In Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), vision is the primary mode of perception. However, vehicle images captured by low-cost traffic cameras under challenging weather conditions often suffer from poor resolution and insufficient detail representation. On the other hand, vehicle noise provides complementary auditory features that offer advantages such as environmental adaptability and a large recognition distance. To address these limitations and enhance the accuracy of low-quality traffic surveillance classification and identification, an effective audio-visual feature fusion method is crucial. This paper presents a research study that establishes an Urban Road Vehicle Audio-visual (URVAV) dataset specifically designed for low-quality images and noise recorded in complex weather conditions. For low-quality vehicle image classification, the paper proposes a simple Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based model called Low-quality Vehicle Images Net (LVINet). Additionally, to further enhance classification accuracy, a spatial channel attention-based audio-visual feature fusion method is introduced. This method converts one-dimensional acoustic features into a two-dimensional audio Mel-spectrogram, allowing for the fusion of auditory and visual features. By leveraging the high correlation between these features, the representation of vehicle characteristics is effectively enhanced. Experimental results demonstrate that LVINet achieves a classification accuracy of 93.62% with reduced parameter count compared to existing CNN models. Furthermore, the proposed audio-visual feature fusion method improves classification accuracy by 7.02% and 4.33% when compared to using single audio or visual features alone, respectively. The paper aims to analyze and compare various deep learning (DL) algorithms in order to develop a Suspicious Activity Recognition (SAR) system for closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance. Automated systems for detecting and classifying suspicious activities are crucial as technology's role in safety and security expands. This paper addresses these challenges by creating a robust SAR system using machine learning techniques. It analyzes and compares evaluation metrics such as Precision, Recall, F1 Score, and Accuracy using various deep learning methods (convolutional neural network (CNN), Long short-term memory (LSTM) – Visual Geometry Group 16 (VGG16), LSTM – ResNet50, LSTM – EfficientNetB0, LSTM – InceptionNetV3, LSTM – DenseNet121, and Long-term Recurrent Convolutional Network (LRCN)). The proposed system improves threat identification, vandalism deterrence, fight prevention, and video surveillance. It aids emergency response by accurately classifying suspicious activities from CCTV footage, reducing reliance on human security personnel and addressing limitations in manual monitoring. The objectives of the paper include analyzing existing works, extracting features from CCTV videos, training robust deep learning models, evaluating algorithms, and improving accuracy. The conclusion highlights the superior performance of the LSTM-DenseNet121 algorithm, achieving an overall accuracy of 91.17% in detecting suspicious activities. To solve the problem that individual visual features could not be accurately extracted from low-light and high-noise pig face images in intensive farming, the optimal fitting curve parameters of image brightness enhancement were defined, and the Zero-DCE model was improved and Denoise-Net was introduced to achieve brightness enhancement and high-noise suppression of a single low-light pig face image. The experimental results show that, compared with EnlightGAN, Zero-DCE, Retinex, and SSE, the algorithm in this paper (DCE-Denoise-Net) has good results on image quality metrics such as information entropy, Brisque, NIQE, and PIQE in the absence of reference images. The image quality is improved. On the basis of improving the low visibility of low-light images, denoising was achieved. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) has been widely proposed for different tasks of heart sound analysis. This paper presents the results of a novel study on the performance of a conventional CNN in comparison to the different architectures of recurrent neural networks combined with CNN for the classification task of abnormal-normal heart sounds. The study considers various combinations of parallel and cascaded integration of CNN with Gated Recurrent Network (GRN) as well as Long- Short Term Memory (LSTM) and explores the accuracy and sensitivity of each integration independently, using the Physionet dataset of heart sound recordings. The accuracy of the parallel architecture of LSTM-CNN reached 98.0% outperforming all the combined architectures, with a sensitivity of 87.2%. The conventional CNN offered sensitivity/accuracy of 95.9%/97.3% with far less complexity. Adulteration in different spices is an emerging challenge in human civilization. It is commonly detected using different analytical and instrumental techniques. Despite good accuracy and precision many of such techniques are limited by their high processing time, skilled manpower requirement, expensive machinery and portability factor. Computer vision methodology driven by powerful convolutional neural network (CNN) architectures can be a possible way to address those limitations. This paper presents a CNN driven computer vision model which can detect cornstarch adulteration in turmeric powder along with the degree of adulteration. The model has been optimized using binary genetic algorithm (BGA) for improved performance and consistency. The experimentations presented in this paper were conducted with an in-house database prepared for 4 levels of adulteration and found to provide about 98% overall accuracy. The less expensive and faster detection capability of the model along with its mobility makes this proposal a promising addition to the existing spice adulteration screening methods. In order to improve the accuracy of English online course teaching effect evaluation results, a paper proposed an English online course teaching effect evaluation method based on ResNet algorithm. The effect of College English online teaching was evaluated from five aspects: pre-class preparation, teaching content, basic skills, ability training, and teaching methods. Each evaluation item was set with seven levels of scoring standards. An evaluation model of the classroom teaching effect was constructed based on convolutional neural network according to the internal relationship between facial expression recognition and classroom teaching effect evaluation. The problem of network depth deepening affecting the accuracy of evaluation in convolutional neural network models was innovatively solved by utilizing the ResNet algorithm. The evaluation of the effectiveness of English online course teaching was achieved. With explosive growth of industrial big data, workshop scheduling faces problems such as high complexity, multi-dimensionality and low stability. Recent years, the wide application of deep learning provides new idea for scheduling problem. In this paper, a hybrid deep convolution network and differential evolution algorithm is proposed to solve the non-permutation flow shop scheduling problem with the goal of minimizing total completion time. Mining relationship between job attributes and process priority by deep convolutional network is core idea of this method. In this paper, differential evolution algorithm is used to obtain the data set for deep learning, and neighborhood search algorithm is used to optimize scheduling solution. Additionally, a method combining k-means algorithm and data statistics is proposed, which provides a reasonable way for priority division. Recently, with the emergence of many image editing tools (photoshop, Topaz studio, etc.), the authenticity of images has been severely challenged. However, the performance of some existing traditional feature extraction methods and detection methods based on convolutional neural network (CNN) is poor, and the information provided by the features extracted from the network is limited and single. In this paper, an end-to-end ringed residual U-Net is proposed to detect image splicing forgery by blending features of non-natural regions. Some regions with significant differences from the image background are defined as non-natural regions(such as the irregular border at the splicing of images). In this paper, a feature enhancement module for non-natural regions is constructed, which the image through the pooling of four different scales, and these features are then combined with the original image and input to the backbone network for processing, aiming to highlight regions of the image that differ significantly from the background. Therefore, after adding the feature enhancement module for non-natural regions to the end-to-end ring residual U-Net, more attention will be paid to the tampering regions in the feature extraction stage, image manipulation detection and localization will also become more accurate. Compared with some mainstream methods, this method achieves better performance on the three standard datasets(CASIA2.0, NIST2016, COLUMBIA). BACKGROUND: In many developing countries, a significant number of breast cancer patients are unable to receive timely treatment due to a large population base, high patient numbers, and limited medical resources. OBJECTIVE: This paper proposes a breast cancer assisted diagnosis system based on electronic medical records. The goal of this system is to address the limitations of existing systems, which primarily rely on structured electronic records and may miss crucial information stored in unstructured records. METHODS: The proposed approach is a breast cancer assisted diagnosis system based on electronic medical records. The system utilizes breast cancer enhanced convolutional neural networks with semantic initialization filters (BC-INIT-CNN). It extracts highly relevant tumor markers from unstructured medical records to aid in breast cancer staging diagnosis and effectively utilizes the important information present in unstructured records. RESULTS: The model's performance is assessed using various evaluation metrics. Such as accuracy, ROC curves, and Precision-Recall curves. Comparative analysis demonstrates that the BC-INIT-CNN model outperforms several existing methods in terms of accuracy and computational efficiency. CONCLUSIONS: The proposed breast cancer assisted diagnosis system based on BC-INIT-CNN showcases the potential to address the challenges faced by developing countries in providing timely treatment to breast cancer patients. Accurate segmentation of knee cartilage in MR images is crucial for early diagnosis and treatment of knee conditions. Manual segmentation is time-consuming, leading researchers to explore automatic deep learning methods. However, the choice between 2D and 3D networks for organ segmentation remains debated. In this paper, we propose a hybrid 2D and 3D deep neural network approach, named UVNet, which combines the strengths of both techniques to enhance segmentation performance. Within this network structure, the 3D segmentation network serves as the backbone for feature extraction, while the 2D segmentation network functions as an information supplement network. Local and global MIP images are generated by employing various maximum intensity projection modes of knee MRI volumes as input for the information supplement network. By constructing a local and global MIP feature fusion module, the supplementary information obtained from the 2D segmentation network is fully integrated into the backbone network. We assess the quality of the proposed method using the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI) dataset and the 2010 Grand Challenge Knee Image Segmentation (SKI-10) dataset, comparing it to the Baseline Network and other advanced 2D and 3D segmentation methods. The occlusion in the real feedlot environment is ubiquitous, and the current research based on the cattle face recognition under occlusion conditions is almost non-existent. Thus, an attention mechanism module with high accuracy and low model complexity is designed to incorporate into MobileNet so that the cattle face under occlusion can be identify accurately, which is the RGB images captured in the ranch environment. In this paper, we also construct a Simmental cattle face image dataset for data modeling and method evaluation, which contains 10,239 images of 103 cattle. The experimental results show that when the occluder is in the upper left and lower right corner, if the occlusion rate is less than 30%, the value of Top_1 reaches more than 90%; if it is less than 50%, the value of Top_1 is more than 80%. Even if the middle part occludes lots of important information, the occlusion rate of 40% has an accuracy of more than 80%. Furthermore, comparing the proposal model with MobileNet, the parameter and model size are equal, and the amount of calculation as a cost increase a little. Human posture detection is easily affected by the external environment, resulting in blurred results of limb feature extraction. In order to improve the accuracy and speed of human motion detection, this paper proposes a deep learning-based motion detection method in competitive sports training. The double parallel convolution network algorithm in the depth learning algorithm is used to process the collected action information, extract the body action features, and greatly reduce the operation scale; With the help of the theory of motion mechanics, the mechanical parameters in the motion process are calculated to eliminate outliers and reduce feature dimensions; With the help of motion inertial sensors and joint degrees of freedom, the limb motion detection results are obtained. The issue of detecting improvised explosive devices, henceforth IEDs, in rural or built-up urban environments is a persistent and serious concern for governments in the developing world. In many cases, such devices are plastic, or varied metallic objects containing rudimentary explosives, which are not visible to the naked eye and are difficult to detect autonomously. The most effective strategy for detecting land mines also happens to be the most dangerous. This paper intends to leverage the use of a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to aid in the discovery of such IEDs. As part of a related project, an autonomous sensor array was used to detect the devices in terrains too hazardous for a human to survey. This paper presents a CNN and its training methodology, suitable to make use of the sensor system. This convolutional neural network can accurately distinguish between a potential IED and surrounding undergrowth and natural features of the environment in real-time. The training methodology enabled the CNN to successfully recognise the IEDs with an accuracy of 98.7%, in well-lit conditions. The results are evaluated against other convolutional neural systems as well as against a deterministic algorithm, showing that the proposed CNN outperforms its competitors including the deterministic method. Most methods for evaluating a company's financial performance currently focus on scoring, when there is a large amount of data, it is difficult to distinguish the company's financial status. To cluster and predict the financial performance of companies, a hybrid model based on the fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm (FCM) and convolutional neural network (CNN) is proposed in this paper. Pearson correlation analysis was first performed on the indicators to ensure that they are not correlated with each other and to avoid indicator redundancy. The entropy method determined the weight of each index and ensured the high validity of the selected indicators. Then, FCM clustering was carried out, and the performance of each company was clustered according to the indexes after data preprocessing with clustering labels. The processed data and labels were introduced into CNN to predict the level. The empirical study showed that the FCM-CNN model was superior to other machine learning models, which proved that this model has better clustering and forecasting ability, and could be applied to the prediction of corporate financial performance. The investigation on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) classification algorithm based on deep learning is particularly important in medical image analyses and has not been reported. This paper proposes an MRI classification algorithm based on convolutional neural network (MRINet), for accurately classifying CSVD and improving the classification performance. The working method includes five main stages: fabricating dataset, designing network model, configuring the training options, training model and testing performance. The actual training and testing datasets of MRI of CSVD are fabricated, the MRINet model is designed for extracting more detailedly features, a smooth categorical-cross-entropy loss function and Adam optimization algorithm are adopted, and the appropriate training parameters are set. The network model is trained and tested in the fabricated datasets, and the classification performance of CSVD is fully investigated. Experimental results show that the loss and accuracy curves demonstrate the better classification performance in the training process. The confusion matrices confirm that the designed network model demonstrates the better classification results, especially for luminal infarction. The average classification accuracy of MRINet is up to 80.95% when classifying MRI of CSVD, which demonstrates the superior classification performance over others. Colorectal cancer is the third most diagnosed malignancy in the world. Polyps (either malignant or benign) are the primary cause of colorectal cancer. However, the diagnosis is susceptive to human error, less effective, and falls below recommended levels in routine clinical procedures. In this paper, a Capsule network enhanced with radon transforms for feature extraction is proposed to improve the feasibility of colorectal cancer recognition. The contribution of this paper lies in the incorporation of the radon transforms in the proposed model to improve the detection of polyps by performing efficient extraction of tomographic features. When trained and tested with the polyp dataset, the proposed model achieved an overall average recognition accuracy of 94.02%, AUC of 97%, and an average precision of 96%. In addition, a posthoc analysis of the results exhibited superior feature extraction capabilities comparable to the state-of-the-art and can contribute to the field of explainable artificial intelligence. Aiming at the image features of stock data, considering the picture features of stock data and the characteristics of CNN's good at extracting picture features, the paper proposed a stock price trend prediction model CNN-M based on a Convolutional Neural Network. At the same time, based on the excellent image feature extraction ability of the residual network, this paper proposed a residual network-based stock price trend prediction model ResNet-M based on the Conventional Neural Network. The disease multiple sclerosis (MS) is characterized by various neurological symptoms. This paper deals with a novel tool to assess cognitive dysfunction. The Brief Visuospatial Memory Test-Revised (BVMT-R) is a recognized method to measure optical recognition deficits and their progression. Typically, the test is carried out on paper. We present a way to make this process more efficient, without losing quality by having the patients using a tablet App and having the drawings rated with the use of a machine learning (ML) algorithm. A dataset of 1’525 drawings were digitalized and then randomly split in a training dataset and in a test dataset. In addition to the training dataset the already trained drawings from a preliminary paper were added to the training dataset. The ratings done by two neuropsychologists matched for 81% of the test dataset. The ratings done automatically with the ML algorithm matched 72% with the ones of the first neuropsychologist and 79% of the ones of the second neuropsychologist. For a semi-automated rating we defined a threshold value for the reliability of the rating of 78.8%, under which the drawing is routed for manual rating. With this threshold value the ML algorithm matched 80.3% and 86.6% of the ratings of the first and second neuropsychologists. The neuropsychologists have in that case to manually check 17.4% of the drawings. With our results is it possible to execute the BVMT-R Test in a digital way. A convolutional neural network combined with attention mechanism and a parallel joint algorithm model (CATTB) of bidirectional independent recurrent neural network are proposed. The algorithm extracts the relocation feature and the "texture fingerprint" feature for expressing the similarity of the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) binary file content of the malicious web page, and uses the word vector tool word2vec to train the URL word vector feature and extract the URL static vocabulary feature. CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) is used to extract deep local features. Secondly, Attention mechanism adjusts weight and BiIndRNN (Bidirectional Independently Recurrent Neural Network) to extract global features. Finally, softmax is used for classification. This paper is focused on the field of computer vision in order to investigate the presentation properties of retinal blood vessels. Combining the structure of convolutional neural networks, activation functions, and common metrics in semantic segmentation, a dynamic network model for retinal vessel segmentation based on computer vision is constructed. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the results of retinal vascular segmentation based on computer vision. The image connection and alignment pattern selection process is also established to match retinal vessel images by computer vision. The performance of the dynamic network constructed here and the results of retinal vessel segmentation were then analyzed in three publicly available datasets, DRIVE (digital retinal images for vessel extraction), CHASE_DB1, and STARE (structured snalysis of the retinal. The ROC (retinopathy online challenge) curves on all three datasets exceeded 0.9, showing high performance, and the area under the PR curve exceeded 0.88. The accuracy of the results for retinal vessel segmentation was around 96%. Small object detection has a broad application prospect in image processing of unmanned aerial vehicles, autopilot and remote sensing. However, some difficulties exactly exist in small object detection, such as aggregation, occlusion and insufficient feature extraction, resulting in a great challenge for small object detection. In this paper, we propose an improved algorithm for small object detection to address these issues. By using the spatial pyramid to extract multi-scale spatial features and by applying the multi-scale channel attention to capture the global and local semantic features, the spatial pooling pyramid and multi-scale channel attention module (SPP-MSCAM) is constructed. More importantly, the fusion of the shallower layer with higher resolution and a deeper layer with more semantic information is introduced to the neck structure for improving the sensitivity of small object features. A large number of experiments on the VisDrone2019 dataset and the NWPU VHR-10 dataset show that the proposed method significantly improves the Precision, mAP and mAP50 compared to the YOLOv5 method. Meanwhile, it still preserves a considerable real-time performance. Undoubtedly, the improved network proposed in this paper can effectively alleviate the difficulties of aggregation, occlusion and insufficient feature extraction in small object detection, which would be helpful for its potential applications in the future. BACKGROUND: An effective method for achieving low-dose CT is to keep the number of projection angles constant while reducing radiation dose at each angle. However, this leads to high-intensity noise in the reconstructed image, adversely affecting subsequent image processing, analysis, and diagnosis. OBJECTIVE: This paper proposes a novel Channel Graph Perception based U-shaped Transformer (CGP-Uformer) network, aiming to achieve high-performance denoising of low-dose CT images. METHODS: The network consists of convolutional feed-forward Transformer (ConvF-Transformer) blocks, a channel graph perception block (CGPB), and spatial cross-attention (SC-Attention) blocks. The ConvF-Transformer blocks enhance the ability of feature representation and information transmission through the CNN-based feed-forward network. The CGPB introduces Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) for Channel-to-Channel feature extraction, promoting the propagation of information across distinct channels and enabling inter-channel information interchange. The SC-Attention blocks reduce the semantic difference in feature fusion between the encoder and decoder by computing spatial cross-attention. RESULTS: By applying CGP-Uformer to process the 2016 NIH AAPM-Mayo LDCT challenge dataset, experiments show that the peak signal-to-noise ratio value is 35.56 and the structural similarity value is 0.9221. CONCLUSIONS: Compared to the other four representative denoising networks currently, this new network demonstrates superior denoising performance and better preservation of image details. Masked face recognition embarks the interest among the researchers to find a better algorithm to improve the performance of face recognition applications, especially in the Covid-19 pandemic lately. This paper introduces a proposed masked face recognition method known as Principal Random Forest Convolutional Neural Network (PRFCNN). This method utilizes the strengths of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with the combination of Random Forest algorithm in Convolution Neural Network to pre-train the masked face features. PRFCNN is designed to assist in extracting more salient features and prevent overfitting problems. Experiments are conducted on two benchmarked datasets, RMFD (Real-World Masked Face Dataset) and LFW Simulated Masked Face Dataset using various parameter settings. Smart agriculture has shifted the paradigm by integrating advanced technologies, particularly weed management. This paper introduces an innovative approach to weed control by applying a Wavelet-based Convolution Neural Network (WCNN). In the era of precision agriculture, our study explores the integration of WCNN into real-world scenarios, emphasizing its adaptability to diverse environmental conditions. Utilizing the spatial-frequency analysis features of wavelets and convolutional neural networks, the WCNN model is the most effective at finding weeds, classifying them, and managing them specifically in agricultural fields in real-time. This research contributes to the scientific discourse on smart agriculture and addresses the challenges of invasive weeds, presenting a sustainable solution for optimizing resource utilization. Our investigation includes a detailed exploration of WCNN’s adaptive learning mechanisms and dynamic adjustment to changing agricultural landscapes. The model seamlessly integrates with existing smart farming infrastructure, showcasing a substantial reduction in manual intervention and a simultaneous increase in agricultural productivity. We incorporate fog computing and resource optimization into our framework, enhancing the efficiency of onboard data processing. To evaluate the real-world efficacy of WCNN, we conducted comprehensive experiments in texture classification and image labelling using two distinct datasets: the plant seedling and soybean weed datasets. Results demonstrate the superior performance of WCNN, achieving higher accuracy in training and test scenarios with significantly fewer parameters than traditional CNNs. For the soybean weed dataset, WCNN achieved remarkable accuracy in the training (0.9970) and testing (0.9987) phases, with correspondingly low losses of 0.0109 and 0.0048. Osteosarcomas are a type of bone tumour that can develop anywhere in the bone but most typically do so around the metaphyseal growth plates at the ends of long bones. Death rates can be lowered by early detection. Manual osteosarcoma identification can be difficult and requires specialised knowledge. With the aid of contemporary technology, medical photographs may now be automatically analysed and categorised, enabling quicker and more effective data processing. This paper proposes a novel hyperparameter-tuned deep learning (DL) approach for predicting osteosarcoma on histology images with effective feature selection mechanism which aims to improve the prediction accuracy of the classification system for bone tumor detection. The proposed system mainly consists of '6' phases: data collection, preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, feature selection, and classification. Firstly, the dataset of histology images is gathered from openly available sources. Then Median Filtering (MEF) is utilized as the preprocessing step that enhances the quality of the input images for accurate prediction by eliminating unwanted information from them. Afterwards, the pre-processed image was segmented using Harmonic Mean-based Otsu Thresholding (HMOTH) approach to obtain the tumor-affected regions from the pre-processed data. Then the features from the segmented tumor portions are extracted using the Self-Attention Mechanism-based MobileNet (SAMMNet) model. A Van der Corput sequence and Adaptive Inertia Weight included Reptile Search Optimization Algorithm (VARSOA) is used to select the more relevant features from the extracted features. Finally, a Hyperparameter-Tuned Deep Elman Neural Network (HTDENN) is utilized to diagnose and classify osteosarcoma, in which the hyperparameters of the neural network are obtained optimally using the VARSOA. The proposed HTDENN attains the higher accuracy of 0.9531 for the maximum of 200 epochs, whereas the existing DENN, MLP, RF, and SVM attains the accuracies of 0.9492, 0.9427, 0.9413, and 0.9387. Likewise, the proposed model attains the better results for precision (0.9511), f-measure (0.9423), sensitivity (0.9345) and specificity (0.9711) than the existing approaches for the maximum of 200 epochs. Lung cancer is one of the dangerous diseases that cause shortness of breath and death. Automatic lung cancer disease identification is a challenging operation for researchers. This paper, presents an effective lung cancer diagnosis system using deep learning with CT images. It also decreases lung cancer's misclassification. Initially, the input images are gathered from online resources. The collected CT images are given to the detection stage. Here, we perform the detection using a Multi Serial Hybrid convolution based Residual Attention Network (MSHCRAN). Using a deep learning framework lung cancer detection using CT images is effectively detected. With the continuous development of sensor and computer technology, human-computer interaction technology is also improving. Gesture recognition has become a research hotspot in human-computer interaction, sign language recognition, rehabilitation training, and sports medicine. This paper proposed a method of hand gestures recognition which extracts the time domain and frequency domain features from surface electromyography (sEMG) by using an improved multi-channels convolutional neural network (IMC-CNN). The 10 most commonly used hand gestures are recognized by using the spectral features of sEMG signals which is the input of the IMC-CNN model. Firstly, the third-order Butterworth low-pass filter and high-pass filter are used to denoise the sEMG signal. Secondly, effective sEMG signal segment from denoised signal is applied. Thirdly, the spectrogram features of different channels' sEMG signals are merged into a comprehensive improved spectrogram feature which is used as the input of IMC-CNN to classify the hand gestures. Finally, the recognition accuracy of IMC-CNN model, three single channel CNN of IMC-CNN model, SVM, LDA, LCNN and EMGNET are compared. The experiment was carried out on the same dataset and the same computer. The experimental results showed that the recognition accuracy, sensitivity and accuracy of the proposed model reached 97.5%, 97.25% and 96.25% respectively. The proposed method not only has high average recognition accuracy on MYO collected dataset, but also has high average recognition accuracy on NinaPro DB5 dataset. With the development of society, health has attracted more and more attention. Heart disease is a common and frequently occurring disease, and it is fatal. Rapid and timely diagnosis and treatment of heart disease is very important. Electrocardiogram (ECG) reflects human heart health and is widely used in heart disease examination. Existing methods depending on doctors' personal experience and diagnostic level are time-consuming and inefficient. Therefore, a classification method that can automatically analyze ECG is required. Aiming at the classification of 12-lead ECG, based on the good performance of convolution neural network, this paper proposes a method of ECG classification based on lead convolution neural network, which can effectively and accurately detect, recognize and classify ECG. First, the image features are extracted after the ECG is preprocessed, and then using the fuzzy set reduces the extracted ECG image features. Then, residual learning is used to optimize the convolutional neural network, and in order to ensure that the network is easy to train and fast convergence, a random parameter initialization method is introduced to achieve better classification results. In this paper, the authors propose an improved convolutional neural network for automatic arrhythmia classification using Electro-Cardio-Gram (ECG) signal. It is essential to periodically monitor the heart beat arrhythmia to reduce the risk of death due to cardiovascular disease (CVD). The Visual Geometry Group network (VGGNet) is being widely used in computer vision problems. However, the same network cannot be used for classification of ECG beats as ECG signal is different from image signal in terms of dimensionality and inherent features. Thus, the authors investigated the effect of decreasing depth and width of a convolutional neural network in context of cardiac arrhythmia classification. In this paper, six configurations differing in depth and width are evaluated using benchmark MIT-BIH database. A deep network having thirteen convolution layers but with a smaller number of filters (reduced width) showed outstanding performance for the given problem. Based on the findings, the work is further extended to propose an improved convolutional neural network named as modified VGGNet (mVGGNet) for the task of ECG arrhythmia classification into four classes which are normal (N), ventricular ectopic beat (VEB), supraventricular ectopic beat (SVEB) and fusion beat (F). The hyper-parameters of the proposed architecture were optimized using sequential model based global optimization (SMBO) algorithm. The proposed architecture is evaluated using subjected-oriented patient-independent evaluation protocol. The performance is evaluated using five-fold cross-validation. The proposed mVGGNet achieved 98.79% and 99.16% accuracy for ventricular ectopic beats (VEB) and supraventricular ectopic beats (SVEB) classification respectively. This paper presents a medical brain image algorithm based on multi-feature fusion. Feature extraction based on convolutional neural network was used as texture information, feature extraction based on voxel information was used as morphological feature, and then the two types of features were combined in series. This paper designs a brand-new image retrieval method of mammary cancer based on convolution neural network. This method simulates VLAD layer in CNN network structure, designs a trainable universal VLAD layer-NET VLAD layer, reduces dimensions and optimizes VLAD descriptors, applies structure from motion algorithm to automatically label samples, and obtains the minimum loss function value by a new training program of weakly supervised ranking loss. Affect detection is a key component in developing Intelligent Human Computer Interface (IHCI) systems. State of the art affect detection systems assume the availability of full un-occluded face images. However image occlusion is a prominent problem which one comes across while dealing with such systems. The challenge is to identify affect states from portions of the face that are available. This paper proposes a novel method of assessing only a segment of the face instead of the whole face for affect detection. This paper aims at finding segments of the face which contain sufficient information to correctly classify the basic affect states. This work uses Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with transfer learning to detect 7 basic affect states viz. Angry, Contempt, Disgust, Fear, Happy, Sad and Surprise from a few prominent facial segments. Full face images are partitioned into separate segments viz. Right segment, Left segment, Lower segment and Upper segment. Modified VGG-16 and ResNet-50 networks were trained using each of the segments. Experiments were conducted using these facial segments and results obtained were compared with that of the full face. Using the VGG-16 network, we have been able to achieve validation accuracies of 96.8% for Full face, 97.3% for Right segment of the face, 97.3% for Left segment of the face, 96.6% for Lower segment of the face and 84.7% for Upper segment of the face. The validation accuracies are higher using the ResNet-50 network. Using the ResNet-50 network we have been able to achieve validation accuracies of 99.7% for Full face, 99.47% for Right segment of the face, 100% for Left segment of the face, 99.6% for Lower segment of the face and 90.8% for Upper segment of the face. Apart from accuracy, the other performance matrices used in this work are Precision, Recall and f1-score. Our evaluation, based on these performance matrices show that the results obtained for Right segment, Left segment and Lower segment of the face using both, VGG-16 as well as ResNet-50 networks, are comparable with that of the Full face. Experiments performed clearly indicate that Right segment, Left segment and Lower segment of the face contain sufficient information about the seven affect states and that CNN with transfer learning can be used to accurately classify them. Chest X-rays (CXR) are widely used to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of critically ill and emergency patients in clinical practice. Accurate hemi-diaphragm detection based on postero-anterior (P-A) CXR images is crucial for the diaphragm function assessment of critically ill and emergency patients to provide precision healthcare for these vulnerable populations.Therefore, an effective and accurate hemi-diaphragm detection method for P-A CXR images is urgently developed to assess these vulnerable populations’ diaphragm function.Based on the above, this paper proposes an effective hemi-diaphragm detection method for P-A CXR images based on the convolutional neural network (CNN) and graphics. First, we develop a robust and standard CNN model of pathological lungs trained by human P-A CXR images of normal and abnormal cases with multiple lung diseases to extract lung fields from P-A CXR images. Second, we propose a novel localization method of the cardiophrenic angle based on the two-dimensional projection morphology of the left and right lungs by graphics for detecting the hemi-diaphragm.The mean errors of the four key hemi-diaphragm points in the lung field mask images abstracted from static P-A CXR images based on five different segmentation models are 9.05, 7.19, 7.92, 7.27, and 6.73 pixels, respectively. Besides, the results also show that the mean errors of these four key hemi-diaphragm points in the lung field mask images abstracted from dynamic P-A CXR images based on these segmentation models are 5.50, 7.07, 4.43, 4.74, and 6.24 pixels,respectively.Our proposed hemi-diaphragm detection method can effectively perform hemi-diaphragm detection and may become an effective tool to assess these vulnerable populations’ diaphragm function for precision healthcare. Anomaly detection in networks to identify intrusions is a common and successful security measure used in many different types of network infrastructure. Network data traffic has increased due to the proliferation of viruses and other forms of cyber-attacks as network technology and applications have developed quickly. The limitations of classical intrusion detection, such as poor detection accuracy, high false negatives, and dependence on dimensionality reduction methods, become more apparent in the face of massive traffic volumes and characteristic information. That's why IoT infrastructures often use Software-Defined Networking (SDN), allowing for better network adaptability and control. Hence, this paper's convolutional neural network-based Security Evaluation Model (CNN-SEM) is proposed to secure the source SDN controller from traffic degradation and protect the source network from DDoS assaults. The proposed CNN-SEM system might defend against DDoS assaults once discovered by applying and testing a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The model can automatically extract the useful aspects of incursion samples, allowing for precise classification of such data. The detection and mitigation modules evaluate the proposed SDN security system's performance, and the findings showed promise against next-generation DDoS assaults. The experimental results show the CNN-SEM achieves a high accuracy ratio of 96.6%, a detection ratio of 97.1%, precision ratio of 97.2%, a performance ratio of 95.1% and an enhanced security rate of 98.1% compared to other methods. In this paper, the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) energy management optimization method is proposed based on deep learning (DL) model predictive control. Through empirical research combined with the questionnaire survey, this article not only provides a new perspective and practical basis but also improves the efficiency and accuracy of the model by improving the relevant algorithms. The study first analyzes the importance of HEV energy management and reviews the existing literature. Then, the optimization method of HEV energy management based on the deep learning model is introduced in detail, including the composition of energy management for hybrid electric vehicles, the structure and working principle of the deep learning model, especially the backpropagation neural network (BPNN) and the convolutional neural network (CNN), and the steps of application of deep learning in energy management. In the experimental part, questionnaire data from 1,500 consumers were used to design the HEV energy management optimization scheme, and consumers' attitudes and preferences towards HEV energy optimization were discussed. The experimental results show that the proposed model can predict HEV energy consumption under different road conditions (urban roads, highways, mountain areas, suburban areas, and construction sites), and the difference between the average predicted energy consumption and the actual energy consumption is between 0.1KWH and 0.3KWH, showing high prediction accuracy. In addition, the deep learning-based energy management strategy outperforms traditional control strategies in terms of fuel consumption (6.2 L/100 km), battery charge and discharge times (814), battery life, and CO2 emissions, significantly improving the efficiency of HEV energy. These results demonstrate the great potential and practical application value of deep learning models in the optimization of energy management of HEVs, helping to drive the development of more sustainable and efficient transportation systems. Deformable medical image registration is a fundamental and critical task in medical image analysis. Recently, deep learning-based methods have rapidly developed and have shown impressive results in deformable image registration. However, existing approaches still suffer from limitations in registration accuracy or generalization performance. To address these challenges, in this paper, we propose a pure convolutional neural network module (CVTF) to implement hierarchical transformers and enhance the registration performance of medical images. CVTF has a larger convolutional kernel, providing a larger global effective receptive field, which can improve the network's ability to capture long-range dependencies. In addition, we introduce the spatial interaction attention (SIA) module to compute the interrelationship between the target feature pixel points and all other points in the feature map. This helps to improve the semantic understanding of the model by emphasizing important features and suppressing irrelevant ones. Based on the proposed CVTF and SIA, we construct a novel registration framework named PCTNet. We applied PCTNet to generate displacement fields and register medical images, and we conducted extensive experiments and validation on two public datasets, OASIS and LPBA40. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and generality of our method, showing significant improvements in registration accuracy and generalization performance compared to existing methods. This paper presents an automatic facial micro-expression recognition system (FMER) from video sequence. Identification and classification are performed on basic expressions: happy, surprise, fear, disgust, sadness, anger, and neutral states. The system integrates three main steps. The first step consists in face detection and tracking over three consecutive frames. In the second step, the facial contour extraction is performed on each frame to build Euclidean distance maps. The last task corresponds to the classification which is achieved with two methods; the SVM and using convolutional neural networks. Use less data stream information to transfer the image or the amount of information contained in the image. In the general image compression method, the hybrid coding framework is adopted. Each algorithm adopts a fixed algorithm mode through a specific design algorithm, without global optimization. Image compression is mainly divided into prediction, transformation, quantization, digital entropy coding and other steps. At present, there are many researches on super-resolution network based on deep learning technology. The main function is to reconstruct high-resolution image replace image magnification low-resolution images such as linear interpolation, which has a great performance improvement image resolution, noise reduction, deblurring and so on, but there is no effective way to use super-resolution network applications to improve quality of compression reconstructed image quality. This paper involves a new method that using image super-resolution residual learning network to improve quality of compression image, our method, the reduced image is encoded into a content stream and a transmission corresponding parameter is encoded into a model stream. Firstly, the original image is scaled down 1/2 size of source image, then encode the small image into content stream with the existing codec. Secondly, the residual learning super-resolution (SR) network is used for image filtering to scale up reconstructed image with decode image resizing method and boost the quality of edge feature extraction of image. Glaucoma is a condition of the eye that is caused by an increase in the eye's intraocular pressure that, when it reaches its advanced stage, causes the patient to lose all of their vision. Thus, glaucoma screening-based treatment administered in a timely manner has the potential to prevent the patient from losing all of their vision. However, because glaucoma screening is a complicated process and there is a shortage of human resources, we frequently experience delays, which can lead to an increase in the proportion of people who have lost their eyesight worldwide. In order to overcome the limitations of current manual approaches, there is a critical need to create a reliable automated framework for early detection of Optic Disc (OD) and Optic Cup (OC) lesions. In addition, the classification process is made more difficult by the high degree of overlap between the lesion and eye colour. In this paper, we proposed an automatic detection of Glaucoma disease. In this proposed model is consisting of two major stages. First approach is segmentation and other method is classification. The initial phase uses a Stacked Attention based U-Net architecture to identify the optic disc in a retinal fundus image and then extract it. MobileNet-V2 is used for classification of and glaucoma and non-glaucoma images. Speech Recognition and its potential applications in terms of "talking devices" have become indispensable in today's world. Technological advances like mobiles, smart home assistants or tablets extensively use the techniques of automatic speech recognition that works good for adults but cannot always follow and understand children's speech. The primary goal of this paper is to bridge the gap of communication between voice assistants and Indian children speaking English as secondary language. The issue of lack of children's speech corpora with English as non-native language, is addressed by creating a dataset of children in the age group of 5-15 years, speaking Hindi or Marathi as their mother tongue and English as their second language. The analysis and implementation of the proposed work shows the accuracy of approximately 96% and potential for further scope by increasing the size of dataset in lower age group. In the field of image classification, the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are effective. Most of the work focuses on improving and innovating CNN's network structure. However, using labeled data more effectively for training has also been an essential part of CNN's research. Combining image disturbance and consistency regularization theory, this paper proposes a model training method (PairTraining) that takes image pairs as input and dynamically modify the training difficulty according to the accuracy of the model in the training set. According to the accuracy of the model in the training set, the training process will be divided into three stages: the qualitative stage, the fine learning stage and the strengthening learning stage. Contrastive learning images are formed using a progressively enhanced image disturbance strategy at different training stages. The input image and contrast learning image are combined into image pairs for model training. The experiments are tested on four public datasets using eleven CNN models. These models have different degrees of improvement in accuracy on the four datasets. PairTraining can adapt to a variety of CNN models for image classification training. This method can better improve the effectiveness of training and improve the degree of generalization of classification models after training. Dose-volume histogram (DVH) is an important tool to evaluate the radiation treatment plan quality, which could be predicted based on the distance-volume spatial relationship between planning target volumes (PTV) and organs-at-risks (OARs). However, the prediction accuracy is still limited due to the complicated calculation process and the omission of detailed spatial geometric features. In this paper, we propose a spatial geometric-encoding network (SGEN) to incorporate 3D spatial information with an efficient 2D convolutional neural networks (CNN) for accurate prediction of DVH for esophageal radiation treatments. 3D computed tomography (CT) scans, 3D PTV scans and 3D distance images are used as the multi-view input of the proposed model. The dilation convolution based Multi-scale concurrent Spatial and Channel Squeeze & Excitation (msc-SE) structure in the proposed model not only can maintain comprehensive spatial information with less computation cost, but also can extract the features of organs at different scales effectively. Five-fold cross-validation on 200 intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) esophageal radiation treatment plans were used in this paper. COVID-19 has been considered as a global pandemic. Recently, researchers are using deep learning networks for medical diseases' diagnosis. Some of these researches focuses on optimizing deep learning neural networks for enhancing the network accuracy. Optimizing the Convolutional Neural Network includes testing various networks which are obtained through manually configuring their hyperparameters, then the configuration with the highest accuracy is implemented. Each time a different database is used, a different combination of the hyperparameters is required. This paper introduces two COVID-19 diagnosing systems using both Residual Network and Xception Network optimized by random search in the purpose of finding optimal models that give better diagnosis rates for COVID-19. The proposed systems showed that hyperparameters tuning for the ResNet and the Xception Net using random search optimization give more accurate results than other techniques with accuracies 99.27536% and 100 % respectively. We can conclude that hyperparameters tuning using random search optimization for either the tuned Residual Network or the tuned Xception Network gives better accuracies than other techniques diagnosing COVID-19. Robust and reliable 3D multi-object tracking (MOT) is essential for autonomous driving in crowded urban road scenes. In those scenarios, accurate data association between tracked objects and incoming new detections is crucial. This paper presents a tracking system based on the Kalman filter that uses a deep learning approach to the association problem. The proposed architecture consists of three neural networks. First, a convolutional LSTM network extracts spatiotemporal features from a sequence of detections of the same track. Then, a Siamese network calculates the degree of similarity between all tracks and the new detections found at each new frame. Finally, a recurrent LSTM network is used to extract 3D and bounding box information. This model follows the tracking-by-detection paradigm and has been trained with track sequences to be able to handle missed observations and to reduce identity switches. A validation test was carried out on the Argoverse dataset to validate the performance of the proposed system. The task of cell segmentation in microscope images is difficult and popular. In recent years, deep learning-based techniques have made incredible progress in medical and microscopy image segmentation applications. In this paper, we propose a novel deep learning approach called Residual-Atrous MultiResUnet with Channel Attention Mechanism (RAMRU-CAM) for cell segmentation, which combines MultiResUnet architecture with Channel Attention Mechanism (CAM) and Residual-Atrous connections. The Residual-Atrous path mitigates the semantic gap between the encoder and decoder stages and manages the spatial dimension of feature maps. Furthermore, the Channel Attention Mechanism (CAM) blocks are used in the decoder stages to better maintain the spatial details before concatenating the feature maps from the encoder phases to the decoder phases. We evaluated our proposed model on the PhC-C2DH-U373 and Fluo-N2DH-GOWT1 datasets. The experimental results show that our proposed model outperforms recent variants of the U-Net model and the state-of-the-art approaches. Glaucoma is an irreversible blindness that affects the people over the age of 40 years. Many approaches are proposed to detect glaucoma in image by dealing with its complex data. Redundancy is the major problem in medical image which could lead to increased false positive and false negative rates. This paper proposed a three-structure CNN optimized with Hybrid optimization approach for glaucoma detection and severity differentiation. The CNN structure is designed with three sub-groups to do attention prediction, segmentation and classification. The mathematical equation for Loss function is derived for the CNN structure with three hyper-parameters which is optimized with Hybrid approach. Hybrid optimization approach consist of Muddy Electric fish Optimization and Grass hopper optimization algorithm for exploration and exploitation processes. The proposed method is designed in a Matlab and validated with LAG and Rim-One database. The proposed method achieved accuracy greater than 95% and other metrics like F2 and AUC has reached 98%.
