Abstract

The enhancement of urban air quality is a pressing global issue, crucial for safeguarding public health. Carbon monoxide (CO), a significant air pollutant, poses severe risks to human health. This study focuses on the development of a mobile-based Internet of Things (IoT) system for the detection and monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) pollution, contributing to the advancement of healthy urban environments. Utilizing the MQ-7 sensor, the system accurately detects and quantifies CO levels, while the u-blox NEO-6M GPS receiver precisely locates measurement sites through satellite signal processing. Integration with the OV5647 camera enables the system to capture images at points of CO detection, enhancing data visualization. Processed data are relayed to a virtual private server (VPS) via a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, employing the Nginx web server for efficient data management. The MQ-7 sensor demonstrates a CO detection range of 20- 100 ppm, with a minimal error rate of 4.87%. GPS accuracy tests reveal an average discrepancy of only 0.89 meters when compared to the Garmin eTrex 10, indicating high reliability. Field tests conducted across three Indonesian locales (Jakarta, Bekasi, and Depok) involved data collection via a quadcopter, culminating in the successful dissemination of CO concentration data on a publicly accessible web page, presented as an interactive map correlating to measurement locations. Abstract

Talent management (TM) necessitates both quantitative and qualitative skills; it is a determining factor in organisational success, including in university institutions. A team member's position in an organisation was closely related to TM. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology, such as an expert system, has also influenced human resource management. As well as to help human experts in TM, especially for academic staff TM, this study proposed a mobile app expert system called "ASTMES". This research method was used the certainty factor method with a forward-chaining inference machine, then programmed onto Android-based app with waterfall-SDLC technique. The result shown as ASTMES can categorise talent criteria: insufficient talent (99.7450 %), good talent (99.9942 %), and potential talent (99.9908 %), with a percentage of confidence level, respectively. 19. PENGARUH KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK DAN ALAT BANTU PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS IT TERHADAP KUALITAS HASIL PEMBELAJARAN GURU SD NEGERI 020598 BINJAI SELATAN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogic competence and IT-based learning aids on the quality of learning outcomes for teachers at SD Negeri 020598 Binjai Selatan. This type of research is a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire or questionnaire consisting of 16 questions for the x1 variable and 16 questions for the x2 variable. This type of research is included in the category of field research (Field Research). This is because data collection is carried out in the field, namely the educational institution of SD Negeri 020598 Binjai Selatan Binjai City. The type of field research used is quantitative research. The research conducted is a study with a population of 70 students, of which only 30 students were used as research samples. The data collection technique used in this research is to use a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used is linearity test, normality test, multicollinearity test, t test and F test. The results show that: a) pedagogic competence affects the quality of learning outcomes in accordance with the results of the t-test var x1 to y with a value of tcount = 1.190 > t table = 0.381 thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted; b) IT-based learning aids have no effect on the quality of learning outcomes according to the results of the t-test var x2 to y tcount = -0.398 > ttable = 0.381, thus H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected; c) there is no significant effect between teacher pedagogic competence and IT-based aids on the quality of learning outcomes at SD Negeri 020598 Binjai Selatan. This is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the score of the teacher pedagogical competency questionnaire with the student's UTS score obtained Fcount = 1.179 > Ftable = 3.354, thus H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogic competence and IT-based learning aids on the quality of learning outcomes for teachers at SD Negeri 020598 Binjai Selatan.Keywords: Pedagogic Competence; IT-Based Tools, Learning Outcomes Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan alat bantu pembelajaran berbasis IT terhadap kualitas hasil pembelajaran guru SD Negeri 020598 Binjai Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Intrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket atau kuesioner terdiri dari 16 pertanyaan untuk variabel x1 dan 16 pertanyaan untuk variabel x2 yang jika dijumlahkan terdapat 32 pertanyaan yang telah divalidasi dan disebar di sekolah yang dijadikan sebagai tempat penelitian. Jenis penelitian ini adalah termasuk dalam kategori penelitian lapangan (Field Research). Hal ini karena pengumpulan data dilakukan di lapangan yaitu lembaga pendidikan SD Negeri 020598 Binjai Selatan Kota Binjai. Adapun jenis penelitian lapangan yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian dengan populasi 70 siswa yang dimana hanya sebanyak 30 siswa yang dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji linearitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : a) kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hasil pembelajaran sesuai dengan hasil uji t var x1 terhadap y dengan nilai thitung= 1,190 > ttabel=0,381 dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima; b) alat bantu pembelajaran berbasis IT tidak berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hasil pembelajaran sesuai dengan hasil uji t var x2 terhadap y thitung= -0,398 > ttabel =0,381 dengan demikian H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak; c) tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dan alat bantu berbasis IT terhadap kualitas hasil pembelajaran di SD Negeri 020598 Binjai Selatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan skor angket kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan nilai UTS siswa diperoleh Fhitung= 1,179 > Ftabel =3,354 dengan demikian H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan alat bantu pembelajaran berbasis IT terhadap kualitas hasil pembelajaran guru SD Negeri 020598 Binjai Selatan. Abstract

Teknologi virtual reality sejatinya telah banyak diterapkan di beberapa sektor industri seperti kedokteran, penerbangan, pendidikan, arsitek, militer, hiburan dan lain sebagainya. Virtual reality sangat membantu dalam menyimulasikan sesuatu yang sangat sulit untuk dihadirkan secara langsung dalam dunia nyata seperti dalam penerbangan. Studi ini meringkas penelitian-penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan penggunaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi virtual reality dalam bidang penerbangan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan metode mini-review article, penelitian diawali dari studi literatur, identifikasi judul, screening abstrak, seleksi artikel full-text, dan ulasan mini-review. Hasil studi mini-review ini berupa pemanfaatan teknologi virtual reality dapat digunakan untuk keperluan pelatihan, simulasi, kesehatan, penilaian, dan evaluasi yang berhubungan dengan bidang penerbangan.

Abstract

Current forest conditions, changes and possible trends can be identified by monitoring forest health. The web-GIS for forest health monitoring which is still in the development stage can be used to find out data and information regarding the distribution of locations and the results of forest health monitoring. Therefore, it is necessary to test the functionality. This study aimed to obtain an overview of whether the forest health monitoring web-GIS has specifications according to monitoring forest health needs. Black-box testing with the type of testing used is the equivalence partition technique used in this study. Overall total, there are three class-tested with three tests, and 15 test scenarios were tested in this study. The test results show that all the scenarios tested on the web-GIS forest health monitoring follow the expectations, meaning that the test results are all valid.
