Social media (SoMe) has witnessed remarkable growth and emerged as a dominant method of communication worldwide. Platforms such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube have become important tools of the digital native generation. In the field of medicine, particularly, cardiology, attitudes towards SoMe have shifted, and professionals increasingly utilize it to share scientific findings, network with experts, and enhance teaching and learning. Notably, SoMe is being leveraged for teaching purposes, including the sharing of challenging and intriguing cases. However, sharing patient data, including photos or images, online carries significant implications and risks, potentially compromising individual privacy both online and offline. Privacy and data protection are fundamental rights within European Union treaties, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the cornerstone of data protection legislation. The GDPR outlines crucial requirements, such as obtaining 'consent' and implementing 'anonymization', that must be met before sharing sensitive and patient-identifiable information. Additionally, it is vital to consider the patient's perspective and prioritize ethical and social considerations when addressing challenges associated with sharing patient information on SoMe platforms. Given the absence of a peer-review process and clear guidelines, we present an initial approach, a code of conduct, and recommendations for the ethical use of SoMe. In conclusion, this comprehensive review underscores the importance of a balanced approach that ensures patient privacy and upholds ethical standards while harnessing the immense potential of SoMe to advance cardiology practice and facilitate knowledge dissemination.

The Soi crater region (0° to 60°N, 180°W to −110°W), which includes the well-preserved Soi crater in its center, spans a region from Titan's aeolian-dominated equatorial regions to fluvially-dominated high northern latitudes. This provides a rich diversity of landscapes, one that is also representative of the diversity encountered across Titan. Schoenfeld et al. (2023) mapped this region at 1:800,000 scale and produced a geomorphological map showing that the area consists of 22 types of geomorphological units. The Visual and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer (VIMS) coverage of the region enabled the detailed analysis of spectra of 261 different locations using a radiative transfer technique and a mixing model, yielding compositional constraints on Titan's optical surface layer. Additional constraints on composition on the near-surface substrate were obtained from microwave emissivity. We have derived combinations of top surface materials between dark materials, tholins, water-ice, and methane suggesting that dark mobile organic material at equatorial and high latitudes indicates “young” terrains and compositions, while tholin/water-ice mixtures that dominate areas around latitude 35°N show a material that is older plains deposits that we interpret to be the end stage of aeolian and fluvial transport and deposition. We found no spectral evidence of CO2, HC3N, and NH3 ice. We use the stratigraphic relations between the various mapping units and the relation between the geomorphology and the composition of the surface layers to build hypotheses on the origin and evolution of the regional geology. When someone violates a social norm, others may think that some sanction would be appropriate. We examine how the experience of emotions like anger and disgust relate to the judged appropriateness of sanctions, in a pre-registered analysis of data from a large-scale study in 56 societies. Across the world, we find that individuals who experience anger and disgust over a norm violation are more likely to endorse confrontation, ostracism and, to a smaller extent, gossip. Moreover, we find that the experience of anger is consistently the strongest predictor of judgments of confrontation, compared to other emotions. Although the link between state-based emotions and judgments may seem universal, its strength varies across countries. Aligned with theoretical predictions, this link is stronger in societies, and among individuals, that place higher value on individual autonomy. The off-shore Cenozoic succession of the Pará-Maranhão Basin of the Brazilian equatorial margin is studied to investigate skeletal and foraminiferal assemblages during the Oligocene-Miocene interval, one of the fundamental moments in the environmental evolution of our planet. The material from core 1-MAS-16-MA is analyzed using a combination of conventional paleontological analyses, and innovative approaches like micro-CT scan and U/Pb dating on carbonates. The results allowed to clearly constrain the Oligocene – Miocene interval and divide it into four foraminiferal assemblages and seven biofacies useful for both paleoenvironmental reconstructions and stratigraphic correlations. The paleoenvironmental analysis indicates a common pattern of relative sea-level oscillations with the nearby Foz do Amazonas Basin, highlighting a common behavior of this part of the equatorial passive margin during the Oligocene – Miocene interval. The comparison between the succession of skeletal and foraminiferal assemblages of the investigated core and other successions of the Southern and Central American area indicated the presence of stratigraphically relevant foraminiferal assemblages that could be useful for improving the correlation between the various Cenozoic successions of the area (assemblages dominated by nummulitids and lepidocyclinids in the Rupelian; assemblages dominated by Heterostegina (Vlerkina) antillea, lepidocyclinids, and primitive miogypsinids in the Chattian; assemblages dominated by Heterostegina (Vlerkina) antillea, lepidocyclinids, and miogypsinids other than Miogypsinoides and Miogypsinella, in the Aquitanian; assemblages dominated by advanced miogypsinids in the Burdigalian; post Early Miocene assemblages characterized by the lack of abundant lepidocyclinids and miogypsinids).
