water channel in the Zhoushan archipelago. Background: Studies on deep learning (DL)-based models in breast ultrasound (US) remain at the early stage due to a lack of large datasets for training and independent test sets for verification. We aimed to develop a DL model for differentiating benign from malignant breast lesions on US using a large multicenter dataset and explore the model's ability to assist the radiologists. Methods: A total of 14,043 US images from 5012 women were prospectively collected from 32 hospitals. To develop the DL model, the patients from 30 hospitals were randomly divided into a training cohort (n = 4149) and an internal test cohort (n = 466). The remaining 2 hospitals (n = 397) were used as the external test cohorts (ETC). We compared the model with the prospective Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System assessment and five radiologists. We also explored the model's ability to assist the radiologists using two different methods. Results: The model demonstrated excellent diagnostic performance with the ETC, with a high area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC, 0.913), sensitivity (88.84%), specificity (83.77%), and accuracy (86.40%). In the comparison set, the AUC was similar to that of the expert (p = 0.5629) and one experienced radiologist (p = 0.2112) and significantly higher than that of three inexperienced radiologists (p < 0.01). After model assistance, the accuracies and specificities of the radiologists were substantially improved without loss in sensitivities. Conclusions: The DL model yielded satisfactory predictions in distinguishing benign from malignant breast lesions. Proximal policy optimization (PPO) is a deep reinforcement learning algorithm based on the actor–critic (AC) architecture. In the classic AC architecture, the Critic (value) network is used to estimate the value function while the Actor (policy) network optimizes the policy according to the estimated value function. The efficiency of the classic AC architecture is limited due that the policy does not directly participate in the value function update. The classic AC architecture will make the value function estimation inaccurate, which will affect the performance of the PPO algorithm. For improvement, we designed a novel AC architecture with policy feedback (AC-PF) by introducing the policy into the update process of the value function and further proposed the PPO with policy feedback (PPO-PF). For the AC-PF architecture, the policy-based expected (PBE) value function and discount reward formulas are designed by drawing inspiration from expected Sarsa. In order to enhance the sensitivity of the value function to the change of policy and to improve the accuracy of PBE value estimation at the early learning stage, we proposed a policy update method based on the clipped discount factor. Moreover, we specifically defined the loss functions of the policy network and value network to ensure that the policy update of PPO-PF satisfies the unbiased estimation of the trust region. Loaders are widely used in the construction of earthworks for construction projects. Due to the large volume and mass of these machines, they have shortcomings such as low driving efficiency and high energy consumption. To address these shortcomings, this work applied eclectic drive technology to a loader's traction system. A wheel electric drive system with a switched reluctance driver (SRD) was developed. The operating principle and basic structure of the SRD system were analyzed. A new voltage PWM-controlled strategy with dynamic adjustable turn-on and turn-off angles and a single conducting phase in a fixed period was developed. Then, an SRD simulation model was established in MATLAB/Simulink. A simulation of the working condition for the loader was performed. A test bench for the SRD was built and accordingly the transportation and operation conditions were tested. The corresponding speed–time curve of transportation and operation was obtained. Simulation and experiment results showed that the electric drive system with SRD had excellent responses to changes in torque and speed and adapted well to the various working conditions of the loader. As a popular research direction in the field of intelligent transportation, various scholars have widely concerned themselves with traffic sign detection However, there are still some key issues that need to be further solved in order to thoroughly apply related technologies to real scenarios, such as the feature extraction scheme of traffic sign images, the optimal selection of detection methods, and the objective limitations of detection tasks. For the purpose of overcoming these difficulties, this paper proposes a lightweight real-time traffic sign detection integration framework based on YOLO by combining deep learning methods. The framework optimizes the latency concern by reducing the computational overhead of the network, and facilitates information transfer and sharing at diverse levels. While improving the detection efficiency, it ensures a certain degree of generalization and robustness, and enhances the detection performance of traffic signs in objective environments, such as scale and illumination changes. The proposed model is tested and evaluated on real road scene datasets and compared with the current mainstream advanced detection models to verify its effectiveness. In addition, this paper successfully finds a reasonable balance between detection performance and deployment difficulty by effectively reducing the computational cost, which provides a possibility for realistic deployment on edge devices with limited hardware conditions, such as mobile devices and embedded devices. As an emerging form of pollution, microplastic contamination of the coastal ecosystems is one of the world's most pressing environmental concerns. Coastal sediments have been polluted to varying degrees by microplastics, and their ubiquitous presence in sediments poses a threat to marine organisms. However, there is currently no ecological risk assessment of microplastics on aquatic biota in sediments. This study, for the first time, established a new procedure to evaluate the toxicity of microplastics on aquatic biota in sediments, based on the probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) concept. The choice of Zhelin Bay as the case study site was based on its severe pollution status. The average content of microplastics in the sediments of Zhelin Bay was 2054.17 items kg−1 dry weight, and these microplastics consisted of 46 different species. Microplastics in sediments exist in five different forms, with the film form being the main composition, and the majority of microplastics have particle sizes ranging from 100 to 500 μm. Correlation analysis (CA) reveals significant negative correlations between microplastic abundance, and Al 2 O 3 and SiO 2. The toxicity of microplastics, based on the PRA concept, suggests that Zhelin Bay surface sediments had a low probability (3.43%) of toxic effects on aquatic biota. Background: Autohydrolysis is an extensively investigated pretreatment method due to its environmental friendliness. During autohydrolysis, most xylan from hemicellulose can be converted into xylooligosaccharides (XOS), and cellulose in the autohydrolyzed residues can be transformed into glucose after enzymatic hydrolysis. Both of these are value-added biochemicals in the biorefining process. In this work, paper mulberry (PM), which contains abundant protein, was utilized as a raw material to coproduce XOS and single-cell protein (SCP) through autohydrolysis and fermentation technologies. Results: The results showed that 8.3 g of XOS and 1.8 g of amino acids could be recovered in the autohydrolysate (based on 100 g raw material) after autohydrolysis (170 °C, 1 h). Moreover, 5.7 g of low-DP XOS along with 1.8 g of amino acids could be further obtained from the autohydrolysate after hydrolysis with endo-β-1-4-xylanase. In addition, 20.1 g of fermentable monosaccharides was recovered after hydrolyzing the autohydrolyzed PM with cellulase, which can be used to produce 4.8 g of SCP after fermentation with Candida utilis. Conclusion: As a valuable application of PM, a novel process is proposed to coproduce amino acid-rich XOS and SCP through autohydrolysis. Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most intractable tumors in the world due to its high rate of recurrence and heterogeneity. Liver cancer initiating cells also called cancer stem cells (CSCs) play a critical role in resistance against typical therapy and high tumor-initiating potential. However, the role of the novel circular RNA (circRNA) circIPO11 in the maintenance of liver cancer initiating cells remains elusive. Methods: CircRNAs highly conserved in humans and mice were identified from 3 primary HCC samples by circRNA array. The expression and function of circIPO11 were further evaluated by Northern blot, limiting dilution xenograft analysis, chromatin isolation by RNA purification-PCR assay (ChIRP) and HCC patient-derived tumor cells (PDC) models. CircIpo11 knockout (KO) mice were generated by a CRISPR/Cas9 technology. Results: CircIPO11 is highly expressed in HCC tumor tissues and liver CSCs. CircIPO11 is required for the self-renewal maintenance of liver CSCs to initiate HCC development. Mechanistically, circIPO11 recruits TOP1 to GLI1 promoter to trigger its transcription, leading to the activation of Hedgehog signaling. Moreover, GLI1 is also highly expressed in HCC tumor tissues and liver CSCs, and TOP1 expression levels positively correlate with the metastasis, recurrence and survival of HCC patients. Additionally, circIPO11 knockout in mice suppresses the progression of chemically induced liver cancer development. Conclusion: Our findings reveal that circIPO11 drives the self-renewal of liver CSCs and promotes the propagation of HCC via activating Hedgehog signaling pathway. Antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) against circIPO11 combined with TOP1 inhibitor camptothecin (CPT) exert synergistic antitumor effect. Zinc tin oxide (ZTO) thin films can be deposited by atomic layer deposition (ALD) with adjustable electrical, optical and structural properties. However, the ternary ALD processes usually suffer from low growth rate and difficulty in controlling film thickness and elemental composition, due to the interaction of ZnO and SnO 2 processes. In this work, ZTO thin films with different Sn levels are prepared by ALD super cycles using diethylzinc, tetrakis(dimethylamido)tin, and water. It is observed that both the film growth rate and atom composition show nonlinear variation versus [Sn]/([Sn]+[Zn]) cycle ratio. The experimental thickness measured by spectroscopic ellipsometry and X-ray reflectivity are much lower than the expected thickness linearly interpolated from pure ZnO and SnO x films. The [Sn]/([Sn]+[Zn]) atom ratios estimated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy have higher values than that expected from the cycle ratios. Hence, to characterize the film growth behavior versus cycle ratio, a numerical method is proposed by simulating the effect of reduced density and reactivity of surface hydroxyls and surface etching reactions. The structure, electrical and optical properties of ZTO with different Sn levels are also examined by X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscope, Hall measurements and ultraviolet–visible–infrared transmittance spectroscopy. The ZTO turns out to be transparent nanocrystalline or amorphous films with smooth surface. Heavy metals (HMs) are routine contaminants due to their extensive use worldwide. Rare earth elements (REEs) are emerging contaminants because of their global exploitation for use in the high-tech sector. Diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT) are an effective method for measuring the bioavailable component of pollutants. This study represents the first assessment of the mixture toxicity of HMs and REEs in aquatic biota using the DGT technique in sediments. Xincun Lagoon was chosen as the case study site because it has been contaminated by pollutants. Nonmetric multidimensional scaling (NMS) analysis reveals that a wide variety of pollutants (Cd, Pb, Ni, Cu, InHg, Co, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, and Yb) are primarily impacted by sediment characteristics. Appraisal of single HM-REE toxicity reveals that the risk quotient (RQ) values for Y, Yb and Ce notably exceeded 1, demonstrating that the adverse effects of these single HMs and REEs should not be ignored. The combined toxicity of HM-REE mixtures in terms of probabilistic ecological risk assessment shows that the Xincun surface sediments had a medium probability (31.29%) of toxic effects on aquatic biota. Xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS) enriched with high fractions of X2-X3 are regarded as an effective prebiotic for regulating the intestinal microflora. In this study, the original XOS solution was obtained from bamboo shoots through hydrothermal pretreatment under optimized conditions. Subsequently, enzymatic hydrolysis with endo-xylanase was performed on the original XOS solution to enhance the abundance of the X2-X3 fractions. The results demonstrated that hydrothermal pretreatment yielded 21.24% of XOS in the hydrolysate solution, and subsequent enzymatic hydrolysis significantly increased the proportion of the X2-X3 fractions from 38.87% to 68.21%. Moreover, the XOS solutions with higher amounts of X2-X3 fractions exhibited superior performance in promoting the growth of probiotics such as Bifidobacterium adolescentis and Lactobacillus acidophilus in vitro, leading to increased production of short-chain fatty acids. In the in vivo colitis mouse model, XOS solutions with higher contents of X2-X3 fractions demonstrated enhanced efficacy against intestinal inflammation. Compared with the colitis mice (model group), the XOS solution with higher X2-X3 fractions (S1 group) could significantly increase the number of Streptomyces in the intestinal microflora, while the original XOS solution (S2 group) could significantly increase the number of Bacteroides in the intestinal microflora of colitis mice. In addition, the abundances of Alcaligenes and Pasteurella in the intestinal microflora of the S1 and S2 groups were much lower than in the model group. This effect was attributed to the ability of these XOS solutions to enhance species diversity, reversing the imbalance and disorder within the intestinal microflora. Overall, this work highlights the outstanding potential of XOS enriched with high contents of X2-X3 fractions as a regulator of the intestinal microbiota and as an anti-colitis agent. Rice husks are a feedstock of biogenic silica because of their high silica content. After silica extraction, a solid residue comprising mostly carbohydrates is present. Solid residue valorization is important for closed-loop systems using rice husk and has minimal negative environmental impacts. In this study, we used solid rice husk that was generated by silica extractionto anaerobic digestion for producing biomethane. The rice husk residue was characterized in terms of total solids, volatile solids, pH, composition, and particle size. Changing the characteristics increased biogas production by 2.48-fold compared to that of raw rice husk. The residue produced 166.4 mL-biogas g−1 vs. and 100.4 mL CH 4 g−1 VS, much more than previously reported. Microbial community analysis, which was conducted to investigate the biological reasons for increased biogas and methane, found increased Bacteroidetes levels in the rice husk samples. Among archaeal communities, Bathyarchaeota was more abundant in all rice husk samples than in the inoculum. The rice husk residue contained more operational taxonomic units than other samples. These changes in the microbial community significantly influenced the anaerobic digestion of the rice husk residue and improved methane production. Rare earth elements (REEs) are increasingly used in the high-tech sectors in the world and are therefore called burgeoning contaminants. As diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT) can be used to assess the bioavailability of inorganic matters, in this paper, we evaluated, for the first time, the ecotoxicology risks of REEs and their mixtures in river sediments of China's old industrial base by DGT. During our research, taking the Songhua River system (SRS) as an example, we detected its surficial sediments, of which the DGT-labile concentration of REEs (∑REEs) was 2.07–8.76 μg/L. As for the single toxicity, the risk quotient (RQ) values of Y at all sites were significantly greater than 1; while the values of Nd and Pr in some upstream reaches were all significantly greater than the threshold (1), indicating that these adverse effects of single REEs were not neglected. Chydoridae are phytophilic-benthic microcrustaceans that make up a significant proportion of species diversity and play an important role in the littoral zone of freshwater ecosystems worldwide. Here, we provide the complete mitochondrial genome of Ovalona pulchella (King, 1853), determined by next-generation sequencing. The entire mitochondrial genome is 15,362 bp in length; this is the first sequenced mitochondrial genome in the family Chydoridae. The base composition and codon usage were typical of Cladocera species. The mitochondrial gene arrangement (37 genes) was not consistent with that of other Branchiopoda. Both maximum likelihood and Bayesian analyses supported each suborder and family of Branchiopoda as monophyletic groups. The relationships among the families were as follows: [(Leptestheriidae + Limnadiidae) + (Sididae + (Bosminidae + (Chydoridae + Daphniidae)))] + Triopsidae. The newly sequenced O. pulchella was most closely related to the family Daphniidae. Considering that heavy-metal contamination of seawater is getting worse, building a quick, accurate and portable device for detecting trace zinc in seawater in real time would be very beneficial. In this work, a microfluidic system was developed that includes a planar disc electrode, a micro-cavity for detection, an electrochemical workstation, a computer, a container for waste liquid reprocessing, an external pipeline and other components as well as a graphene/cerium oxide/nano-cerium oxide/Nafion composite membrane was used to modify the planar disc electrode (GR/CeO2/Nafion/Au) to investigate the electrochemical behaviour of Zn(II) using cyclic voltammetry, square-wave voltammetry and orthogonal test methods. Under optimal experimental conditions, the peak reaction current of Zn(II) showed a good linear relationship with the concentration of Zn(II) in the range of 1–900 μg/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.998, and the detection limit of the method was 0.87 μg/L. In addition, the microfluidic system had good stability, reproducibility and anti-interference. The system was used for determining zinc ions in real seawater samples, and the results were very similar to those of inductively coupled plasma–emission spectrometry, demonstrating the practicality of the system for the detection of trace zinc. Hydrological variation is well-known to affect the morphological plasticity of aquatic macrophytes; however, whether these responses are size-dependent ("apparent plasticity") or not ("real plasticity") remains unclear, particularly with respect to the water exchange rate (WER). Here, we used allometric analysis to investigate the morphological plasticity and the carbon, nitrogen (N), and phosphorus stoichiometry of the submerged macrophyte Vallisneria natans cultured for 15, 30, 45, and 65 days under three levels of WER (0, 20, and 40% exchange of total volume day−1). We found that the negative effects of a higher WER on plant growth were primarily attributable to a deficiency in dissolved carbon dioxide, which resulted in shorter and thicker roots, smaller leaves (decreased width and length), higher specific leaf area, and lower below-: above-ground biomass ratios. Allometric analyses showed that the changes in root length reflected real plasticity, whereas other root and leaf adjustments indicated apparent plasticity. Furthermore, stoichiometric calculations indicated that N limited the growth of leaf tissues more than root tissues, thereby restricting the potential for real plasticity in leaf morphology. In deserts, pond cladocerans suffer harsh conditions like low and erratic rainfall, high evaporation, and highly variable salinity, and they have limited species richness. The limited species can take advantage of ephippia or resting eggs for being dispersed with winds in such habitats. Thus, environmental selection is assumed to play a major role in community assembly, especially at a fine spatial scale. Located in Inner Mongolia, the Ulan Buh desert has plenty of temporary water bodies and a few permanent lakes filled by groundwater. To determine species diversity and the role of environmental selection in community assembly in such a harsh environment, we sampled 37 sand ponds in June 2012. Fourteen species of Cladocera were found in total, including six pelagic species, eight littoral species, and two benthic species. These cladocerans were mainly temperate and cosmopolitan fauna. Our classification and regression tree model showed that conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and pH were the main factors correlated with species richness in the sand ponds. Spatial analysis using a PCNM model demonstrated a broad-scale spatial structure in the cladoceran communities. Conductivity was the most significant environmental variable explaining cladoceran community variation. Two species, Moina cf. brachiata and Ceriodaphnia reticulata occurred commonly, with an overlap at intermediate conductivity. With the rapid development of object detection technology for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), it is convenient to collect data from UAV aerial photographs. They have a wide range of applications in several fields, such as monitoring, geological exploration, precision agriculture, and disaster early warning. In recent years, many methods based on artificial intelligence have been proposed for UAV object detection, and deep learning is a key area in this field. Significant progress has been achieved in the area of deep-learning-based UAV object detection. Thus, this paper presents a review of recent research on deep-learning-based UAV object detection. This survey provides an overview of the development of UAVs and summarizes the deep-learning-based methods in object detection for UAVs. In addition, the key issues in UAV object detection are analyzed, such as small object detection, object detection under complex backgrounds, object rotation, scale change, and category imbalance problems. Then, some representative solutions based on deep learning for these issues are summarized. Finally, future research directions in the field of UAV object detection are discussed. Background: Berberine (BBR) is a commonly used anti-intestinal inflammation drug, and its anti-cancer activity has been found recently. BBR can intervene and control malignant colorectal cancer (CRC) through intestinal microbes, but the direct molecular target and related mechanism are unclear. This study aimed to identify the target of BBR and dissect related mechanisms against the occurrence and development of CRC from the perspective of intestinal microorganisms. Results: Here, we found that BBR inhibits the growth of several CRC-driving bacteria, especially Peptostreptococcus anaerobius. By using a biotin-conjugated BBR derivative, we identified the protein FtfL (formate tetrahydrofolate ligase), a key enzyme in C1 metabolism, is the molecular target of BBR in P. anaerobius. BBR exhibits strong binding affinity and potent inhibition on FtfL. Based on this, we determined the crystal structure of PaFtfL (P. anaerobius FtfL)-BBR complex and found that BBR can not only interfere with the conformational flexibility of PaFtfL tetramer by wedging the tetramer interface but also compete with its substrate ATP for binding within the active center. In addition, the enzymatic activities of FtfL homologous proteins in human tumor cells can also be inhibited by BBR. Conclusions: In summary, our study has identified FtfL as a direct target of BBR and uncovered molecular mechanisms involved in the anti-CRC of BBR. Phenanthrene (PHE), as a structurally simple, tricyclic, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs), is widely present in marine environments and organisms, with serious ecological and health impacts. It is crucial to study fast and simple high-sensitivity detection methods for phenanthrene in seawater for the environment and the human body. In this paper, a immunosensor was prepared by using a multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWCNTs)-chitosan oligosaccharide (COS) nanocomposite membrane loaded with phenanthrene antibody. The principle was based on the antibody–antigen reaction in the immune reaction, using the strong electron transfer ability of multi-walled carbon nanotubes, coupled with chitosan oligosaccharides with an excellent film formation and biocompatibility, to amplify the detection signal. The content of the phenanthrene in seawater was studied via differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) using a potassium ferricyanide system as a redox probe. The antibody concentration, pH value, and probe concentration were optimized. Under the optimal experimental conditions, the response peak current of the phenanthrene was inversely proportional to the concentration of phenanthrene, in the range from 0.5 ng·mL−1 to 80 ng·mL−1, and the detection limit was 0.30 ng·mL−1. The immune sensor was successfully applied to the detection of phenanthrene in marine water, with a recovery rate of 96.1~101.5%, and provided a stable, sensitive, and accurate method for the real-time monitoring of marine environments. Centralized vs. decentralized sewage treatment is one of the key issues in the planning of rural sewage treatment (RST) in China due to the country's diverse regional characteristics. There are very limited comprehensive evaluation models for selecting regionally suitable schemes and facilities, particularly for national or provisional scale planning. As a scenario-based multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) issue, this paper develops a novel RST suitability evaluation model by integrating the multi-attribute analytic hierarchy process (AHP) with the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS). The suitability evaluation model sets up 3 small-centralized and 4 decentralized RST facilities as candidates and includes 12 evaluation indicators that cover economic cost, life cycle environmental impacts, technical features and operations management. Eight generic scenarios are classified for Chinese rural areas based on differences in three major characteristic factors, i.e., population density (PD), the economic development level (EDL), and topographic slope (TS). The universal evaluation results show that a centralized sewage treatment scheme is more suitable for areas with a high PD/high EDL/low TS, while a decentralized scheme is more suitable for areas with a low PD/low EDL/high TS. Sensitivity analysis shows that in regions with a high PD/low EDL, the indicator weight of the construction investment cost in the model has a great influence on the facility suitability ranking. However, in regions with a high PD/high EDL, the ranking is the most sensitive to the indicator weights of the global warming potential and sewage treatment effect. Furthermore, as a spatial decision issue, an RST suitability map of Hunan Province in China is produced at the county level of resolution, and the map is generally consistent with our field knowledge of several counties in Hunan Province. Real-life business processes may change over time in response to new business requirements, market changes, new policies or regulations, etc., which is called concept drift in the data mining area. How to identify and deal with the concept drift problem is a significant challenge in business process mining. Currently, the research mainly focuses on the problems of concept drift detection. However, the proposed approaches do not intuitively explain how the process changes. In this paper, we provide an integrated framework whose core technique is an A utomatic and I ncremental approach for business process M odel r E pair under concept D rift (AIMED). AIMED streamlines the functions of concept drift detection, localization and model repair. More specifically, when concept drift is detected, it updates the process model automatically by precisely localizing the sub-structure of the process model that concept drift affects and updating this sub-structure accordingly. Concept drift is explained intuitively by presenting the repaired model. In particular, AIMED can resist the noise that greatly affects the performance of current concept drift detection and process model repair techniques. The properties of AIMED are theoretically proven. We also conduct extensive experiments on synthetic logs as well as real-life logs. The experiment results show that AIMED outperforms the state-of-the-art methods in both concept drift detection and process model repair and works well even when there is noise in logs. C-Mos, a proto-oncogene, regulates oocyte maturation by activating the classical MAPK pathway in cells. To examine the function of C-Mos in Hyriopsis cumingii, C-Mos was identified in this study. The full-length cDNA of C-Mos was 2213 bp, including 144 bp in the 5′ UTR, 923 bp in 3′ the UTR, and 1146 bp in the open reading frame (ORF) region. During early gonad development, the expression of C-Mos from 4 to 6 months of age in H. cumingii was significantly higher than that in other months, with the highest expression in 6-month-old H. cumingii, suggesting that C-Mos may be involved in early gonadal development in H. cumingii. Clear hybridization signals were found by in situ hybridization in the oocytes, oocyte nucleus and oogonium, and a small number of hybridization signals were found in the follicular wall of the male gonads. In addition, the C-Mos RNA interference (RNAi) assay results showed that the knockdown of C-Mos caused a down-regulation of ERK and P90rsk. With the use of lithium batteries increasing year by year, resulting in a large number of waste lithium-ion batteries generated, bringing pressure to the ecological system while also causing a waste of Co resources. Although Co-based catalysts are also of interest in the Li–CO 2 system, no research has been reported on the preparation of catalysts for value-added utilization of recovered Co. In this paper, Li–CO 2 batteries with Co 3 O 4 /CNT cathodes were prepared by environmentally friendly hydrothermal method employing cobalt oxalate recycled from waste lithium-ion batteries as a Co source in combination with commercial CNT. Unlike traditional noble metal and transition metal-based catalysts, which are expensive and complicated, this work can further reduce the cost of batteries by recycling valuable Co sources from waste lithium-ion batteries. As a result, the battery has the discharge capacity of 2728 mAh g−1 at a current density of 100 mA g−1. Not only that, but it can reach more than 85 cycles at a limited capacity of 400 mAh g−1. Escherichia coli, one of the most efficient expression hosts for recombinant proteins (RPs), is widely used in chemical, medical, food and other industries. However, conventional expression strains are unable to effectively express proteins with complex structures or toxicity. To accelerate the practical application of Li–O 2 batteries. A catalyst with outstanding oxygen reduction reaction and oxygen evolution reaction catalytic activity is required. Here, in-situ growth ZIF-67 within three-dimensional nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide (3D-N/rGO) layers was used to investigate a bifunctional catalyst. The inner space is supported by ZIF-67 particles, while 3D-N/rGO extends a suitable three-phase reaction interface and enhances O 2 adsorbability. When assembled battery with normal electrolyte, it delivered a high specific capacity of 12028 mAh g−1, and stabilised for 203 cycles at 200 mA g−1 with a limited capacity of 500 mAh g−1. When LiBr-gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) was used instead of electrolyte the lithium metal anode, the polarisation value of LiBr-GPE in Li/Li batteries was only about 0.0384 V after continuous working for 1600 h. When used as a cathode catalyst in Li–O 2 batteries, the electrode performance was doubled compared with using the normal electrolyte. Methanol is a promising green feedstock for producing fuels and chemicals because it is inexpensive, clean, environmentally friendly, and easily prepared. Thus, many studies have been devoted to engineering non-native methylotrophic platform microorganisms to utilize methanol. This study adopted a series of strategies to develop a synthetic methylotrophic Bacillus subtilis that can use methanol as the carbon source, including the heterologous expression of methanol dehydrogenase (Mdh), enhancement of the expressions of 3-hexulose-6-phosphate synthase (Hps) and 6-phospho-3-hexuloisomerase (Phi), regulation of the expressions of key enzymes at both the translational and transcriptional levels, stabilization of the key enzyme expression through a dual-system for expressing the target genes on both the plasmid and genome, and improvement of the catalytic activity of Mdh with a recycling strategy for NAD+. As a result, the methanol consumption of the synthetic methylotrophic B. subtilis reached 4.09 g/L, with the maximum OD 600 showing a 2.21-fold increase compared with the wild-type B. subtilis , which cannot use methanol. We further deleted the phosphoglucose isomerase (Pgi) and added co-substrates to increase the supply of ribulose-5-phosphate (Ru-5-P), and the specific methanol consumption rate increased by an additional 27.54%. Finally, we successfully constructed two strains that cannot grow in M9 medium with xylose or ribose unless methanol is utilized. Nickel sulfides are perfect anode materials for high-capacity and low-cost lithium-ion batteries (LIBs); however, with the shortcoming of polysulfide intermediate dissolution, volume expansion exceeding the limit during cycling also restricts their development. Herein, NiS/C composite materials are successfully anchored on chestnut shell fluff (CSF)-derived biochar by a glucose-auxiliary hydrothermal method along with an annealing treatment. The CSF biochar acts as an effective electron transmission channel for the rapid lithiation/delithiation of NiS and as a fixed sulfur carrier for inhibiting the dissolution of polysulfide. Glucose restrains the accumulation of NiS particles and then transforms into uniform amorphous carbon during annealing, which is more effective in buffering for rapid volume variation. Moreover, the CSF-NiS/C electrode exhibits a remarkable specific capacity of 1522.8 mAh g-1 (0.1 A g-1) and distinguished rate performance with 295 mAh g-1 capacity (3 A g-1), which are better than those of the pure NiS/C anode material displays. Researchers may be inspired by both of these reasonable design and synthesis strategies that are beneficial for the development of high-performance nickel-based sulfide anode materials for LIBs. Parabens are widely added to food, cosmetics, and medicines as preservatives and are typical contaminants of pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs). However, their fate and transport in urban watersheds remain largely unexplored. This study investigated the role of road runoff as a critical nonpoint source of parabens and their metabolites in urban rivers based on 73 multimedia (road runoff and dust in different urban land uses, wastewater, stormwater discharge and river water) samples collected from a highly urbanized drainage area. Seven parabens and five metabolites were detected in the road runoff, with mean concentrations of ∑parabens and ∑metabolites equal to 47.5 ng/L and 4710 ng/L, respectively. The concentrations in road runoff were comparable to those in treated wastewater and river water and showed a land use pattern of residential > industrial > commercial. A first flush effect of the contaminants was observed in a heavy rainfall event with an antecedent dry period. In general, the population-based and area-based emission intensities of ∑parabens and ∑metabolites in road runoff were one order of magnitude higher than those in wastewater effluent during the rainfall events. Excessive fat accumulation can lead to obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, and other diseases. MicroRNAs are a class of microRNAs that regulate gene expression and are highly conserved in function among species. microRNAs have been shown to act as regulatory factors to inhibit fat accumulation in the body. We found that miR-370-3p was expressed at lower levels in the fat mass of mice on a high-fat diet than in mice on a normal control diet. Furthermore, our data showed that the overexpression of miR-370-3p significantly suppressed the mRNA expression levels of adipogenic markers. Thus, miR-370-3p overexpression reduced lipid accumulation. Conversely, the inhibition of miR-370-3p suppressed 3T3-L1 preadipocyte proliferation and promoted preadipocyte differentiation. In addition, Mknk1, a target gene of miR-370-3p, plays an opposing role in preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation. Moreover, consistent results from in vitro as well as in vivo experiments suggest that the inhibition of fat accumulation by miR-370-3p may result from the inhibition of saturated fatty acids that promote the accumulation of polyunsaturated fatty acids. In recent years, frequent severe haze weather has formed in China, including some of the most populated areas. We found that these smog-prone areas are often relatively a "local climate" and aim to explore this series of scientific problems. This paper uses remote sensing and data mining methods to study the correlation between haze weather and local climate. First, we select Beijing, China and its surrounding areas (East longitude 115°20′11″–117°40′35″, North latitude 39°21′11″–41°7′51″) as the study area. We collected data from meteorological stations in Beijing and Xianghe from March 2014 to February 2015, and analyzed the meteorological parameters through correlation analysis and a grey correlation model. We study the correlation between the six influencing factors of temperature, dew point, humidity, wind speed, air pressure and visibility and PM2.5, so as to analyze the correlation between haze weather and local climate more comprehensively. The results show that the influence of each index on PM2.5 in descending order is air pressure, wind speed, humidity, dew point, temperature and visibility. The qualitative analysis results confirm each other. Among them, air pressure (correlation 0.771) has the greatest impact on haze weather, and visibility (correlation 0.511) is the weakest.
