Thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) based optical microresonators offer large nonlinear coefficient d_33 and high light-wave confinement, allowing highly efficient second-order optical nonlinear frequency conversion. Here, we achieved ultra-efficiency second harmonic generation (SHG) from high-Q polygon modes by maximizing the utilization of the highest nonlinear coefficient d_33 in a monocrystalline X-cut TFLN microdisk resonator for the first time. The polygon modes are designed and formed with two parallel sides perpendicular to the optical axis of the lithium niobate crystal by introducing weak perturbations into the microdisk of a tapered fiber, which maximizes the utilization of d_33. The polygon modes exhibit ultrahigh intrinsic Q factors of ~3.86X10(7), due to the fact that polygon modes are located far from the relatively rough sidewall of the microdisk. Moreover, the pump and second harmonic polygon modes share high modal overlap factor of ~80%. Consequently, SHG from cavity polygon modes with absolute conversion efficiency as high as 48.08% was realized at an on-chip pump level of only 4.599 mW without fine domain structures, surpassing the best results (23% and 30%) reported in other two domain-inversion-free phase matching schemes and even approaching the record (52%) in PPLN microresonators., Comment: 17 pages, 4 figures

The rapid advancement of lithium niobate on insulator (LNOI) photonics has spurred interest in approaches to develop ultra-narrow linewidth Brillouin microlasers. Here we demonstrate an integrated Brillouin microlaser with 118-Hz intrinsic linewidth and 3.15-mW threshold power in a dispersion engineered and suspended LNOI microdisk resonator of 116 um diameter. Benefited from the ultrahigh Q factor and sub-millimeter-scale microresonator, large Brillouin gain is attained via the backward intermodal SBS between the dual-resonant optical WGMs with a 10-GHz whispering-gallery mechanical mode, while satisfying the requirements of both energy and momentum conservations. Such strong optomechanical coupling up to 12.1 kHz is promising for a record narrow linewidth and a lowest stimulated Brillouin laser threshold value within sub-millimeter-scale integrated microresonators reported so far. Ultralight bosons, proposed as candidates for dark matter, are predicted by various new physics models. In the presence of bosons with suitable masses, superradiant (SR) instability can naturally transform a spinning black hole (BH) into a gravitational atom (GA). Here we study the dynamics of intermediate mass-ratio inspirals (IMRIs) around a GA formed by ultralight vector field saturated in its SR ground state. We employ a perturbative model at the leading Newtonian order to consistently account for both the conservative effect of cloud gravity and the dissipative effect of cloud ionization. We find the cloud can make a sizable negative contribution to the secular periastron precession at binary separations comparable to the gravitational Bohr radius. Meanwhile, the backreaction of ionization could significantly accelerate the process of orbital decay and circularization. Considering reasonably small vector boson masses, we investigate the adiabatic orbital evolution and gravitational waveforms of eccentric inspirals. The results indicate that vector GAs might be detectable through observations of low-frequency IMRIs by future space-based gravitational-wave detectors, such as LISA and Taiji., Comment: 26 pages, 14 figures

Extreme mass-ratio hyperbolic encounters (EMRHEs) around the supermassive black holes will be observable at the future gravitational-wave (GW) detectors in space, such as LISA and Taiji. Here we consider such EMRHEs in the presence of surrounding matter distribution including baryonic accretion disk and dark matter (DM) spike, and estimate their effects on the orbital evolution and GW waveforms. We find that large possible impacts come from the gravitational potential of accretion disk, while the influence of DM spike is small. We also illustrate that environments can leave distinctive imprints on the GW waveforms, but resolving such modifications is found to be challenging for LISA-like detectors in the near future., Comment: 20 pages, 10 figures

We demonstrate an on-chip lithium niobate micro-disk laser based on hydrogen cyanide (H13C14N) gas saturation absorption method for frequency stabilization. The laser chip consists of two main components: a micro-disk laser and a combined racetrack ring cavity. By operating on the H13C14N P12 absorption line at 1551.3 nm, the laser frequency can be precisely stabilized. The laser demonstrates remarkable stability, achieving a best stability value of 9*10^-9. Furthermore, the short-term stability, evaluated over continuous time intervals of 35 seconds, showcases exceptional performance. Additionally, the residual drift remains well below 30 MHz.

We design and fabricate an 8-channel thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) arrayed-waveguide grating (AWG) and demonstrate the electro-optical tunability of the device. The monolithically integrated microelectrodes are designed for waveguides phase modulation and wavelength tunning. Experiments show that the fabricated electro-optically controlled TFLN AWG has a channel spacing of 200 GHz and a wavelength tuning efficiency of 10 pm/V.

Multi-wavelength switchable single-frequency microlasers in a broad spectral range are highly desirable for integrated photonic applications due to their dynamic switching functionality, narrow linewidth, and high side-mode-suppression-ratio (SMSR). Here, a strategy based on highly efficient successive excitation of different stimulated multi-photon hyper-Raman scattering (SMPHRS) processes is proposed to generate multi-wavelength switchable single-frequency hyper-Raman microlasers. This is achieved through collective precise dispersion management for arranging excitation wavelengths to trigger different phase-matched SMPHRS processes in order, mode-hopping-free tuning of the pump wavelength within a wide range of 0.75 nm by leveraging strong thermo-optical broadening of ultra-high Q modes, and simultaneously suppressing harmonics generation in a lithium niobate microcavity with high second-order nonlinearity. As a result, under continuous-wave laser pump at a low level of only 3.9 mW, SMPHRS processes from two- to five-photons emerged step by step and almost depleted previously generated multi-photon Raman signal. Consequently, four-wavelength dynamically switchable single-mode lasing from near infrared (857 nm) to ultraviolet (350 nm) spanning beyond the record range (~500 nm) with high SMSRs >35 dB is reported., Comment: 17 pages,5 figures, and 1 table

We demonstrated a continuously tunable laser system by butt coupling a reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) chip with a thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) based multi-channel interference (MCI) cavity chip. This hybrid integrated lasers allows for fine-tuning of the laser wavelength from 1538 nm to 1560 nm with a resolution of 0.014 nm and a side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) exceeding 30 dB. The MCI cavity chip is fabricated using the photolithography assisted chemo-mechanical etching (PLACE) technique. The developed laser has an output power of approximately 10 {\mu}W, which can be further amplified to 70 mW using a commercial erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) without significant broadening of the laser linewidth.

This paper presents a compact dual-arm thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) electro-optic phase modulator fabricated using the photolithography-assisted chemo-mechanical etching (PLACE) technique. The design of the device allows for complete utilization of the microwave electric field, doubling the modulation efficiency compared to single-arm modulators in theory. With a half-wave voltage of approximately 3 V and a modulation length of 1 cm, the device outperforms conventional phase modulators. Furthermore, the phase modulator exhibits low sensitivity to optical wavelengths in the range of 1510-1600 nm and offers a low insertion loss of 2.8 dB. The capability to generate multiple sideband signals for optical frequency comb applications is also demonstrated, producing 29 sideband signals at an input microwave power of 2 W.

We demonstrate high-power thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) erbium-doped waveguide amplifier (EDWA) with a maximum on-chip output power of 113 mW and a gain of 16 dB. The on-chip integrated EDWA is composed of large mode area (LMA) waveguide structures with a total length of 7 cm and a footprint of 1x1 cm2. Particularly, we connect segmented LMA waveguides with waveguide tapers to achieve on-chip mode conversion which maintains single-mode propagation all over the EDWA even at the waveguide bends. The design leads to significant increase of the amplified signal power by orders of magnitude and will open an avenue for applications such as on-chip high-power lasers and amplifiers system., Comment: 13 pages, 4 figures

Perfect absorption of light critically affects light-matter interaction for various applications. Coherent perfect absorbers (CPA) gain the unique capability of controlling light with light in a linear fashion. Multi-color CPAs [Phys. Rev. Lett. 107, 033901] are highly desirable for broadband and nonlinear light-to-light coherent control, however, the experimental demonstration has still remained elusive. Here we experimentally observe a dual-color version of CPA (DC-CPA) through a second harmonic generation in a single whispering-gallery-mode microcavity. The DC-CPA enables simultaneous perfect absorption of both the incoming fundamental wave and its second harmonic. Similar to its linear counterpart, coherent control in the DC-CPA can be also realized by tuning the relative phase and intensity between the two-colored waves through nonlinear interference instead of the linear one. This scheme breaks the linear boundary of the traditional CPA into a multi-frequency domain and paves the way toward all-optically signal processing and quantum information.

Thermometric techniques with high accuracy, fast response speed and ease of implementation are desirable for the study of dynamic combustion environments, transient reacting flows, and non-equilibrium plasmas. Herein, single-shot single-beam coherent Raman scattering (SS-CRS) thermometry is developed, for the first time to our knowledge, by using air lasing as a probe. It's proved that the air-lasing-assisted CRS signal has a high signal-to-noise ratio enabling single-shot measurements at a 1 kHz repetition rate. The SS-CRS thermometry consistently exhibits precision better than 2% at different temperatures, but the inaccuracy grows with the increase in temperature. The high detection precision, 1 kHz acquisition rate and easy-to-implement single-beam scheme are achieved thanks to the unique temporal, spectral and spatial characteristics of air lasing. This work opens a novel avenue for high-speed CRS thermometry, holding tremendous potential for fast diagnostics of transient reacting flows and plasmas., Comment: 15 pages, 4 figures

Photonic neural networks (PNNs) have emerged as a promising platform to address the energy consumption issue that comes with the advancement of artificial intelligence technology, and thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) offers an attractive solution as a material platform mainly for its combined characteristics of low optical loss and large electro-optic (EO) coefficients. Here, we present the first implementation of an EO tunable PNN based on the TFLN platform. Our device features ultra-high fidelity, high computation speed, and exceptional power efficiency. We benchmark the performance of our device with several deep learning missions including in-situ training of Circle and Moons nonlinear datasets classification, Iris flower species recognition, and handwriting digits recognition. Subwavelength gratings play a fundamental and pivotal role in numerous science and applications for wave manipulation, exhibiting distinctive features such as filtering, phase manipulation, and anti-reflection. However, conventional fabrication methods for ultrasmall periodic structures are constrained by the fundamental optical diffraction limit, making it challenging to produce subwavelength gratings for optics. Here, we demonstrate a novel technique to build a reconfigurable subwavelength photorefractive grating (SPG) in a thin-film lithium niobate on the platform of an optical microcavity. Such SPGs are optically induced through the photorefractive effect and the subwavelength features originate from the spatial phase modulations of the pump's standing wave. The resulting SPGs lead to the mode splitting of two counter-propagating modes inside the microcavity, exhibiting an Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT)-like transmission spectrum. Moreover, the unique subwavelength characteristic of SPGs enables first-order quasi-phase-matching for backward second-harmonic generation, a long-standing problem in nonlinear optics. Also, free-space-to-chip vertical nonlinear frequency conversion can be achieved in a similar manner. These results provide a flexible approach towards fabricating subwavelength gratings, which holds significant potential in various applications such as nonlinear frequency conversion, optical communication, sensing, and quantum technologies.

Non-Hermitian degeneracies reveal intriguing and non-trivial behaviors in open physical systems. Examples like Parity-Time (PT) symmetry breaking, topological encircling chirality, and enhanced sensing near an exceptional point (EP) are often associated with the abrupt nature of the phase transition around these degeneracies. Here we experimentally observe a cavity-enhanced second-harmonic frequency (SHG) conversion on a PT symmetry line, i.e. a set consisting of open-ended isofrequency or isoloss lines, both terminated at EPs on the Riemann surface in parameter space. The enhancement factor can reach as high as 300, depending on the crossing point whether in the symmetry or the broken phase of the PT line. Moreover, such enhancement of SHG enables sensitive distance sensing with a nanometer resolution. Our works may pave the way for practical applications in sensing, frequency conversion, and coherent wave control.

Photonic integrated circuits based on erbium doped thin film lithium niobate on insulator has attracted broad interests with insofar various waveguide amplifiers and microlasers demonstrated. Wideband operation facilitated by the broadband absorption and emission of erbium ions necessitates the functional integration of wavelength filter and multiplexer on the same chip. Here a low-loss wavelength division multiplexer at the resonant pumping and emission wavelengths (~1480 nm and 1530~1560 nm) of erbium ions based on angled multimode interferometer, is realized in the erbium doped thin film lithium niobate on insulator fabricated by the photolithography assisted chemomechanical etching technique. The minimum on-chip insertion losses of the fabricated device are <0.7 dB for both wavelength ranges, and a 3-dB bandwidth of >20 nm is measured at the telecom C-band. Besides, direct visualization of the multimode interference pattern by the visible upconversion fluorescence of erbium ions compares well with the simulated light propagation in the multimode interferometer. We present the electromagnetic (EM) dipole radiation flux from an eccentric Keplerian binary endowed with scalar charges, in the presence of scalar-photon coupling $\phi A_\mu A^\mu$ or $\phi F_{\mu\nu}F^{\mu\nu}$. The scalar radiation is suppressed for orbital frequency below the scalar mass, while the scalar-mediated indirect EM radiation survives. We examine the constraints imposed on the scalar-photon and scalar-charge couplings by the current observational data, in case that the scalar charge is given by the muon number. Photonic integrated Raman microlasers, particularly discrete multi-color lasers which are crucial for extending the emission wavelength range of chip-scale laser sources to much shorter wavelength, are highly in demand for various spectroscopy, microscopy analysis, and biological detection. However, integrated multi-color Raman microlasers have yet to be demonstrated because of the requirement of high-Q microresonators possessing large second-order nonlinearity and strong Raman phonon branches and the challenging in cavity-enhanced multi-photon hyper-Raman scattering parametric process. In this work, integrated multi-color Raman lasers have been demonstrated for the first time at weak pump levels, via the excitation of high-Q (>6 X 10^6) phase-matched modes in single thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) microresonators by dispersion engineering. Raman lasing was observed at 1712 nm for a 1546-nm pump threshold power of only 620 uW. Furthermore, multi-color Raman lasers were realized at discrete wavelengths of 1712 nm, 813 nm, 533 nm and 406 nm with pump levels as low as 1.60 mW, which is more than two order of magnitude lower than the current records (i.e., 200 mW) in bulk resonators, allowed by the fulfillment of the requisite conditions consisting of broadband natural phase match, multiple-resonance and high Q-factors., Comment: 16 pages,4 figures

We report a thin-film lithium niobate electro-optic isolator fabricated by photolithography-assisted chemo-mechanical etching in this work. The device demonstrates 39.50 dB isolation when subjected to a 24 GHz microwave of 25.5 dBm on its electrodes. The measured isolation remains consistently above 30 dB within the 1510 nm to 1600 nm wavelength range. The overall device insertion loss, specifically the fiber-to-fiber insert loss, has been measured to be 2.6 dB, which is attributed to our highly efficient spot size converter and the low propagation loss observed in the fabricated waveguides.

Achieving spatiotemporal control of light at high-speeds presents immense possibilities for various applications in communication, computation, metrology, and sensing. The integration of subwavelength metasurfaces and optical waveguides offers a promising approach to manipulate light across multiple degrees of freedom at high-speed in compact photonic integrated circuit (PICs) devices. Here, we demonstrate a gigahertz-rate-switchable wavefront shaping by integrating metasurface, lithium niobite on insulator (LNOI) photonic waveguide and electrodes within a PIC device. As proofs of concept, we showcase the generation of a focus beam with reconfigurable arbitrary polarizations, switchable focusing with lateral focal positions and focal length, orbital angular momentum light beams (OAMs) as well as Bessel beams. Our measurements indicate modulation speeds of up to gigahertz rate. This integrated platform offers a versatile and efficient means of controlling light field at high-speed within a compact system, paving the way for potential applications in optical communication, computation, sensing, and imaging.

We demonstrate single-mode microdisk lasers in the telecom band with ultra-low thresholds on erbium-ytterbium co-doped thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN). The active microdisk were fabricated with high-Q factors by photo-lithography assisted chemo-mechanical etching. Thanks to the erbium-ytterbium co-doping providing high optical gain, the ultra-low loss nanostructuring, and the excitation of high-Q coherent polygon modes which suppresses multi-mode lasing and allows high spatial mode overlap factor between pump and lasing modes, single-mode laser emission operating at 1530 nm wavelength was observed with an ultra-low threshold, under 980-nm-band optical pump. The threshold was measured as low as 1 uW, which is one order of magnitude smaller than the best results previously reported in single-mode active TFLN microlasers. Large-scale, high-precision, and high-transparency microchannels hold great potential for developing high-performance continuous-flow photochemical reactions. We demonstrate ultrafast laser-enabled fabrication of 3D microchannel reactors in ultraviolet (UV) grade fused silica which exhibit high transparency under the illumination of UV light sources of wavelengths well below 300 nm with excellent mixing efficiency. With the fabricated glass microchannel reactors, we demonstrate continuous-flow UV photochemical synthesis of vitamin D3 with low power consumption of the UV light sources.

Anomalous microresonator dispersion is mandatory for Kerr soliton microcomb formation, which depends critically on the geometry of the microresonator and can hardly be tuned after the structure is made. To date, cavity-based microcombs have only been generated with fundamental whispering gallery modes (WGMs) of anomalous dispersion in microresonators. Moreover, microcomb generation in highly Raman-active platforms such as lithium niobate (LN) microresonators frequently suffers from stimulated Raman scattering and mode crossing due to the existence of multiple families of high-order WGMs. Here, we reveal a unique Kerr soliton microcomb generation mechanism through mode trimming in a weakly perturbed LN microdisk resonator. Remarkably, the soliton comb is generated with fundamental WGMs of normal dispersion and free from the mode crossing and Raman scattering effects. A robust soliton with a spectrum spanning from 1450 nm to 1620 nm at an on-chip pump power of 35 mW. Our discovery offers a powerful solution to circumvent the stringent requirements on high-precision dispersion engineering and termination of Raman excitation for soliton generation in the high-Q microdisk., Comment: 16 pages,and 5 figures

We demonstrate on-chip coherent beam combination of two waveguide amplifiers on Er$^{3+}$-doped thin film lithium niobate (Er: TFLN) platform. Our device is built based on an electro-optic modulator fabricated on Er: TFLN. The output power of the coherently combined amplifiers is measured as high as 12.9 mW, surpassing that of previous single waveguide amplifiers based on Er$^{3+}$-doped thin film lithium niobate platform.

Thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) has been considered as one of the most important platforms for constructing high-performance photonic integrated devices such as electro-optic modulators, frequency combs, classical/quantum light sources, and large-scale photonic integrated circuits, benefiting from its excellent optical properties of TFLN. The fabrication quality of TFLN photonic integrated devices plays an important role in the performance and the integration scale of these devices. As one of the element photonic structures, the state-of-the-art TFLN microrings reach an intrinsic Q factor higher than 10^7 with ultra-smooth sidewalls, fabricated by photolithography assisted chemo-mechanical etching (PLACE). However, it is isolated on the chip surface and a tapered fiber is required to couple the light into and out of the resonator. Furthermore, it is difficult to maintain such high-Q factors when the microrings are monolithically integrated with bus waveguides by PLACE, resulted from large coupling loss with biggish coupling gap. Here, a relatively narrow gap of an ultra-high Q microring monolithically integrated with the bus-waveguide is achieved with 3.8 um by optimizing PLACE process, and a high temperature annealing is carried out to improve the loaded (intrinsic) Q factor with 4.29 X 10^6 (4.04 X 10^7), leading an ultra-low propagation loss of less than 1 dB/m, which is approximately 3 times better than the best values previously reported in ion-slicing TFLN platform., Comment: 6 pages,3 figures,1 table

We design an on-chip 8-channel TFLN AWG and fabricate the device using photolithography assisted chemo-mechanical etching (PLACE) technique. We experimentally measure the transmission of the fabricated TFLN AWG near the central wavelength of 1550 nm. We obtain an on-chip loss as low as 3.32 dB, a single-channel bandwidth of 1.6 nm and a total-channel bandwidth of 12.8 nm. The crosstalk between adjacent channels was measured to be below -7.01 dB within the wavelength range from 1543 nm to 1558 nm, and the crosstalk between non-adjacent channels was below -15 dB.

Polygon and star modes enable unidirectional emission and single-frequency lasing in whispering gallery microcavities. To understand their properties and facilitate design, we have adopted both two-dimensional and three-dimensional full-wave perturbation methods to simulate these modes. Our simulation demonstrates that a tapered optical fiber can be used as a weak perturbation to coherently combine multiple whispering gallery modes into a polygon or star mode. Additionally, our simulation predicts an optical quality factor as high as $10^7$ for the polygon modes, which is in good agreement with the experiment results.

Materials synthesis in a microfluidic environment enables the flexible and controllable production of various types of nanostructures which are of great potential in the fields of chemistry, environmental science, bioengineering, and medicine. Here, we demonstrate on-chip simultaneous continuous-flow synthesis and in-situ spectrum diagnosis of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanomaterials using a femtosecond-fabricated three-dimensional microchannel reactor integrated with an array of optical fiber probes. The microchannel reactor including 3D concentration gradient generators followed by 3D micromixing units provides high-efficiency manipulation of reactants with different concentrations as well as parallel reaction dynamics in an autonomous manner. The integrated optical fiber probe array allows precise and parallel spectropic detection in different microchannels with high spatial and temporal resolutions for screening the synthetic conditions. The synthesized ZnO nanostructures can be tailored in size, shape, and morphology by tuning the flow rates and reactant concentrations based on the spectroscopic signals detected with the fiber probe array., Comment: 22 pages with supplementary information included

Programmable photonic circuits performing universal linear-optical transformations underpin vital functions in photonic quantum information processing, quantum-enhanced sensor networks, machine learning and many other intriguing applications. Recent advances in photonic integrated circuits facilitate monolithic integration of externally controlled Mach-Zehnder interferometers which can implement arbitrary unitary transformation on a large number of input/output modes. In this work, we demonstrate a 4x4 programmable linear photonic circuit on lithium niobate on insulator platform employing fast, power-efficient and low-loss electro-optical phase shifters, showing enormous advantages in terms of configuration rate and power consumption. Our device is capable of fast switching with 500 ps rise time and 1.7 ns fall time, and possesses a total on-chip power dissipation of only 0.015 mW when operated at 1 MHz modulation, and an insertion loss of 0.15 dB for each modulator and an on-chip extinction ratio of -34 dB for both cross and bar routes.

Photolithography assisted chemo-mechanical etching (PLACE), a technique specifically developed for fabricating highquality large-scale photonic integrated circuits (PICs) on thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN), has enabled fabrication of a series of building blocks of PICs ranging from high-quality (high-Q) microresonators and low-loss waveguides to electrooptically (EO) tunable lasers and waveguide amplifiers. Aiming at high-throughput manufacturing of the PIC devices and systems, we have developed an ultra-high-speed high-resolution laser lithography fabrication system employing a high repetition rate femtosecond laser and a high-speed polygon laser scanner, by which a lithography fabrication efficiency of 4.8 cm2/h has been achieved at a spatial resolution of 200 nm. Background : Proton flash therapy is an emergency research topic in radiation therapy since the Varian announced the promising results from the first in human clinical trial of Flash therapy recently. However, it still needs a lot of researches on this topic, not only to understand the mechanism of the radiobiological effects but also to develop an appropriate dose monitoring system. Purpose : In this study we setup an experimental station for small animal proton Flash irradiation in a clinical machine. The dose monitoring system is able to provide real-time irradiation dose and irradiation time structure. Methods : The dose monitoring system includes homebrewed transmission ionization chamber (TIC), plastic scintillator based beam position monitor, and Poor Man Faraday Cup (FC). Both TIC and FC are equipped with a homebrewed fast reading current integral electronics device. The imaging guidance system comprises a moveable CT, laser, as well as attaching a bead on the body surface of the mouse can accurately guide the testing small animal in position. Results : The dose monitoring system can provide the time structure of delivered dose rate within 1 ms time resolution. Experimental testing results show that the highest dose in one pulse of 230 MeV proton that can be delivered to the target is about 20 Gy during 199 ms pulse period at 100 Gy/s dose rate. Conclusion : A proton research irradiation platform dedicated for studying small animal Flash biological effects has been established at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. The final setup data represent a reference for the beam users to plan the experiments as well as for the improvement of the facility.

We demonstrate an on-chip single-mode Er3+-doped thin film lithium niobate (Er: TFLN) laser which consists of a Fabry-P\'erot (FP) resonator based on Sagnac loop reflectors (SLRs). The fabricated Er: TFLN laser has a footprint of 6.5 mmx1.5 mm with a loaded quality (Q) factor of 1.6x105 and a free spectral range (FSR) of 63 pm. We generate the single-mode laser around 1550-nm wavelength with a maximum output power of 44.7 {\mu}W and a slope efficiency of 0.18 %., Comment: 4 pages, 4 figures
