The aim of this study is to evaluate some of the properties of the implemented freedom measures in terms of re-criminal treatment. The study was carried out by examining the sociodemographic characteristics of 1153 files released on probation in 2018 in Malatya Probation Directorate, with the TUIK statistics of those released from prison in 2018, by adopting a retrospective perspective. Looking at the finding of the study, it was seen that the 25-34 age range of the obliged parties was intense and that women's involvement rates were very low compared to men. In terms of criminal classification, crimes against individuals took the first place, while crimes against assets took the second place. Again, women mostly committed crimes against their property (theft). while men committed crimes against individuals (wounding). In addition, while the most committed type of crime was injury, it was followed by theft. It has been understood that the education level of obliged parties is low, the proportion of those who are married is high, and almost half of those who have children have 3 or more children. Again, when looking at parental status, it was observed that about a third had single parents or both died. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
