Abstract

Fault identification of electrohydraulic servo valves is crucial to maintain the reliability and safety of high-precision electrohydraulic servo systems. Because the nonlinear characteristics and fault characteristics of electrohydraulic servo systems under noise conditions are implicit, it is difficult to obtain a large number of fault data of electrohydraulic servo valves. Therefore, an electrohydraulic servo valve fault diagnosis model based on characteristic distillation is proposed in this paper. First, the original fault data model is obtained based on an electrohydraulic servo valve fault test platform, the data are standardized, and the data of more than one cycle are extracted using a combination of down sampling and a sliding window for data enhancement. Second, a neural network fault diagnosis algorithm based on stack graph convolution is proposed, which is suitable for detecting different types of states (normal state, wear state, stuck state and coil short-circuit state) of electrohydraulic servo valves. The accuracy of the test set fluctuates between 0.7 and 1.0. Then, because there is a certain relationship between the characteristic smoothing phenomenon of a stack graph convolution model and the number of layers, a multilayer stack graph convolution model is bound to have problems such as model degradation. Therefore, a residual model is introduced into the stack model to improve the convergence speed of the model during the optimization process. The results show that the average accuracy of this method is 100%.

25. Reverse gate leakage mechanism of AlGaN/GaN HEMTs with Au-free gate

Abstract

The reverse gate leakage mechanism of W-gate and TiN-gate AlGaN/GaN high-electron-mobility transistors (HEMTs) with N2 plasma surface treatment is investigated using current–voltage (I–V) and capacitance–voltage (C–V) characteristics and theoretical calculation analysis. It is found that the main reverse gate leakage mechanism of both devices is the trap-assisted tunneling (TAT) mechanism in the entire reverse bias region (–30 V to 0 V). It is also found that the reverse gate leakage current of the W-gate AlGaN/GaN HEMTs is smaller than that of the TiN gate at high reverse gate bias voltage. Moreover, the activation energies of the extracted W-gate and TiN-gate AlGaN/GaN HEMTs are 0.0551 eV–0.127 eV and 0.112 eV–0.201 eV, respectively.

28. Study on Physical and Mechanical Properties of Soil in a Loess Landslide

Abstract

This article takes a landslide in Zhidan County as the research object. Based on the field survey before and after the landslide occurred, the engineering geological conditions of the landslide were obtained, the landslide deformation characteristics were mastered, and then the landslide development process was divided into the early stable stage, the creeping deformation stage. the severe sliding stage and the stage after violent sliding. Soil samples of the landslide were taken before and after the landslide occurred, and the physical parameters were measured to analyze the physical properties of the slide zone soil. At the same time, direct shear, triaxial, and ring shear tests were used to obtain the mechanical properties of the landslide soil under different test conditions, and the shear strength index value of the slide zone soil was analyzed. The main conclusions are as follows: After the landslide slides fiercely, the water content increases, the plasticity and compressibility increase, the properties of the slip zone soil deteriorate, and the relevant physical parameters such as the porosity ratio of the slip zone soil at the front edge change little; Moreover, the C and ψ values of the landslide soils decreased significantly, indicating that landslide sliding caused a large degree of shear damage to the landslide soils.

Abstract

The orbital angular momentum (OAM) of light has garnered significant interest in recent years owing to its various applications, and extensive creative research has been conducted to generate OAM. However, the particular helical phase structure of an optical vortex leads to nonsmooth and discontinuous phase profiles and hinders the accurate recovery of the phase distribution of the vortex beam. Significantly, the existence of a wavefront dislocation leads to the failure of the traditional phase unwrapping algorithm. At the same time, it is essential to detect the wavefront of OAM modes in real-time for free-space optical communication and optical precision measurement. Therefore, we designed conformal mappingâ€"spatial phase-shifting interferometry and achieved rapid and high-precision wavefront measurements for the OAM modes. The wavefront of the OAM modes with a topological charge of 1, 2, 4 and 6 were measured, respectively. The results were significantly consistent with the anticipated results based on simulations. This study reveals the mathematical mechanism behind the forked fringe patterns and presents a method for demodulating the helical wavefront from the forked fringe patterns. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Mueller matrix is a comprehensive representation of the polarization transformation properties of the sample and encode very rich information on the microstructure of the scattering objects. However, it is often inconvenient to use individual Mueller matrix elements to characterize the microstructure due to lack of explicit connections between the matrix elements and the physics properties of the scattering samples. In this review, we summarize the methods to derive groups of polarization parameters, which have clear physical meanings and associations with certain structural properties of turbid media, including various Mueller matrix decomposition (MMD) methods and Mueller matrix transformation (MMT) technique. Previously, experimentalists will choose the most suitable method for specific measurement scheme. In this review, we introduce an emerging novel research paradigm called "polaromics". In this paradigm, both MMD and MMT parameters are considered as polarimetry basis parameters (PBP), which are used to construct polarimetry feature parameters (PFP) for quantitative characterization of complex biomedical samples. Machine learning techniques are involved for finding PFPs that are sensitive to specific micro- or macro-structural features. The goal of this review is to provide an overview of the emerging "polaromics" paradigm, which may pave the way for biomedical and clinical applications of polarimetry.
