There is little research about using information technologies in music education. The issue of comparing the approach to music education based on modern technologies with the traditional approach is of particular interest. Thus, the purpose of the study is to compare the effectiveness of music education based on modern technologies with the traditional approach to learning music. The study was conducted at Lishui Music School. The level of musical skills and abilities of music school students was assessed for the period of 1.5 years. The study involved children aged 5-6 years who had no prior musical experience. The control and study groups consisted of twenty-four children each. The children learned to play the piano and solfeggio. The study group trained in accordance with the New way of Music program. The control group followed the traditional curriculum. At the end of the study, there was an exam. The students performed program pieces corresponding to the study period. The expert committee evaluated the following performance parameters: the number of errors in the reproduction of the musical text, the performance rhythm, the artistic expressiveness of the performance, continuous and complete performance, the performance dynamics, mastery of strokes, as well as positioning of the body and hands during the performance. Except for the last parameter, the study group performed better than the control group. The results obtained justify further expanded studies of the New way of Music program to be subsequently widely introduced in music schools.

The horizontal rotating disc contactor (HRDC) for extraction consists of a mixing chamber and two settling chambers, which enables continuous cycling of the dispersion-mass transfer-separation processes and achieves higher mass transfer efficiency compared to a single equilibrium stage. For O/W emulsion systems, it allowed for continuous separation of the oil phase. In order to further improve the separation performance of the extractor, the structure was optimized by simulating the coalescence and breakup process of O/W emulsions using computer software. A two-dimensional model was established to study the effects of flow rate, droplet size, and wall wettability on coalescence efficiency in kerosene/water systems. The results showed that coalescence efficiency in narrow channels initially increased with flow rate before decreasing, indicating an optimal flow rate exists. When droplet size was smaller than channel dimensions, larger droplets were more prone to coalesce. Additionally, hydrophobic walls exhibited better coalescing effects. These findings provided theoretical support for optimizing HRDC equipment and achieving continuous extraction in different O/W emulsion systems.

The extraction efficiency of benzoic acid/n-heptane/water system was measured by an HRDC extractor, and the two-phase concentration could be measured by spectrophotometer. The experimental results showed that the extraction efficiency of benzoic acid/n-heptane/water was 46%.

Background and Aims: The role of platelet autophagy in cirrhotic thrombocytopenia (CTP) remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the impact of platelet autophagy in CTP and elucidate the regulatory mechanism of hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S) on platelet autophagy., Methods: Platelets from 56 cirrhotic patients and 56 healthy individuals were isolated for in vitro analyses. Autophagy markers (ATG7, BECN1, LC3, and SQSTM1) were quantified using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, while autophagosomes were visualized through electron microscopy. Western blotting was used to assess the autophagy-related proteins and the PDGFR/PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway following treatment with NaHS (an H 2 S donor), hydroxocobalamin (an H 2 S scavenger), or AG 1295 (a selective PDGFR-α inhibitor). A carbon tetrachloride-induced cirrhotic BALB/c mouse model was established. Cirrhotic mice with thrombocytopenia were randomly treated with normal saline, NaHS, or hydroxocobalamin for 15 days. Changes in platelet count and aggregation rate were observed every three days., Results: Cirrhotic patients with thrombocytopenia exhibited significantly decreased platelet autophagy markers and endogenous H 2 S levels, alongside increased platelet aggregation, compared to healthy controls. In vitro, NaHS treatment of platelets from severe CTP patients elevated LC3-II levels, reduced SQSTM1 levels, and decreased platelet aggregation in a dose-dependent manner. H 2 S treatment inhibited PDGFR, PI3K, Akt, and mTOR phosphorylation. In vivo , NaHS significantly increased LC3-II and decreased SQSTM1 expressions in platelets of cirrhotic mice, reducing platelet aggregation without affecting the platelet count., Conclusions: Diminished platelet autophagy potentially contributes to thrombocytopenia in cirrhotic patients.
