This study investigated the relationship of a set of word-combination-based measures of phraseological diversity, sophistication, and complexity to second language (L2) Chinese proficiency and writing quality in comparison to that of a set of large-grained topic-comment-unit-based measures. Our dataset consisted of 101 assessed narratives produced by Korean learners of Chinese as a L2 at 3 proficiency levels. Multiple phraseological measures exhibited stronger correlations with quality ratings and/or larger effect sizes for proficiency than did the large-grained topic-comment-unit-based measures. Measures pertaining to language-specific features, including topic-comment-unit-based measures and phraseological measures based on language-specific word combination types, exhibited stronger discriminative power for intermediate and advanced levels than for beginning and intermediate levels. Our results also revealed the importance of predicate-related combinations in assessing L2 Chinese phraseological diversity and complexity. We discuss the implications of our findings for L2 Chinese writing research and L2 Chinese pedagogy.

This study proposed a set of measures for assessing noun phrase (NP) complexity in second language (L2) Chinese writing and compared the predictive power of these measures for L2 Chinese writing quality to that of a set of syntactic complexity measures based on the topic-comment unit (TC-unit). Our data consisted of 101 narratives written by beginning-intermediate, intermediate-advanced, and advanced Korean Chinese-as-a-second-language (CSL) learners and rated by 2 trained CSL teachers. Results showed that the NP complexity measures explained a substantially larger proportion of variance in holistic writing scores than the TC-unit-based measures. Our findings confirmed the validity of the NP complexity measures we proposed and the need to attend to phrasal complexity in assessing L2 Chinese writing quality.

The inefficient conversion of lead iodide to perovskite has become one of the major challenges in further improving the performance of perovskite solar cells fabricated by the two‐step method. Herein, the discontinuous lead iodide layer realized by introduction of a polyfluorinated organic diammonium salt, octafluoro‐([1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4,4′‐diyl)‐dimethanaminium (OFPP) iodide which does not form low‐dimensional perovskites, can enable the satisfactory conversion of lead iodide into perovskite, leading to meliorated crystallinity and enlarged grains in the OFPP modulated perovskite (OFPP‐PVK) film. Combined with the effective defect passivation, the OFPP‐PVK films show enhanced charge mobility and suppressed charge recombination. Accordingly, the OFPP‐based perovskite solar cells exhibit a champion efficiency of 24.76 % with better device stability. Moreover, a superior efficiency of 21.04 % was achieved in a large‐area perovskite module (100 cm2). NDVI (Normalized Vegetation Index) is an important characteristic index to study regional vegetation change, which is greatly influenced by meteorological data. Based on the analysis of the trend change and correlation between NDVI and PWV (Precipitable Water Vapor), precipitation and temperature in four geographical regions of China, this paper constructs a model between NDVI and PWV, precipitation and temperature in each geographical region according to multiple regression, and predicts NDVI through meteorological data. The results show that:(1) NDVI and meteorological factors have the same changing trend, and the maximum value appears in every region from June to September, and the value of NDVI in southern region is relatively large. (2) The correlation between rainfall and NDVI is the highest in Qinghai-Tibet region, the correlation between temperature, PWV and NDVI is the highest in northern region, the correlation between NDVI and rainfall, temperature and PWV is the lowest in southern region. (3)According to the meteorological data ,NDVI prediction can be achieved better, and the prediction effect in southern region is the best and the model accuracy is the highest. (4) NDVI is negatively related to El Niño event, positively related to La Nina event, and the stronger El Niño and La Nina events are, the higher the correlation is.

Heat treatment is a widely applied technique in the preservation of fruits and vegetables, effectively addressing issues such as disease management, rot prevention, and browning. In this study, we investigated the impact of heat treatment at 35 °C for 24 h on the quality characteristics and disease resistance of two sweet potato varieties, P32/P (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam. cv 'Pushu13') and Xinxiang (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam. cv 'Xinxiang'). The growth in vitro and reproduction of Rhizopus stolonifer were significantly inhibited at 35 °C. However, it resumed when returned to suitable growth conditions. The heat treatment (at 35 °C for 24 h) was found to mitigate nutrient loss during storage while enhancing the structural characteristics and free radical scavenging capacity of sweet potato. Additionally, it led to increased enzyme activities for APX, PPO, and POD, alongside decreased activities for Cx and PG, thereby enhancing the disease resistance of sweet potato against soft rot. As a result, the heat treatment provided a theoretical basis for the prevention of sweet potato soft rot and had guiding significance for improving the resistance against sweet potato soft rot. The lithospheric structure of the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent area is a hot topic in geodynamic research. It is important to reveal the mechanism of crustal deformation and tectonic evolution of the study area. In this study, the techniques of wavelet multiscale decomposition and field edge detection were used to study the discontinuities of the lithosphere revealed by multilevel Bouguer gravity anomalies. Specifically, we evaluated the depth characteristics of the major active faults in the study area and identified 15 deep major faults that cut through the lithosphere. They are Chaman fault, Shyok suture zone, Altyn-Tagh fault, Karakash fault, Karakoram fault, Talas-Fergana fault, Kashgarr-Yeshgar transfer system, Rushan-Pshart suture zone, Sangri-Nacuo fault, Main Frontal thrust, Burmese fold belt, Yadong-Gulu fault, Gaoligong fault, Sagaing fault and Nujiang fault. We have also elucidated the tectonic mechanisms of two famous geodynamic phenomena in the Pamir Plateau. The first is the intense intermediate depth seismicity beneath Pamir-Hindukush. It cannot simply be described as the rupture of a subducted residual plate, which could be divided into two distinct tectonic units. One belongs to the Indian plate, the other to the Eurasian plate. Secondly, the mechanism of intense seismicity confined to the western upper crust of the Pamir Plateau could be explained as significant fragmentation of crustal material. Finally, and most importantly, we summarized the coupling mechanism between deep geodynamics and horizontal deformation as observed by modern geodetic techniques. In the upper mantle, the leading edge of the subducting Indian plate reached the SW boundary of Tarim basin and forms a closed structure in western Himalaya. Then, the Tibetan Plateau underwent a tectonic escape towards the east under the continuous compression between the Indian and Eurasian plates. During the process of tectonic escape, the role of the N–S direction normal faults in the Himalayan tectonic zone is limited. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Building information modeling ( BIM ), as an important emerging technology in the construction industry, has developed rapidly in recent ten years. It is of great significance to make a comparative analysis of the research progress and trends in the field of BIM at home and abroad. International and domestic BIM research literatures from 2010 to 2020 are analyzed by means of co-word analysis and cluster analysis. With reference to the literatures retrieved from web of science database and CNKI database, scientific knowledge mappings are drawn with Citespace software. The two dimensions of international and domestic BIM research hotspots and the evolution trend of BIM research are compared and analyzed. The results show that international BIM research differs domestic BIM research in degree, and the correlation and research focus of each hot spot are different.
