Abstract
[EN] This paper studies the left-right division between political parties in Latin America. In order to do so, first of all the axes of ideological polarisation that coincide with this division are identified. Then, the elements that form these axes are analysed, together with whether or not they change over time. This is done by employing a technique of statistical analysis not often used in Political Science that allows us to represent and identify these components and the specific position of the parties with graphs
