Ultralight dark matter (ULDM) is one of the leading well-motivated dark matter candidates, predicted in many theories beyond the standard model of particle physics and cosmology. There have been increasing interests in searching for ULDM in physical and astronomical experiments, mostly assuming there are additional interactions other than gravity between ULDM and normal matter. Here we demonstrate that even if ULDM has only gravitational interaction, it shall induce gravitational perturbations in solar system that may be large enough to cause detectable signals in future gravitational-wave (GW) laser interferometers in space. We investigate the sensitivities of Michelson time-delay interferometer to ULDM of various spins, and show vector ULDM with mass $m\lesssim 10^{-18}~$eV can be probed by space-based GW detectors aiming at $\mu$Hz frequencies. Ultralight particles are theoretically well-motivated dark matter candidates. In the vicinity of the solar system, these ultralight particles are described as a superposition of plane waves, resulting in a stochastic field with amplitude fluctuations on scales determined by the velocity dispersion of dark matter. In this work, we systematically investigate the sensitivity of space-based gravitational-wave interferometers to the stochastic ultralight dark matter field within the frequentist framework. We derive the projected sensitivity of a single detector using the time-delay interferometry and find that the stochastic effect will only diminish the performance of the detector marginally, unlike searches in other contexts where significant reductions are found. Furthermore, we explore the sensitivity of detector network in two typical configurations. We find that the well-separated configuration, where the distance between two detectors exceeds the coherence length of dark matter, is the optimal choice for ultralight dark matter detection due to a less chance of missing signal. This contrasts with the detection of stochastic gravitational-wave background, where the co-located and co-aligned configuration is preferred. Dark matter (DM) constitutes the predominant portion of matter in our universe. Despite compelling evidence, the precise characteristics of DM remain elusive. Among the leading DM candidates are weakly interacting massive particles, which may aggregate into steep concentrations around the central black holes of galaxies, forming dense spikes. Employing Schwarzschild geometry, we assess the density and velocity distribution of DM within such spikes. Through variations in black hole masses and dark halo parameters, we identify universal features in the density profile of DM and fit them with Gaussian distributions. Additionally, we investigate the impact of dynamical friction on gravitational waves (GWs) generated by extreme-mass-ratio inspirals (EMRIs) within DM spikes. We explore the new physics phenomena of gravidynamics governed by the inhomogeneous spin gauge symmetry based on the gravitational quantum field theory. Such a gravidynamics enables us to derive the generalized Einstein equation and an equation beyond it. To simplify the analyses, we linearize the dynamic equations of gravitational interaction by keeping terms up to the leading order in the dual gravigauge field. We then apply the linearized dynamic equations into two particular gravitational phenomena. First, we consider the linearized equations in the absence of source fields, which is shown to have five physical propagating polarizations as gravitational waves, i.e., two tensor modes, two vector modes, and one scalar, instead of two tensor polarizations in the general relativity. Second, we examine the Newtonian limit in which the gravitational fields and the matter source distribution are weak and static. By deriving the associated Poisson equation, we obtain the exact relation of the fundamental interaction coupling in the gravidynamics with the experimentally measured Newtonian constant. We also make use of nonrelativistic objects and relativistic photons to probe the Newtonian field configurations. In particular, the experiments from the gravitational deflection of light rays and the Shapiro time delay can place stringent constraints on the linearized gravidynamics in the gravitational quantum field theory., Comment: 7 pages, 1 figure

Particle decays are always accompanied by the emission of graviton quanta of gravity through bremsstrahlung processes. However, the corresponding branching ratio is suppressed by the square of the ratio of particle's mass to the Planck scale. The resulting present abundance of gravitational waves (GWs), composed of gravitons, is analogously suppressed. We show that superheavy particles, as heavy as the Planck scale, can be naturally produced during the post-inflationary reheating stage in the early Universe and their decays yield dramatic amounts of GWs over broad frequency range. The dynamic electric dipole polarizabilities of the $5s^2~^1S_0$, $5s5p~^3P_{0}$, and $5s5p~^3P_2$ states for Cd atoms are calculated using the relativistic configuration interaction plus many-body perturbation theory method. The magic wavelengths for the $5s^2~^1S_0\rightarrow 5s5p~^3P_{0}$ and $5s^2~^1S_0\rightarrow 5s5p~^3P_2$ transitions within a range of 300-500 nm are identified. The possibility of achieving triple magic trapping for the transitions $5s^2~^1S_0\rightarrow5s5p~^3P_{0}$ and $5s^2~^1S_0\rightarrow5s5p~^3P_2$ is investigated. It is found that no common magic wavelength could be identified for achieving triple magic trapping with the linearly polarized light. However, if the degree of ellipticity is between $0.358$ and $1$, the triple magic trapping can be achieved at 419.88 nm for the $5s^2 ~ ^1S_0\rightarrow 5s5p~^3P_2$ ($M_{i}=\pm2$) and $5s^2~^1S_0\rightarrow5s5p~^3P_{0}$ transitions.

Diffusion models have achieved remarkable advancements in text-to-image generation. However, existing models still have many difficulties when faced with multiple-object compositional generation. In this paper, we propose RealCompo, a new training-free and transferred-friendly text-to-image generation framework, which aims to leverage the respective advantages of text-to-image models and spatial-aware image diffusion models (e.g., layout, keypoints and segmentation maps) to enhance both realism and compositionality of the generated images. An intuitive and novel balancer is proposed to dynamically balance the strengths of the two models in denoising process, allowing plug-and-play use of any model without extra training. Extensive experiments show that our RealCompo consistently outperforms state-of-the-art text-to-image models and spatial-aware image diffusion models in multiple-object compositional generation while keeping satisfactory realism and compositionality of the generated images. Notably, our RealCompo can be seamlessly extended with a wide range of spatial-aware image diffusion models and stylized diffusion models. For a long time, due to the high heterogeneity in structure and semantics among various spatiotemporal modal data, the joint interpretation of multimodal spatiotemporal data has been an extremely challenging problem. The primary challenge resides in striking a trade-off between the cohesion and autonomy of diverse modalities, and this trade-off exhibits a progressively nonlinear nature as the number of modalities expands. We introduce the Language as Reference Framework (LaRF), a fundamental principle for constructing a multimodal unified model, aiming to strike a trade-off between the cohesion and autonomy among different modalities. We propose a multimodal spatiotemporal general artificial intelligence model, called AllSpark. Our model integrates thirteen different modalities into a unified framework, including 1D (text, code), 2D (RGB, infrared, SAR, multispectral, hyperspectral, tables, graphs, trajectory, oblique photography), and 3D (point clouds, videos) modalities. To achieve modal cohesion, AllSpark uniformly maps diverse modal features to the language modality. In addition, we design modality-specific prompts to guide multi-modal large language models in accurately perceiving multimodal data. To maintain modality autonomy, AllSpark introduces modality-specific encoders to extract the tokens of various spatiotemporal modalities. And modal bridge is employed to achieve dimensional projection from each modality to the language modality. Finally, observing a gap between the model's interpretation and downstream tasks, we designed task heads to enhance the model's generalization capability on specific downstream tasks. General relativity has been very successful since its proposal more a century ago. However, various cosmological observations and theoretical consistency still motivate us to explore extended gravity theories. Horndeski gravity stands out as one attractive theory by introducing only one scalar field. Here we formulate the post-Newtonian effective field theory of Horndeski gravity and investigate the conservative dynamics of the inspiral compact binary systems. We calculate the leading effective Lagrangian for a compact binary and obtain the periastron advance per period. In particular, we apply our analytical calculation to two binary systems, PSR B 1534+12 and PSR J0737-3039, and constrain the relevant model parameters. The refined values of the magnetic octupole moments of $^{113}$In and $^{115}$In are obtained by combining high-precision atomic calculations with corresponding hyperfine structure spectrum. We performed an \textit{ab initio }calculations of hyperfine-structure properties for the low-lying states of In atom using the single and double approximated relativistic coupled-cluster method. The hyperfine-structure properties includes first-order hyperfine-structure constants and the second-order magnetic dipole-magnetic dipole, magnetic dipole-electric quadrupole, and electric quadrupole-electric quadrupole effects caused by the off-diagonal hyperfine interaction. Based on our theoretical results, we reanalyze the previously measurements of hyperfine splitting in the 5$p_{3/2}$ state of $^{113}$In and $^{115}$In [Eck and Kusch, Phys. Rev. 106, 958 (1957)], determining corresponding hyperfine-structure constants $A$, $B$, and $C$. By combining these undated HFS constants and our theoretical results, the magnetic octupole moments of $^{113}$In and $^{115}$In nuclei are extracted to be $\Omega(^{113}\rm In)=0.455(44)$~$\mathrm{\mu_{N}\times b}$ , and $\Omega(^{115}\rm In)=0.443(42)$~$\mathrm{\mu_{N}\times b}$, respectively. The refined values of magnetic octupole moments are about smaller 21\% than the previously reported results by Eck and Kusch [Phys. Rev. 106, 958 (1957)]. Additionally, we also determine the electric quadrupole moment of $^{115}$In nuclei to be $Q(^{115}\rm In)=0.767(9)$ b by combining our theoretical results and the measured values for hyperfine-structure constants of the 5$p_{3/2}$ and 6$p_{3/2}$ states. Inflation with Weyl scaling symmetry provides a viable scenario that can generate both the nearly scaling invariant primordial density fluctuation and a dark matter candidate. Here we point out that, in additional to the primordial gravitational waves (GWs) from quantum fluctuations, the production of high-frequency GWs from preheating in such inflation models can provide an another probe of the inflationary dynamics. We conduct both linear analytical analysis and nonlinear numerical lattice simulation in a typical model. We find that significant stochastic GWs can be produced and the frequency band is located around $10^8$ Hz $\sim$ $10^9$ Hz, which might be probed by future resonance-cavity experiments., Comment: 21 pages, 6 figures

Ultralight bosonic fields (ULBFs) are predicted by various theories beyond the standard model of particle physics and are viable candidates of cold dark matter. There have been increasing interests to search for the ULBFs in physical and astronomical experiments. In this paper, we investigate the sensitivity of several planned space-based gravitational-wave interferometers to ultralight scalar and vector fields. Using time-delay interferometry (TDI) to suppress the overwhelming laser frequency noise, we derive the averaged transfer functions of different TDI combinations to scalar and vector fields, and estimate the impacts of bosonic field's velocities. We obtain the sensitivity curves for LISA, Taiji and TianQin, and explore their projected constraints on the couplings between ULBFs and standard model particles, illustrating with the ULBFs as dark matter., Comment: 33 pages, 8 figures

Ultralight bosons are well-motivated particles from various physical and cosmological theories, and can be spontaneously produced during the superradiant process, forming a dense hydrogen-like cloud around the spinning black hole. After the growth saturates, the cloud slowly depletes its mass through gravitational-wave emission. In this work we study the orbit dynamics of a binary system containing such a gravitational atom saturated in various spin-0,1,2 superradiant states, taking into account both the effects of dynamical friction and the cloud mass depletion. We estimate the significance of mass depletion, finding that although dynamical friction could dominate the inspiral phase, it typically does not affect the outspiral phase driven by the mass depletion. Focusing on the large orbit radius, we investigate the condition to observe the outspiral, and the detectability of the cloud via pulsar-timing signal in the case of black hole-pulsar binary., Comment: 17 pages, 10 figures

In recent network architectures, multi-MEC cooperative caching has been introduced to reduce the transmission latency of VR videos, in which MEC servers' computing and caching capability are utilized to optimize the transmission process. However, many solutions that use the computing capability of MEC servers ignore the additional arithmetic power consumed by the codec process, thus making them infeasible. Besides, the minimum cache unit is usually the entire VR video, which makes caching inefficient. To address these challenges, we split VR videos into tile files for caching based on the current popular network architecture and provide a reliable transmission mechanism and an effective caching strategy. Since the number of different tile files N is too large, the current cooperative caching algorithms do not cope with such large-scale input data. We further analyze the problem and propose an optimized k-shortest paths (OKSP) algorithm with an upper bound time complexity of O((K * M + N) * M * logN)), and suitable for shortest paths with restricted number of edges, where K is the total number of tiles that all M MEC servers can cache in the collaboration domain. And we prove the OKSP algorithm can compute the caching scheme with the lowest average latency in any case, which means the solution given is the exact solution. The simulation results show that the OKSP algorithm has excellent speed for solving large-scale data and consistently outperforms other caching algorithms in the experiments.

The cosmological observations of cosmic microwave background and large-scale structure indicate that our universe has a nearly scaling invariant power spectrum of the primordial perturbation. However, the exact origin for this primordial spectrum is still unclear. Here, we propose the Weyl scaling invariant $R^2+R^3$ gravity that gives rise to inflation that is responsible for the primordial perturbation in the early universe. We develop both analytic and numerical treatments on inflationary observables, and find this model gives a distinctive scalar potential that can support two different patterns of inflation. The first one is similar to that occurs in the pure $R^2$ model, but with a wide range of tensor-to-scalar ratio $r$ from $\mathcal O(10^{-4})$ to $\mathcal O(10^{-2})$. The other one is a new situation with not only slow-roll inflation but also a short stage of oscillation-induced accelerating expansion. Performance of trimap-free image matting methods is limited when trying to decouple the deterministic and undetermined regions, especially in the scenes where foregrounds are semantically ambiguous, chromaless, or high transmittance. In this paper, we propose a novel framework named Privileged Prior Information Distillation for Image Matting (PPID-IM) that can effectively transfer privileged prior environment-aware information to improve the performance of students in solving hard foregrounds. The prior information of trimap regulates only the teacher model during the training stage, while not being fed into the student network during actual inference. In order to achieve effective privileged cross-modality (i.e. trimap and RGB) information distillation, we introduce a Cross-Level Semantic Distillation (CLSD) module that reinforces the trimap-free students with more knowledgeable semantic representations and environment-aware information. We also propose an Attention-Guided Local Distillation module that efficiently transfers privileged local attributes from the trimap-based teacher to trimap-free students for the guidance of local-region optimization. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of our PPID framework on the task of image matting. In addition, our trimap-free IndexNet-PPID surpasses the other competing state-of-the-art methods by a large margin, especially in scenarios with chromaless, weak texture, or irregular objects., Comment: 15 pages, 7 figures

Although previous graph-based multi-view clustering algorithms have gained significant progress, most of them are still faced with three limitations. First, they often suffer from high computational complexity, which restricts their applications in large-scale scenarios. Second, they usually perform graph learning either at the single-view level or at the view-consensus level, but often neglect the possibility of the joint learning of single-view and consensus graphs. Third, many of them rely on the k-means for discretization of the spectral embeddings, which lack the ability to directly learn the graph with discrete cluster structure. In light of this, this paper presents an efficient multi-view clustering approach via unified and discrete bipartite graph learning (UDBGL). Specifically, the anchor-based subspace learning is incorporated to learn the view-specific bipartite graphs from multiple views, upon which the bipartite graph fusion is leveraged to learn a view-consensus bipartite graph with adaptive weight learning. Further, the Laplacian rank constraint is imposed to ensure that the fused bipartite graph has discrete cluster structures (with a specific number of connected components). By simultaneously formulating the view-specific bipartite graph learning, the view-consensus bipartite graph learning, and the discrete cluster structure learning into a unified objective function, an efficient minimization algorithm is then designed to tackle this optimization problem and directly achieve a discrete clustering solution without requiring additional partitioning, which notably has linear time complexity in data size. Experiments on a variety of multi-view datasets demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of our UDBGL approach. We examine contributions to the muon dipole moment $g-2$ from a 3-form field $\Omega$, which naturally arises from many fundamental theories, such as the string theory and the hyperunified field theory. In particular, by calculating the one-loop Feynman diagram, we have obtained the leading-order $\Omega$-induced contribution to the muon $g-2$, which is found to be finite. Then we investigate the theoretical constraints from perturbativity and unitarity. Especially, the unitarity bounds are yielded by computing the tree-level $\mu^+\mu^-$ scattering amplitudes of various initial and final helicity configurations. As a result, despite the strong unitarity bounds imposed on this model of $\Omega$, we have still found a substantial parameter space which can accommodates the muon $g-2$ data., Comment: 21 pages, 3 figures; references added
