Abstract

As a class of clean oxidants, the hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) has shown great application potential in a variety of fields due to its high energy density and convenient storage condition, while the synthesis of H2O2 by the utilization of green energy technology has currently become one of the attentions in energy field. In this paper, the CdxZn1‐xS (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1) solid solutions with different zinc‐cadmium molar ratios are prepared by a simple solvothermal route, and the H2O2 evolution performances of materials under illumination and ultrasound conditions are explored. The results show that Cd0.4Zn0.6S has the highest H2O2 yield rate of 2866 µmol/g/h under the synergistic effect of ultrasound and illumination without any sacrificial agent, which is higher than those in ultrasonic or light condition alone, showing piezo‐photocatalytic coupling characteristic. The characterizations including piezoresponse force microscopy (PFM), finite element simulation, in situ electron spin resonance (ESR) reveal that the excellent H2O2 production property of the material should be mainly ascribed to its nanorod structure and e−‐h+ dual‐channel reactivity formed by the bending of its energy band under the piezoelectric effect. Abstract

The Cu2O/Cu modified shungite (ShC) absorbent (Cu2O/Cu-ShC) was synthesized by hydrothermal method, benefiting from the mineral backbone and Cu2O/Cu particles, Cu2O/Cu-ShC can remove ~ 96% of I− within 60 min, the batch experiments showed that the I− adsorption process follows pseudo-second-order model and Langmuir model with maximum adsorption capacity of 10.99 mg/g. The high binding affinity between Cu+ and I− contributes effective removal of I− and excellent selectivity at high concentrations of competing ions. This work highlights the feasibility of Cu2O/Cu-ShC for the radioactive iodine separation, and provides a promising sorbent material for large-scale purification of radioactive iodine anions in wastewater. Abstract

In the digital economy era, cloud–edge collaboration technology provides the necessary technical support for the digital transformation of enterprises, which can improve the quality of services (QoS), and it attracts extensive attention from scholars and entrepreneurs from all fields. Under the bounded-rationality hypothesis, this paper investigates the service mechanism for the cloud–edge collaboration system considering the quality of experience (QoE) and presents a dynamic evolutionary game model between cloud service providers and edge operators by applying the evolutionary game theory. Then, this paper analyzes the equilibrium and stability conditions for the decision-making of both parties involved to guarantee the QoE reaches the ideal state. In addition, we investigate the factors that influence the stable cooperation between the two evolutionary stable strategies and validate the theoretical analytical results with numerical simulations. The research results show that the final evolution of the cloud–edge collaboration system depends on the benefits and costs of the game matrix between the two parties and the initial state values of the system. Under a specific condition, the cloud–edge collaboration system can eventually be driven to be an ideal state by reducing the collaboration cost and improving the collaboration benefit. The more both parties focus on the QoE, the more conducive it will be for the formation of a cloud–edge collaboration, thus effectively promoting long-term stability and better serving enterprises’ digital transformation.

35. CONSTRUCTION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF A NANOSTRUCTURED BIOCATALYST CONSISTING OF IMMOBILIZED LIPASE ON Mg-AMINO-CLAY

Abstract

Lipase is an industrial enzyme, the catalytic efficiency of which is restricted by various environmental factors. To improve this efficiency, immobilization technology has been utilized in the past to improve the stability of lipase in harsh conditions. Immobilization technology can be divided into physical methods and chemical methods. Some unsolved problems remain in current immobilization technology. The interaction between enzyme and immobilization support is weak and reversible during physical adsorption, resulting in poor stability of the immobilized enzyme and the contamination of substrate solution by leached enzymes. In chemical methods, enzyme-active sites might be inactivated due to the chemical reactions between enzyme molecules and support, resulting in a decrease in the enzymes’ catalytic activity (Liu et al., 2018a). The objective of the current study was to construct a nanostructured lipase via Mg-amino-clay as a carrier and improve the catalytic activity and stability of lipase by immobilization. Lipase produced by Aspergillus oryzaewas immobilized on aminopropyl functionalized magnesium phyllosilicate (a 2:1 trioctahedral talc-like silicate Mg-amino-clay) via a 1-(3-Dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethyl-carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC) coupling agent. The physical and chemical properties of the Mg-amino-clay and Mg-amino-clay-based nanostructured biocatalyst (Mg-clay-lipase) were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. Optimal immobilization conditions were determined by taking into account the following variables: amount of initial lipase, EDC concentration, and reaction time. The results revealed that the optimum temperature, pH, and thermal stability of Mg-clay-lipase were greater than equivalent values for free lipase under optimal conditions (described below – Process for Immobilization of Lipase on Mg-amino-clay). The Michaelis-Menten constant (Km) values were 5.25 mM and 7.42 mM while the maximum reaction rates (vmax) were 30.58 mM/(L·min) and 55.87 mM/(L·min) for free lipase and Mg-clay-lipase, respectively. The present study provided a new nanostructured biocatalyst and demonstrated that the enzyme activity and stability of Mg-clay-lipase were superior to those of free lipase due to the mechanism of 'interface activation'.

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a novel integrated communication and positioning design for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system aided by a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) in indoor circumstances. The channel frequency responses on pilots (CFROPs) of places of interest are used for online mapping with the offline CFROP database. We transform the objective of minimizing the similarity of different CFROPs into creating a differentiated database by optimizing the phase coefficients of RIS. Imperfect channel state information is considered due to time-varying caused by the two-stage mapping. We formulate a universal optimization problem for maximizing either the average or the minimum virtual distance of CFROPs. The communication service requirements are converted as constraints. A moderate case is discussed to reduce computational complexity with minor accuracy loss. A special property called correlation dispersion is analyzed. It is capable of eliminating the spatial consistency that incurs inaccuracy to traditional positioning methods. The property and the moderate case complement each other well with clear and logical physical interpretation. The particular characteristic makes our design outperform others especially in high-level-noise environments.
