The construction scale of a wastewater centralized treatment facility in a printing and dyeing cluster improvement park in Zhejiang Province was 30 000 m3/d. According to the characteristics of wastewater in the park, the main process of “regulation tank+cooling system+reaction initial sedimentation tank+anaerobic hydrolysis tank+A/O biochemical tank+secondary sedimentation tank+high-efficiency sedimentation tank” was adopted. The results showed that the process was stable and efficient. When the average COD, BOD5, and total antimony in the influent were 1 370, 360 and 1.17 mg/L, the COD, BOD5, and total antimony in effluent were respectively reduced to 88, 7.4, and 0.049 mg/L, with the corresponding removal rates of 94%, 98% and 96%. The effluent met the indirect discharge requirements in Table 2 of “Discharge Standards of Water Pollutants for Dyeing and Finishing of Textile Industry”(GB 4287-2012). The project adopted a coagulation agent enhanced initial sedimentation process to achieve effective carbon capture of wastewater and indirectly export energy, which was conducive to the reduction of carbon emissions. The main treatment unit adopted intensive combination and deep pool design to save land, which could be used as a reference for land limited wastewater plants.

Short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) are a class of saturated fatty acids containing 1-6 carbon atoms, which are mainly produced by specific flora in the intestine through the fermentation of dietary fiber, and play an important role in maintaining the homeostasis of the intestinal environment. Recent studies have shown that SCFAs can regulate glucose and lipid metabolism, regulate energy balance, maintain the intestinal barrier and reduce inflammatory responses, eventually participating in the occurrence and development of metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, lipid metabolic disorders and nonalcoholic fat liver disease through the above multiple pathways. This article summarizes the mechanism of SCFAs regulating metabolism and the research progress in the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases, in order to provide more reference materials for the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases.

2D materials have exhibited great potential for applications in anticorrosion nanocoatings. However, the nanocoating of prefocused graphene shows "corrosion‐promoting activity" due to its high conductivity. Metal oxide nanosheets obtained by delaminating layered oxides have been another attractive candidate. This study demonstrates a water‐based Ca2Nb3O10 (CNO) ink spray coated on magnesium alloys to form a continuous coating without complex functionalization and structural control. The composite coating of Ca2Nb3O10 (CNO) and polydopamine (PDA) is fabricated by combining spray‐ and dip‐coating methods. The surface composition and microstructure of the as‐prepared coatings are characterized by X‐ray diffractometry, Fourier transform infrared, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and energy‐dispersive spectrometry. The anticorrosion performance of the composite coating is evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and salt spray tests. The electrochemical results show that the CNO/PDA heterostructure coating provides an enhanced corrosion inhibition efficiency (99.62%) with a corrosion current density of 5.49 × 10−7 A cm−2, three orders of magnitude lower than bare AZ31. The immersion tests before and after heat treatment and salt spray tests indicate that the composite coating has good stability and long‐term anticorrosion performance. Solution‐processed nanocoating and extensible materials design provide a green and facile route to anticorrosion nanotechnology for industrial demands. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The value of two-dimensional (2D) materials in printed electronics has been gradually explored, and the rheological properties of 2D material dispersions are very different for various printing technologies. Understanding the rheological properties of 2D material dispersions plays a vital role in selecting the optimal manufacturing technology. Inkjet printing is suitable for small nanosheet sizes and low solution viscosity, and it has a significant advantage in developing nanosheet inks because of its masklessness, high efficiency, and high precision. In this work, we selected 2D Ti0.8Co0.2O2 nanosheets, which can be synthesized in large quantities by the liquid phase exfoliation technique; investigated the effects of nanosheet particle size, solution concentration on the rheological properties of the dispersion; and obtained the optimal printing processing method of the dispersion as inkjet printing. The ultrathin Ti0.8Co0.2O2 nanosheet films were prepared by inkjet printing, and their magnetic characteristics were compared with those of Ti0.8Co0.2O2 powder. The films prepared by inkjet printing exhibited long-range ordering, maintaining the nanosheet powders' paramagnetic characteristics. Our work underscored the potential of inkjet printing as a promising method for fabricating precisely controlled thin films using 2D materials, with applications spanning electronics, sensors, and catalysis.
