PurposeWe undertook a study to evaluate the current state of pedagogy on antiracism, including barriers to implementation and strengths of existing curricula, in undergraduate medical education (UME) and graduate medical education (GME) programs in US academic health centers.MethodsWe conducted a cross-sectional study with an exploratory qualitative approach using semistructured interviews. Participants were leaders of UME and GME programs at 5 institutions participating in the Academic Units for Primary Care Training and Enhancement program and 6 affiliated sites from November 2021 to April 2022.ResultsA total of 29 program leaders from the 11 academic health centers participated in this study. Three participants from 2 institutions reported the implementation of robust, intentional, and longitudinal antiracism curricula. Nine participants from 7 institutions described race and antiracism-related topics integrated into health equity curricula. Only 9 participants reported having "adequately trained" faculty. Participants mentioned individual, systemic, and structural barriers to implementing antiracism-related training in medical education such as institutional inertia and insufficient resources. Fear related to introducing an antiracism curriculum and undervaluing of this curriculum relative to other content were identified. Through learners and faculty feedback, antiracism content was evaluated and included in UME and GME curricula. Most participants identified learners as a stronger voice for transformation than faculty; antiracism content was mainly included in health equity curricula.ConclusionsInclusion of antiracism in medical education requires intentional training, focused institutional policies, enhanced foundational awareness of the impact of racism on patients and communities, and changes at the level of institutions and accreditation bodies.

In this paper, we examine the early predictability of the market's directional movement using intraday high‐frequency data (695,764 observations) from an stock index (Ibex 35 Index) to provide, either private or institutional investors, an early warning system based on an "early indicator" of the financial market fluctuations with an optimal combination of the two more relevant variables for this strategy, accuracy, and earliness. A novel supervised machine learning early classification technique (Artificial Intelligence) has been applied, for the first time, to the high‐frequency time series of both price and certain technical indicators. The results obtained allow us to assert that the intraday movement of the Ibex 35 can be predicted with acceptable levels of accuracy 24 min after the start of the session and to establish certain informative intraday hourly patterns. Consequently, different indicators of precision and earliness in the session are generated, obtaining that, after a certain point in the session, no gains in precision are generated. A comprehensive paleomagnetic study of the La Mora Formation fluvial sediments, presumably deposited during the Late Triassic-Early Jurassic, over the Mixteca terrane, allows us to document the most likely Early Mesozoic paleoposition of the Acatlán-Oaxaquia block among the mosaic of peri-Gondwanan blocks just before and during Pangea break-up. The oxide microscopy and the rock magnetic studies confirm that the magnetic carrier is titanomagnetite, hematite partially to almost totally replacing titanomagnetite (maghemite), and pigmentary hematite, in varying proportions related to dominant facies along the sedimentary sequence. Paleomagnetic results indicate that chemical remanent magnetization was acquired at during a time-lapse from the last steps of deposition to the burial and weakly deformation stage during the Late Jurassic (ca. 160 Ma). The mean paleolatitudes in flattening, unflattening, and geographic coordinate inclinations are: 7.6°N ± 1.6°, 9.8°N ± 1.7° and 11.1°N ± 1.6°, in comparison to the current latitude that is 18°N. However, a southern paleoposition of the La Mora Formation for the Late Triassic, is indicated from detrital zircon provenance ages from Amazonian craton sources, suggesting that the Acatlán-Oaxaquia block was juxtaposed to the northwestern Gondwana corner (i.e. NW South America), close to 7°S ± 2°. Therefore, we reported ca. 1800 ± 220 km of northward transport of the Acatlán-Oaxaquia block during the Late Triassic to Late Jurassic Pangea break-up. Last, the magnetic anisotropy susceptibility (AMS) indicates a primary origin magnetic fabrics with a slight syn-sedimentary tectonic overprint that agree with the Amazonian westward paleo-fluvial system.
