Objective: To map the software programs developed to operationalize the nursing process in patient care in health services. Methods: This is a scoping review developed within the recommendations of the Joanna Briggs Institute and PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews. A search was carried out in seven databases, a library, eight databases and an academic search engine with no time limit. Results: 19,645 studies were found, of them were included 35. 51% addressed Nursing Theory and 20% of the studies covered the entire nursing process. In addition, 82% used the Nursing Process in a fragmented way. The highlighted target audience for which the software programs were developed: adults (26; 74.2%), and the hospital service (33; 94%). Conclusion: It was understood through this study that Brazilian nursing seeks systems that can provide subsidies regarding the application of knowledge in nursing care and process.

Abstract Background Cardiovascular diseases cause the death of 17.5 million people every year. Cardiac catheterization is an invasive diagnostic exam that allows treatment followed by the examination and can cause some complications such as pain. From this perspective, music has alleviated suffering and promoted pain relief for patients. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of music therapy to relieve pain in adults and older adults during femoral arterial sheath removal after cardiac catheterization. Methods This is a randomized controlled clinical trial, with two arms and a single-blind design to be carried out with 68 patients equally allocated into control and experimental groups. The intervention will be applied with the use of headphones without any musical transmission in the control group or with the patient’s musical preference in the experimental group with sound intensity of 60 dB. These patients will be evaluated in three moments: immediately before, during and 15 min after the painful procedure. The primary outcome includes reduction of pain intensity verified by the Visual Analogue Scale and the secondary outcome corresponds to improvement of vital signs and vocal and facial pain expressions. Discussion This study will allow by testing a non-pharmacological strategy to relieve pain during femoral sheath removal after cardiac catheterization, having its parameters evaluated at three moments: immediately before (30 min), during the procedure and 15 min after the painful procedure. It also enables the use of a low-cost, potentially effective resource that makes nursing care more humanized by improving user satisfaction with the service provided, in addition to reducing the need for post-procedure analgesics. Trial registration This study is registered on the Brazilian Clinical Trials Registry (REBEC) platform under number RBR-3t3qwp7 (05/04/2022) and was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte under CAAE 52,586,521.8.0000.5537 (11/11/2021).

Given the epidemiological relevance of tuberculosis and human immunodeficiency virus (TB-HIV) coinfection and the scarcity of recent data analysis provided by the Notifiable Diseases Information System, it is essential to analyze the spatial distribution of TB-HIV coinfection in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the spatial distribution and epidemiological profile of TB-HIV co-infection cases between 2001 and 2018 in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. This is an ecological study whose population was of confirmed cases of TB-HIV co-infection between the years 2001 to 2018 in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Data were obtained from the Informatics Department of the Unified Health System, from the Notifiable Diseases Information System, which were tabulated in Microsoft Excel and analyzed using descriptive statistics. For the spatial analysis, the TerraView software was used to calculate the Global Moran Index and then the Local Moran Index. Between 2001 and 2018 there were 1,576 confirmed cases of TB-HIV coinfection in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Of these 1,197 (76%) were males aged between 20 and 39 years (56.47%). The predominant clinical form was pulmonary TB in 1,102 (69.82%) cases. The results obtained showed a positive autocorrelation between the most urbanized cities in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, which are located in health regions I, II, III, and VII. Adult males aged 20-39 years, having an incomplete primary education, and living in urban areas were the most frequent characteristics according to the epidemiological profile of the population. Thus, it is advised that health professionals who serve this population affected by these infections should be trained and have empathy.

Introdução: As hepatites virais são doenças causadas por vírus que possuem tropismo pelo tecido hepático e apresentam características epidemiológicas, clínicas e laboratoriais distintas. Objetivo: Descrever a série histórica e perfil epidemiológico dos casos confirmados de hepatites virais do estado do Rio Grande do Norte no período de 2008 a 2018. Materiais e Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo ecológico de série histórica. Para a caracterização clínica, foram utilizadas as variáveis fonte de infecção, forma clínica, classificação etológica, sorologias e classificação final dos casos de hepatites virais no estado do Rio Grande do Norte. Utilizou-se dados disponíveis do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação de 2008 a 2018. Resultados: Houve 3.069 casos com variações irregulares dos números durante os anos, com mínima de 125 casos confirmados em 2015, chegando até a máxima de 445 no ano de 2013. No tocante ao sexo, percebe-se que o masculino com 1.774 com 58,91% dos casos. De acordo com a faixa etária, a que mais destacou-se foi a de 40 a 59 anos, com 912 representando cerca de 29,71% dos casos. E sobre as regiões de saúde, a metropolitana foi onde ocorreu o maior número de casos, com 1.200 (39,10%). Sobre a sua etiologia viral os mais predominantes foram HAV (40,72%), HCV (34,58%) e seguido do HBV (18,68%). A principal fonte de transmissão dos vírus hepatotrópicos foi por alimento/água, e suas formas clínicas mais prevalentes foram hepatite aguda com 1448 eventos (47,18%) em seguida da crônica com 1387 (45,20%). Conclusão: No estado do Rio Grande do Norte existe uma variação irregular de casos confirmados durante os anos, trazendo como características socioeconômicas e clínicas, o vírus A com maior incidência, estando relacionado a transmissão fecal-oral e as condições locais de higiene e saneamento básico. Assim, como forma clínica mostra a prevalência de hepatite aguda no estado.

Objetivo: desenvolver uma definição operacional do conceito “raciocínio diagnóstico” em enfermagem. Materiais e métodos: trata-se de uma análise de conceito segundo o modelo de Walker e Avant. Foram seguidos todos os passos do referencial: seleção do conceito; determinação dos objetivos e das propostas para a análise conceitual; identificação dos possíveis usos do conceito; determinação dos atributos definidores; identificação de um caso modelo; identificação do caso contrários; identificação dos antecedentes e dos consequentes do conceito. Resultados: selecionou-se uma amostra de 20 estudos, nos quais foram identificados os atributos: pensamento especializado, habilidades cognitivas, conhecimento existente, competência intelectual; raciocínio orientado para a hipótese; antecedentes: avaliação clínica, experiência prática, interpretações dos dados, intuição, julgamento diagnóstico, processamento de informações, raciocínio clínico; consequentes: avanço dos cuidados de enfermagem, comunicação, planejamento de intervenções, agir sobre o problema identificado, alcance de resultados eficazes, ações autônomas, qualidade da documentação do paciente. Conclusões: o estudo contribui com a compreensão da definição operacional do conceito de raciocínio diagnóstico em enfermagem por meio da identificação dos atributos essenciais, dos antecedentes e dos consequentes.
