Abstract

Borders and mobilities have played key roles in the transformations of capitalism that have accompanied the COVID-19 pandemic. We attempt to distinguish novel developments in the control of movements of bodies, labour, and capital from processes of renationalisation, financialisation, and platformisation that were in train before the outbreak. Focusing on logistical techniques and technologies that govern the global circulation of people and things, this article explores the spatial shifts and ruptures that have marked the capitalist crisis occasioned by the pandemic. We give empirical attention to movements and struggles of migration in China, India, the Americas, and the Mediterranean. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

The objective of this systematic scoping review is to investigate the extent to which sleep measures are reported in intervention trials for chronic low back pain (CLBP). MEDLINE and PsycINFO will be queried for studies published between 1 January 2010 and 28 February 2021 using keywords related to CLBP. Two reviewers will screen abstracts, review full-texts for eligibility criteria, and extract data. Randomized intervention trials that aim to treat pain or disability related to CLBP in adult subjects will be included. There will be no restrictions on setting, intervention, or provider type. We hypothesize that intervention trials for CLBP do not consistently capture measures of sleep as recommended by several published guidelines for the conduct of chronic pain research.

Abstract

Negli ultimi anni il settore logistico è stato attraversato da un lato da una significativa serie di scioperi, mobilitazioni e vertenze che hanno portato in luce i soggetti e i luoghi attraverso i quali quotidianamente vengono fatte circolare le merci; dall’altro, è emerso un importante corpus di studi che attraverso numerose discipline ha adottato la logistica come lente analitica cruciale per comprendere i processi di globalizzazione e le trasformazioni dei territori, i rapporti geopolitici e geoeconomici, le trasformazioni dei modi di produzione e le nuove frontiere del lavoro e del consumo. Il presente volume adotta la prospettiva logistica evidenziando il suo carattere prismatico, cercando di spingere l’analisi verso direzioni ancora parzialmente inesplorate.
