Pose distillation is widely adopted to reduce model size in human pose estimation. However, existing methods primarily emphasize the transfer of teacher knowledge while often neglecting the performance degradation resulted from the curse of capacity gap between teacher and student. To address this issue, we propose AgentPose, a novel pose distillation method that integrates a feature agent to model the distribution of teacher features and progressively aligns the distribution of student features with that of the teacher feature, effectively overcoming the capacity gap and enhancing the ability of knowledge transfer. As critical visual details become obscured, the low visibility and high ISO noise in extremely low-light images pose a significant challenge to human pose estimation. Current methods fail to provide high-quality representations due to reliance on pixel-level enhancements that compromise semantics and the inability to effectively handle extreme low-light conditions for robust feature learning. In this work, we propose a frequency-based framework for low-light human pose estimation, rooted in the "divide-and-conquer" principle. Instead of uniformly enhancing the entire image, our method focuses on task-relevant information. By applying dynamic illumination correction to the low-frequency components and low-rank denoising to the high-frequency components, we effectively enhance both the semantic and texture information essential for accurate pose estimation. As a result, this targeted enhancement method results in robust, high-quality representations, significantly improving pose estimation performance. Kernel density estimation (KDE) has become a popular method for visual analysis in various fields, such as financial risk forecasting, crime clustering, and traffic monitoring. KDE can identify high-density areas from discrete datasets. However, most existing works only consider planar distance and spatial data. In this paper, we introduce a new model, called TN-KDE, that applies KDE-based techniques to road networks with temporal data. Specifically, we introduce a novel solution, Range Forest Solution (RFS), which can efficiently compute KDE values on spatiotemporal road networks. To support the insertion operation, we present a dynamic version, called Dynamic Range Forest Solution (DRFS). We also propose an optimization called Lixel Sharing (LS) to share similar KDE values between two adjacent lixels. Furthermore, our solutions support many non-polynomial kernel functions and still report exact values. Experimental results show that our solutions achieve up to 6 times faster than the state-of-the-art method.

Repetitive action counting (RAC) aims to estimate the number of class-agnostic action occurrences in a video without exemplars. Most current RAC methods rely on a raw frame-to-frame similarity representation for period prediction. However, this approach can be significantly disrupted by common noise such as action interruptions and inconsistencies, leading to sub-optimal counting performance in realistic scenarios. In this paper, we introduce a foreground localization optimization objective into similarity representation learning to obtain more robust and efficient video features. We propose a Localization-Aware Multi-Scale Representation Learning (LMRL) framework. Specifically, we apply a Multi-Scale Period-Aware Representation (MPR) with a scale-specific design to accommodate various action frequencies and learn more flexible temporal correlations. Furthermore, we introduce the Repetition Foreground Localization (RFL) method, which enhances the representation by coarsely identifying periodic actions and incorporating global semantic information. These two modules can be jointly optimized, resulting in a more discerning periodic action representation. Our approach significantly reduces the impact of noise, thereby improving counting accuracy. Additionally, the framework is designed to be scalable and adaptable to different types of video content. Generating synthetic Computed Tomography (CT) images from Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is desirable for improving the image quality of CBCT. Existing synthetic CT (sCT) generation methods using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Transformers often face difficulties in effectively capturing both global and local features and contrasts for high-quality sCT generation. In this work, we propose a Global-Local Feature and Contrast learning (GLFC) framework for sCT generation. First, a Mamba-Enhanced UNet (MEUNet) is introduced by integrating Mamba blocks into the skip connections of a high-resolution UNet for effective global and local feature learning. Second, we propose a Multiple Contrast Loss (MCL) that calculates synthetic loss at different intensity windows to improve quality for both soft tissues and bone regions. Experiments on the SynthRAD2023 dataset demonstrate that GLFC improved the SSIM of sCT from 77.91% to 91.50% compared with the original CBCT, and significantly outperformed several existing methods for sCT generation. Text classification is a fundamental task in natural language processing, pivotal to various applications such as query optimization, data integration, and schema matching. While neural network-based models, such as CNN and BERT, have demonstrated remarkable performance in text classification, their effectiveness heavily relies on abundant labeled training data. This dependency makes these models less effective in dynamic few-shot text classification, where labeled data is scarce, and target labels frequently evolve based on application needs. Recently, large language models (LLMs) have shown promise due to their extensive pretraining and contextual understanding. Current approaches provide LLMs with text inputs, candidate labels, and additional side information (e.g., descriptions) to predict text labels. However, their effectiveness is hindered by the increased input size and the noise introduced through side information processing. To address these limitations, we propose a graph-based online retrieval-augmented generation framework, namely GORAG, for dynamic few-shot text classification. GORAG constructs and maintains an adaptive information graph by extracting side information across all target texts, rather than treating each input independently. It employs a weighted edge mechanism to prioritize the importance and reliability of extracted information and dynamically retrieves relevant context using a minimum-cost spanning tree tailored for each text input. Empirical evaluations demonstrate that GORAG outperforms existing approaches by providing more comprehensive and accurate contextual information.

Graphs are essential data structures for modeling complex interactions in domains such as social networks, molecular structures, and biological systems. Graph-level tasks, which predict properties or classes for the entire graph, are critical for applications, such as molecular property prediction and subgraph counting. Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have shown promise in these tasks, but their evaluations are often limited to narrow datasets, tasks, and inconsistent experimental setups, restricting their generalizability. To address these limitations, we propose a unified evaluation framework for graph-level GNNs. This framework provides a standardized setting to evaluate GNNs across diverse datasets, various graph tasks (e.g., graph classification and regression), and challenging scenarios, including noisy, imbalanced, and few-shot graphs. Additionally, we propose a novel GNN model with enhanced expressivity and generalization capabilities. Specifically, we enhance the expressivity of GNNs through a $k$-path rooted subgraph approach, enabling the model to effectively count subgraphs (e.g., paths and cycles). Moreover, we introduce a unified graph contrastive learning algorithm for graphs across diverse domains, which adaptively removes unimportant edges to augment graphs, thereby significantly improving generalization performance. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our model achieves superior performance against fourteen effective baselines across twenty-seven graph datasets, establishing it as a robust and generalizable model for graph-level tasks.

Many existing methods that use functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) classify brain disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), often overlook the integration of spatial and temporal dependencies of the blood oxygen level-dependent (BOLD) signals, which may lead to inaccurate or imprecise classification results. To solve this problem, we propose a Spatio-Temporal Aggregation eorganization ransformer (STARFormer) that effectively captures both spatial and temporal features of BOLD signals by incorporating three key modules. The region of interest (ROI) spatial structure analysis module uses eigenvector centrality (EC) to reorganize brain regions based on effective connectivity, highlighting critical spatial relationships relevant to the brain disorder. The temporal feature reorganization module systematically segments the time series into equal-dimensional window tokens and captures multiscale features through variable window and cross-window attention. The spatio-temporal feature fusion module employs a parallel transformer architecture with dedicated temporal and spatial branches to extract integrated features. The proposed STARFormer has been rigorously evaluated on two publicly available datasets for the classification of ASD and ADHD. The experimental results confirm that the STARFormer achieves state-of-the-art performance across multiple evaluation metrics, providing a more accurate and reliable tool for the diagnosis of brain disorders and biomedical research. Motivated by the high temperature superconductivity observed in the bilayer nickelate La$_3$Ni$_2$O$_7$ and the spectroscopic evidences of strong electron correlations in this compound, we address the role of its multiorbital electron correlations by proposing a global phase diagram of a bilayer two-orbital Hubbard model. We find a Mott transition developing at half filling, and identify strong orbital selectivity when the system is at the physical electron count. The orbital selectivity is manifested in the formation of interlayer spin singlets between electrons in the $z^2$ orbitals. These features lead to a strong renormalization of the electronic band structure while sustaining a sizable splitting between the bonding and antibonding $z^2$ bands. The proposed orbital-selective correlations naturally explain a series of features as observed in the angular resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) and optical conductivity measurements in La$_3$Ni$_2$O$_7$. Our results provide a basis to understand both the normal state and the high temperature superconductivity of multilayer nickelates and thereby elucidate correlated superconductivity in general., Comment: 6+5 pages, 4+5 figures

Diffusion models have emerged as a powerful framework for generative modeling, achieving state-of-the-art performance across various tasks. However, they face several inherent limitations, including a training-sampling gap, information leakage in the progressive noising process, and the inability to incorporate advanced loss functions like perceptual and adversarial losses during training. To address these challenges, we propose an innovative end-to-end training framework that aligns the training and sampling processes by directly optimizing the final reconstruction output. Our method eliminates the training-sampling gap, mitigates information leakage by treating the training process as a direct mapping from pure noise to the target data distribution, and enables the integration of perceptual and adversarial losses into the objective. Extensive experiments on benchmarks such as COCO30K and HW30K demonstrate that our approach consistently outperforms traditional diffusion models, achieving superior results in terms of FID and CLIP score, even with reduced sampling steps. Large Language Models (LLMs) have revolutionized a wide range of domains such as natural language processing, computer vision, and multi-modal tasks due to their ability to comprehend context and perform logical reasoning. However, the computational and memory demands of LLMs, particularly during inference, pose significant challenges when scaling them to real-world, long-context, and real-time applications. Key-Value (KV) cache management has emerged as a critical optimization technique for accelerating LLM inference by reducing redundant computations and improving memory utilization. This survey provides a comprehensive overview of KV cache management strategies for LLM acceleration, categorizing them into token-level, model-level, and system-level optimizations. Token-level strategies include KV cache selection, budget allocation, merging, quantization, and low-rank decomposition, while model-level optimizations focus on architectural innovations and attention mechanisms to enhance KV reuse. System-level approaches address memory management, scheduling, and hardware-aware designs to improve efficiency across diverse computing environments. Additionally, the survey provides an overview of both text and multimodal datasets and benchmarks used to evaluate these strategies. By presenting detailed taxonomies and comparative analyses, this work aims to offer useful insights for researchers and practitioners to support the development of efficient and scalable KV cache management techniques, contributing to the practical deployment of LLMs in real-world applications. Traffic flow prediction plays a critical role in the intelligent transportation system, and it is also a challenging task because of the underlying complex Spatio-temporal patterns and heterogeneities evolving across time. However, most present works mostly concentrate on solely capturing Spatial-temporal dependency or extracting implicit similarity graphs, but the hybrid-granularity evolution is ignored in their modeling process. In this paper, we proposed a novel data-driven end-to-end framework, named Spatio-Temporal Aware Hybrid Graph Network (STAHGNet), to couple the hybrid-grained heterogeneous correlations in series simultaneously through an elaborately Hybrid Graph Attention Module (HGAT) and Coarse-granularity Temporal Graph (CTG) generator. Furthermore, an automotive feature engineering with domain knowledge and a random neighbor sampling strategy is utilized to improve efficiency and reduce computational complexity. The MAE, RMSE, and MAPE are used for evaluation metrics. Tested on four real-life datasets, our proposal outperforms eight classical baselines and four state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods (e.g., MAE 14.82 on PeMSD3; MAE 18.92 on PeMSD4). Besides, extensive experiments and visualizations verify the effectiveness of each component in STAHGNet. In terms of computational cost, STAHGNet saves at least four times the space compared to the previous SOTA models. Fine-tuning has emerged as a critical process in leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for specific downstream tasks, enabling these models to achieve state-of-the-art performance across various domains. However, the fine-tuning process often involves sensitive datasets, introducing privacy risks that exploit the unique characteristics of this stage. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive survey of privacy challenges associated with fine-tuning LLMs, highlighting vulnerabilities to various privacy attacks, including membership inference, data extraction, and backdoor attacks. We further review defense mechanisms designed to mitigate privacy risks in the fine-tuning phase, such as differential privacy, federated learning, and knowledge unlearning, discussing their effectiveness and limitations in addressing privacy risks and maintaining model utility. By identifying key gaps in existing research, we highlight challenges and propose directions to advance the development of privacy-preserving methods for fine-tuning LLMs, promoting their responsible use in diverse applications.

Compressing integer keys is a fundamental operation among multiple communities, such as database management (DB), information retrieval (IR), and high-performance computing (HPC). Recent advances in \emph{learned indexes} have inspired the development of \emph{learned compressors}, which leverage simple yet compact machine learning (ML) models to compress large-scale sorted keys. The core idea behind learned compressors is to \emph{losslessly} encode sorted keys by approximating them with \emph{error-bounded} ML models (e.g., piecewise linear functions) and using a \emph{residual array} to guarantee accurate key reconstruction. While the concept of learned compressors remains in its early stages of exploration, our benchmark results demonstrate that an SIMD-optimized learned compressor can significantly outperform state-of-the-art CPU-based compressors. Drawing on our preliminary experiments, this vision paper explores the potential of learned data compression to enhance critical areas in DBMS and related domains. Furthermore, we outline the key technical challenges that existing systems must address when integrating this emerging methodology.

The tool-use ability of Large Language Models (LLMs) has a profound impact on a wide range of industrial applications. However, LLMs' self-control and calibration capability in appropriately using tools remains understudied. The problem is consequential as it raises potential risks of degraded performance and poses a threat to the trustworthiness of the models. In this paper, we conduct a study on a family of state-of-the-art LLMs on three datasets with two mainstream tool-use frameworks. Our study reveals the tool-abuse behavior of LLMs, a tendency for models to misuse tools with overconfidence. We also find that this is a common issue regardless of model capability. Accordingly, we propose a novel approach, \textit{SMARTCAL}, to mitigate the observed issues, and our results show an average of 8.6 percent increase in the QA performance and a 21.6 percent decrease in Expected Calibration Error (ECE) compared to baseline models.

Estimating spatial distributions is important in data analysis, such as traffic flow forecasting and epidemic prevention. To achieve accurate spatial distribution estimation, the analysis needs to collect sufficient user data. However, collecting data directly from individuals could compromise their privacy. Most previous works focused on private distribution estimation for one-dimensional data, which does not consider spatial data relation and leads to poor accuracy for spatial distribution estimation. In this paper, we address the problem of private spatial distribution estimation, where we collect spatial data from individuals and aim to minimize the distance between the actual distribution and estimated one under Local Differential Privacy (LDP). To leverage the numerical nature of the domain, we project spatial data and its relationships onto a one-dimensional distribution. We then use this projection to estimate the overall spatial distribution. Specifically, we propose a reporting mechanism called Disk Area Mechanism (DAM), which projects the spatial domain onto a line and optimizes the estimation using the sliced Wasserstein distance. Through extensive experiments, we show the effectiveness of our DAM approach on both real and synthetic data sets, compared with the state-of-the-art methods, such as Multi-dimensional Square Wave Mechanism (MDSW) and Subset Exponential Mechanism with Geo-I (SEM-Geo-I). Ridesharing services play an essential role in modern transportation, which significantly reduces traffic congestion and exhaust pollution. In the ridesharing problem, improving the sharing rate between riders can not only save the travel cost of drivers but also utilize vehicle resources more efficiently. The existing online-based and batch-based methods for the ridesharing problem lack the analysis of the sharing relationship among riders, leading to a compromise between efficiency and accuracy. In addition, the graph is a powerful tool to analyze the structure information between nodes. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a framework, namely StructRide, to utilize the structure information to improve the results for ridesharing problems. Specifically, we extract the sharing relationships between riders to construct a shareability graph. Then, we define a novel measurement shareability loss for vehicles to select groups of requests such that the unselected requests still have high probabilities of sharing. Our SARD algorithm can efficiently solve dynamic ridesharing problems to achieve dramatically improved results. Through extensive experiments, we demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of our SARD algorithm on two real datasets. Hybrid battery thermal management systems (HBTMS) combining active liquid cooling and passive phase change materials (PCM) cooling have shown a potential for the thermal management of lithium-ion batteries. However, the fill volume of coolant and PCM in hybrid cooling systems is limited by the size and weight of the HBTMS at high charge/discharge rates. These limitations result in reduced convective heat transfer from the coolant during discharge. The liquefaction rate of PCM is accelerated and the passive cooling effect is reduced. In this paper, we propose a compact hybrid cooling system with multi-inlet U-shaped microchannels for which the gap between channels is embedded by PCM/aluminum foam for compactness. Nanofluid cooling (NC) technology with better thermal conductivity is used. A pulsed flow function is further developed for enhanced cooling (EC) with reduced power consumption. An experimentally validated thermal-fluid dynamics model is developed to optimize operating conditions including coolant type, cooling direction, channel height, inlet flow rate, and cooling scheme. The results show that the hybrid cooling solution of NC+PCM+EC adopted by HBTMS further reduces the maximum temperature of the Li-ion battery by 3.44{\deg}C under a discharge rate of 1C at room temperature of 25{\deg}C with only a 5% increase in power consumption, compared to the conventional liquid cooling method for electric vehicles (EV). The average number of battery charges has increased by about 6 to 15 percent. The results of this study can help improve the range as well as driving safety of new energy EV.

In topological materials, Berry curvature leads to intrinsic Hall responses. Focusing on time-reversal symmetric systems with broken inversion symmetry, a spontaneoous (zero magnetic field) Hall effect is expected to develop under an applied electric field. Motivated by recent developments in Weyl-Kondo semimetals, here we advance a fully nonequilibrium (FNE) Hall response due to the Berry curvature. In particular, we show that, while the spontaneous Hall current is quadratic in the previously described regime of weak electric field, due to the contribution from the dipole moment of the Berry curvature, the FNE Hall response for non-perturbative electric fields is not controlled by the Berry curvature dipole. Remarkably, the FNE Hall response resembles what happens in systems that break the microscopic time-reversal symmetry. We illustrate the universality of these results by comparing them with their counterparts in systems with any higher-multipole of the Berry curvature. Nonlinear electrodynamics in materials manifests as an electronic response that depends on second- or higher-order powers of the applied electromagnetic field. This response is highly dependent on the underlying crystal symmetries in the material and is typically smaller than the linear responses. Nonlinear responses are therefore usually employed to expose the symmetry breaking, geometric properties of the electronic band structure in materials. Naturally, a material system with a strong nonlinear response is also the key component in nonlinear devices. Here we report the strong room-temperature second-harmonic transport response in a quantum magnet,TbMn6Sn6, which is governed by the quantum metric and can be tuned with applied magnetic fields and temperature. We show that around room temperature, which is close to the spontaneous spin-reorientation transition, the magnetic configurations, and therefore the related symmetry breaking phases, are easily controlled. Soft metals like lithium and sodium play a critical role in battery technology owing to their high energy density. Texture formation by grain selection growth of soft metals during electrochemical processes is a crucial factor affecting power and safety. Developing a framework to understand and control grain growth is a multifaceted challenge. Here, a general thermodynamic theory and phase-field model are formulated to study grain selection growth of soft metals. Our study focuses on the interplay between surface energy and atomic mobility-related intrinsic strain energy in grain selection growth. Differences in grain selection growth arise from the anisotropy in surface energy and diffusion barrier of soft metal atoms. Our findings highlight the kinetic limitations of solid-state Li metal batteries, which originate from load stress-induced surface energy anisotropy. Recent advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs) have significantly enhanced their capacity to process long contexts. However, effectively utilizing this long context remains a challenge due to the issue of distraction, where irrelevant information dominates lengthy contexts, causing LLMs to lose focus on the most relevant segments. To address this, we propose a novel training method that enhances LLMs' ability to discern relevant information through a unique combination of retrieval-based data augmentation and contrastive learning. Specifically, during fine-tuning with long contexts, we employ a retriever to extract the most relevant segments, serving as augmented inputs. We then introduce an auxiliary contrastive learning objective to explicitly ensure that outputs from the original context and the retrieved sub-context are closely aligned. Extensive experiments on long single-document and multi-document QA benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method.

Large Language Models (LLMs) have recently garnered significant attention in various domains, including recommendation systems. Recent research leverages the capabilities of LLMs to improve the performance and user modeling aspects of recommender systems. These studies primarily focus on utilizing LLMs to interpret textual data in recommendation tasks. However, it's worth noting that in ID-based recommendations, textual data is absent, and only ID data is available. The untapped potential of LLMs for ID data within the ID-based recommendation paradigm remains relatively unexplored. To this end, we introduce a pioneering approach called "LLM for ID-based Recommendation" (LLM4IDRec). This innovative approach integrates the capabilities of LLMs while exclusively relying on ID data, thus diverging from the previous reliance on textual data. The basic idea of LLM4IDRec is that by employing LLM to augment ID data, if augmented ID data can improve recommendation performance, it demonstrates the ability of LLM to interpret ID data effectively, exploring an innovative way for the integration of LLM in ID-based recommendation. We evaluate the effectiveness of our LLM4IDRec approach using three widely-used datasets. Our results demonstrate a notable improvement in recommendation performance, with our approach consistently outperforming existing methods in ID-based recommendation by solely augmenting input data.

Accurate forecasting of spatiotemporal data remains challenging due to complex spatial dependencies and temporal dynamics. The inherent uncertainty and variability in such data often render deterministic models insufficient, prompting a shift towards probabilistic approaches, where diffusion-based generative models have emerged as effective solutions. In this paper, we present ProGen, a novel framework for probabilistic spatiotemporal time series forecasting that leverages Stochastic Differential Equations (SDEs) and diffusion-based generative modeling techniques in the continuous domain. By integrating a novel denoising score model, graph neural networks, and a tailored SDE, ProGen provides a robust solution that effectively captures spatiotemporal dependencies while managing uncertainty. Our extensive experiments on four benchmark traffic datasets demonstrate that ProGen outperforms state-of-the-art deterministic and probabilistic models. This work contributes a continuous, diffusion-based generative approach to spatiotemporal forecasting, paving the way for future research in probabilistic modeling and stochastic processes.

In the task of code translation, neural network-based models have been shown to frequently produce semantically erroneous code that deviates from the original logic of the source code. This issue persists even with advanced large models. Although a recent approach proposed using test cases to identify these semantic errors, it relies heavily on the quality of the test cases and is not applicable to code snippets without test cases in real-world scenarios. Therefore, We present EISP, a static analysis framework based on the Large Language Model (LLM).First, the framework generates a semantic mapping between source code and translated code. Next, each sub-code fragment is identified by recursively traversing the abstract syntax tree of the source code, and its corresponding translated code fragment is found through the semantic mapping. Finally, EISP connects each pair of sub-code fragments with fine-grained knowledge hints through an AI chain to assist LLMs in discovering semantic mistakes in the translated code. In our benchmark evaluation, the EISP framework, based on GPT-4o mini, achieved an accuracy of 82.3\%, representing a 20.3\% improvement over baseline methods using the same base model, and a 7.4\% improvement compared to dynamic analysis methods that require test cases and manual intervention. To our knowledge, EISP is the first tool to locate semantic errors in translated code without test cases or compilable code. This innovative tool provides the software engineering community with a new way to deal with code fragments without test cases.

To ensure the thriving development of low-altitude economy, countering unauthorized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is an essential task. The existing widely deployed base stations hold great potential for joint communication and jamming. In light of this, this paper investigates the joint design of beamforming to simultaneously support communication with legitimate users and countermeasure against unauthorized UAVs based on dual-functional multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) cellular systems. We first formulate a joint communication and jamming (JCJ) problem, relaxing it through semi-definite relaxation (SDR) to obtain a tractable semi-definite programming (SDP) problem, with SDR providing an essential step toward simplifying the complex JCJ design. Although the solution to the relaxed SDP problem cannot directly solve the original problem, it offers valuable insights for further refinement. Therefore, we design a novel constraint specifically tailored to the structure of the SDP problem, ensuring that the solution adheres to the rank-1 constraint of the original problem. Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly leveraged to empower autonomous agents to simulate human beings in various fields of behavioral research. However, evaluating their capacity to navigate complex social interactions remains a challenge. Previous studies face limitations due to insufficient scenario diversity, complexity, and a single-perspective focus. To this end, we introduce AgentSense: Benchmarking Social Intelligence of Language Agents through Interactive Scenarios. Drawing on Dramaturgical Theory, AgentSense employs a bottom-up approach to create 1,225 diverse social scenarios constructed from extensive scripts. We evaluate LLM-driven agents through multi-turn interactions, emphasizing both goal completion and implicit reasoning. We analyze goals using ERG theory and conduct comprehensive experiments. Our findings highlight that LLMs struggle with goals in complex social scenarios, especially high-level growth needs, and even GPT-4o requires improvement in private information reasoning. We introduce SeaDAG, a semi-autoregressive diffusion model for conditional generation of Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs). Considering their inherent layer-wise structure, we simulate layer-wise autoregressive generation by designing different denoising speed for different layers. Unlike conventional autoregressive generation that lacks a global graph structure view, our method maintains a complete graph structure at each diffusion step, enabling operations such as property control that require the full graph structure. Leveraging this capability, we evaluate the DAG properties during training by employing a graph property decoder. We explicitly train the model to learn graph conditioning with a condition loss, which enhances the diffusion model's capacity to generate graphs that are both realistic and aligned with specified properties. We evaluate our method on two representative conditional DAG generation tasks: (1) circuit generation from truth tables, where precise DAG structures are crucial for realizing circuit functionality, and (2) molecule generation based on quantum properties. Our approach demonstrates promising results, generating high-quality and realistic DAGs that closely align with given conditions.

In this technical report, we introduce OpenR, an open-source framework designed to integrate key components for enhancing the reasoning capabilities of large language models (LLMs). OpenR unifies data acquisition, reinforcement learning training (both online and offline), and non-autoregressive decoding into a cohesive software platform. Our goal is to establish an open-source platform and community to accelerate the development of LLM reasoning. Inspired by the success of OpenAI's o1 model, which demonstrated improved reasoning abilities through step-by-step reasoning and reinforcement learning, OpenR integrates test-time compute, reinforcement learning, and process supervision to improve reasoning in LLMs. Our work is the first to provide an open-source framework that explores the core techniques of OpenAI's o1 model with reinforcement learning, achieving advanced reasoning capabilities beyond traditional autoregressive methods. We demonstrate the efficacy of OpenR by evaluating it on the MATH dataset, utilising publicly available data and search methods. Our initial experiments confirm substantial gains, with relative improvements in reasoning and performance driven by test-time computation and reinforcement learning through process reward models. Magnetic kagome materials provide a fascinating playground for exploring the interplay of magnetism, correlation and topology. Many magnetic kagome systems have been reported including the binary FemXn (X=Sn, Ge; m:n = 3:1, 3:2, 1:1) family and the rare earth RMn6Sn6 (R = rare earth) family, where their kagome flat bands are calculated to be near the Fermi level in the paramagnetic phase. While partially filling a kagome flat band is predicted to give rise to a Stoner-type ferromagnetism, experimental visualization of the magnetic splitting across the ordering temperature has not been reported for any of these systems due to the high ordering temperatures, hence leaving the nature of magnetism in kagome magnets an open question. Here, we probe the electronic structure with angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy in a kagome magnet thin film FeSn synthesized using molecular beam epitaxy. We identify the exchange-split kagome flat bands, whose splitting persists above the magnetic ordering temperature, indicative of a local moment picture. Such local moments in the presence of the topological flat band are consistent with the compact molecular orbitals predicted in theory. We further observe a large spin-orbital selective band renormalization in the Fe d_xy+d_(x^2-y^2 ) spin majority channel reminiscent of the orbital selective correlation effects in the iron-based superconductors. Our discovery of the coexistence of local moments with topological flat bands in a kagome system echoes similar findings in magic-angle twisted bilayer graphene, and provides a basis for theoretical effort towards modeling correlation effects in magnetic flat band systems.

Learned indexes have attracted significant research interest due to their ability to offer better space-time trade-offs compared to traditional B+-tree variants. Among various learned indexes, the PGM-Index based on error-bounded piecewise linear approximation is an elegant data structure that has demonstrated \emph{provably} superior performance over conventional B+-tree indexes. In this paper, we explore two interesting research questions regarding the PGM-Index: (a) \emph{Why are PGM-Indexes theoretically effective?} and (b) \emph{Why do PGM-Indexes underperform in practice?} For question~(a), we first prove that, for a set of $N$ sorted keys, the PGM-Index can, with high probability, achieve a lookup time of $O(\log\log N)$ while using $O(N)$ space. To the best of our knowledge, this is the \textbf{tightest bound} for learned indexes to date. For question~(b), we identify that querying PGM-Indexes is highly memory-bound, where the internal error-bounded search operations often become the bottleneck. To fill the performance gap, we propose PGM++, a \emph{simple yet effective} extension to the original PGM-Index that employs a mixture of different search strategies, with hyper-parameters automatically tuned through a calibrated cost model. Extensive experiments on real workloads demonstrate that PGM++ establishes a new Pareto frontier. At comparable space costs, PGM++ speeds up index lookup queries by up to $\mathbf{2.31\times}$ and $\mathbf{1.56\times}$ when compared to the original PGM-Index and state-of-the-art learned indexes.

Contemporary hardware design benefits from the abstraction provided by high-level logic gates, streamlining the implementation of logic circuits. Logic Synthesis Optimization (LSO) operates at one level of abstraction within the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workflow, targeting improvements in logic circuits with respect to performance metrics such as size and speed in the final layout. Recent trends in the field show a growing interest in leveraging Machine Learning (ML) for EDA, notably through ML-guided logic synthesis utilizing policy-based Reinforcement Learning (RL) methods.Despite these advancements, existing models face challenges such as overfitting and limited generalization, attributed to constrained public circuits and the expressiveness limitations of graph encoders. To address these hurdles, and tackle data scarcity issues, we introduce LSOformer, a novel approach harnessing Autoregressive transformer models and predictive SSL to predict the trajectory of Quality of Results (QoR). LSOformer integrates cross-attention modules to merge insights from circuit graphs and optimization sequences, thereby enhancing prediction accuracy for QoR metrics. Experimental studies validate the effectiveness of LSOformer, showcasing its superior performance over baseline architectures in QoR prediction tasks, where it achieves improvements of 5.74%, 4.35%, and 17.06% on the EPFL, OABCD, and proprietary circuits datasets, respectively, in inductive setup.

A crucial activity in software maintenance and evolution is the comprehension of the changes performed by developers, when they submit a pull request and/or perform a commit on the repository. Typically, code changes are represented in the form of code diffs, textual representations highlighting the differences between two file versions, depicting the added, removed, and changed lines. This simplistic representation must be interpreted by developers, and mentally lifted to a higher abstraction level, that more closely resembles natural language descriptions, and eases the creation of a mental model of the changes. However, the textual diff-based representation is cumbersome, and the lifting requires considerable domain knowledge and programming skills. We present an approach, based on the concept of micro-change, to overcome these difficulties, translating code diffs into a series of pre-defined change operations, which can be described in natural language. We present a catalog of micro-changes, together with an automated micro-change detector. To evaluate our approach, we performed an empirical study on a large set of open-source repositories, focusing on a subset of our micro-change catalog, namely those related to changes affecting the conditional logic. Machine learning (ML) models have become increasingly valuable in weather forecasting, providing forecasts that not only lower computational costs but often match or exceed the accuracy of traditional numerical weather prediction (NWP) models. Despite their potential, ML models typically suffer from limitations such as coarse temporal resolution, typically 6 hours, and a limited set of meteorological variables, limiting their practical applicability. To overcome these challenges, we introduce FuXi-2.0, an advanced ML model that delivers 1-hourly global weather forecasts and includes a comprehensive set of essential meteorological variables, thereby expanding its utility across various sectors like wind and solar energy, aviation, and marine shipping. Our study conducts comparative analyses between ML-based 1-hourly forecasts and those from the high-resolution forecast (HRES) of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) for various practical scenarios. The results demonstrate that FuXi-2.0 consistently outperforms ECMWF HRES in forecasting key meteorological variables relevant to these sectors. In particular, FuXi-2.0 shows superior performance in wind power forecasting compared to ECMWF HRES, further validating its efficacy as a reliable tool for scenarios demanding precise weather forecasts. Additionally, FuXi-2.0 also integrates both atmospheric and oceanic components, representing a significant step forward in the development of coupled atmospheric-ocean models. Further comparative analyses reveal that FuXi-2.0 provides more accurate forecasts of tropical cyclone intensity than its predecessor, FuXi-1.0, suggesting that there are benefits of an atmosphere-ocean coupled model over atmosphere-only models.

Despite significant progress in deep learning for financial trading, existing models often face instability and high uncertainty, hindering their practical application. Leveraging advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-agent architectures, we propose a novel framework for quantitative stock investment in portfolio management and alpha mining. Our framework addresses these issues by integrating LLMs to generate diversified alphas and employing a multi-agent approach to dynamically evaluate market conditions. This paper proposes a framework where large language models (LLMs) mine alpha factors from multimodal financial data, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics. The first module extracts predictive signals by integrating numerical data, research papers, and visual charts. The second module uses ensemble learning to construct a diverse pool of trading agents with varying risk preferences, enhancing strategy performance through a broader market analysis. In the third module, a dynamic weight-gating mechanism selects and assigns weights to the most relevant agents based on real-time market conditions, enabling the creation of an adaptive and context-aware composite alpha formula. Extensive experiments on the Chinese stock markets demonstrate that this framework significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baselines across multiple financial metrics. The results underscore the efficacy of combining LLM-generated alphas with a multi-agent architecture to achieve superior trading performance and stability. This work highlights the potential of AI-driven approaches in enhancing quantitative investment strategies and sets a new benchmark for integrating advanced machine learning techniques in financial trading can also be applied on diverse markets.

Electronic Design Automation (EDA) is essential for IC design and has recently benefited from AI-based techniques to improve efficiency. Logic synthesis, a key EDA stage, transforms high-level hardware descriptions into optimized netlists. Recent research has employed machine learning to predict Quality of Results (QoR) for pairs of And-Inverter Graphs (AIGs) and synthesis recipes. However, the severe scarcity of data due to a very limited number of available AIGs results in overfitting, significantly hindering performance. Additionally, the complexity and large number of nodes in AIGs make plain GNNs less effective for learning expressive graph-level representations. To tackle these challenges, we propose MTLSO - a Multi-Task Learning approach for Logic Synthesis Optimization. On one hand, it maximizes the use of limited data by training the model across different tasks. This includes introducing an auxiliary task of binary multi-label graph classification alongside the primary regression task, allowing the model to benefit from diverse supervision sources. On the other hand, we employ a hierarchical graph representation learning strategy to improve the model's capacity for learning expressive graph-level representations of large AIGs, surpassing traditional plain GNNs. Extensive experiments across multiple datasets and against state-of-the-art baselines demonstrate the superiority of our method, achieving an average performance gain of 8.22\% for delay and 5.95\% for area.

Traditional simulation of complex mechanical systems relies on numerical solvers of Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), e.g., using the Finite Element Method (FEM). The FEM solvers frequently suffer from intensive computation cost and high running time. Recent graph neural network (GNN)-based simulation models can improve running time meanwhile with acceptable accuracy. Unfortunately, they are hard to tailor GNNs for complex mechanical systems, including such disadvantages as ineffective representation and inefficient message propagation (MP). To tackle these issues, in this paper, with the proposed Up-sampling-only and Adaptive MP techniques, we develop a novel hierarchical Mesh Graph Network, namely UA-MGN, for efficient and effective mechanical simulation. Evaluation on two synthetic and one real datasets demonstrates the superiority of the UA-MGN. For example, on the Beam dataset, compared to the state-of-the-art MS-MGN, UA-MGN leads to 40.99% lower errors but using only 43.48% fewer network parameters and 4.49% fewer floating point operations (FLOPs).

Register Transfer Level (RTL) code optimization is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and performance of digital circuits during early synthesis stages. Currently, optimization relies heavily on manual efforts by skilled engineers, often requiring multiple iterations based on synthesis feedback. In contrast, existing compiler-based methods fall short in addressing complex designs. This paper introduces RTLRewriter, an innovative framework that leverages large models to optimize RTL code. A circuit partition pipeline is utilized for fast synthesis and efficient rewriting. A multi-modal program analysis is proposed to incorporate vital visual diagram information as optimization cues. A specialized search engine is designed to identify useful optimization guides, algorithms, and code snippets that enhance the model ability to generate optimized RTL. Additionally, we introduce a Cost-aware Monte Carlo Tree Search (C-MCTS) algorithm for efficient rewriting, managing diverse retrieved contents and steering the rewriting results. Furthermore, a fast verification pipeline is proposed to reduce verification cost. To cater to the needs of both industry and academia, we propose two benchmarking suites: the Large Rewriter Benchmark, targeting complex scenarios with extensive circuit partitioning, optimization trade-offs, and verification challenges, and the Small Rewriter Benchmark, designed for a wider range of scenarios and patterns. Our comparative analysis with established compilers such as Yosys and E-graph demonstrates significant improvements, highlighting the benefits of integrating large models into the early stages of circuit design. Significance: Cerebral blood flow (CBF) imaging is crucial for diagnosing cerebrovascular diseases. However, existing large neuroimaging techniques with high cost, low sampling rate, and poor mobility make them unsuitable for continuous and longitudinal CBF monitoring at the bedside. Aim: This study aimed to develop a low-cost, portable, programmable scanning diffuse speckle contrast imaging (PS-DSCI) technology for fast, high-density, and depth-sensitive imaging of CBF in rodents. Approach: The PS-DSCI employed a programmable digital micromirror device (DMD) for remote line-shape laser (785 nm) scanning on tissue surface and synchronized a 2D camera for capturing boundary diffuse laser speckle contrasts. New algorithms were developed to address deformations of line-shape scanning, thus minimizing CBF reconstruction artifacts. The PS-DSCI was examined in head-simulating phantoms and adult mice. Results: The PS-DSCI enables resolving Intralipid particle flow contrasts at different tissue depths. In vivo experiments in adult mice demonstrated the capability of PS-DSCI to image global/regional CBF variations induced by 8% CO2 inhalation and transient carotid artery ligations. Conclusions: Compared to conventional point scanning, the line scanning in PS-DSCI significantly increases spatiotemporal resolution. A digraph is $s$-arc-transitive if its automorphism group is transitive on directed paths with $s$ edges, that is, on $s$-arcs. Although infinite families of finite $s$-arc transitive digraphs of arbitrary valency were constructed by the third author in 1989, existence of a vertex-primitive $2$-arc-transitive digraph was not known until an infinite family was constructed by the second author with Li and Xia in 2017. This led to a conjecture by the second author and Xia in 2018 that, for a finite vertex-primitive $s$-arc-transitive digraph, $s$ is at most $2$, together with their proof that it is sufficient to prove the conjecture for digraphs with an almost simple group of automorphisms. This paper confirms the conjecture for finite symplectic groups.

Recently, superconductivity has been observed in twisted WSe$_2$ moir\'{e} structures (Xia et al., arXiv:2405.14784; Guo et al., arXiv:2406.03418). Its transition temperature is high, reaching a few percent of the Fermi temperature scale. Here, we advance a mechanism for superconductivity based on the notion that electronic topology enables quantum fluctuations in a suitable regime of intermediate correlations. In this regime, the Coulomb interaction requires that an active topological flat band and nearby wider bands are considered together. Compact molecular orbitals arise, which experience quantum fluctuations through topology-dictated hybridization with the other molecular orbitals. The hybridization competes with the active flat band' natural tendency towards static electronic ordering, thereby weakening the latter; we link this effect with certain salient observations by experiments. Furthermore, the competition yields a quantum critical regime where quasiparticles are lost. The corresponding quantum critical fluctuations drive superconductivity. Chip design relies heavily on generating Boolean circuits, such as AND-Inverter Graphs (AIGs), from functional descriptions like truth tables. This generation operation is a key process in logic synthesis, a primary chip design stage. While recent advances in deep learning have aimed to accelerate circuit design, these efforts have mostly focused on tasks other than synthesis, and traditional heuristic methods have plateaued. In this paper, we introduce ShortCircuit, a novel transformer-based architecture that leverages the structural properties of AIGs and performs efficient space exploration. Contrary to prior approaches attempting end-to-end generation of logic circuits using deep networks, ShortCircuit employs a two-phase process combining supervised with reinforcement learning to enhance generalization to unseen truth tables. We also propose an AlphaZero variant to handle the double exponentially large state space and the reward sparsity, enabling the discovery of near-optimal designs. To evaluate the generative performance of our model , we extract 500 truth tables from a set of 20 real-world circuits. ShortCircuit successfully generates AIGs for $98\%$ of the 8-input test truth tables, and outperforms the state-of-the-art logic synthesis tool, ABC, by $18.62\%$ in terms of circuits size.

Learning from Label Proportion (LLP) is a weakly supervised learning scenario in which training data is organized into predefined bags of instances, disclosing only the class label proportions per bag. This paradigm is essential for user modeling and personalization, where user privacy is paramount, offering insights into user preferences without revealing individual data. LLP faces a unique difficulty: the misalignment between bag-level supervision and the objective of instance-level prediction, primarily due to the inherent ambiguity in label proportion matching. Previous studies have demonstrated deep representation learning can generate auxiliary signals to promote the supervision level in the image domain. However, applying these techniques to tabular data presents significant challenges: 1) they rely heavily on label-invariant augmentation to establish multi-view, which is not feasible with the heterogeneous nature of tabular datasets, and 2) tabular datasets often lack sufficient semantics for perfect class distinction, making them prone to suboptimality caused by the inherent ambiguity of label proportion matching. To address these challenges, we propose an augmentation-free contrastive framework TabLLP-BDC that introduces class-aware supervision (explicitly aware of class differences) at the instance level. Our solution features a two-stage Bag Difference Contrastive (BDC) learning mechanism that establishes robust class-aware instance-level supervision by disassembling the nuance between bag label proportions, without relying on augmentations. Concurrently, our model presents a pioneering multi-task pretraining pipeline tailored for tabular-based LLP, capturing intrinsic tabular feature correlations in alignment with label proportion distribution. Extensive experiments demonstrate that TabLLP-BDC achieves state-of-the-art performance for LLP in the tabular domain.

Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), like other neural networks, have shown remarkable success but are hampered by the complexity of their architecture designs, which heavily depend on specific data and tasks. Traditionally, designing proper architectures involves trial and error, which requires intensive manual effort to optimize various components. To reduce human workload, researchers try to develop automated algorithms to design GNNs. However, both experts and automated algorithms suffer from two major issues in designing GNNs: 1) the substantial computational resources expended in repeatedly trying candidate GNN architectures until a feasible design is achieved, and 2) the intricate and prolonged processes required for humans or algorithms to accumulate knowledge of the interrelationship between graphs, GNNs, and performance. To further enhance the automation of GNN architecture design, we propose a computation-friendly way to empower Large Language Models (LLMs) with specialized knowledge in designing GNNs, thereby drastically shortening the computational overhead and development cycle of designing GNN architectures. Our framework begins by establishing a knowledge retrieval pipeline that comprehends the intercorrelations between graphs, GNNs, and performance. This pipeline converts past model design experiences into structured knowledge for LLM reference, allowing it to quickly suggest initial model proposals. Subsequently, we introduce a knowledge-driven search strategy that emulates the exploration-exploitation process of human experts, enabling quick refinement of initial proposals within a promising scope. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our framework can efficiently deliver promising (e.g., Top-5.77%) initial model proposals for unseen datasets within seconds and without any prior training and achieve outstanding search performance in a few iterations.

Background: Search-based refactoring involves searching for a sequence of refactorings to achieve specific objectives. Although a typical objective is improving code quality, a different perspective is also required; the searched sequence must undergo review before being applied and may not be applied if the review fails or is postponed due to no proper reviewers. Aim: Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the searched sequence of refactorings can be reviewed promptly by reviewers who meet two criteria: 1) having enough expertise and 2) being free of heavy workload. The two criteria are regarded as the review availability of the refactoring sequence. Method: We propose MORCoRA, a multi-objective search-based technique that can search for code quality improvable, semantic preserved, and high review availability possessed refactoring sequences and corresponding proper reviewers. Results: We evaluate MORCoRA on six open-source repositories. The quantitative analysis reveals that MORCoRA can effectively recommend refactoring sequences that fit the requirements. The qualitative analysis demonstrates that the refactorings recommended by MORCoRA can enhance code quality and effectively address code smells. Furthermore, the recommended reviewers for those refactorings possess high expertise and are available to review. Magic states and magic gates are crucial for achieving universal computation, but some important questions about how magic resources should be implemented to attain quantum advantage have remained unexplored, for instance, in the context of Measurement-based Quantum Computation (MQC) with only single-qubit measurements. This work bridges the gap between MQC and the resource theory of magic by introducing the concept of ``invested'' and ``potential" magic resources. The former quantifies the magic cost associated with the MQC framework, serving both as a witness of magic resources and an upper bound for the realization of a desired unitary transformation. Potential magic resources represent the maximum achievable magic resource in a given graph structure defining the MQC. We utilize these concepts to analyze the magic resource requirements of the Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT) and provide a fresh perspective on the universality of MQC of different resource states, highlighting the crucial role of non-Pauli measurements for injecting magic. We demonstrate experimentally our theoretical predictions in a high-fidelity four-photon setup and demonstrate the efficiency of MQC in generating magic states, surpassing the limitations of conventional magic state injection methods. To unravel the profound impact of such group support on a system's resilience against cascading failures, we devise a framework comprising a double-layer interdependent hypergraph system, wherein nodes are capable of receiving support via hyperedges. Our central hypothesis posits that the failure may transcend to another layer when all support groups of each dependent node fail, thereby initiating a potentially iterative cascade across layers. Through rigorous analytical methods, we derive the critical threshold for the initial node survival probability that marks the second-order phase transition point. A salient discovery is that as the prevalence of dependent nodes escalates, the system dynamics shift from a second-order to a first-order phase transition. Notably, irrespective of the collapse pattern, systems characterized by scale-free hyperdegree distributions within both hypergraph layers consistently demonstrate superior robustness compared to those adhering to Poisson hyperdegree distributions. In summary, our research underscores the paramount significance of group support mechanisms and intricate network topologies in determining the resilience of interconnected systems against the propagation of cascading failures. The moir\'{e} structure of AB-stacked $\rm{MoTe_2/WSe_2}$ represents a natural platform to realize Kondo lattice models, due to the discrepancy of the bandwidth between the individual layers. Here, we study this system at the commensurate filling of $\nu_{\rm tot}=2$. Our focus is on the $1+1$ filling setting of $\nu_{\rm Mo} =\nu_{\rm W}=1$, which enables a Kondo lattice description. We find a Kondo semimetal due to the sizable intra-orbital hopping among the electrons in the $\rm{MoTe_2}$ layer. The Kondo-driven (emergent) flat band is naturally pinned to the Fermi energy. When combined with the inherent topology of the electronic structure, a topological Kondo semimetal phase ensues. We calculate the valley Hall response and, due to the breaking of inversion symmetry, also identify a spontaneous Hall effect. There is a Berry curvature dodecapole, which leads to a fourth-order spontaneous Hall effect in the perturbative regime of the electric field that is further amplified in the non-perturbative regime. As such, the system provides a tunable setting to simulate topological Kondo semimetals. Finally, we discuss the pathways that connect the physics realized here to the Weyl Kondo semimetals and their proximate phases that have been advanced in recent years in topological Kondo lattice models and materials., Comment: 10 pages, 5 figures

Accurate driver attention prediction can serve as a critical reference for intelligent vehicles in understanding traffic scenes and making informed driving decisions. Though existing studies on driver attention prediction improved performance by incorporating advanced saliency detection techniques, they overlooked the opportunity to achieve human-inspired prediction by analyzing driving tasks from a cognitive science perspective. During driving, drivers' working memory and long-term memory play crucial roles in scene comprehension and experience retrieval, respectively. Together, they form situational awareness, facilitating drivers to quickly understand the current traffic situation and make optimal decisions based on past driving experiences. To explicitly integrate these two types of memory, this paper proposes an Adaptive Hybrid-Memory-Fusion (AHMF) driver attention prediction model to achieve more human-like predictions. Specifically, the model first encodes information about specific hazardous stimuli in the current scene to form working memories. Then, it adaptively retrieves similar situational experiences from the long-term memory for final prediction. Utilizing domain adaptation techniques, the model performs parallel training across multiple datasets, thereby enriching the accumulated driving experience within the long-term memory module. Compared to existing models, our model demonstrates significant improvements across various metrics on multiple public datasets, proving the effectiveness of integrating hybrid memories in driver attention prediction.

In software development, the raw requirements proposed by users are frequently incomplete, which impedes the complete implementation of application functionalities. With the emergence of large language models, recent methods with the top-down waterfall model employ a questioning approach for requirement completion, attempting to explore further user requirements. However, users, constrained by their domain knowledge, lack effective acceptance criteria, which fail to capture the implicit needs of the user. Moreover, the cumulative errors of the waterfall model can lead to discrepancies between the generated code and user requirements. The Agile methodologies reduce cumulative errors through lightweight iteration and collaboration with users, but the challenge lies in ensuring semantic consistency between user requirements and the code generated. We propose AgileGen, an agile-based generative software development through human-AI teamwork. AgileGen attempts for the first time to use testable requirements by Gherkin for semantic consistency between requirements and code. Additionally, we innovate in human-AI teamwork, allowing users to participate in decision-making processes they do well and enhancing the completeness of application functionality. Finally, to improve the reliability of user scenarios, a memory pool mechanism is used to collect user decision-making scenarios and recommend them to new users.
