Aim: To investigate the correlation between organizational agility and nurses' readiness for change. Background: The paradigm of agility in a healthcare organization is a novel concept that embodies the most advantageous organizational status. However, assessing the effects of organizational agility on nurses' readiness for change has not been previously studied. Methods: This cross‐sectional study was conducted on 270 nurses working in a university hospital in Egypt. The study took place between January ‐ March 2022, and participation was voluntary. Data were collected using the organizational agility scale and individual readiness for change scales. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and structured equation modeling (SEM). Results: The results indicated that nurses in the hospital exhibited a moderate level of agility. Nurses' readiness for change is high. The SEM showed that organizational agility accounted for 64% of the variance in nurses' readiness for change. Conclusions: Organizational agility is a significant predictor of nurses' readiness for change. Implications for nursing policymaking: As a means of ensuring that nurses are prepared for changes, nursing institutions should foster agility by instilling a vision for the future, enhancing staff capabilities, encouraging teamwork and open communication, and implementing total quality management, strategic planning, advanced nursing practice, participatory management, shared decision‐making, and policy development. Night temperature plays a key role in the growth and development of rice plants, specifically the flowering and grain filling stages. An increase in night temperature more than the normal range is regarded as high night temperature (HNT). The HNT results in reduced yield; largely the action mechanism of HNT induced rice grain yield loss remains unknown. The present study provides a comprehensive and holistic analysis of HNT induced impact on several morphological, physiological and anatomical factors which individually or in combination may be linked with yield loss. Normal night temperature (AMB) and + 2° C and + 5° C increase (referred to as HNTs) from ambient temperature was imposed on seven rice varieties viz. Ronga Ahu, Haringa, Inglonkiri, Dishang, Maibee, and Banglami over 2 years in bioreactor facilities. The Nagina-22 (N-22), a drought tolerant variety was used as a reference line. Based on grain yield and grain filling percentage, Maibee was highly sensitive; while Bangalami was the most tolerant to HNT. Key parameters of reproductive growth were reduced by HNT among all the varieties, with Bangalami and Maibee proving tolerant and sensitive to HNT. Among the physiological attributes viz. Fv/Fm, NPQ, qP, Pn, gs, iCO2, ETR, and Φ yield showed deviation from normal values under HNT, which led to a reduction in carboxylation efficiency and carbohydrate synthesis in all the varieties. Leaf anatomical features negatively impacted by HNT included the size of the stomatal pore, xylem, and phloem profiles. The SPAD showed a linear correlation with a reduction in leaf chlorophyll, and leaf and grain nitrogen content under HNT. Structured equation modeling (SEM) estimated the contribution of all the morphological and physiological variables toward grain yield loss under HNT. Among the 27 variables, mainly carboxylation efficiency (CO_S), quantum yield (QY_S), dark respiration (RES_S), Fv/Fm (FVFM_S), and non-photochemical and photochemical quenching (NPQ/PQ_S), chlorophyll stability (CS_S) were able to explain variance in grain yield loss under HNT in Bangalami, Maibee, and N-22. The findings of the present study provided a novel insight into the HNT action mechanism responsible for a reduction in growth, development, and yield in rice. Furthermore, SEM indicates important attributes which were crucial for HNT induced yield loss in rice varieties under study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Covid-19 pandemic has severely wide spread worldwide. Online purchases were increasing rapidly due to the pandemic. Customers were afraid to shop in physical stores and preferred shopping online to avoid people. Many companies were closing and moving to digitalization. The rise of social media has become such an important reference to customers in order to making purchasing decisions wisely The goal of this study is to explore the factors influencing customers’ decision to Electronic purchase (E-Purchase) from social media during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study uses unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) model. Accordingly, a questionnaire was conducted to analyze the factors with number of responses equals 551, six hypotheses were tested using Structured Equation Modeling (SEM). Results showed that Perceived Benefit, Perceived Expectancy, Social Influence, Perceived Security have positive significant impact on the E-purchase decision. Effort Expectancy, Hedonic Motivation have positive impact on E-purchase Decision but insignificantly.

In the current educational environment, it is both timely and appropriate to investigate if there is a difference in learning online compared to learning in person. Moreover, it is important to understand the effect such differences have on students taking in-person classes when compared to those who choose to take asynchronous online classes when in-person class alternatives are available. Our analysis of data collected from students in each type of course at three time periods reveals significant differences in the students' technical efficacy, level of frustration, and locus of control, among others, which help to explain, (in this case, explain better than their GPA) their performance in each course format. - Abstract
Learning through the use of digital media has grown at a rapid pace in the recent years, therefore, use of media has been adopted in many learning programs. The success, however, of these e-learning programs shows varied results. This is because most of these systems have been developed keeping in view the latest technologies rather than educational principles and learners’ perspective. Education is a service; however, very little research addresses issue of quality of service in educational environment. Therefore, it is important to design a system for e-learning which encompasses the aspects of overall quality perception leading to user satisfaction. In our paper, we have used E-Learning Quality model (Uppal, Ali, & Gulliver, 2017), which has been developed to assess perception of holistic service quality. Language has been used as a moderator since in any educational environment learning content is the key, and the language in which this content is delivered is vital. We believe that availability of educational material in local language has significant impact on overall satisfaction of the learner since it reduces the cognitive load of learner. Through Structured Equation Modeling, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) is conducted to investigate the reliability and validity of the measurement model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Exposure to parental abuse and lack of parental affection during childhood are risk factors for adulthood psychopathology. Tendency to engage in positive reappraisal may be a plausible mechanism underlying this relationship. The current study examined if positive reappraisal coping mediated the relationship between maternal/paternal abuse/affection and adulthood generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) symptoms. Participant data (N = 3294) from the Midlife Development in the United States study was collected in three waves, spaced nine years apart. Longitudinal structural equation mediation modeling examined whether positive reappraisal coping at Time 2 mediated the relationship between maternal/paternal abuse/affection at Time 1 and GAD symptoms at Time 3, controlling for GAD symptoms at Time 1. Positive reappraisal coping mediated maternal/paternal childhood abuse – GAD symptom severity and maternal/paternal childhood affection – GAD severity relations. Maternal and paternal abuse was associated with lower positive reappraisal tendencies, predicting increased GAD symptom severity. Conversely, higher maternal/paternal affection was associated with increased positive reappraisal, predicting lower GAD severity. Incremental prediction revealed that childhood abuse to GAD severity via positive reappraisal path was significant for maternal but not paternal abuse, whereas affection from both parents remained significant. Positive reappraisal coping may be a possible mechanism linking childhood experiences to adulthood GAD severity. • Positive reappraisal coping may link parental abuse/affection to adulthood GAD. • Maternal/paternal abuse predicted decreased positive reappraisal coping. • Maternal/paternal affection predicted increased positive reappraisal coping. • Positive reappraisal coping inversely predicted GAD symptoms in adulthood.
