Abstract

A class of optimal control problems governed by linear fractional diffusion equation with control constraint is considered. We first establish some results on the existence of strong solution to the state equation and the existence of optimal solutions for the optimal control problem. Then we derive first-and second-order optimality conditions for locally optimal solutions to the problem.

23. Optimality Conditions for Approximate Pareto Solutions of a Nonsmooth Vector Optimization Problem with an Infinite Number of Constraints

Abstract

In this paper, we present some new necessary and sufficient optimality conditions in terms of Clarke subdifferentials for approximate Pareto solutions of a nonsmooth vector optimization problem which has an infinite number of constraints. As a consequence, we obtain optimality conditions for the particular cases of cone-constrained convex vector optimization problems and semidefinite vector optimization problems. Examples are given to illustrate the obtained results.

Abstract

This paper deals with the uniformly stability (US), globally uniformly asymptotically stability (GUAS) and instability of zero solution as well as integrability and boundedness of nonzero solutions of certain nonlinear integro‐differential equations (IDEs). We prove five new theorems, which include sufficient conditions related to these fundamental qualitative properties of solutions to the IDEs considered. The main tools used in the proof are two new and suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskiiˇ functionals (LKFs). In particular cases, two numerical examples are given and solved via the fourth order Runge–Kutta method (RKM) in MATLAB to illustrate the theoretical results of this paper. Compared with the existing results on the fundamental qualitative behaviors of scalar IDEs, our results are new, original, more effective and convenient for tests and applications. Abstract

In this paper, we study the existence of solutions for non-coercive variational-hemivariational inequalities involving nonlocal fractional p-Laplacian. Our approach is based on the theory of pseudomonotone operators in the sense of Brézis, recession analysis and the properties of nonlocal fractional p-Laplace operators recently established.The innovation of this paper is that we do not assume the usual coercivity or smallness assumptions as stated in most existing literature. The absence of such assumptions will make the existence of solutions very complicated. Abstract

In this paper, we show the existence of solutions of the convex minimization problems and common fixed problems in CAT(1) spaces under some mild conditions. For this, we propose the new modified the proximal point algorithm. Further, we give some applications for the convex minimization problem and the fixed point problem in CAT(κ) spaces with the bounded positive real number κ. 39. Mixed Variational Inequality Problem Involving Generalized Yosida Approximation Operator in q-Uniformly Smooth Banach Space

Abstract

A mixed variational inequality problem involving generalized Yosida approximation operator is considered and studied in q-uniformly smooth Banach space. We have shown that mixed variational inequality problem involving generalized Yosida approximation operator is equivalent to a fixed-point equation. The fixed-point formulation is applied to establish an algorithm to obtain the solution of mixed variational inequality problem involving generalized Yosida approximation operator. Convergence criteria are also discussed. In support of our main result, we provide an example using Matlab program together with a computation table and convergence graphs. To check the validity of mixed variational inequality problem involving generalized Yosida approximation operator and its fixed-point formulation, we construct one more example.
