The rapid increase in the proportion of cash crops and livestock production in the Yangtze River Basin has led to commensurate increases in fertilizer and pesticide inputs. Excessive application of chemical fertilizer, organophosphorus pesticides and inappropriate disposal of agricultural waste induced water pollution and potentially threaten Agriculture Green Development (AGD). To ensure food security and the food supply capacity of the Yangtze River Basin, it is important to balance green and development, while ensuring the quality of water bodies. Multiple pollutants affect the transfer, adsorption, photolysis and degradation of each other throughout the soil-plant-water system. This paper considers the impact of multi-pollutants on the nitrogen and phosphorus cycles especially for crops, which are related to achieving food security and AGD. In recent years, the impact of land-use systems on global climate change has become increasingly significant, and land-use change has become a hot issue of concern to academics, both within China and abroad. Urbanization, as an important socioeconomic factor, plays a vital role in promoting land-use transition, which also shows a significant spatial dependence on urbanization. This paper constructs a theoretical framework for the interaction relationship between urbanization and land-use transition, taking the Yangtze River Delta as an example, and measures the level of urbanization from the perspective of population urbanization, economic urbanization and social urbanization, while also evaluating the level of land-use morphologies from the perspective of dominant and recessive morphologies of land-use. We construct a PVAR model and coupled coordination model based on the calculated indexes for empirical analysis. The results show that the relationship between urbanization and land-use transition is not a simple linear relationship, but tends to be complex with the process of urbanization, and reasonable urbanization and land-use morphologies will promote further benign coupling in the system. By analyzing the interaction relationship between urbanization and land-use transition, this study enriches the study of land-use change and provides new pathways for thinking about how to promote high-quality urbanization. Green port construction has a profound impact on China's international climate commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050. To examine the carbon emission reduction potential of 20 major ports in the Yangtze River Delta port cluster of China, this study takes the perspective of environmental efficiency and employs dynamic exogenous variable DEA in efficiency evaluation. The results show the increasing environmental efficiency of the ports in the Yangtze River Delta, rising from 0.5116 in 2013 to 0.7276 in 2019. Also, there are significant spatial differences in efficiency. After considering exogenous variable, the average efficiency has increased from 0.5537 to 0.6276, indicating that regional green development is a critical factor in port environmental efficiency evaluation. Finally, the overall efficiency of input and output have risen, the slackness of carbon emission shows a trend of decreasing, and there is great potential for reducing carbon emissions from the perspective of port environmental efficiency. The previous studies paid less attention to dynamic efficiency, exogenous variables, and carbon emission. Therefore, this paper is the first comprehensive examination on the carbon emission reduction potential of China's Yangtze River Delta port cluster from the perspective of dynamic environmental efficiency. The paper studies the Chongqing hotpot(重庆火锅) and two general types of lead-in phrases(过门) of Chongqing Thumb Fight(划拳). This paper mainly discusses the birthplace and maker of Chongqing hotpot and the origin of the two primary lead-in phrases: Good Brothers(兄 弟好) and Disorderly Chopping Firewood(乱劈柴). Location of the southwestern suture zone between Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks remains a controversial issue in South China tectonic research. This paper presents new LA-ICP-MS U–Pb geochronological and Hf isotopic data of detrital zircons obtained from the Nanhua System in Yingyangguan region of northeastern Guangxi and discusses their provenance and sedimentary tectonic setting of the Nanhua System. By comparison with the recently published detrital zircon geochronological and Hf isotopic data of the coeval Nanhua System in Longsheng region of northern Guangxi along the southeastern margin of the Yangtze Block and of the Neoproterozoic strata in Cathaysia block, this study attempts to constrain the southwestern suture zone or the boundary between Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks. The Nanhua System in Yingyangguan region includes Tianzidi and Zhengyuanling formations. The U–Pb ages of 107 grains from Tianzidi Formation are peaked at 0.65–0.72 Ga, 0.72–0.80 Ga, 0.90–1.30 Ga, 1.40–2.25 Ga, and 2.35–2.94 Ga. The U–Pb ages of 106 grains from the Zhengyuanling Formation are peaked at 0.65–0.72 Ga, 0.72–0.90 Ga, 0.90–1.30 Ga, 1.40–2.10 Ga, and 2.40–2.92 Ga. Most of the U–Pb ages of detrital zircon grains cluster at 0.90–1.30 Ga, demonstrating a remarkable difference from the coeval Nanhua System in Longsheng region, and suggesting the Cathaysia Block as a major source of sediments for the Nanhua System in the Yingyangguan region. The εHf(t) values of the detrital zircon grains from the Nanhua System of the Yingyangguan region are mostly positive (0–10); they are different from those of the Longsheng region of northern Guangxi where they are mainly negative (− 10 to − 2), but similar to the Cathaysia Block (− 3 to 5). Based on the new detrital zircon U–Pb ages and Hf isotopic data, it is suggested that the southwestern suture zone or the boundary between Cathaysia and Yangtze blocks is located in the area between Yingyangguan and Longsheng area of Guangxi. Industrialization in China has faced severe problems such as resource depletion and environmental degradation. The Yangtze River economic belt (YREB) strategy is one of the essential strategies for the sustainable development of the Chinese economy. Maximizing economic benefits while using the least resources and the least pollution to the environment is critical for China's sustainable development strategy. This paper proposed the DEA to measure industrial eco-efficiency in the YREB from 2009 to 2018. It analyzed its temporal evolution and spatial differentiation and adopted a spatial econometric model to study how interference in influencing factors affects industrial eco-efficiency. The results revealed that (1) the eastern area of YREB has the highest industrial eco-efficiency compared with the other regions. (2) The industrial total factor productivity in the YREB has been rising over the years, and its change trend shows an inverted "W" pattern of first rising, then falling, then rising, then falling. (3) By further analysis, we observed a statistically significant spatial difference in the Industrial eco-efficiency among the areas in YREB, which suggests that the change scale presents the rule of "downstream bigger than Midstream region and midstream region bigger than "upstream region." (4) The level of economic development, science and technology innovation, and human resources have significantly positive effects on industrial eco-efficiency, and the effect of economic development is of most significant importance. The industrial agglomeration demoted the efficiency of industrial ecology; Science and technology innovations, on the other hand, had a positive spillover effect, while the industrial concentration had a negative spillover effect. Under the requirements of modernized spatial governance and the national strategy for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, the Shanghai Metropolitan Area has taken the lead in exploring collaborative governance in regional spatial planning, which aims to promote spatially coordinated governance and high-quality integrated development in metropolitan areas. This exploration focuses on the preparation and organizational innovation in regional planning, the combination of top and bottom organizational approaches, the importance of equal consultation during the planning process, the establishment of an open platform in the positioning of the planning, and the need for joint determination in planning approval. This exploration also discusses the innovative implementation of spatial planning cooperation through eight systematic actions and five space sector actions and defines the implementation focus through the immediate plan of action at the implementation level. The exploration of the "Spatial Cooperative Plan of the Greater Shanghai Metropolitan Area" demonstrates that the process and result of planning are equally important. Achieving consensus through plan making and fostering synergies through plan implementation are feasible paths for efficient collaborative governance in the Shanghai Metropolitan Area and other metropolitan areas in China. The Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) is one of four major national development strategies in China, accomplishing the balance between protection and development of YREB has long-term and comprehensive significance to the implementation of China's green development concept. This paper aims to have a more comprehensive understanding of the green development level of 126 cities in YREB from 2008 to 2017 by constructing an innovative evaluation system of "capacity level-coordination level-comprehensive level". And on this basis, further analysis is carried out to check whether there is spatial effect in green development by means of the Markov chain. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) Urban green development comprehensive level in YREB is characterized by convergence, and the convergence phenomenon is more prominent in high-level cities; (2) In general, the distribution of high-value cities is decreasing from east to west; (3) The transition of club convergence is significantly influenced by neighbor background. Overall, the YREB is undergoing a transformation to step into the greener development path, still needs to take a series of synergistic guidance strategies to solve the problem of unbalanced regional development. The study aims to investigate the heterogeneity of the Yangtze River's impact on housing prices, using the data of 12,325 residential transactions within 8 kilometers of the Yangtze River in Wuhan, based on submarkets divided according to geographical location and buyer groups. The kernel density plots reveal that properties near the Yangtze River have the highest price and the lowest density, while properties further away from the river exhibit the opposite trend. Then the Spatial Generalized Additive Model and the Spatial Quantile Generalized Additive Model show the following results, respectively: (1) The Yangtze River has an influence range of roughly 5 kilometers on adjacent dwellings, with an average impact of 0.035%. However, within the chosen geographical interval, the impact rises from 1.582% to 2.072%. (2) The Yangtze River has the greatest impact on middle-priced houses, followed by high-priced houses, and the least impact on low-priced houses. (3) The Spatial Generalized Additive Model and the Spatial Quantile Generalized Additive Model have been proven to be effective at capturing spatial and temporal impacts on data. Non-heading Chinese cabbage, a variety of Brassica campestris, is an important vegetable crop in the Yangtze River Basin of China. However, the immaturity of its stable transformation system and its low transformation efficiency limit gene function research on non-heading Chinese cabbage. Agrobacterium rhizogenes-mediated (ARM) transgenic technology is a rapid and effective transformation method that has not yet been established for non-heading Chinese cabbage plants. Here, we optimized conventional ARM approaches (one-step and two-step transformation methods) suitable for living non-heading Chinese cabbage plants in nonsterile environments. Transgenic roots in composite non-heading Chinese cabbage plants were identified using phenotypic detection, fluorescence observation, and PCR analysis. The transformation efficiency of a two-step method on four five-day-old non-heading Chinese cabbage seedlings (Suzhouqing, Huangmeigui, Wuyueman, and Sijiu Caixin) was 43.33%e51.09%, whereas using the stout hypocotyl resulted in a transformation efficiency of 54.88% for the 30-day-old Sijiu Caixin. The one-step method outperformed the two-step method; the transformation efficiency of different varieties was above 60%, and both methods can be used to obtain transgenic roots for functional studies within one month. Finally, optimized ARM transformation methods can easily, quickly, and effectively produce composite non-heading Chinese cabbage plants with transgenic roots, providing a reliable foundation for gene function research and non-heading Chinese cabbage genetic improvement breeding. The middle reaches of the Yangtze River region (MRYRR) are China’s first trans-regional urban agglomeration, located in the center of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The MRYRR is an important ecological reserve, and its land cover changes are affected by both socio-economic development and geographical environment. In this paper, Landsat ETM/TM/OLI remote sensing images were used to monitor land use and landscape patterns from 1990 to 2015. Through supervised classification, land use transfer matrix, landscape pattern metrics and correlation analysis, the spatialtemporal patterns of land use change and its relationship with socio-economic in the study area were revealed. The results showed that: (1) the main land use types in the study area were cropland (CL) and forestland (FL), accounting for more than three-quarters of the study area. During the study period, built-up land (BL) increased, CL decreased, FL increased first and then decreased; (2) the BL expanded mainly by occupying CL and FL, and regional landscape pattern was gradually fragmented, with complex patch shape and increasing diversity and heterogeneity. Among them, the BL is gradually gathered, and the FL and CL are gradually fragmented; (3) in the past 25 years, the urbanization process in this region has been obvious, and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has increased by 36 times. The socioeconomic variables were positively correlated with BL, orchard (OL) and Shannon diversity index (SHID), and negatively correlated with CL, Wasteland (WL), mean patch size (MPS) and contagion size (CONTAG). The results showed that the urbanization development has a great impact on the region, and the ecological protection task is still challenging. It is necessary to protect high-quality cropland and draw a red line for ecological protection. Frequently occurring flood disasters caused by extreme climate and urbanization processes have become the most common natural hazard and pose a great threat to human society. Therefore, urban flood risk assessment is of great significance for disaster mitigation and prevention. In this paper, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was applied to quantify the spatiotemporal variations in flood risk in Wuhan during 2000-2018. A comprehensive flood risk assessment index system was constructed from the hazard, sensitivity, and vulnerability components with seven indices. The results showed that the central urban area, especially the area in the west bank of the Yangtze river, had high risk due to its high flood sensitivity that was determined by land use type and high vulnerability with dense population and per unit GDP. Specifically, the Jianghan, Qiaokou, Jiangan, andWuchang districts had the highest flood risk, more than 60% of whose area was in medium or above-medium risk regions. During 2000--2018, the flood risk overall showed an increasing trend, with Hongshan district increasing the most, and the year of 2010 was identified as a turning point for rapid risk increase. In addition, the comparison between the risk maps and actual historical inundation point records showed good agreement, indicating that the assessment framework and method proposed in this study can be useful to assist flood mitigation and management, and relevant policy recommendations were proposed based on the assessment results. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the environmental efficiency level and trend of the transportation sector in the upper–mid–downstream of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the JingJinJi region in China and assess the effectiveness of policies for protecting the low-carbon environment. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses the meta-frontier slack-based measure (SBM) approach to evaluate environmental efficiency, which targets and classifies specific regions into regional groups. First, this study employs the SBM with the undesirable outputs to construct the environmental efficiency measurement models of the four regions under the meta-frontier and group frontiers, respectively. Then, this study uses the technology gap ratio to evaluate the gap between the group frontier and the meta-frontier. Findings: The analysis reveals several key findings: (1) the JingJinJi region and the downstream of the YEB had achieved the overall optimal production technology in transportation than the other two regions; (2) significant technology gaps in environmental efficiency were observed among these four regions in China; and (3) the downstream region of the YEB exhibited the lowest levels of energy consumption and excessive CO2 emissions. Originality/value: To evaluate the differences in environmental efficiency resulting from regions and technological gaps in transportation, this study employs the meta-frontier model, which overcomes the limitation of traditional environmental efficiency methods. Furthermore, in the practical, the study provides the advantage of observing the disparities in transportation efficiency performed by the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei regions. The green development of Chongqing municipality is crucial in establishing a major ecological shield in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. By developing a Super-SBM model and using the Malmquist index to analyze and calculate the green development efficiency and its influencing factors in Chongqing from 2011 to 2021, this study reveals an accelerating trend in the overall green development efficiency in Chongqing. The significant enhancement of green development efficiency in Chongqing is primarily attributed to changes in returns to scale. Pure technical efficiency and technological advancements have a considerable potential impact on improving green development efficiency in Chongqing. Furthermore, there are discernible disparities in green development efficiency among districts and counties in Chongqing, with different factors influencing these variations. Chongqing is suggested to promote clean and efficient energy utilization, bolster the application and commercialization of scientific and technological advancements, consistently advance ecological restoration and management, and elevate the quality of green development to a higher level. This article examines the capacities of community-based labor nongovernment organizations (NGOs) in China to raise workers' consciousness and build solidarity among workers in the post-2018 era. It closely studies the transformation of a community-based labor NGO in the Yangtze River Delta and investigates the relationships among managers, workers, community members, NGO staff members, and volunteers. Although state repression and funding concerns limit the space for workers and subalterns to represent themselves and act politically in China, the internal organizational structure of labor NGOs such as this has exacerbated their stagnation. This is due to a top-down decision-making process, a lack of democratic participation and transparency, selective inclusion, a neglect of collective possibilities, and techno-social features such as social media technology. The result is maintenance of the status quo. These organizational limitations prevent community-based labor NGOs from functioning as a progressive force and turns them into marginal social forces that strive to survive and are incapable of representing workers and adjusting to workers changing needs. Scientific understanding of the evolution law of territorial space patterns and the ability to reveal the formation mechanism hold great significance for the sustainable utilization of territorial resources and the high-quality green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB). In this study, we used the spatial chord diagram, landscape pattern index, and geographical probe to explore the evolution characteristics and formation mechanism of the territorial space pattern of the YREB from 2000 to 2020. The results showed the following: (1) The territorial space showed obvious geographical hierarchical distribution characteristics in the topographic gradient. Production and living space was dominant throughout the low and middle terrain region. Ecological space was dominant throughout the high-terrain regions. With the increase of altitude and slope, production and living space contracted, whereas ecological space areas expanded. (2) Since 2000, the territorial space has changed more dramatically. Over time, living space tended to increase, and production and ecological space tended to decrease, but ecological space was always dominant. In space, the geographical differentiation of territorial space was more obvious, and the pattern was relatively stable, with production space distributed primarily in the middle and lower reaches, living space distributed primarily in the lower reaches, and ecological space distributed primarily in the middle and upper reaches. The inter-transformation between territorial spaces was more frequent, and the transformation trajectory was diversified. (3) The fragmentation, heterogeneity, and dispersion of territorial space landscape patches throughout the whole region increased, and the balance and diversity of territorial space utilization improved. (4) Natural factors have continued to weaken the intensity of their effect on territorial space. Human factors gradually increased the extent of their interference in the territorial space. There are significant differences in the extent of the role of these different factors on the territorial space of the whole region and each basin. Ground‐level ozone (O3) and atmospheric fine particulate matter (PM2.5) pollution are the major challenges for continually improving air quality in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region of China. Understanding regional transport patterns of PM2.5 and O3 pollution is essential for the development of regional cooperative prevention strategies. This study shows the annual concentration of PM2.5 in the YRD decreased by 18.5% from 2015 to 2018, while the mean values of the daily maximum 8‐hr average (MDA8) O3 concentration from March to October increased by 16.3%. A complex network method is utilized to investigate the regional transport of PM2.5 and O3 in different grid cells (nodes). The source apportionment method within the chemistry transport model is applied to verify the reliability of the complex network method. Interregional and intraregional transport play an important role in both PM2.5 and O3 over the YRD. The northern part of the YRD contributes much more than other areas, while the central part of the YRD, especially the southern part of Jiangsu, is the largest contributor of O3 in the YRD in the summer, accounting for about 70%. Intraregional transport plays more of a major role in increasing PM2.5 pollution than O3 pollution. This study not only verifies the transport patterns of heavy pollution through the complex network method and traditional source apportionment technology, it also reveals that both methods provide great potential in understanding transport patterns and air pollution relationships, which are the solid foundation for emission mitigation in the YRD region. Four research cruises were carried out during March and July in 2015 and 2016 in the Changjiang (Yangtze) River Estuary and the adjacent shelf. Nutrient concentrations (regarded as static parameters) were measured in the surface and bottom waters collected at 86–99 stations over the course of these cruises. In addition, unfiltered seawater samples were incubated onboard for 48 hr to measure the potential change rates of nutrients (regarded as dynamic parameters). These parameters can help directly elucidate non‐conservative behaviors of nutrients in order to determine whether seawater serves as a source or a sink. Large nutrient sinks (with more negative variation rates) were consistently found at the surface during the two July cruises at the stations just along the outside edge of the turbidity maximum zone near the mouth of the river. Negative rates, although with much smaller magnitudes, were also found in most bottom water samples in July and at both the surface and bottom in March. The high net nutrient uptake rates at the surface in the summer triggered bloom events later at the seaward stations, showing that high net nutrient uptake is the cause and high chlorophyll‐a is the consequence of the bloom. Such information about biogeochemical cycling of nutrients and the mechanisms and development of bloom events occurring in large river estuarine and coastal areas could not have been obtained if these static and dynamic parameters had not been studied together. Plain Language Summary: In this study, we proved the ability of estuary as the "biogeochemical filter" in the large‐river dominated areas and directly elucidated nutrient non‐conservative behaviors. The concentration parameters (static parameters) revealed more about the instantaneous situations of nutrients, while the change rates (dynamic parameters) focused more on potential change trends of nutrients. Large nutrient sinks (with more negative variation rates) were consistently found at the surface during the summer at the stations just along the outside edge of the turbidity maxima zone. Our data indicated the high net nutrient variation rates at the surface in the summer triggered the bloom events later at the stations seaward away with distances of several tens of kilometers. Based on the comprehensive evaluation method, a comprehensive urban ecological carrying capacity (UECC) evaluation system is established. It includes ecological support, ecological resilience, and ecological pressure. Multiscale geographically weighted regression (MGWR) was used to conduct a thorough examination of the spatial and temporal patterns, and the factors that influenced the UECC of 286 prefecture-level cities in China from 2010 to 2019. The results show that (1) China's UECC index ranges from 0.0233 to 0.2811 in 2019, which is still at a low level. (2) The spatial distribution is relatively stable: high-value agglomerations of UECC are distributed primarily in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, while low-value agglomerations are primarily distributed in the regions in the Central Plains. (3) All influencing factors have a positive effect on the improvement of UECC and are heterogeneous in spatial distribution. Based on the panel data of eleven provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt of China from 2008 to 2018, both the optimization index of the industrial structure and environmental performance indexes are calculated. Then, the impact of industrial structure optimization on the improvement of ecological environmental performance was investigated by applying the static panel model and threshold model. The results show that the optimization of the industrial structure of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has a significant role in promoting the improvement of environmental performance in general. Still, the rationalization of the industrial structure has a single threshold effect. The upgrading of regional industrial structure in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the rationalization of regional industrial structure in the Yangtze River's upper reaches are more conducive to improving ecological environment performance. Therefore, in the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the downstream region should strengthen scientific and technological innovation, strive to break through the core and critical technologies, and mainly build clean and efficient green service industries. Biodiversity in the Middle and Lower Yangtze Floodplain has critically decreased during the last several decades, driven by numerous determinants. Hence, identification of primary drivers of animal population decline is a priority for conservation. Analyzing long time-series data is a powerful way to assess drivers of declines, but the data are often missing, hampering effective conservation policymaking. In this study, based on twenty-four years (from 1996 to 2019) of annual maximal count data, we investigated the effects of climate and landscape changes on the increasing population trend of the Greater White-Fronted Goose (Anser albifrons) at a Ramsar site in the Middle and Lower Yangtze Floodplain, China. Our results showed that the availability of a suitable habitat and landscape attributes are the key driving forces affecting the population trend, while the effects of climate factors are weak. Specifically, increasing the area of suitable habitat and alleviating habitat fragmentation through a fishing ban policy may have provided a more suitable habitat to the geese, contributing to the increasing population trend. However, we also observed that the grazing prohibition policy implemented in 2017 at Shengjin Lake may have potentially negatively affected geese abundance, as grazing by larger herbivores may favor smaller geese species by modifying the vegetation community and structure. The identification of regional production-living-ecological space (PLES) is the basic work for the optimization of territorial space, which can point to the direction for the protection, utilization and restoration of regional territorial space. Identification and optimization of PLES in an ecological foundation area in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River is of great significance for ensuring national ecological security and promoting sustainable social development. In this study, Jiangjin District, located at the tail of the Three Gorges Reservoir area, was selected as a case study. Moreover, based on the land use data of the study area in 2018, the coordination among production, living and ecological functions are analyzed, and the PLES is identified by using the evaluation method of land production-living-ecological function (PLEF) and the coupling coordination degree model. Then, we formulated an optimized zoning scheme of the PLES according to the principles of ecological priority, area advantage and coordinated development. The results show that (1) The living function and production function presented obvious spatial consistency in the study area, while the spatial distribution of ecological function and production function presented significant spatial complementarity. (2) Four categories of spatial combinations can be identified in the study area. Overall, the study area presented a national spatial pattern with production-living-ecological balanced space (PLEBS) and ecological space (ES) as the main body. (3) The PLES in the study area can be divided into four categories. The ecological function should be determined by the ecological conservation area as the primary responsibility, and the comprehensive improvement zone should further improve the coupling and coordination relationship among the PLEF. Moreover, the main production-living and ecological improvement zone and the main production-ecological and living improvement zone should realize the coordinated development of the PLES on the basis of strengthening the leading function. With the continuous occurrence of natural disasters, natural hazard triggered technological accident (Natech) risks also follow. At present, many countries have performed much research on Natech risks. However, there is still a lack of Natech research at the regional or watershed level in China. The Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) is not only an industrially intensive development area but also an area with frequent natural disasters. In this study, we selected the YREB as a typical case to study the Natech risk triggered by floods, geological disasters, and typhoons at the regional or watershed level. Four types of risk indicators representing risk sources, natural hazard factors, control levels, and vulnerabilities were developed to assess the spatial patterns of the Natech risks of the YREB. The results show that the Natech risk triggered by floods and typhoons is more serious in eastern area and central area than in western zone and that the Natech risk triggered by geological disasters is more serious in the west part. Approximately 7.85% of the areas are at relatively high-risk and above the Natech risk level based on the comprehensive assessment of three types of Natech risks. The combined population of these areas accounts for approximately 15.67% of the whole YREB, and the combined GDP accounts for approximately 25.41%. It can be predicted that the occurrence of Natech risks in these areas will cause serious harm to both the people and the economy.
