Identity authentication and identification as the main activities in the modern human daily life, in the development of social economy and technological innovation of science and technology, information security and public security and other fields of identity recognition technology put forward higher request, not only to accurately record the relevant data information, and use of advanced technology concept advanced authentication technology is put forward. Knowing the living habits of current social residents, they need to choose appropriate ways to prove their identity, whether they enter the computer system or participate in financial services. For example, passwords, keys, ID cards and other contents are traditional means of identity authentication. As the reliability of traditional identity authentication means is getting lower and lower in today’s social network environment, in order to meet the needs of increasingly innovative network platforms and enhance the security and reliability of identity authentication technology, researchers propose to use biometric identification, among which face recognition is the most common. This recognition method is more direct and effective than palmprint, retina, fingerprint and so on, and occupies an important position in the current biometric research topic. After understanding the application of hidden Markov model (HMM) based on wavelet transform and its improved model in the field of face authentication, this paper analyzes the influence of various observation vector optimization methods on the authentication probability, and proposes a dynamic threshold method combined with the authentication model, in order to obtain a better authentication probability. The final design and implementation of the face information as the core of the identity authentication system. The improved hidden Markov model can effectively represent the correlation between face organs, so it has a positive role in the application of face modeling and authentication technology.

In order to discuss the difference of porous asphalt mixture (PAC) under different modification processes, the high viscosity HVA modified SBS modified asphalt, dry and wet process to mix PAC mixture, and test the technical indexes and performance of Marshall stability, flow value, high temperature stability, low temperature performance and wear resistance. The test results indicate that:Except that the stability of the dry porous asphalt mixture is basically the same as that of the wet modification, the other properties are worse than that of the wet porous asphalt mixture. The dosage of the dry porous asphalt mixture should be increased by about 2% to reach the level of wet modification. For the dry modification process, increasing the mixing time can reduce the gap between it and the wet process performance. It is recommended to increase the stirring time and add 1% of the original HVA dosage to achieve the performance level using wet modification.

Objective: This retrospective aims to develop a comprehensive predictive model based on CT radiomic features and clinical parameters, facilitating early preoperative diagnosis of pyonephrosis. Methods: Clinical and radiological data from 311 patients treated for upper urinary tract stones with obstructive pyelohydronephrosis, between January 2018 and May 2023, were retrospectively collected. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were conducted on clinical data to identify independent risk factors for pyonephrosis. A clinical model was developed using logistic regression. The 3D Slicer software was employed to manually delineate the region of interest (ROI) in the preoperative CT images, corresponding to the area of pyelohydronephrosis, for feature extraction. The optimal radiomic features were selected to construct radiomic models and calculate the radiomic score (Radscore). Subsequently, a combined clinical–radiomic model—the nomogram—was established by integrating the Radscore with independent risk factors. Results: Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses identified cystatin C, Hounsfield Unit (HU) of pyonephrosis, history of ipsilateral urological surgery, and positive urine culture as independent risk factors for pyonephrosis (P < 0.05). Fourteen optimal radiomic features were selected from CT images to construct four radiomic models, with the Naive Bayes model demonstrating the best predictive performance in both training and validation sets. In the training set, the AUCs for the clinical model, radiomic model, and nomogram were 0.902, 0.939, and 0.991, respectively; in the validation set, they were 0.843, 0.874, and 0.959. Both calibration and decision curves showed good agreement between the predicted probabilities of the nomogram and the actual occurrences. Conclusion: The nomogram, constructed from CT radiomic features and clinical variables, provides an effective non-invasive predictive tool for pyonephrosis, surpassing both clinical and radiomic models. In this paper, we propose a lightweight lithography machine learning-based hotspot detection model that integrates the Squeeze-and-Excitation (SE) attention mechanism and the Efficient Channel Attention (ECA) mechanism. These mechanisms can adaptively adjust channel weights, significantly enhancing the model's ability to extract relevant features of hotspots and non-hotspots through cross-channel interaction without dimensionality reduction. Our model extracts feature vectors through seven convolutional layers and four pooling layers, followed by three fully connected layers that map to the output, thereby simplifying the CNN network structure. Experimental results on our collected layout dataset and the ICCAD 2012 layout dataset demonstrate that our model is more lightweight. By evaluating overall accuracy, recall, and runtime, the comprehensive performance of our model is shown to exceed that of ConvNeXt, Swin transformer, and ResNet 50. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

How brain functions in the distorted ischemic state before and after reperfusion is unclear. It is also uncertain whether there are any indicators within ischemic brain that could predict surgical outcomes. To alleviate these issues, we applied individual brain connectome in chronic steno‐occlusive vasculopathy (CSOV) to map both ischemic symptoms and their postbypass changes. A total of 499 bypasses in 455 CSOV patients were collected and followed up for 47.8 ± 20.5 months. Using multimodal parcellation with connectivity‐based and pathological distortion‐independent approach, areal MR features of brain connectome were generated with three measurements of functional connectivity (FC), structural connectivity, and PageRank centrality at the single‐subject level. Thirty‐three machine‐learning models were then trained with clinical and areal MR features to obtain acceptable classifiers for both ischemic symptoms and their postbypass changes, among which, 11 were deemed acceptable (AUC > 0.7). Notably, the FC feature‐based model for long‐term neurological outcomes performed very well (AUC > 0.8). Finally, a Shapley additive explanations plot was adopted to extract important individual features in acceptable models to generate "fingerprints" of brain connectome. This study not only establishes brain connectomic fingerprint databases for brain ischemia with distortion, but also provides informative insights for how brain functions before and after reperfusion. MnO2–Mn3O4 heterostructure materials are applied in aqueous magnesium ion energy storage for the first time. The heterostructure yields an exceptionally high pseudocapacitance contribution, resulting in a specific capacitance of 313.5 F g−1 at 1 A g−1, which contrasts with that of MnO2 (108.8 F g−1) and Mn3O4 (123.5 F g−1). Manganese oxides are commonly employed as a cathode for magnesium ion storage in aqueous magnesium ion hybrid supercapacitors (MHS). However, sluggish reaction kinetics still hinders their practical application. Herein, we designed K-birnessite-MnO2 and electrostatically spun mulberry-like carbon composites (K-MnO2/HMCs) via an in situ growth technique. Benefiting from the 3D conductive carbon network substrate, the in situ fabricated K-MnO2 exhibits more active sites and provides more interfacial contact area between the electrode material and the electrolyte. This improvement enhances its conductivity, facilitating the rapid transfer of electrons, diffusion of ions, and redox reactions. As a result, K-MnO2/HMC-based MHS achieves a specific capacity of 168 mA h g−1 at 0.5 A g−1, simultaneously exhibiting a superior energy density of 111.1 W h kg−1 at a power density of 505 W kg−1. Furthermore, it demonstrates excellent high rate performance and a long cycling life for aqueous magnesium ion storage, offering new insights for MHS applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To investigate the effects of croton alkaloids on malignant behaviors of breast cancer cells T47D and the possible mechanism. Different doses of croton alkaloids were exposed to T47D cells. T47D cells were transfected with small interfering-circular_0079593 and small interfering-negative control by liposome transfection, respectively. The plasmid cloning deoxyribonucleic acid-circular_0079593 transfected T47D cells were performed with 150 μg/ ml croton alkaloids treatment. Circular_0079593 and microRNA-1299 were determined via qualitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction in breast cancer samples and cells. 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay and colony formation assay for proliferation, scratch assay for migration and transwell assay for invasion were performed. Circular_0079593 and microRNA-1299 target relationship was examined using dual-luciferase reporter assay. Protein analysis was implemented through Western blot. Croton alkaloids increased cell proliferation inhibition rate and E-cadherin protein level (p<0.05) while reduced colony formation number and invasive cells (p<0.05), and croton alkaloids suppressed scratch healing rate and N-cadherin protein level (p<0.05), and these effects were dose-dependent. Circular_0079593 up-regulation and microRNA-1299 down-regulation were detected in breast cancer tissues contrasted to adjacent samples (p<0.05). Croton alkaloids induced circular_0079593 expression up-regulation (p<0.05) and microRNA-1299 level inhibition (p<0.05) in a dose-dependent manner. Circular_0079593 could targeted regulate the expression of microRNA-1299. Transfection of small interfering-circular_0079593 elevated microRNA-1299 level, and suppressed cell malignant behaviors. Circular_0079593 overexpression could weaken the regulation of croton alkaloids in T47D cell behaviors. Croton alkaloids could repress breast cancer cell proliferation, colony formation, migration and invasion via mediating circ_0079593/microRNA-1299 axis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Exploring anode materials with an excellent electrochemical performance is of great significance for supercapacitor applications. In this work, a N-doped-carbon-nanofiber (NCNF)-supported Fe3C/Fe2O3 nanoparticle (NCFCO) composite was synthesized via the facile carbonizing and subsequent annealing of electrospinning nanofibers containing an Fe source. In the hybrid structure, the porous carbon nanofibers used as a substrate could provide fast electron and ion transport for the Faradic reactions of Fe3C/Fe2O3 during charge–discharge cycling. The as-obtained NCFCO yields a high specific capacitance of 590.1 F g−1 at 2 A g−1, superior to that of NCNF-supported Fe3C nanoparticles (NCFC, 261.7 F g−1), and NCNFs/Fe2O3 (NCFO, 398.3 F g−1). The asymmetric supercapacitor, which was assembled using the NCFCO anode and activated carbon cathode, delivered a large energy density of 14.2 Wh kg−1 at 800 W kg−1. Additionally, it demonstrated an impressive capacitance retention of 96.7%, even after 10,000 cycles.
