Grass-roots sports events in the context of the new era are gradually becoming an important influence on the conditions of urban economic development, accompanied by the introduction and practice of relevant strategies and national development goals. Sport is becoming an increasingly important part of people’s daily healthy lives. In-depth studies have found that the organization of sports events can lead to the development of related industries, and there is an important catalyst for urban economic development. However, the organization of grassroots sports events and how to truly leverage the role of sports events as a catalyst for urban development faces a series of huge problems. Therefore, government departments relevant organizations, and even individuals need to make concerted efforts to support the operation and development of urban grassroots sports events through specific and effective methods, to strengthen win-win cooperation, to attach importance to the positive role of sports events in urban development, and ultimately to give full play to the role of grassroots sports events in the context of the new era in the promotion of the city’s economic development.

Doped‐metal oxide‐based memristors, with the potential for improved switching performance and capability for multi‐bit information storage, are attractive candidates in the implementation of artificial neural network (ANN) hardware systems. However, performance and process considerations such as switching behavior and complementary‐metal‐oxide‐semiconductor (CMOS) process compatibility remain a challenge. This study shows that amorphous Zr‐doped HfO2 (HZO) memristors fabricated via a co‐sputtering approach improve the switching performance by providing a controllable knob to modulate defects in the switching layer. At the same time, it satisfies the CMOS process compatibility requirements for industry adoption. HZO memristors with optimized stoichiometry exhibit 30% reduced switching voltages and 50% faster switching as compared to control HfO2 memristors. Concurrently, this study shows that high linearity analog states tuning is achievable via a programming scheme that utilizes voltage pulses with increasing amplitudes. This study further shows via simulation evaluation that HZO memristors implemented in a self‐organizing‐map (SOM) network for Fashion MNIST database classification, achieve an accuracy of 92% with short training cycles. Natural gas is considered a transitional energy source in the transition to clean energy owing to its clean, efficient, and ecologically beneficial properties. The trade of liquefied natural gas (LNG) serves as the backbone of the global natural gas trade and significantly influences the dynamics of the global energy trade system. This paper constructs long-term global LNG trade networks, and explores the spatiotemporal evolution and topological structures of the international LNG trade by utilizing multilevel network analysis methods, to provide insights for comprehensively understanding the market dynamics of the global LNG trade system. The findings indicate the following: (1) The global LNG trade volume shows an overall upward trend, and the global LNG trade network exhibits uneven spatial distribution, clear hierarchical differentiation, and an increasingly complicated structure. Global LNG trade is gradually changing from regionalization to globalization, and the international LNG market is undergoing structural reshaping. (2) The global LNG trade network continues to expand in size and density, and the rapidly growing LNG supply and trade relations are driving the formation of the global natural gas market. (3) Global LNG trade is still in a phase of rapid change, with the global efficiency of the network increasing and then decreasing. The trade network has traditionally been centered on ten countries, including Japan, South Korea, the United States, and Qatar. (4) The global LNG trade network exhibits clear core-periphery structures with considerable polarization effects, and the trade network structure is continuously evolving and is growing unbalanced. Scarce epidemiologic research examined the associations between residential greenness and dyslipidemia or lipid levels in low/middle-income countries. Baseline statistics (2015–2017) of 39,259 rural-dwelling adults were obtained from a Chinese longitudinal study. The blood lipid level was measured utilizing an enzymatic assay method. According to the 2016 Chinese guidelines on dyslipidemia (revision), patients with dyslipidemia were defined. Participants' exposure to residential greenness was characterized by the satellite-based normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). Mixed effects logistic regression and mixed effects linear regression were performed to assess the associations of residential greenness with dyslipidemia and lipid levels. The median (interquartile range, IQR) of 3-year average NDVI1000-m was 0.521 (0.089) units. Each IQR increase in NDVI1000-m was significantly linked with increased odds of hyperbetalipoproteinemia (OR = 1.33, 95%CI 1.21–1.46). The same increment in NDVI1000-m was associated with lower total cholesterol (TC) levels and increased low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels. For instance, the %changes in HDL-C levels was 0.71% (95%CI 0.17%-1.26%). The above relationships were partially mediated by reducing air pollution and lowering body mass index (BMI). Interaction effect analysis observed the greenness-lipid association was stronger in males than females (i.e., NDVI1000-m-TC association). Long-term exposure to residential greenness was associated with odds of dyslipidemia and lipid levels in Chinese rural-dwelling adults, particularly among males. Creating a map style from scratch is challenging. Cartographers may find inspirations from artistic paintings and transfer their style to maps. However, the reference painting and the extracted style elements may not fit well with the content and function of maps, resulting in undesirable or even frustrating map stylization. The question of how to choose appropriate paintings as inspirations and utilize their essential visual elements to stylize maps remains unanswered. As neuroscience has developed, an increasing number of neural mechanisms underlying visual perception have been discovered, deepening our understanding of artistic styles and their adaptation to maps. In this paper, we draw connections between visual neurons and style elements of both artistic paintings and maps by examining seven neural mechanisms (i.e. central-peripheral vision, color-to-contour adhesion, double-opponent effects, visual filling-in, orientation selectivity, latency variation, and what-where separation) that are typical of artistic paintings. We also demonstrate that these mechanisms are transferable to maps. We then create a cartographic style syntactics to generally indicate how and to what degree these mechanisms can be reflected in four cartographic stylistic criteria (i.e. identification, expressiveness, aesthetic appeal and emotional impact). Our work contributes to the integration of principles from neuroscience with cartographic design to deepen our understanding of map perception and to facilitate map style transfer. Sugar substitutes, which generally refer to a class of food additives, mostly have vibration frequencies within the terahertz (THz) band. Therefore, THz technology can be used to analyze their molecular properties. To understand the characteristics of sugar substitutes, this study selected mannitol and erythritol as representatives. Firstly, PXRD and Raman techniques were used to determine the crystal structure and purity of mannitol and erythritol. Then, the THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) system was employed to measure the spectral properties of the two sugar substitutes. Additionally, density functional theory (DFT) was utilized to simulate the crystal configurations of mannitol and erythritol. The experimental results showed good agreement with the simulation results. Finally, microfluidic chip technology was used to measure the THz spectroscopic properties of the two sugar substitutes in solution. A comparison was made between their solid state and aqueous solution state, revealing a strong correlation between the THz spectra of the two sugar substitutes in both states. Additionally, it was found that the THz spectrum of a substance in solution is related to its concentration. This study provides a reference for the analysis of sugar substitutes.

Carbohydrates are pivotal biomolecules in biochemistry; this study employs terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) to investigate the spectral characteristics of trehalose and its hydrate across the 0.1 to 2.2 THz frequency range. Notable differences in spectra between the two compounds were observed. Density Functional Theory (DFT) simulations of the crystal structure were conducted to elucidate this phenomenon. The consistency between experimental results and simulations substantiates the reliability of the experimental findings. Additionally, the spectral characteristics of these carbohydrates in solution were examined using microfluidic chip technology.
