ABSTRACT Objective To estimate vaccination coverage and analyze sociodemographic factors associated with non-vaccination in children born in 2017 and 2018 in the state capitals of Northeast Brazil. Methods A household survey using cluster sampling was conducted from 2020-2022 to estimate vaccination coverage and hesitancy. Factors associated with non-vaccination were analyzed using logistic regression to calculate Odds Ratios (OR) and their Confidence Intervals (95%CI). Results Natal was the capital with the lowest vaccination coverage, below 75.0% for most immunizers. Teresina had rates equal to or greater than 90.0% for all vaccines. Among those interviewed, 99.1% (95%CI 98.9;99.3) believe that vaccines are important for health; 95.4% (95%CI 95.0;95.8) trust immunobiologicals and 79.6% (95%CI% 78.8;80.3) are not afraid of reactions. Belonging to the highest socioeconomic stratum (adjusted OR: 1.34 – 95%CI 1.20;1.50) was as a factor associated with non-vaccination. Conclusion Low coverage highlights the need for a better understanding of regional specificities and social inequalities.

RESUMO O Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA) é um transtorno do neurodesenvolvimento que compromete a comunicação e as habilidades sociais. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar os recursos educacionais utilizados por profissionais de nível técnico e superior que lidam com alunos com TEA. Essa revisão foi registrada no PROSPERO CRD42020212986 e seguiu as recomendações da lista de verificação Standards for Reporting Qualitative Research (SRQR). As bases científicas utilizadas na busca foram Medline via PubMed, Embase, Web of Science e Lilacs. Dez artigos foram selecionados para a revisão. Os recursos educacionais que se destacaram ao longo do percurso foram: a formação em competências sociais e organizacionais; apoio e acompanhamento educacional/profissional; artefatos tecnológicos para interação audiovisual; e ferramentas de avaliação com capacidade educacional. Entende-se que a melhoria dos recursos educacionais, enfatizando a comunicação clara e objetiva, bem como a sociabilidade das aulas se torna fundamental para promover um ambiente educacional mais eficaz e estimulante para o aprendizado dos estudantes autistas.

RESUMO O estudo apresenta como objetivo compreender as repercussões da doença na vida cotidiana de crianças e adolescentes acometidos pela hanseníase. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa com base no referencial teórico ‘A Sociologia de Erving Goffman’. Foram entrevistados, individualmente, 14 participantes, sendo 9 crianças e 5 adolescentes tratados e curados da hanseníase. Utilizou-se entrevista semiestruturada, abrangendo informações sociodemográficas e questões norteadoras sobre a vivência dos participantes com a doença, aspectos familiares, sociais e percepções advindas da experiência. Os dados foram analisados pela sociologia de Erving Goffman. As narrativas enfatizam as repercussões do cotidiano relacionados com a história da descoberta da hanseníase, as redes de interação como família e profissionais de saúde, dos cuidados com a própria saúde, de estratégias de superação e expectativas. Verificou-se que o elemento predominante da pesquisa se ancora no temor de ser descoberto e desacreditado, na perspectiva de ter sua identidade de sadio ressignificada, pelo adoecimento e perante a vivência dos participantes com o preconceito, sigilo e segredo. Conclui-se, de modo simbólico, que os participantes vivenciaram uma construção de vida social negativa em torno da hanseníase. O adoecimento interfere de modo direto no cotidiano e desenvolvimento dos participantes, repercutindo principalmente nas relações sociais.

This article aimed to understand the repercussions of leprosy on body image in individuals under 15 years old affected by leprosy. Fourteen children and adolescents under 15 years old who were registered in the Leprosy Control Program of Petrolina-PE and Juazeiro-BA and who had been discharged as cured participated in the study. A semi-structured interview technique was used, covering guiding questions about the experiences of the child and adolescent with the disease, addressing family, social aspects, and perceptions arising from the experience. The data obtained were analyzed using symbolic interactionism and Erving Goffman's sociology, also taking into consideration more contemporary readings on performativity. Based on the narratives produced, the aspects of body image of children and adolescents with leprosy were highlighted and organized into thematic axes: body image, effects of leprosy, racialization of the disease, and its consequences. It is evident that the predominant element of the research is anchored in the diseased and marked body images present in all interviews. Thus, for participants afflicted by leprosy, the body is perceived as "ugly," "sick," and "rejected," and such body image is associated with a negative impact on their self-image.

It is important to prioritize intersectoral action at schools to prevent the use of alcohol and other drugs. This strategic act should be organized with multidisciplinary learning characteristics and with the involvement of different stakeholders. The aim of a recent scoping review was to identify the factors that benefit and hinder intersectoral actions at school resulting from the elaboration of policies to prevent drug use. It seems like the research study was a scoping review that used the P-population, C-context, and C-concept structure. The study searched for information in various databases like Embase, Proquest, Lilacs, Medline via Pubmed, PsycInfo, WHO-Iris, and PAHO-Iris on April 17, 2023. According to the results, there were 5 studies that were eligible to answer the research question. One of the advantages of intersectoral actions is the role of schools in creating a support network with different social actors, particularly with family involvement. On the other hand, one of the challenges is inconsistencies in legal regulations, which do not provide enough guidance to schools on how to prevent alcohol and drug use. While public and private schools may be affected differently by social and economic factors, it is essential to invest in developing policies that focus on drug prevention for children and adolescents who are learning in schools.

Este estudo de abordagem qualitativa, elaborado com recursos metodológicos das pesquisas bibliográfica e documental, contempla os resultados de um projeto de extensão universitária empreendido no âmbito da Rede de Atenção Psicossocial (RAPS) no Distrito Federal, Brasil, no período de agosto de 2018 a dezembro de 2019. Nesse projeto, adotou-se o suporte conceitual da pesquisa-ação, a perspectiva metodológica compartilhada de atuação, composta por interação social e colaboração entre os distintos sujeitos envolvidos na ação extensionista, com ênfase no protagonismo e participação social de usuários da RAPS, seus familiares e profissionais de saúde. Na interpretação dos resultados da ação extensionista, foram realçados os significados políticos identificados na relação entre a atuação dos sujeitos envolvidos e suas vivências da vida cotidiana. Dessa maneira, a prática da extensão universitária pôde propiciar aos acadêmicos e profissionais de saúde, mobilizados pelo contato real com expressões da questão social e pela reflexão teórica, a democratização do saber e a formação com senso crítico e ético, com o objetivo de contribuir de modo mais qualificado para o fazer dos serviços de atenção em saúde mental. Aos usuários e familiares, a aproximação da prática da extensão se mostrou um importante incentivo para fortalecer o protagonismo nos espaços de atenção, cuidado e participação social na política pública de saúde mental.

ABSTRACT Objective To estimate hepatitis A vaccination coverage in 24-month-old children and identify factors associated with non-vaccination. Methods This was a survey involving a sample stratified by socioeconomic strata in capital cities (2020-2022), with coverage estimates and 95% confidence intervals (95%CI), the factor analysis was performed using the prevalence ratio (PR) by means of Poisson regression. Results Among 31,001 children, hepatitis A coverage was 88.1% (95%CI 86.8;89.2). Regarding socioeconomic strata (A/B), the variable immigrant parents/guardians was associated with non-vaccination (PR = 1.91; 95%CI 1.09;3.37); in strata C/D, children of Asian race/skin color (PR = 4.69; 95%CI 2.30;9.57), fourth-born child or later (PR = 1.68; 95%CI 1.06;2 .66), not attending daycare/nursery (PR = 1.67; 95%CI 1.24;2.24) and mother with paid work (PR = 1.42; 95%CI 1.16;1.74) were associated with non-vaccination. Conclusion Hepatitis A coverage was below the target (95%), suggesting that specificities of social strata should be taken into consideration.

Abstract Objective: Researchers have investigated the relationship between the meaning of work and variables related to work well-being. This study investigated the relationships between transformational leadership and job performance, and the mediation of the meaning of work in these relationships. Method: A total of 397 professionals of a Brazilian public university participated, answerin gforced-choice questionnaire. The relationship model between variables was tested using structural equations. In addition, the parameters of indirect effects of mediation were tested using bootstrap (100 resamples). Results: The results indicated that job performance levels were explained by transformational leadership. The meaning of work explained 86% of the relationship between the variables. Conclusion: The study contributes by presenting data of acquiescence control and in explaining the impact of variables on professionals’ job performance.
