With the advancement of computer performance, deep learning is playing a vital role on hardware platforms. Indoor scene segmentation is a challenging deep learning task because indoor objects tend to obscure each other, and the dense layout increases the difficulty of segmentation. Still, current networks pursue accuracy improvement, sacrifice speed, and augment memory resource usage. To solve this problem, achieve a compromise between accuracy, speed, and model size. This paper proposes Multichannel Fusion Network (MFNet) for indoor scene segmentation, which mainly consists of Dense Residual Module(DRM) and Multi-scale Feature Extraction Module(MFEM). MFEM uses depthwise separable convolution to cut the number of parameters, matches different sizes of convolution kernels and dilation rates to achieve optimal receptive field; DRM fuses feature maps at several levels of resolution to optimize segmentation details. Experimental results on the NYU V2 dataset show that the proposed method achieves very competitive results compared with other advanced algorithms, with a segmentation speed of 38.47 fps, nearly twice that of Deeplab v3+, but only 1/5 of the number of parameters of Deeplab v3 +. To solve the problem of spacecraft attitude manoeuvre planning under dynamic multiple mandatory pointing constraints and prohibited pointing constraints, a systematic attitude manoeuvre planning approach is proposed that is based on improved policy gradient reinforcement learning. This paper presents a succinct model of dynamic multiple constraints that is similar to a real situation faced by an in-orbit spacecraft. By introducing return baseline and adaptive policy exploration methods, the proposed method overcomes issues such as large variances and slow convergence rates. Concurrently, the required computation time of the proposed method is markedly reduced. Using the proposed method, the near optimal path of the attitude manoeuvre can be determined, making the method suitable for the control of micro spacecraft. Simulation results demonstrate that the planning results fully satisfy all constraints, including six prohibited pointing constraints and two mandatory pointing constraints. The cryptographic system is the foundation of blockchain security mechanisms. This paper constructs a blockchain security mechanism based on the Chinese national cryptographic SM2 algorithm, involving the generation of public–private key pairs and the signing of block information using key pairs. However, the original SM2 algorithm has a high computational complexity, which cannot meet the requirements of low on-chain delay in blockchain applications. To solve this problem, this paper optimizes the SM2 digital signature algorithm. The scalar multiplication operation in the digital signature algorithm has a large computational complexity, which affects the efficiency of a digital signature. To reduce its computational complexity, this paper improves the traditional window non-adjacent form (w-NAF) algorithm for the scalar multiplication operation and proposes a low computational complexity Fw-NAF algorithm based on the prime number precomputation window, which greatly reduces its computational complexity. Smart security based on object detection is one of the important applications of edge computing in IoT. Anchors in object detection refer to points on the feature map, which can be used to generate anchor boxes and serve as training samples. Current object detection models do not consider the aspect ratio of the ground-truth boxes in anchor assignment and are not well-adapted to objects with very different shapes. Therefore, this paper proposes the Lightweight Anchor Dynamic Assignment algorithm (LADA) for object detection. LADA does not change the structure of the original detection model; first, it selects an equal proportional center region based on the aspect ratio of the ground-truth box, then calculates the combined loss of anchors, and finally divides the positive and negative samples more efficiently by dynamic loss threshold without additional models. The algorithm solves the problems of poor adaptability and difficulty in the selection of the best positive samples based on IoU assignment, and the sample assignment for eccentric objects and objects with different aspect ratios was more reasonable. Compared with existing sample assignment algorithms, the LADA algorithm outperforms the MS COCO dataset by 1.66% over the AP of the baseline FCOS, and 0.76% and 0.24% over the AP of the ATSS algorithm and the PAA algorithm, respectively, with the same model structure, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the LADA algorithm. The paper proposes a topology-free specification of distributed control systems by means of a process-oriented programming paradigm. The proposed approach was characterized, on the one hand, by a topologically independent specification of the control algorithm and, on the other hand, by the possibility of using existing formal verification methods by preserving the semantics of a centralized process-oriented program. The paper discusses the advantages of a topologically independent specification of distributed control systems, outlines the features of control software, argues why the use of a process-oriented approach to the development of the automation of cyber-physical systems is suitable for solving these problems, describes a general scheme for implementing a distributed control system according to a process-oriented specification, and proposes a formal heuristic algorithm for partitioning a sequential process-oriented program into independent clusters. Most deep-learning-based object detection algorithms exhibit low speeds and accuracy in gear surface defect detection due to their high computational costs and complex structures. To solve this problem, a lightweight model for gear surface defect detection, namely STMS-YOLOv5, is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the ShuffleNetv2 module is employed as the backbone to reduce the giga floating-point operations per second and the number of parameters. Secondly, transposed convolution upsampling is used to enhance the learning capability of the network. Thirdly, the max efficient channel attention mechanism is embedded in the neck to compensate for the accuracy loss caused by the lightweight backbone. Finally, the SIOU_Loss is adopted as the bounding box regression loss function in the prediction part to speed up the model convergence. Experiments show that STMS-YOLOv5 achieves frames per second of 130.4 and 133.5 on the gear and NEU-DET steel surface defect datasets, respectively. The number of parameters and GFLOPs are reduced by 44.4% and 50.31%, respectively, while the mAP@0.5 reaches 98.6% and 73.5%, respectively. This study focuses on the load balancing of the transactions in the blockchain. The problem is how to assign these transactions to the blocks. The objective is to guarantee a load balancing of the workload in the time of blocks. The proposed problem is an NP-hard one. To face the hardness of the studied problem, the challenge is to develop algorithms that solve the problem approximately. Finding an approximate solution is a real challenge. In this paper, nine algorithms are proposed. These algorithms are based on the dispatching-rules method, randomization approach, clustering algorithms, and iterative method. The proposed algorithms return approximate solutions in a remarkable time. In addition, in this paper, a novel architecture composed of blocks is proposed. This architecture adds the component "Balancer". This component is responsible to call the best-proposed algorithm and solve the scheduling problem in a polynomial time. In addition, the proposed work helps users to solve the problem of big data concurrency. These algorithms are coded and compared. The performance of these algorithms is tested over three classes of instances. These classes are generated based on uniform distribution. The total number of instances tested is 1350. The average gap, execution time, and the percentage of the best-reached value are used as metrics to measure the performance of the proposed algorithms. Experimental results show the performance of these algorithms and a comparison between them is discussed. As location information of numerous Internet of Thing (IoT) devices can be recognized through IoT sensor technology, the need for technology to efficiently analyze spatial data is increasing. One of the famous algorithms for classifying dense data into one cluster is Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN). Existing DBSCAN research focuses on efficiently finding clusters in numeric data or categorical data. In this paper, we propose the novel problem of discovering a set of adjacent clusters among the cluster results derived for each keyword in the keyword-based DBSCAN algorithm. The existing DBSCAN algorithm has a problem in that it is necessary to calculate the number of all cases in order to find adjacent clusters among clusters derived as a result of the algorithm. To solve this problem, we developed the Genetic algorithm-based Keyword Matching DBSCAN (GKM-DBSCAN) algorithm to which the genetic algorithm was applied to discover the set of adjacent clusters among the cluster results derived for each keyword. In order to improve the performance of GKM-DBSCAN, we improved the general genetic algorithm by performing a genetic operation in groups. We conducted extensive experiments on both real and synthetic datasets to show the effectiveness of GKM-DBSCAN than the brute-force method. The experimental results show that GKM-DBSCAN outperforms the brute-force method by up to 21 times. To provide reliable input for obstacle avoidance and decision-making, unmanned surface vehicles (USV) need to have the function of sensing the position of other USV targets in the process of cooperation and confrontation. Due to the small size of the target and the interference of the water and sky background, the current algorithms are prone to missed detection and drift problems when detecting and tracking USV. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a fusion algorithm of detection and tracking for USV targets. To solve the problem of vague features in the single-frame image, high-resolution and deep semantic information are obtained through a cross-stage partial network, and the anchor and convolution structure in the network has been improved given the characteristics of USV; besides, to meet the real-time requirements, the detected target is quickly tracked through correlation filtering, and the correlation characteristics of multi-frame images are obtained; then, the correlation characteristics are used to significantly reduce missed detection, and the tracking drift problems are corrected, combined with high-resolution semantic features of a single frame. Finally, the fusion algorithm is designed. In this paper, we constructed a picture dataset and a video dataset to test the effect of detection, tracking, and fusion algorithm separately, which proves the superiority of the fusion algorithm in this paper. This paper proposes the analysis and design of the linear active disturbance rejection controller (LADRC) for the pitch angle model of a large wind turbine generator (WTG). Since the transfer function of the pitch control system exhibits nonminimum-phase characteristics, the parameters of LADRC are difficult to tune using the conventional bandwidth method. On the basis of PI controller parameters to first-order LADRC parameters, an optimization problem is proposed in this paper to find the parameters of an LADRC for the pitch control system under the constraint of robustness measure, and the extremum-seeking (ES) algorithm is used to solve the problem. In the paper, we proposed a deep learning-based industrial equipment detection algorithm ROMS R-CNN (Rotation Occlusion Multi-Scale Region-CNN). It can solve the problem of inaccurate detection of industrial equipment under complex working conditions such as multi-scale ratio, rotation tilt, occlusion and overlap. The method proposed in this paper first is to construct the MobileNetV2 as the feature pyramid network, and then to combine high semantic information with high resolution information solved industrial equipment detection of different scales. Secondly, a specific rotation anchor scheme is proposed, and the data set is clustered through the k-means algorithm to obtain a specific aspect ratio. Combined with the rotation angle, a rotation anchor of any direction and size is generated to solve the problem of easy tilting of industrial equipment. Finally, a Non-Maximum Suppression algorithm with penalty factors is introduced to solve the overlapping in industrial equipment detection. The experimental results in common industrial equipment detection show that this method is better than other algorithms, significantly improves the missed detection and false detection, and the mAP reaches 0.939. Infrared image target detection technology has been one of the essential research topics in computer vision, which has promoted the development of automatic driving, infrared guidance, infrared surveillance, and other fields. However, traditional target detection algorithms for infrared images have difficulty adapting to the target's multiscale characteristics. In addition, the accuracy of the detection algorithm is significantly reduced when the target is occluded. The corresponding solutions are proposed in this paper to solve these two problems. At present, blockchain technology is more and more widely used in the field of food traceability, and good results have been achieved. However, many of the current blockchain technologies and algorithms are not developed for the specific situation of food traceability, resulting in resource waste and low computational efficiency. In view of these problems, this paper analyzes and summarizes the classic distributed consensus mechanism in blockchain technology, focusing on the PBFT (practical Byzantine fault tolerance) consensus mechanism and the existing problems related to the improvement scheme. In order to solve the problem of low efficiency of a consensus algorithm in a food traceability scenario, this paper proposes a blockchain consensus algorithm suitable for the food traceability scenario based on clustering and food credit. In addition, the differences between the improved algorithm and the classical Byzantine consensus algorithm in consensus algorithm time and communication times are analyzed through experiments and simulations. The consensus efficiency of the improved algorithm in this paper is significantly improved, which can greatly reduce the application difficulty of blockchain in food traceability. There are few studies for the classification detection and dynamic multitarget detection of the targets in front of vehicles. In order to solve this problem, a dynamic multitarget detection algorithm is proposed. First, a dynamic multitarget detection with displacement at any time is suggested; secondly, a multitarget detection algorithm based on improved You Only Look Once version 3 (YOLOv3) is proposed for the detection of multitarget high probability risk events in front of the vehicle. The YOLOv3 algorithm model is a lightweight backbone network that uses embedded real-time detection technologies. In this paper, we use a lightweight Mobilenetv2 to replace Darknet-53 for feature extraction. Moreover, an optimizer is used for multiobjective feature extraction, group normalization, and multiobjective feature extraction. The results show that in comparison with the original YOLOv3 algorithm, the detection leakage rate of the improved YOLOv3 multitarget detection algorithm is less than 5%, and the amount of model parameters in this paper is reduced by 95% as compared to the traditional data and CPU intertime is reduced to 78%. With the continuous progress of society, dance art has gradually entered the lives of ordinary people, and people's appreciation level and artistic attention have gradually improved. How to improve the level of dance art has become an urgent problem to be resolved. In order to solve the problems encountered in dance tumbling pose recognition, this paper proposes a dance tumbling pose recognition model based on multifeature fusion algorithm. According to the characteristics of dance movements, an effective feature extraction method is studied. By combining the key information of bones, the fusion features of the relative position of human joints, the angle of joints, and the ratio of limb length are selected to classify the movements in the dance scene. Through the residual block automatic motion detection method, a multifeature fusion module is used to fuse multiple features, so as to improve the estimation of complex pose by the algorithm and finally complete the dance action identify. The test and analysis results on the data set show that the algorithm can identify the dance somersault pose and can effectively improve the accuracy of dance movement recognition, with strong recognition performance. Traditional ice and snow path planning methods still have internal environmental problems in intelligent path planning, such as weak innovation ability, imperfect management, long planning path, unreasonable security structure, and low degree of specialization. Therefore, more and more ice and snow sports lovers are eager to solve this problem. This paper designs a path planning method based on three-dimensional ice and snow model. The path planning method of moving snow and ice based on MNN (Multiclass Neural Networks) algorithm is studied from many aspects. MNN algorithm is used for comprehensive analysis and evaluation. The mobile phone provides data information on key nodes, air resistance, momentum change, ice and snow movement track, and so on. The results show that the ice and snow path planning system based on MNN algorithm designed in this paper has the advantages of high feasibility, high data accuracy, and good prediction effect and can effectively improve the efficiency of ice and snow path planning. In the field of AGV, a path planning algorithm is always a heated area. However, traditional path planning algorithms have many disadvantages. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a fusion algorithm that combines the kinematical constraint A* algorithm and the following dynamic window approach algorithm. The kinematical constraint A* algorithm can plan the global path. Firstly, the node optimization can reduce the number of child nodes. Secondly, improving the heuristic function can increase efficiency of path planning. Thirdly, the secondary redundancy can reduce the number of redundant nodes. Finally, the B spline curve can make the global path conform to the dynamic characteristics of AGV. The following DWA algorithm can be dynamic path planning and allow the AGV to avoidance moving obstacle. The optimization heuristic function of the local path is closer to the global optimal path. The simulation results show that, compared with the fusion algorithm of traditional A* algorithm and traditional DWA algorithm, the fusion algorithm reduces the length of path by 3.6%, time of path by 6.7% and the number of turns of final path by 25%. In order to improve tracking accuracy of time-varying sparse signals, a sparse state Kalman filter algorithm based on Kalman gain matrix is proposed in this paper. Under the constraint of sparse state, minimizing the mean square error and solving the optimization problem by using the symmetrical alternating direction multiplier method (symmetrical ADMM), while keeping the update expression of state estimation unchanged, a Kalman gain matrix is obtained which can make the state estimation sparse. In addition, this paper also discusses two different sparse constraints which are L1 norm constraint and cardinality function constraint. The proposed algorithm can be implemented under the framework of conventional Kalman filter algorithm, no need to introduce additional frameworks. Two groups of dynamic signal models, a slow change of signal and a random walk of nonzero elements, are simulated. We consider the incremental subgradient algorithm employing dynamic step sizes for minimizing the sum of a large number of component convex functions. The dynamic step size rule was firstly introduced by Goffin and Kiwiel [Math. Program., 1999, 85(1): 207‐211] for the subgradient algorithm, soon later, for the incremental subgradient algorithm by Nedic and Bertsekas in [SIAM J. Optim., 2001, 12(1): 109‐138]. It was observed experimentally that the incremental approach has been very successful in solving large separable optimizations and that the dynamic step sizes generally have better computational performance than others in the literature. In the present paper, we propose two modified dynamic step size rules for the incremental subgradient algorithm and analyse the convergence and complexity properties of them. At last, the assignment problem is considered and the incremental subgradient algorithms employing different kinds of dynamic step sizes are applied to solve the problem. The computational experiments show that the two modified ones converges dramatically faster and more stable than the corresponding one in [SIAM J. Optim., 2001, 12(1): 109‐138]. Differential evolutionary (DE) algorithm is one of the most frequently used evolutionary computation method for the solution of non-differentiable, complex and discontinuous real value numerical problems. The analytical structure of the mutation and crossover operators used by DE and the initial values of the parameters of the relevant operators affect the problem-solving ability of DE. Unfortunately, there is no analytical method for selecting and initializing the best artificial genetic operators that DE can use to solve a problem. Therefore, there is a need to develop new evolutionary search methods that are parameter-free and insensitive to the artificial genetic operators they use. In this paper, the Bernstein–Levy differential evolution (BDE) algorithm, which has a unique elitist-mutation operator and a Bernstein polynomials-based stochastic parameter-free crossover operator, is introduced. The numerical problem-solving success of BDE is statistically evaluated by using 30 benchmark problems of CEC2014 in the numerical experiments presented. BDE's success in solving the related benchmark problems is statistically compared with six state-of-the-art comparison algorithms. In this paper, three real-world optimization problems are also solved by using the proposed algorithm, BDE. To solve the problem that uneven illumination is inevitably to reduce the image quality, an adaptive illumination correction algorithm based on a combined model of bottom-hat and improved gamma transform is proposed to process and improve the image quality. In this paper, the multi-scale Gaussian function is adopted to estimate the image illumination components. Then, the two-dimensional gamma function is improved, and the coefficients of gamma transform are dynamically adjusted by using the obtained illumination components to realize the adaptive correction of the image. Finally, the corrected image is fused with the image transformed by the bottom-hat. Through a large number of experiments, it is verified that the proposed method can retain more detailed information, and the corrected picture does not produce small noise points with a better fidelity effect. Spectrum-sensing algorithms are one of the effective solutions to the problem of the underwater spectrum resource constraint. However, because the underwater acoustic channel is one of the most complex channels, it has many characteristics, such as a limited communication bandwidth, multipath effect, and ocean noise, all of which render the spectrum detection more difficult. As basic spectrum-sensing algorithms, energy detection algorithms are widely used in underwater acoustic communication and radio. However, most of the existing dual-threshold energy detection methods do not judge the signals with energy values between the thresholds or discard them directly. In this paper, a double-threshold centralized co-operative detection algorithm is proposed to solve this problem. In this algorithm, each sensing user makes a judgment independently, and if the historical energy statistics are between the thresholds, the number of sampling points is increased, and the judgment is made again. In the centralized collaborative sensing algorithm, each sensing user's results are sent to the fusion center, which uses the OR judgment criterion to make decisions. Algorithms have evolved from machine code to low-code-no-code (LCNC) in the past 20 years. Observing the growth of LCNC-based algorithm development, the CEO of GitHub mentioned that the future of coding is no coding at all. This paper systematically reviewed several of the recent studies using mainstream LCNC platforms to understand the area of research, the LCNC platforms used within these studies, and the features of LCNC used for solving individual research questions. We identified 23 research works using LCNC platforms, such as SetXRM, the vf-OS platform, Aure-BPM, CRISP-DM, and Microsoft Power Platform (MPP). About 61% of these existing studies resorted to MPP as their primary choice. The critical research problems solved by these research works were within the area of global news analysis, social media analysis, landslides, tornadoes, COVID-19, digitization of process, manufacturing, logistics, and software/app development. The main reasons identified for solving research problems with LCNC algorithms were as follows: (1) obtaining research data from multiple sources in complete automation; (2) generating artificial intelligence-driven insights without having to manually code them. In the course of describing this review, this paper also demonstrates a practical approach to implement a cyber-attack monitoring algorithm with the most popular LCNC platform. In order to improve the accuracy and speed of traditional K-Nearest-Neighbor (KNN) algorithms and solve the problem of determining the most appropriate initial center and number of clusters of K-Means algorithm, an improved clustering dynamic threshold location algorithm (ICD-KNN) is proposed in this paper. The algorithm consists of two stages: clustering stage and position estimation stage. The clustering stage employs K-Means clustering algorithm based on Canopy. The Canopy is used as the preprocessing procedure to improve efficiency and clustering accuracy of K-Means algorithm. In the position estimation stage, threshold is set dynamically according to the dispersion of reference points to filter out singular reference points and improve positioning accuracy compared with the previous threshold algorithms. We compare proposed algorithm with several existing algorithms. The simulation results show that the positioning accuracy of ICD-KNN is improved by 10%, 38% and 39% respectively compared with dynamic threshold algorithms (DH-KNN), K-Means algorithms and KNN algorithms. With the rapid development of computer science, a large number of images and an explosive amount of information make it difficult to filter and effectively extract information. This article focuses on the inability of effective detection and recognition of English text content to conduct research, which is useful for improving the application of intelligent analysis significance. This paper studies how to improve the neural network model to improve the efficiency of image text detection and recognition under complex background. The main research work is as follows: (1) An improved CTPN multidirectional text detection algorithm is proposed, and the algorithm is applied to the multidirectional text detection and recognition system. It uses the multiangle rotation of the image to be detected, then fuses the candidate text boxes detected by the CTPN network, and uses the fusion strategy to find the best area of the text. This algorithm solves the problem that the CTPN network can only detect the text in the approximate horizontal direction. (2) An improved CRNN text recognition algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is based on CRNN and combines traditional text features and depth features at the same time, making it possible to recognize occluded text. The algorithm was tested on the IC13 and SVT data sets. Compared with the CRNN algorithm, the recognition accuracy has been improved, and the detection and recognition accuracy has increased by 0.065. In order to explore the economic development trend in the postepidemic era, this paper improves the traditional clustering algorithm and constructs a postepidemic economic development trend analysis model based on intelligent algorithms. In order to solve the clustering problem of large-scale nonuniform density data sets, this paper proposes an adaptive nonuniform density clustering algorithm based on balanced iterative reduction and uses the algorithm to further cluster the compressed data sets. For large-scale data sets, the clustering results can accurately reflect the class characteristics of the data set as a whole. Moreover, the algorithm greatly improves the time efficiency of clustering. From the research results, we can see that the improved clustering algorithm has a certain effect on the analysis of economic development trends in the postepidemic era and can continue to play a role in subsequent economic analysis. Basic services for power business were provided by the power multimodel network providers. However, because the power multimodal network is usually complex and changeable, the service of power business is often unstable. This problem can be solved by a suitable network resource optimization method. Therefore, how to design a network resource optimization method that seeks a compromise between multiple performance indicators that achieve the normal operation of power multimode networks is still extremely challenging. An optimal allocation method of power multimodal network resources based on NSGA-II was proposed by this paper. Firstly, the power multimodal network-resource model is established, and the problems existing in the resource optimization process are analyzed. Secondly, preprocessing technology and indirect coding technology are applied to NSGA-II, which solves the coding problem and convergence problem of the application of genetic algorithm to the optimization of network resource allocation. Finally, the simulation results show that, compared with the control algorithm, this method has further optimized the various indicators of the resource allocation of the power multimodal network, and the performance has been improved by more than 6%. This paper investigates the control problem of the buoyancy regulation system for autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). There are some problems to be considered in the oil-water conversion-based buoyancy regulation system, including the external seawater pressure, the pressure fluctuations, and the slow switching speed of the ball valve. The control accuracy of the buoyancy regulation under the traditional PID controller cannot meet the requirements of the project. In this paper, a fuzzy sliding mode control scheme is developed for the buoyancy regulation system to solve the abovementioned problems. At first, a mathematical model of the buoyancy regulation system is established, and the stability of the system is analyzed. Then, the sliding mode control algorithm is combined with the fuzzy system to improve the control accuracy. Finally, the pool-experiment results on a prototype show that the developed control scheme can meet the requirements of the control accuracy for the buoyancy regulation system. This paper considers the task allocation problem under the requirement that the assignments of some critical tasks must be maximized when the network capacity cannot accommodate all tasks due to the limited capacity for each unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). To solve this problem, this paper proposes an extended performance impact algorithm with critical tasks (EPIAC) based on the traditional performance impact algorithm. A novel task list resizing phase is developed in EPIAC to deal with the constraint on the limited capacity of each UAV and maximize the assignments of critical tasks. One of the useful knowledge representation tools, which can describe the joint probability distribution between some random variables with a graphical model and can be trained by a dataset, is the Bayesian network (BN). A BN is composed of a network structure and a conditional probability distribution table for each node. Discovering an optimal BN structure is an NP‐hard optimization problem that various meta‐heuristic algorithms are applied to solve this problem by researchers. The genetic algorithms, ant colony optimization, evolutionary programming, artificial bee colony, and bacterial foraging optimization are some of the meta‐heuristic methods to solve this problem using a dataset. Most of these methods are applying a scoring metric to generate the best network structure from a set of candidates. A Fixed Structure Learning Automata‐Based (FSLA‐B) algorithm is presented in this paper to solve the structure learning problem of BNs. There is a fixed structure learning automaton for each pair of vertices in the BN's graph structure in the proposed algorithm. The action of this automaton determines the presence and direction of an edge between the vertices. The proposed algorithm performs a guided search procedure using the FSLA and escapes from local optimums. Several datasets are utilised in this paper to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm. By performing various experiments, multiple meta‐heuristic algorithms are compared with the introduced new one. Due to the explosion of network data traffic and IoT devices, edge servers are overloaded and slow to respond to the massive volume of online requests. A large number of studies have shown that edge caching can solve this problem effectively. This paper proposes a distributed edge collaborative caching mechanism for Internet online request services scenario. It solves the problem of large average access delay caused by unbalanced load of edge servers, meets users' differentiated service demands and improves user experience. In particular, the edge cache node selection algorithm is optimized, and a novel edge cache replacement strategy considering the differentiated user requests is proposed. This mechanism can shorten the response time to a large number of user requests. Experimental results show that, compared with the current advanced online edge caching algorithm, the proposed edge collaborative caching strategy in this paper can reduce the average response delay by 9%. The rapid development and adoption of Internet-of-Things (IoT) and sensors such as Global Positioning System (GPS) in our daily life allows gathering of wealth of information. This tremendous amount of sensor data can be clustered to infer information about the whereabouts of users. Researchers have proposed various algorithms for analyzing spatio-temporal data and clustering such datasets. However, a big challenge is to discover clusters with large density variation and to solve this problem most of the existing clustering algorithms manually set the input parameters. In the Density-based spatial clustering (DBSCAN) clustering algorithm, the epsilon and minimum point parameters have to be set manually for further computation. In this paper, we propose an improved DBSCAN algorithm to adaptively set minimum point parameter for dynamic length of data, based on merge sort and silhouette analysis. Validation of the proposed algorithm has been done on GeoLife GPS dataset. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is competitive with state-of-the-art methods for identifying users' significant locations and whereabouts with the density variation. Reducing energy consumption in the energy-intensive production systems is of great significance and attracts more and more attention. Although a lot of efforts have been devoted to formulate and solve the energy consumption optimisation problem in the Bernoulli serial lines, existing methods for solving the problem in long Bernoulli lines either cannot obtain the optimal solution or are time-consuming. For this purpose, this paper divides the problem in the long line into a set of problems in two-machine lines and proposes a computationally efficient and globally convergent algorithm to solve it. Extensive numerical experiments show that the proposed algorithm not only can optimally (in the numerical way) solve the energy consumption optimisation problem in long Bernoulli serial lines, but also is orders of magnitude more efficient than existing algorithms. This paper models a single liner service design and operations problem. The model selects the ports to be included, their sequence, the sailing speed of vessels, the number of vessels and the amounts of cargo to transport by the service. The objective is to maximise profit. First, a relaxation with a mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) formulation is proposed. We show how to obtain the optimal speed value. Once this value is obtained, the mathematical programming formulation becomes a mixed-integer linear program (MILP). Then, a two-step exact algorithm is presented to solve the problem. Using real data, the optimal solution was found in less than 1 min for small-size problems and in few hours for relatively large-size problems. More tests were carried out on randomly generated data sets with up to 25 ports. The image stitching process often produces many undesirable effects. Solving problems such as discontinuity and dislocation of pictures has always been the focus of people's research. From the perspective of human vision, this dislocation situation can be easily perceived and found. In this paper, we propose a stitching strategy based on the human visual system (HVS) and scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT) algorithm. We preprocess the brightness difference and contrast of the stitched images, combining SIFT algorithm and HVS to divide the overlapping areas of the stitched images and establish an attribute relationship model. We use dynamic programming to find the optimal seamline according to the attribute relationship model, and the final result makes the optimal seamline almost invisible under the discriminative vision of human eyes. This paper proposes a path-based approach for the minimization of a continuously differentiable function over sparse symmetric sets, which is a hard problem that exhibits a restrictiveness-hierarchy of necessary optimality conditions. To achieve the more restrictive conditions in the hierarchy, state-of-the-art algorithms require a support optimization oracle that must exactly solve the problem in smaller dimensions. The path-based approach developed in this study produces a path-based optimality condition, which is placed well in the restrictiveness-hierarchy, and a method to achieve it that does not require a support optimization oracle and, moreover, is projection-free. In the development process, new results are derived for the regularized linear minimization problem over sparse symmetric sets, which give additional means to identify optimal solutions for convex and concave objective functions. In this paper, we consider a class of structured nonsmooth difference-of-convex (DC) minimization in which the first convex component is the sum of a smooth and a nonsmooth function, while the second convex component is the supremum of finitely many convex smooth functions. The existing methods for this problem usually have weak convergence guarantees or need to solve lots of subproblems per iteration. Due to this, we propose hybrid algorithms for solving this problem in which we first compute approximate critical points and then check whether these points are approximate D-stationary points. Under suitable conditions, we prove that there exists a subsequence of iterates of which every accumulation point is a D-stationary point. In this paper, a control strategy of a cell-based multi-agent system is proposed to solve the problem of inconsistency of series lithium-ion battery packs. The bidirectional Cuk converter is utilized as an equalizing circuit serving for balancing adjacent cells in a pack. A SOC-based consensus control with a time-triggered mechanism (TTM) is proposed. In order to reduce the actuator updates, the control method is ameliorated by altering TTM to an event-triggered mechanism (ETM). Adjustable balancing currents are designed in both TTM and ETM methods for the acceleration of the equalization process. The cases in dynamic environments under externally imposed charging/discharging currents by adopting TTM and ETM methods are investigated in detail. By comparison, the simulations and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) experiments with a Typhoon real-time simulator are illustrated to show that, both in standby or external charging/discharging conditions, the proposed ETM algorithms are superior to TTM's in terms of equalization time and adaptability to the external environment. However, its computational burden significantly increases for the case of dual degeneracy, which limits the application of the algorithm. Two improvements have been proposed to solve this problem for the Equality Set Projection algorithm: first, a new criterion that does not require a discussion of the uniqueness of the solution in linear programming, which simplifies the algorithm process and reduces the computational cost; and second, an improved method that abandons the calculation of a ridge's equality set to reduce the computational burden in the case of high-dimensional dual degeneracy. Meta-heuristic algorithms have been extensively utilized in feature selection tasks because they can obtain the global optimal solution. However, the meta-heuristic algorithm will take too much time in the face of a large number of samples. Although most of the studies compromise to approximate optimal solutions for avoiding time-consuming problems, a new problem with reduced classification performance, especially classification stability, is then generated. Aiming to above problems, this paper proposes a new feature selection framework. First, this framework exploits a voting ensemble strategy to improve classification stability by reducing the impact of misclassified labels on the overall classification results. Second, the framework uses a data perturbation strategy to enhance classification accuracy. In particular, the data perturbation strategy is able to generate more neighborhood relationships in the dataset, which could reveal the distribution of various features of the samples. A voting ensemble of different feature distributions is capable of extracting more information from the dataset, then the initially misclassified samples are more likely to be returned to the correct classification. Third, the framework takes a random sampling accelerator into account to solve the problem of excessive time consumption by reducing the size of the search sample space. Finally, for the sake of verifying the effectiveness of the proposed framework, four meta-heuristic feature selection methods based on a neighborhood rough set are compared on 20 datasets. Multiparty Private Set Intersection (MPSI) is dedicated to finding the intersection of datasets of multiple participants without disclosing any other information. Although many MPSI protocols have been presented, there are still some important practical scenarios that require in-depth consideration such as an unbalanced scenario, where the server's dataset is much larger than the clients' datasets, and in cases where the number of participants is large. This paper proposes a practical MPSI protocol for unbalanced scenarios. The protocol uses the Bloom filter, an efficient data structure, and the ElGamal encryption algorithm to reduce the computation of clients and the server; adopts randomization technology to solve the encryption problem of the 0s in the Bloom filter; and introduces the idea of the Shamir threshold secret-sharing scheme to adapt to multiple environments. A formal security proof and three detailed experiments are given. The results of the experiments showed that the new protocol is very suitable for unbalanced scenarios with a large number of participants, and it has a significant improvement in efficiency compared with the typical related protocol (TIFS 2022). Close-range photogrammetry methods are widely used for non-contact and accurate measurements of surface shapes. These methods are based on calculating the three-dimensional coordinates of an object from two-dimensional images using special digital processing algorithms. Due to the relatively complex measurement principle, the accurate estimation of the photogrammetric measurement error is a non-trivial task. Typically, theoretical estimations or computer modelling are used to solve this problem. However, these approaches cannot provide an accurate estimate because it is impossible to consider all factors that influence the measurement results. To solve this problem, we propose the use of physical modelling. The measurement results from the photogrammetric system under test were compared with the results of a more accurate reference measurement method. This comparison allowed the error to be estimated under controlled conditions. The test object was a flexible surface whose shape could vary smoothly over a wide range. The estimation of the measurement accuracy for a large number of different surface shapes allows us to obtain new results that are difficult to obtain using standard approaches. To implement the proposed approach, a laboratory system for the error estimation of close-range photogrammetric measurements was developed. The paper contains a detailed description of the developed system and the proposed technique for a comparison of the measurement results. The error in the reference method, which was chosen to be phasogrammetry, was evaluated experimentally. Experimental testing of the stereo photogrammetric system was performed according to the proposed technique. This paper provides a real application of a popular swarm-intelligence optimisation method. The aim is to analyse the efficiency of various settings of the marine predator algorithm (MPA). Four crucial numerical parameters of the MPA are statistically analysed to propose the most efficient setting for solving engineering problems. Besides population size, particle velocity parameter P, Lévy flight parameter β , and fish aggregating device (FAD) probabilities are studied. Finally, 193 various settings, including fixed values and dynamic changes of the MPA parameters, are experimentally compared when solving 13 engineering problems. Standard statistical approaches are employed to highlight significant differences in various MPA settings. The setting of two MPA parameters (P, FADs) significantly influences MPA performance. Three newly proposed MPA settings outperform the original variant significantly. The best results provide the MPA variant with the dynamic linear change of P from 0.5 to 0. These parameters influence the velocity of prey and predator individuals in all three stages of the MPA search process. Decreasing the value of P showed that decreasing the velocity of individuals during the search provides good performance. Further, lower efficiency of the MPA with higher FAD values was detected. It means that more occasional use of fish aggregating devices (FADs) can increase the solvability of engineering problems. In software-defined networking (SDN), the traffic forwarding delay highly depends on the latency associated with updating the forwarding rules in flow tables. With the increase in fine-grained flow control requirements, due to the flexible control capabilities of SDN, more rules are being inserted and removed from flow tables. Moreover, the matching fields of these rules might overlap since multiple control domains might generate different rules for similar flows. This overlap implies dependency relationships among the rules, imposing various restrictions on forwarding entries during updates, e.g., by following update orders or storing entries at specified locations, especially in flow tables implemented using ternary content addressable memory (TCAM); otherwise, mismatching or packet dropping will occur. It usually takes a while to resolve and maintain dependencies during updates, which hinders high forwarding efficiency. To reduce the delay associated with updating dependent rules, in this paper, we propose an updating algorithm for TCAM-based flow tables. We formulate the TCAM maintenance process as an NP-hard problem and analyze the inefficiency of existing moving approaches. To solve the problem, we propose an optimal moving chain for single rule updates and provide theoretical proof for its minimum moving steps. For multiple rules arriving at a switch simultaneously, we designed a dynamic approach to update concurrent entries; it is able to update multiple rules heuristically within a restricted TCAM region. As the update efficiency concerns dependencies among rules, we evaluate our flow table by updating algorithms with different dependency complexities. The results show that our approach achieves about 6% fewer moving steps than existing approaches. The linear programming problem provided to bipolar fuzzy relation equation constraints is considered in this paper. The structure of bipolar fuzzy relation equation system is studied with the maxproduct composition. Two new concepts, called covering and irredundant covering, are introduced in the bipolar fuzzy relation equation system. A covering-based sufficient condition is proposed to check its consistency. The relation between two concepts is discussed. Some sufficient conditions are presented to specify one of its optimal solutions or some its optimal components based on the concepts. Also, some covering-based sufficient conditions are given for uniqueness of its optimal solution. These conditions enable us to design some procedures for simplification and reduction of the problem. Moreover, a matrixbased branch-and-bound method is presented to solve the reduced problem. The sufficient conditions and algorithm are illustrated by some numerical examples. This paper introduces a new metaheuristic algorithm called Migration Algorithm (MA), which is helpful in solving optimization problems. The fundamental inspiration of MA is the process of human migration, which aims to improve job, educational, economic, and living conditions, and so on. The mathematical modeling of the proposed MA is presented in two phases to empower the proposed approach in exploration and exploitation during the search process. In the exploration phase, the algorithm population is updated based on the simulation of choosing the migration destination among the available options. In the exploitation phase, the algorithm population is updated based on the efforts of individuals in the migration destination to adapt to the new environment and improve their conditions. MA’s performance is evaluated on fifty-two standard benchmark functions consisting of unimodal and multimodal types and the CEC 2017 test suite. In addition, MA’s results are compared with the performance of twelve well-known metaheuristic algorithms. The optimization results show the proposed MA approach’s high ability to balance exploration and exploitation to achieve suitable solutions for optimization problems. The analysis and comparison of the simulation results show that MA has provided superior performance against competitor algorithms in most benchmark functions. Also, the implementation of MA on four engineering design problems indicates the effective capability of the proposed approach in handling optimization tasks in real-world applications. In this paper, we study a class of nonconvex and nonsmooth optimization problems, whose objective function can be split into two separable terms and one coupling term. Alternating proximal gradient methods combining with extrapolation are proposed to solve such problems. Under some assumptions, we prove that every cluster point of the sequence generated by our algorithms is a critical point. Furthermore, if the objective function satisfies Kurdyka–Łojasiewicz property, the generated sequence is globally convergent to a critical point. In order to make the algorithm more effective and flexible, we also use some strategies to update the extrapolation parameter and solve the problems with unknown Lipschitz constant.
